Fantastic experience: If you want a place where you can train and feel comfortable this is the place you want to be. The staff is friendly and the members too, cleanliness is a must and there is always wipes ready to use and I've never encountered a mess and it makes a great experience. Since the first day I saw the gym I knew it was the right place to start working out again and I was not wrong, and there is 3 hour free parking making a huge plus!. The manager Nick is also willing to hear feedback and thus result in a well maintained gym.

Positive experience: I came here cause BBY and Vancouver Kingsway was packed 7pm - 10pm. Gym was not as packed and lots of room, BUT no ac. It was very hard to breath and no air flow to move the air. Like being in a friggin sauna. Hard to workout here.

Fantastic experience: One of my favourite AF locations! It's newly renovated, never packed, and is clean and well-kept. Everyone here is respectful and friendly, and the general manager Nick is so personable and accommodating. I also enjoyed my introductory personal training session with Steffi. It is so encouraging to be in an environment with people who look out for you and care for your well-being, which is what makes this particular location stand out. Underrated! :)

Positive experience: Super friendly and helpful staff , it’s a decent gym the only issue is the machines are on the older side , would’ve been a greater workout if the hamstring curl machine was updated.

Fantastic experience: Convenient location, a slightly older gym, no complaints cause everything works and there are tons of equipment. However, the washrooms are quite dirty. Edit: the staff here are phenomenal, complaint was handled instantly and washrooms were way cleaner. Thank you:)

Fantastic experience: It’s a relatively small gym but it has everything you’ll need for training. The General Manager, Nick, is one of the most personable and genuine managers I’ve ever met. Which is quite refreshing given the current corporate climate we live in. Their prices are not bad, and membership comes with some nice perks. I was paired up with Miguel as my personal trainer and he is by far the best one I’ve met. He was also personable, but also knowledgeable, and very nice. He was patient with me, given that I am very flaky with the gym, and helped me understand his process and made me a routine that works well with the myriad of health issues I have. Highly recommend!

Positive experience: Is nice gym to go, the amenities looks like brand new. Is not too crowded compared with any other gyms in the area.

Negative experience: Obviously, anytime fitness is not available anytime. We knocked the door and waitedd for at least 20 minutes and here’s no ANYBODY and ANY STAFF come outside to explain what happened.

Fantastic experience: My first time working out at the Aberdeen Anytime Fitness was an absolute pleasure, thanks to the warm welcome from Nick. Nick and his team is dedicated to creating a friendly and supportive environment for anyone on their fitness journey. The facility was very clean, well-maintained, with just enough space and equipment needed for a full body workout. Kudos to Nick and the team at the Aberdeen location for a great first experience at Anytime Fitness.

Fantastic experience: This gym is newly renovated. Super nice, spacious, clean and tidy inside. Really good place to workout in the afternoons or anytime on the weekends as it is never packed or busy at all like other gyms. On top of that, staff is friendly, amazing, and hardworking. Always have a blast talking to them every time I come workout. This gym is underrated. Is a must try.

Fantastic experience: Clean environment very nice and positive people to work out with, coach Kris Tsang was very helpful and showed me lots of exercise to help with the bad posture I had for year, my posture is getting better day by day, and his advice really opened my eyes for what physical fitness can help with my health and wellbeing.

Fantastic experience: I really enjoyed the time when I went there with a friend! The place was just renovated so it looked really good and had good equipment as well. Went there on the weekend and wasn't too busy, the members and staff there were also really nice, especially Bianca, helped us through with everything and provided a good customer experience! Fantastic experience: Edited on Jan 22: Changed my review to 5 stars. Outstanding customer service, they genuinely care about their members. The regional manager and the manager of the location both reached out to me after that day. I sat down with the manager, and he explained the situation, which is just a lot of unfortunate events happened at the same time. He ensured me they would update the door system so situation like this would not happen again in the future. For anyone who's considering joining this location, you won't be disappointed. Don't be fooled by the old reviews. They changed owner so things are way better. The gym is clean with a good amount of equipment, and as stated above, the staff are great! (The gym is 24h) Original: Really liked this location. But unfortunately, I had a really bad experience on Jan 19, I arrived ready to work out, but noticed the gym lights inside were off with no one in there, then I tapped my fob, and nothing happened, no unlock sound, no lights on the sensor. So I waited, watched around 15 people do the same thing for the next 2h, still nothing, so I guess the gym is not 24h access?

Fantastic experience: Nick helped me and my girlfriend sign up here. He was extremely friendly and answered all of my questions in detail. Definitely one of the best experiences I’ve had when signing up for a gym. The gym itself is kept extremely clean, along with the bathroom and showers which are pretty big. My favourite parts about the gym are definitely being able to park so close and being able to come and go when I want. As for equipment, it all seems pretty up to date and there is nothing missing that I need to get a good workout in. Shoutout Nick you legend!

Fantastic experience: This Anytime Fitness location is definitely worth to come. I reach out to them for my fitness goals and their personal trainer Steffi told me where should I start and she also creates work out plans individually for her students. I have been coming to this location for about a month now and I feel I am more motivated to do exercises. Their price is also reasonable compare to other gyms in town.

Fantastic experience: Came here after work one day just for a quick workout session and immediately fell in love with the place and since then I have been a regular member of AF Aberdeen. It has all the major equipment and cleanliness is on point. Bathrooms and change rooms are very spacious. Staff is very polite and professional and is willing to go above and beyond to help you with your fitness journey.

Fantastic experience: I have worked out on different continents and Anytime Fitness has some of the best spots to find that quality to train. The Aberdeen location and its Staff have been extremely important in welcoming me to their facility. Nick, Bianca, Steffi and Blake so far have made me feel part of the AF family. This particular location is not super busy at times and you can get in a quality workout if your dedication outweighs your lack of motivation. The showers and washrooms are very roomy and plenty of space for a post workout cleanse. (having another restroom wouldn’t be so bad ;) ) For the price of the membership, your access to feeling better in the long run is worth the effort. The location is safe and convenient to sky train. Bus and skytrain. 24 hour Tim Hortons if you still want your caffeine fix. There is also security on site 24 hours a day. The site has safety measures in place should you feel uncomfortable. Purple is also one of my favourite colours. So I was sold. If they every bring in pink …

Fantastic experience: Very clean and roomy compared to other Anytime Fitness locations.

Negative experience: This gym is poorly run. Despite being a 24-hour gym, it will regularly close (or not be open) without informing you. Regardless of whether the gym is attached to a mall, the frequency of this issue is totally unacceptable, especially with no communication. When they held renovations a few months prior to this review, they were closed before and beyond the posted schedule and did not provide any updates to customers. On the renovations, they were dismal at best: they added a couple platforms with racks, got a new set of weights and otherwise just updated the branding. This was almost certainly done out of corporate obligations and not for the sake of improving the gym. In general, the management/staff make decisions that don’t make sense. The marketing promotions they come up with are illogical (gift cards for new joiners sounds nice in your head, but doesn’t really do anything for gym goers who have memberships). The customer success manager is invasive and kind of creepy, I have received messages reminding me to not allow tailgating despite not doing so, as well as personalized messages asking for feedback, which I’ll admit is far less egregious. As a side note, that is an incredibly unsafe rule to have your members enforce, the fact the customer success manager is doing this is remarkably shortsighted.

I want to highlight Manager Nick, who made sure to assist us before the grand opening. The gym was closed, but he provided us with all the necessary information, and we closed the plan with him. A very helpful guy. Anytime is 24-hour gym and offers parking, is always well-fragranced and clean. You receive an access tag, and there are lockers with keys to store your belongings. The bathrooms are private, with a shower, dryer, and benches for your convenience. There are also mirrors. This helps because you can work out at the gym before or after work or study, with no excuses. As for the equipment, they are always clean and well-maintained. They are of professional quality, with smooth movements on the articulated machines, avoiding jams. If you are unsure where to train, I am enjoying the environment and what the gym has to offer.

Positive experience: Great gym, especially with the new renovations. Only thing is the air is so hot in here and there’s not much ventilation it feels as if you’re in a sauna.

Fantastic experience: I have been with this gym for about 2 months and it's been awesome. The new gym has been absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful and newly renovated. I have the cardio location back at its front entrance which is what I prefer and now it's more wide open and more spacious. I primarily do powerlifting so I look the central area near the back so I can focus better on my training. A+++ will recommend with my friends.
