Fantastic experience: It’s very good ,we all have to think about fitness,I thankful for advice from my friends to join.

Positive experience: It's a decent gym, I go earlier to avoid crowds... if you're someone who actually knows what he/she is doing, you'll see a lot of amateurs with horrible form and nonsense workouts.

Negative experience: I request from General Manager (not local manager) of Fit4less, please check the security cameras of 45 Overlea Blvd Fit4Less and ask, why most of the time no body on the front desk on during 8 am to 10 pm? We are not able to use Massage chairs without them? So, if you are not able to be a guy here, please make the massage chairs by self client. We have black card, but not able to use. I am sorry to saying that.

Negative experience: Please make sure to read the fine print. They require a 30 day cancelation policy. So even if you can’t use the gym the get two free payments out of you. When questioned I was told it’s in the fine print. Another way they try and rob you.

Fantastic experience: Was weary to get a membership initially as I have heard that some discount gyms are not well maintained, dirty, and the staff are rude. However, this is the exact opposite of what I encountered. You can always find a staff walking around cleaning the floors and equipment. All of the equipment is in good condition and if something breaks it is repaired quickly. Staff are very kind and happy to answer any questions. Really great environment!

Fantastic experience: My wife and I are members at the coxwell location and that place is nice. Clean and a good variety of weights and machines on 2 floors. As comparison my wife went to the fit 4 less at thorncliff and she hated that place. It was small and crowded compared to the coxwell location. She won't be going back to that location anymore even though it is closer to where she is going to school.

Negative experience: Decent gym, but many members don’t clean up after themselves. Equipment and spaces are often left dirty wish the gym encouraged better hygiene among users. dirty gym :(

Negative experience: They are scammers, the gym is dirty and smell like skunk, I have not been using their gym for months and last payment i made was on October 15,2024, two days ago they renewed my membership for another year without even communicating with me at all!

Positive experience: Staff are fantastic, they clean machines everyday and keep the gym nice and tidy.

Negative experience: NO drinking water fountain, why???, how much does it cost you to add a water fountain to your customers? I can not believe it.

Negative experience: Dear Fit4Less Management, We are in 2024, and even some remote villages in the most rural part of Africa have access to clean drinking water... what an absolute embarrassment to call yourself a 'gym' but to not have the appropriate facilities for your members to acquire a basic human necessity in the form of drinking water. Would you like me to volunteer and dig you guys up a well? Because clearly, after multiple years of complaints, nobody will take responsibility and initiative to invest in the most sought out after requirement. Had to bring 3 water bottles, just to survive and even that was not enough, my mouth felt like an absolute sahara, especially considering the fact we reach peak temperatures with this ongoing heatwave. I would consider management to resign if you overlook my specific complaint aswell as my fellow members' continuous calls of concern. Do better.

Fantastic experience: Great gym! Smart move hiring a security guard to work nights. I love this location but sometimes go to the Victoria Park branch because of the Stair Master. Please can we get a couple of Stair Masters for the Overlea branch too?

Negative experience: Manager Nicole has some issues handling gym member problems. very subjective with decision and not receptive at all…I am surprised how she is the manager of such good facility. No thank you no sorry no hi no bye!!

Negative experience: What kind of gym doesn’t have a water fountain, equipment poorly maintained and a machine is broken every other week, dumbbells cap at 75s.

Positive experience: Definitely not a GoodLife that's all I gotta say there.

Negative experience: Been going to this gym for years. It's gone downhill. The gym used to be a lot cleaner and the people going used to care. Now the the machines are frequently broken. Weights aren't put back. If you can tell what the weight actually is due to idiots peeling off the labels. Many of the local teens think it's a hangout place and they get in the way of those who want to actually work out. They leave weights in the way, don't reset, yell, and vape on the floor and sleep in the massage beds when the staff have gone home for the day. There's even a bunch of them who hold the emergency door open at the front of the gym to allow people to get in. This gym needs Security. It needs cleaned. And the equipment needs refreshing. I'm only still working out here because it's the only gym that's 24hrs that's near me. Update Fit4less fix your benches and equipment. It's useless to workout correctly if you can't adjust the benches. There's 3 that are broken for over a month now.

Negative experience: I can't believe I paid almost $500 for access to a glorified homeless shelter. Place is filthy, bottles thrown around, people sleeping in the change rooms and on hydro beds after hours.

Positive experience: its an ok location i just dont like how it is in the basement but all the equipment is good and there is a lot of equipment

Positive experience: I went here during winter times and the place were mostly clean. I just wish they have a private room for black card holder bc that one really helps when it gets busy during some other times but other than that I enjoyed my workout in here throughout the winter times

Negative experience: Literally had a parking ticket while working out at 4am, you guys should let the city know y'all open 24/7

Positive experience: Nice large gym, clean, good equipment. Lockers, change rooms, free plaza parking, WiFi but NO drinking water fountain NO showers. ‍♂️

Negative experience: Have been going to this gym for over an year now, had no problem when Jeff was the manager.As soon as the new manager came along I had issues with the volume of the music..it's too loud as it interferes with listening to your own music..informed the manager Nicole about it, she said she has not increased the volume which is a blatant lie..then after a while the music was lowered that was about 2 months ago and now recently the volume has been increased again ..this time was told the regional manager Trent has increased the volume ..I have also complained with DM on the Instagram page of fit4less with no avail. Fit4less your members don't come to listen to your music ,they come to use your freaking equipment..90% of the members wear their own earphones or headphone and listen to their own music...all you guys have to do is reduce the music so that your members can enjoy their workout..please use what makes sense in your policies at the gym. As I said earlier I never had a problem for a year ,only when the new management took over ..May be its just your management's egos that need to be in check over here.

Positive experience: Reasonable price and with alot of equipment. The massage bed unfortunately is rarely accessible for people who workout late.

Positive experience: Don’t go after a rainstorm, its located in the basement, i believe the roof leaks its super humid like a sauna and staff are cleaning the floors at peak hours. I only go to this location because its close to home.

Negative experience: Worst smelling gym I've ever been to. None of the members wipe down the machines when done. Not having showers should be illegal for a gym. At least you can always watch the mid day kids fighting on yoga balls in the corner mats.

Fantastic experience: Great ambiance at the Thorncliffe location.

Positive experience: Not bad for the price. It could be smelly when is busy but it’s not gym’s fault.

Negative experience: I considered leaving this gym six years ago. The management wasn't very good and the place was dirty. A new manager came along and the conditions greatly improved. Unfortunately, he has now left and the gym is not the same. The gym is no longer as clean (clumps of dust and hair can easily be found in various corners of the gym) and management is not engaged. Last week there was an incident where a young woman verbally abused and threatened my friend and I. Clearly there was a loud altercation and even after the staff and management were told about it, no one came to investigate. This is not a safe environment and it is not the first time something like this has happened. I have cancelled my membership and do not have any regrets.

Negative experience: It’s about the workers! They definitely need to change their attitude! The only good one is the one usually working in afternoon shifts with a happy smile on her face all the time and hard working too, always in uniform of fit4Less, always looking after people if someone needs any help!

Negative experience: Highly take money membership but quality place poor smales

Positive experience: Been going to this gym for 2 years now no problem whatsoever. However I wish the club would put a water fountain somewhere in the gym. I’ve been to other f4l gym and most of them have water fountain. I wish they would put one because most of us wants to keep hydrated while working out. The vending machine is not working and the drinks are mad expensive.

Negative experience: They take an annual fee without leting the customer know bad experience with them

Negative experience: I just cancelled my membership after 3 years. Homeless people sleeping in the massage beds all the time and git threatened by a guy sleeping there every night for saying it's cheaper than a Hotel. Joined planet fitness much better club for same price. It's staffed 24/7 and you get use of hydro chairs and bed 24/7.

Positive experience: The gym is in pretty good shape, with the majority of the equipment being functional. Would've been great if they had showers as well.

Negative experience: I am always waiting for 20 to 15 minutes every single day and there is no one to response on reception

Positive experience: Treadmill machines are always finicky and sometimes not working. Staff is good but the members are not always hygienic, making the experience a forgettable one. But hey! You get what you pay for! It is cheap!

Negative experience: My card stopped working all of a sudden and no options no one to talk to and all my payments are clear, I have legal proof of payment statements and I am a black card member paying membership fee without a delay since months, never recommending this gym brand to anyone. Not even a live customer support service to get guidance and the chatbot does not help either.

Negative experience: I havent had a single issue with the staff unlike what others have mentioned in the reviews. They are actually pretty nice people BUUUUT today was the third time the gym was closed due to a water leak within the past two/three weeks. If you cant fix the issue why dont you just close the gym permenantly. Don’t recommend getting your fit4less membership with this location at all.

Negative experience: Standard Fit4less location Spacious and a lot of machines, weights...etc However, it's one of the dirtiest locations I've been to in terms of etiquette and manners. I seldom see people cleaning the machines/benches/mats after use. It's just disgusting. It's also not hard to find bars with weight plates still on them. Plates and dumbells are never organized and are all over the floor. It's not the club's fault, and just how the general demographic is around this area. I also know this review will not help to make any changes. But people using this place are really ill-mannered and often indifferent about other users of the gym. Even only during the staffed hours, they need some kind of measures to enforce bare minimum etiquette.

Fantastic experience: Honestly best gym in the area for its price point. The staff is always friendly and helpful, Curran at the front desk today was super helpful! Overall if you want a gym, with lots of dumbells, machines and cardio machines this is the gym to get a membership at. Incredibly spacious, great staff who always take care of the place, especially the price point. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Its realy very dirty place. Staff never took care of their customer's issues. My daughter went there for her her first time and got alergic reactions on her hands and arms. They dont ptovide any kind of sanitization, so people can use it befor start using any machine.

Positive experience: Great place and atmosphere. Only needs working staffs on the weekends.

Negative experience: I velieve they just hire anyone, employees behaved very rudely with me infront of my wife. I used fit4less in other regions, did not have this much bad experience. Please either hire decent people or atleast pay them enough so that they respect your customers. Gym employee behaved very rudely with me, please tell your employees not to consider them above your customers. Any situation can be dealt with clear communication with respect...

Positive experience: This location has become my regular gym to start my day before work, the early morning crowd is an ambitious one, love to see so many people getting after it. However the night crowd need to improve on Etiquette thus location is typically a mess, paper towel everywhere and weights never racked and scattered. Not the clubs fault. Over all good experience. It would be a 4 star if not for the mess left by others

Positive experience: I gave this gym a 5-star rating an year ago because “how can you complain when it’s so cheap,” but have grown annoyed the last few months. I’m not annoyed about missing amenities - I’m annoyed about the features/amenities that ARE available but are often broken with an “Under Maintenance” sign for weeks or even months. 1. Location has 3 squat racks, 7 bench press stations (4 flat, 2 incline, 1 decline), 1 seated shoulder press, and a landmine. So you’d expect there to be 12 45lb barbells? No, there are only 8, so 4 of those 12 stations can’t be used at any given time. 2. The barbells themselves are all worn out with practically zero knurling. Very hard to grip. 3. One of the machine hip abductor machines has been out of service for months now. 4. One of the 2 seated cable rows is again out of action for who knows how long. So is one of the pulleys on the cable crossover machine. 5. I know the gym can’t do much about this but patrons that frequent this location have little to no etiquette when it comes to tossing dumbbells, plates, and fixed bars all over the place. Some will even leave bars with 300+ lbs on them on the floor after they are done deadlifting. 6. I go 6x a week and I am pretty sure I’ve only seen the vending machine operational maybe 5 times in the last year. It has a permanent “under maintenance” sign on it. If you ever forget to bring water, and it’s too early or too late, better walk out to the 24-hour Circle K to get some and hope the 30-minute check-in limit doesn’t keep you waiting. Apart from maintenance and equipment issues, the gym really needs someone to enforce basic etiquette. It’s also warmer there the last few weeks. The AC was off a week ago and since then it’s being noticeably warmer if that matters. Pros: cheap, equipment issues generally not a problem if you’re an off-peak hours gym goer, is a basic gym in a basic neighbourhood so you won’t run into entitled TikTok content creators with tripods.

Fantastic experience: It isn't Fit For Less it's Fit For More! If you are looking for a no frills budget gym, open 24/7 that has all the variety of basic equipment you need in a safe, clean, spacious and comfortable environment then this is the gym for you. The manager Geoff, and the staff at the EYTC location are very nice and helpful. They are always cleaning the gym, mantaining the equipment and on top of everything. I enjoy coming to work out everyday and seeing their friendly smiles. I consider myself a proud member of Fit For Frugals!

Negative experience: Worst gym I have ever experienced. I have gotten my boots stolen from here because of the policy for leaving the outside shoes on the rack. There are no cameras pointing at the entrance with shoe rack. There is one camera in a far distance pointing at it and it doesn’t help. This gym has poor security for the client’s safety.

Negative experience: Spacious and plenty of equipment. Fair enough for the price. BUT what bothers me is the SMELL. You can tell the smell by just walking at the entrance. It smells awful!!!! I've been to couple of gyms around the area and it gets really busy too but does not smell bad compared to this location. This location needs proper ventilation! Also, what is wrong with the machines that are always under maintenance?

Positive experience: Nice GYM special when It's 24/7. But they don't care about the machines, they prefer to keep them borken than fixing them. Also, we are in a GYM, so please create a nice music playlist. If It's hard, simply get them from YouTube or Spotify

Fantastic experience: Just joined and really pleased. Love the price and I don't need all the bells and whistles, just wanted heavy weights and machines. Clean and very well maintained. People seem to mind their own business and focus on themselves. Feel comfortable going here.

Positive experience: Mid gym, has basic machines and enough space to make things work. I exclusively go at night to make sure I’m able to use the machine because I can’t imagine the smell of this place otherwise. A few of the machines end up broken or aged with sounds of the screams of the damned. For what you pay for it’s worth it enough. Don’t bother with the hydro junk or massage chairs since they probably aren’t cleaned or in use. C tier gym.

Negative experience: I took a membership and canceled within their 1st 10 day period and I'm waiting for my refund from last 3 months garbage company FIT 4 LESS.

Negative experience: 3 flat benches, 2 incline benches and 1decline bench with no barbells…all being used to deadlift cause they don’t have extra bars…also half the equipment has been broken for about a month.

Positive experience: Great gym, but for the love of God TURN THE AC OFF!!! It's freezing in there.

But please PLEASE get the broken equipment repaired ASAP. Some of the crowding is attributed to people waiting to use the working equipment. Thanks so much.

Positive experience: Decent, better than some of their other locations. They have quite a few power racks which is hard to find at some discount gyms. They also have lots and lots of plates of all weights which is amazing, you never have to go looking for the right weights around the gym.

Positive experience: Fairly spacious location on the concourse level of the mall that doesn't seem to get too packed until dinner time. Regardless, huge selection of dumbbells and plenty of benches, equipment and mirror space. There are two leg press machines, at least five places for pull-ups and many treadmills. Private bathroom and change rooms, small lockers in the open, no showers. Massage chairs and massage beds available. Staff hours are 7am-10pm weekdays and 11am-4pm on the weekend.

Negative experience: NEVER SIGN UP TO THIS PREDATORY GYM. Hardest thing ever to cancel, they charge you 2 times after you cancel because of their “policy”. Disgusting and predatory behaviour. Shame on you.

Negative experience: I suspect they're operating below 50% capacity. Once you get in the gym, after a 40 minute wait, it's empty- at 8 pm, I counted maybe 40 people (with another 20 + outside) . They also don't have capacity limits posted, so you can't verify yourself that they're actually at capacity. The location and parking make this gym convenient, but the consistent 40 minute wait time is the reason I'll be canceling. I'd rather a more accessible gym at any cost.

Positive experience: You need to wait everytime at least half an hour, to enter and this is strange, taking into account the size of the gym. Lawrence or CenterPoint locations a smaller but the capacity there is bigger and there is no lines there. Other than that it's ok.

Negative experience: If you want to wait in a long queue for an hour everyday to enter the gym. You are welcome.

Positive experience: Great gym with all the necessary work out equipments. 4 stars as they do not have showers or a Swimming pool, other than that the best thing about them is that they used to be 24/7 always open and clean.

Negative experience: Very bad experience with this location do not waste your money and do not contract with them after cancel they still steal your money I canceled the contract because worst customer service not clean do not go there
