Negative experience: They somehow only have 1 squat rack and 2 rope attachments for the whole main gym area. But they do have 40 smith machines!

Negative experience: Bs gym! The staff no that many times gym members will lock the washroom form inside! Yet they do nothing to unlock it again! Instead they just leave it until the night ends! Bs do better! IDC if weights are not in their place but at least washrooms need to be in good working condition!

Negative experience: Signed up here about 2-3 months ago you sigh up online and go to front desk to verify and get your key, I used a debit card and apparently system couldn't charge me for the second month and I got an email about it to see the front desk until the "30th" of the month if not then my membership would be "automatically cancelled" said in the email. I preferred this gym because it is 24 hours open and I almost always go late at night before sunrise I was planning to go early and talk to the front desk about the issue but then when I've seen that my membership has been canceled BEFORE the 30th unlike it said in the email I received I was not pleased, I had to buy a day pass to workout at the gym which I have a membership. Anyways I told the manager about this issue and asked for a refund on the day pass (said no way) the I ask for any type of compensation (also said no) whatever I was left having to pay a day pass and some late fee because the system couldn't charge my debit card. Staffs are cool though and they seem helpful and the manager also seem like a cool/chill person but when talked to him about a missing 3 pound dumbbell if they could replace/buy he also denied, I will soon try my luck again I just think it is not alot to ask for to invest for 3 pound dumbbells for your members fit4less needs to do better.

Fantastic experience: Where do I start, Very apprehensive going to a new gym, however as soon as I walked in I was greeted by Kristine, (hope I spelled that correctly) and she was able to walk me around to show me the equipment. Her knowledge of the machines and description of each to provide the best information I needed to be productive at the Barrie location made me feel less scared and more confident in so many levels. Her smile upon entry was inviting and she is always on the go. Barry also by far excels in personality and the ability to keep things running smoothly. Keep up the good work I love my me time here

Fantastic experience: Best gym in barrie if you want an easily accessible 24/7 gym with low membership fees. I'm gonna say that I have compared this gym with other gyms in barrie, and it has the cheapest subscription. There are plenty of machines, so no worries for a great workout.

Negative experience: This location does not have a black card workout area, which is pretty inconvenient because it gets busy and crowded during peak hours. This location also should have more water stations because I couldn't find anywhere to fill up my water bottle.
Negative experience: It’s a very nice gym space and I’ve never had issues with waiting for machines too long. Lots of space to workout and lots of equipment. Low rating is because the gym does not get cleaned properly. The shower floors and walls are gross, the drains in the sinks and in the showers look like they don’t get cleaned properly ever. The change rooms are tidy, but never clean. Overall nice space, just not kept up very well at all. If you plan on showering here, I would make other plans!

Negative experience: Very crowded gym if you like to wait 30 minutes for equipment. I think they oversell memberships here. Spam adds interrupting the music is pretty annoying. Staff don’t seem to do much. 24/7 access is good as early morning is the only time I don’t wait around for equipment

Positive experience: Great gym for the value, has everything you’ll ever need. The only thing I’d recommend is turning the music down. Most people are plugged in to their own devices so you don’t need the music blaring.

Negative experience: I have been charged three times this month. They don't pick your call and email ID is invalid. Scamming everyone. The work customer service I have experienced so far. And to cancel the membership I have to wait on the queue. Don't get scammed people. BEWARE

Positive experience: It’s a good gym and affordable. I go in the morning so there are fewer people and it is cleaner. However, if you want to shower at the gym, forget it, its unreliable. It’s suppose to be turned on when they come in for seven. Rather than having it open 24/7 or on a timer, you have to wait for staff to come in. I’ve waited 20 minutes multiple times before and opted to go home instead. Also I have only been here 2 months and this has happened over and over again. Why is it not 24/7 like planet fitness? Negative experience: My two stars are awarded to the excellent staff, as well as the fact that the gym is 24/7. However, It is missing three stars for these three reasons. 1. No water fountain (I mean come on, really?) 2. Certain individual's hygiene (It's almost to the point of bringing a bag full of deodorant and passing it out to some of these folks.) 3. The hygiene again... It's crazy how gross the place smells most of the time due to people not understanding how strongly bad body odor spreads. Perhaps each membership should include a stick of deodorant? Is there a way to regulate this issue? Signs, etc?
Negative experience: My gym was closed for the day so I thought I would give it a shot no free trial for first timers spend $22 for a few hours no water fountains small lockers unfortunately for them they are surrounded by much better gyms but still not the worst gym in Barrie
Fantastic experience: Update May 2024: said I would update when they got a water fountain and now they have one. Much much better! The gym itself is pretty good especially for the price but I have two things I wish they would address. The Orillia location has a new water fountain, this location doesn’t and desperately needs one. Bathroom tap water is gross. Also they play music quite loud which seems redundant when the vast majority of people are listening to their own music. I have to crank my headphones to drown out their music. Turn it down and we all benefit. Will update review if I see changes.

Negative experience: Fit4Less is a reasonable gym for a relatively affordable price. Beware though; they charge 49.99 for a yearly fee which they don’t tell you upon sign up, and they charge you the fee without sending any notice at all of your membership needing to be renewed. They can send emails regarding promotions in the gym, but they will not tell you when they intend to take more money out. It’s a ridiculous business philosophy. If you want a better experience, go to planet fitness down the road. It’s a nicer gym, better and more helpful staff, and all round a nicer company to be apart of.

Positive experience: For people looking for a convenient 24h gym without the fluff and excessive pricings attached. Gym equipment has cardio, weight training machines. If you go during off-peak times it's nice and quiet.

Negative experience: Horrible service with the skinny girl and glasses and young brunette. Always too busy chatting with friends and ignoring customers at front. They use the be back in 4 mins sign and busy talking with bfs or girls., I waited an hour once til someone came to the front. Luckily I stayed on the treadmill. When the guy is working always up front or cleaning and watches for people at desk.

Positive experience: Close to my home. There are lots of great machines. Love the hydrobed, massage chairs and the tanning. The only downside is...the people who hog several machines at one time and the people who sit on the machine forever on their phone. Sometomes machines are broken for a long time, this is frustrating. Other than that, I love this gym!!

Negative experience: I just started going here after leaving planet fitness and I am disappointed in few things. You cant use hydro or massage chairs unless staff is there. Weekend hours for staff is crazy as very crowded on weekend. The treadmills are dirty and full of dust especially in the fan vents that are blowing on you. the massage chairs are awesome when your able to use them. I wish like planet fitness where always had staff there. I might have to consider going back not sure yet.

Positive experience: For the most part, typical commercial gym. Members seem to put their stuff away which is nice. No water fountain, (which is very unfortunate). No WiFi. Hopefully mirrors get cleaned more. Would love if Fit4Less had an in-between cost for those who wish to use other gyms but don't access the 'extras' the black card comes with. I frequently use two gyms, this one in Barrie and another in Brampton and due to my training schedule and work schedule, I'm unable and unwilling to come in during staffed hours (hello 5pm mega rush) to use the tanning and hydromassage bed. Otherwise, ya get what you pay for. It works and you'll be able to achieve your goals.
Positive experience: Good gym for the price. Has most of the stuff you will ever need for a good workout. If you want a more "fancy" workout experience you definitely have to look somewhere else. However, it's hard to beat the price and being open 24/7, specially since most gyms close by 9-10pm. Also, a water fountain is very needed. You can tell they are trying to push you to buy from the vending machine, but instead I just bought a 2L water bottle lol
Negative experience: It seems like all the owner ever says is thanks for feedback or talk to staff...I don't see ANY offers to take action or to communicate directly with ownership or specific changes that might be coming...Very disappointing and although I'm shopping for a gym it makes me very wary as it should...Any business that really cares about its customers makes it easy to resolve issues etc. and that certainly doesn't seem to be the case here. Other than the Y, every gym makes it difficult to cancel memberships. Delays, hurdles of different types, unexpected rules...can't cancel until one year anniversary...must submit a written request...must do it in person...they just keep taking payments and mysteriously can't get the head office/bank to do it right and the list goes on... It's obvious that This gym doesn't want to make it easy for people to rectify problems... I notice with the negative reviews the only recourse is to reach out to them on social media…. Why can't you just phone and speak to a person alive person who can get the problem solved... I guess that's why it's fit for less... less service because they received less money but they will do everything they can like virtually every gym to make sure that they get money out of your bank account for the absolute maximum length of time humanly possible legally possible legally possible so we all need to beware
Negative experience: horrible staff . i was told to renew my membership before it expired which i did so and they took my 65$ and still cancelled my membership and then was told nothing to fix it . i would recommend going to LA fitness or literally any other gym . never going her again . horrible horrible staff and company .

Negative experience: The manager is super rude! He doesn’t know how to treat their costumers and he is super arrogant. I dont recommend this gym to anybody. The gym is good but the staff is terrible. They will give you the wrong information about everything. Dont go to this gym!!!

Negative experience: Decent gym, a nice size and a good selection of equipment considering how much a membership costs. However the staff is pretty subpar, they never smile or greet you at the front, and are usually found just chatting with their friends throughout the gym. I’ve actually overheard them chatting with their buddies about their friends with benefits situations too, pretty unprofessional and cringey to listen to. Perhaps if they have so much free time, they could spend it cleaning the facilities more as the washrooms aren’t very clean and lockers usually have leftover garbage.
Positive experience: Not a bad gym, but the cleanliness leaves something to be desired. The bathroom floors don't appear to have been cleaned in a very long time, and the sinks are filthy. Overall, the fit4less patrons seem to be a younger crowd than my last gym, I don't know if this has anything to do with the overall cleanliness of the facility, but the patrons here seem far less concerned with wiping down their machines after use than other gyms that I've been to. The lockers at this gym are really small and barely fit a standard size backpack. The shower stalls and change rooms could use some more regular cleaning as well. The change room/showers/locker configuration is strange in that there is no dedicated change room per se (there are three individual change stalls and three individual, seperate shower stalls) so, if you want a shower after your workout, you need to try to get dressed in the shower stall without getting your feet wet. The lack of anyplace to refill your water bottle is also kind of a pain. Overall, it's an OK gym, the price is definitely reasonable, and I am able to get a good workout, but I would appreciate the staff paying a bit more attention to the cleanliness of the facility.

Negative experience: This gym is insane! Read in full - admin logistic nightmare If you sign up, be sure that you get and RECORD the number sent to you for the first membership email. If you do not, they won’t give you your membership number, and it’s not on your membership card, yes really. Why this affects you? If you want to change or cancel your membership online, simply, you cannot. They will keep charging you regardless of your ask for them to stop. Secondly, they decided to void all membership cancel requests that accrued during covid and told us, too bad, if you filed during covid it’s been thrown out and it’s YOUR duty to (for the second or third time might I add) re-file for a cancellation when doors open. All before or after are again being voided. I’ve tried to cancel my membership numerous times. I’ve had to change my bank card and put a “stop payment” on this account instead because they make it near impossible to just cancel the membership

Negative experience: I went in and signed up, was told by the person at the desk once I signed up I was able to come and work out. (Nothing about booking a time… only gym in the area that you have to book a time btw!!). So I signed up, and went in. As I headed on to a machine I was told I had to leave because o didn’t book a time. (By the same person who just told me to come in after signing up). I explained what she just told me and she said “too bad, I don’t remember that conversation, go mane a profile online and book a time”. This was literally 5-10 minutes from last conversation. I left and went to my car, called and asked to cancel my membership. Was told I had ten days to go do so and didn’t need to rush. I responded saying I wanted it canceled right now. She then said she put throw the cancellation and I would have money 24-48 hours back in my account. Three days later still no money, so I called back I got a guy and he said the cancelation was never out throw and he would do that now, it would take about one week. I called back on the weekend to make sure everything was set and told it was confirmed. Now it’s been over a week, I called back because still no money. Was told that the cancelation still had not been put throw but I was over my 10days. I explained everything about what had gone on and this person told me “head office has to revive the request then process it”. And it would be another week, she then verbally confirmed the payment would not come out of my account the following week. Now it’s been 2.5 weeks and I have still had no money and the next payment has come out of my account. Again when I called I was told the cancelations have not been put throw. There is no number for head office or general help lines. I am beyond angry about this situation now, which the hard part is that I am trying not to get angry with the current staff I am talking to because it may not be their direct fault but everyone else dropping the ball has lead to this.

Fantastic experience: The gym is great. Has everything you need. I like the timed training. Lots of free equipment when it's mostly empty. I don't use the tanning beds or massage chairs. But, I'm sure they're good. Can't beat the price. Do it!
