Negative experience: Went in for a week pass they told me I had to pay per day. Many people received week trials but this location is rude and denied a potential new member.

We do offer a 1 visit pass for those who have not visited/ used a GoodLife Fitness in the past. You are welcome to see if you're eligible for this offer should you wish to return.
Negative experience: You need to upgrade your equipment, when we are paying the same for GoodLife as the people through GTA and everywhere, why should we have from what I recall as out dated and old machines and very few in number. Get upgraded.

Negative experience: Probably the worst GoodLife in the local area. Machines are dated, equipment/ amenities are all dirty and feels unhygienic, location is very small and everything is so close together you feel that people are bumping into you while you’re working out. Would not recommend unless they change their cleaning staff and increase their budget to improve this place.

Negative experience: I unfortunately can't recommend this location. I understand the corporation sets the pricing, and the billing practices are designed to keep people in contracts for years. However, quoting one price over the phone and a different one in person is not the most transparent way of conducting business. The location is small, and the machines are very close together.

Fantastic experience: I love this location. Good central location, great parking, and the facility is in great condition. The staff are all friendly and I had a great experience with my trainer Jibran who is knowledgeable and overall really awesome.

Positive experience: Good gym to workout at, my only recommendation would be to do a renovation... especially the change rooms! This gym looks the same as it did 10+ years ago.

Fantastic experience: I happened to attend the Stretch and Relax class at this location during the winter break and it was AMAZING. A great class for all round body strengthening. The instructor Najette was super engaging. Please consider adding this to the regular class schedule at the Trafalgar club.

Fantastic experience: I can't express enough, how wonderful, warm and welcoming the staff at Goodlife Fitness Oakville are..I suffer with anxiety/PTSD, so taking that first step was very hard for me. Laken and Madeline greeted me and took the stress away..Laken hooked me up with a trainer which she felt would be great with me because of my anxiety and she was right! Jaibran Zoubairi is the best trainer ever! He didn't want to just train me but get to know me. He took his time with me.I never felt rushed or inadequate. Jaibran made me feel like I belonged and at home. I can't thank them enough for helping me take my first steps to a better life!

Negative experience: Poor staff and management. Two guys occupied just one bench press for more then 1 hour and 15 min( may be more). Both were just shooting there workout. But is this fair to be for such time on one flat bench press and others keep on waiting and staff was watching all that like.

Fantastic experience: Riley Bell has been my fitness trainer for the last 8 to 9 months at this place. I had joined the gym with a goal of losing weight and Riley has guided me through my weight loss journey with patience and encouragement. From the very first day, he had a personalized workout and diet plan for me which we followed effectively. He’s friendly, enthusiastic and helpful, willing to accommodate requests and the kind of person who’s genuinely involved in guiding his clients towards achieving their goals. I have a background in medicine and I really enjoy discussing health and fitness issues with someone like him who’s knowledgeable enough to have an excellent understanding of these topics. With Riley’s guidance, I have lost almost 30 lbs and have made a complete lifestyle change. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to improve their fitness.

Positive experience: Decent gym, a little on the smaller side. I did the personal trainer package and my PT Jasmin was really nice, friendly and knowledgeable. I also enjoy the classes, the instructors are lively.

Fantastic experience: This gym is fantastic. Machines are well serviced and areas including change rooms are very clean. Staff is fantastic especially Laken (A.G.M). Highly recommend this location of Goodlife!
Positive experience: Good location and lots of parking. Smaller gym but they pretty much have what you need for your workout. It can be busy at times and have to wait for a machine to become available. Some machines are broken and it takes sometime to be fixed. Staff here are friendly.

Positive experience: New and nice but fitness room sometimes not cleaned well ,I also mentioned this at reception desk all the times I noticed. I was told that by second(!) morning class it gets dirty even though it was cleaned during the night. And no cleaning between classes.

Negative experience: Very weird stuff unfortunately because even they don't know how to stick with deal you agreed with..They suddenly cancel ouebership then they want to charge of newembership. This branch should be somewhere else but not in Oakville..

Negative experience: Gym gets closed after 2 pm due to construction as per the team working there. from last 2 days don’t know why they even open in morning … second day missed my workout … feel bad and regretting my decision

Negative experience: Poor gym. If you want to cancel your membership, contact the customer service line directly. If you contact this gym, they will charge you extra payment. And don't pay the personal trainer session in this gym. You will regret!

Negative experience: Gym doesn't pick up phone when calling about account freezes or cancellations. The number for the actual membership hotline to do adjustments just bounces back saying they are not available to take your call at the moment, even when calling within business hours (1:00 pm). Overall makes it near impossible to freeze or cancel your membership making you obliged to constantly pay large sums of money overtime. The gym left me no choice but to cancel payments through my bank account and then a month later I get a nasty email saying that they are going to take legal action against me if I don't pay for the service I never used or wanted. This company uses a bullying tactic to make people pay for services and prevents them from cancelling or freezing through the same means. The individual named Jessie at the front stated that members can call the store anytime to cancel the membership, which is not true considering the club doesn't pick up their phone whenever I called. Upon initially signing up the pressure to sell me add on packages was insane. The lady pitched me the same plan 5 times after I denied it and made me feel extremely awkward not wanting to buy into additional features that I would never use. The overall interaction felt very awkward and unsettling, seemed extremely sale driven and made you feel uneasy. Overall I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for gym memberships. There are a multitude of gyms that myself and other friends of mine have been yo that offer WAY MORE for less and also have much better customer service. In goodlife there is no proper customer appreciation and there is no proper customer service. Coming from someone who had worked in customer service for a decade, im not one to write these reviews....but honestly save your time and money. LA fitness, Sky fitness are two good options nearby that offer double the service that this gym offers. People have already been dealing enough with the pandemic, if you want to save yourself a major headache and an absurd amount of disappointment....don't buy into goodlife's fake messages and sales pitches. It's not worth going here when there are so many better options with better customer satisfaction.

Negative experience: Not recommended at all. I cancelled my membership months ago and they kept debiting my bank account. They have a bad manager. She used the f word during our conversation.

Negative experience: Do not ever give your bank account to Goodlife. Ever!! They take out money even if you cancel the membership under the guise that you sent cancellation it to the wrong email address (they have many email addresses). Also, they take out the full amount when you freeze the account even though you put it in writing. Happened to me twice and tried to get a refund and the excuse that you sent your cancellation to the wrong email address. If you call them they redirect you to their website. Gouging is the word, even during covid times!. Would advise you to not give any bank information to them at all

Fantastic experience: I moved from another gym, the place is well managed and has all the equipment I’m looking for kept in good condition. I booked a session with a fitness trainer Cam Lazaro, he is very knowledgeable and professional, he also showed me a couple of techniques to improve the training outcome. I do recommend him if your are looking for a personal trainer.

Fantastic experience: Amazing workout experience with my personal trainer Joe Scrivo. I would highly recommend to have personal training sessions with him regardless of your goals, may it be strength, muscle building, conditioning or all of it. Joe has been a solid rugby player with great technical knowledge and education in the field. His application of this knowledge through pragmatic workout routines, creative forms and amazing coaching capabilities makes him best at what he does ! He has tons of experience of his own and will adjust the routines in-line with the demands of your physique/injuries, if any. If you really want some serious transformation, Joe is the guy!!

Positive experience: Great gym! Has a few issues here and there but the previous/current gym GM/AGM are super helpful. Sometimes tends to get crowded with limited machines, but the trainers and associates are great. Shoutout to Andre and Cass for always staying positive and sticking to their workouts! They’re very inspiring and positive and it’s good to see :)
Fantastic experience: Great staff at this location, and with the covid-19 safety procedures in place there's alot more equipment that's free to use! Specifically, Cassandra was a fantastic help and great personality to be around! The only downside is having to wear a mask during your workout sessions, honestly its necessary for safety but really cuts your breathing capabilities right away. Will be back to this location soon!

One of the girls who works here Cassandra K has really been helping me with my fitness goals and always making sure I’m motivated and I can’t thank her enough! Fantastic experience: I love coming to this gym. It's small, but has everything you need to get a great workout - a lot of cardio machines, weight machines, and room for your own strength workouts. I especially love the group fitness offerings. The staff make you feel very welcome - especially Cassandra.
Fantastic experience: Both the staff and equipment at the Trafalgar Ridge Plaza location are great. I was a bit hesitant on going back to the gym during covid but the staff at this location keep everything running safely and are happy to answer any questions you have. Also, this club isn't as busy as some of the larger locations, so that's a big plus. 6 Stars if I could.

Fantastic experience: Paid my first visit to this Goodlife location today and was very impressed. My normal club is Belleville who set a high standard and this club met it. The facility was very clean, the staff were super polite and there was no shortage of the equipment I needed. Shout out to Hannah for answering all my questions and giving me tips on my squatting form.

Fantastic experience: I used to be a member at the Dorval location and I was pretty sad about the closing. Thankfully, transitioning to OTR has been super easy and it has been nice to have Rebecca, a friendly face from Dorval, to help! She's made the transition seamless. She has also gone out of her way to introduce me to other staff so I can always have someone encouraging me to reach my goals! I love the atmosphere at this gym.

Was helped by Sherdil who was really polite, toke his time with me and went through what Goodlife standard was. Felt really comfortable after i talked to him and will be restarting my fitness journey after a long hold since March.
Fantastic experience: Sherdil was an amazing fitness advisor as he helped me up out when I first started my fitness jounrey. Location is great, but its a smaller location it's the staff that makes it great especialy Sherdil as he would advise me to fix my form during a workout if he sees me doing anything wrong, without me even asking for help.
Fantastic experience: Love this location! Very clean, weights organized, and friendly staff! Sherdil by hands down is my favourite employee! Always greets me with a “hello, how are you?”. Great individual, and would highly suggest to see him for any inquiries you may have regarding this location and the functionality of GoodLife Trafalgar. Kudos to Sherdil!

Fantastic experience: I've been at this club ever since it opened. The staff are great and always look forward to my workouts - feels like a 2nd home to me. I also want to highlight the sales staff, especially Cassandra, who has continually and consistently provided great service throughout my time at this location. I've been so impressed that despite a larger, brand new club opening in the area, I feel more comfortable here. I have, and will continue to encourage my colleagues, family and friends to join here. I don't have a 2nd thought when I recommend they deal with Cassandra, whom I completely trust that she will take care of them. Please keep up the great work.
Fantastic experience: I was super nervous about returning to a gym with the pandemic and everything going on but I was highly impressed with all the procedures that they had in place, super clean and the staff was extremely helpful. The general manager Rebecca was amazing, she was super helpful and so friendly and helped me get set up in the club. Definitely recommend this location!
Fantastic experience: Amazing gym! Drake from the front desk was very welcoming, and made me feel much more comfortable as I am new to gyms and working out. The facilities were excellent and I feel very safe with regards to covid due to the multiple protocols they have in place.

Fantastic experience: I haven't been going to the gym as much since they re-opened after COVID, but I've slowly been getting back into the hang of things. The staff at this gym is amazing but I have to give a big shoutout to Cassandra Karpiuk who always goes out of her way to strike up a conversation and to make sure I'm reaching my fitness goals. Fantastic experience: I have been a member of goodlife fitness for a number of years, and felt the need to post a review recently to give thanks to the staff in relation to their professional response to covid-19. You all have done a spectacular job in making this gym feel like a safe environment for us. I'm sure everyone is well aware of the protocols by now so I will spare you the details, but I will say they are reasonable and necessary. Long before this virus, I started training at the Dorval location which has since been closed down, one staff member in particular, Sherdil, has always handled anything in regards to my membership or any adjustments that need to be made. He has always been great and made me feel welcome in the gym environment, and reflects well on what I believe the company should represent, and I now consider him a close friend. After the goodlife closed on Dorval I followed him to the Trafalgar location and started training here ever since. Ask for him when you sign up for a membership! Respect to the whole team!
Fantastic experience: Had a great experience at this location! Its where I started my fitness journey with help from Sherdil, who was lovely to work with and had a great attitude. I felt safe working out during Covid because everything was nice and clean, and people were keeping distance properly. Would recommend this location.
Positive experience: Been going there for a long time, the equipment are decent, the staff couldn’t care less if you were there or not. All in all it’s not bad but if I had an alternative in my area I’d definitely switch. Slightly pricey for what you get
Negative experience: I have been trying to call your location for the past week and no one is answering. Does anybody work your front desk? I called corporate first trying to resolve an issue and they redirected me to you. Not the greatest customer service...
Negative experience: Came in to try out the gym was greeted by sherdil refused to give me a day pass when I asked to speak to someone else he refused to allow me to speak to someone. Poor service I will not be recommending this gym to anyone. Gives GoodLife a bad name.
Hi Carlos, it is true that while we are reopening, we have specific capacities for the locations. That said, you are welcome to wait in the stand by line and pay our drop in fee is capacity allows. We hope you give us another chance.
