Welcome to Fit4Less, a budget-friendly gym located in Moncton, Canada. Our facility offers a clean and spacious environment with a wide variety of equipment, including free weights and cardio machines, making it ideal for both beginners and experienced fitness enthusiasts. Many users appreciate the affordability of our gym, highlighting that it's a great place to get a workout without breaking the bank. Additionally, our supportive staff is often noted for being friendly and helpful.
However, we are aware of several areas that need improvement. Some members have reported frustrations due to a number of machines being out of service for extended periods. The maintenance of equipment has been a recurring concern, with many users expressing disappointment over broken machines that remain unfixed for months. In addition, there have been complaints regarding customer service, with some staff interactions described as rude or dismissive.
Despite these challenges, many members still find value in their experience at Fit4Less. We are committed to improving our services and hope to provide an even better workout environment for our community.

Negative experience: Terrible!! Went yesterday to have a look. The young woman hesitantly showed me around. Told her I would come back to join for 2 months only. Went back the today to be told by another employee that they can't register me, I need to do that on machine by door. I was not informed of this yesterday so wasted time and gas today as they do not accept credit card unless for full year and I did not have banking info with me. Will find another gym with helpful staff and easy access to join.

Negative experience: They are doing all these useless renovations in the gym while all the machines are always broken down(leg extension, peck deck, lat pulldowns, treadmills) they have maitenance in progress signs on the equipment but its been there for weeks now. This is very disapointing and frustrating when this is what you pay for...

Negative experience: They recently made this black card fitness area which takes up 2/3 of the weight section in the back - the best part of the gym. Now it’s restricted to only black card members. The rest of the back weight section is super crowded now with machines because of this change. The lockers have so many locks on them even when only a few people are there. The bathrooms are dirty. Garbages for the paper towels for machine sanitation are always full. The fans on the treadmills/stairclimber etc are disgustingly dirty. I keep the fan off so the dirt air doesn’t blow into my face. To top it off, many of their machines are constantly broken. It makes 0 sense that the black card only works if you take turns with who you’re sharing with. They should allow the partner to go at the same time. If they allowed the two people sharing to go at the same time, I would consider getting the black card.

Negative experience: Absolutely Unacceptable. The entrance card reader isn't working and people are waiting outside. Leaving paying members waiting outside with no one available to answer calls. Most of the machines inside have been broken for months, and now we can't even get into the gym. Do better!

Negative experience: The staff doesn't take matters seriously, the manager will not call you back when they say they will and they'll charge you ridiculous amounts. Save your money and buy home equiptment.

Negative experience: This is the worst gym. I didnt think a gym could be that bad. So many machines are broken/unusable. I've been going for two months. Some machines were out of service two months ago. THEY STILL ARE. I would prefer to pay more but to have acces to some decent equipment. I DO NOT recommend!

Negative experience: Been a fitforless member for about a decade starting in Toronto. Been to multiple locations and the Moncton location is cringe worthy. I didn’t count all the equipment but I would say between 5-10% of the equipment is perpetually out of service. There is also multiple out of service pieces without signs on them. A bunch of the change room locks are broken. They don’t enforce the outdoor shoe policy and people walk in with outdoor shoes right past employees. It’s frustrating finding a locker, there is 10 people in the gym but more than half the lockers have locks on them. They should just go cut them all off and empty them overnight when there is nobody in the gym. I’ve gone to use equipment and had other members stop me because the pin for the bench won’t hold the bench and under load the bench slips while you have weights in the air. I stopped timing my workouts on the weekends to be there when staff arrived to use the perks of my black membership because they were always late. And we can’t forget sanitation. There has been something white caked on one of the machines for weeks and it’s not been cleaned. There has been the same ratty pair of shoes in a change room all week. The men’s washroom looks like a warzone on the weekend. And I will end it on seat cushions. A large number of the seat cushions are damaged, cracked and large pieces missing on the equipment that is in service.

Positive experience: There's a few reasons why this places isn't what it used to be. First there used to be an employee who would make fun of overweight women. Pretty sure she got fired. Always always the same machines broken down for months. But what really turned me off is when you guys asked for not 1 but 2 vaccines. That's when I left and never returned. Anyways I'm gonna give it one more try. If I'm not content il join an other gym. There's plenty in Moncton.

Negative experience: Criminals. Husband hasn’t been to the gym in 2 years and has been trying to cancel for 6 months but the staff simply do not pick up the phone. They replied to his review saying they’d help him if he messaged their social but that was a blatant lie. DO NOT GET A MEMBERSHIP HERE THEY WILL NOT LET YOU CANCEL.

Positive experience: Too many broken machines. There used to be a lot of working machines but not any more. Disappointing.
Negative experience: Impossible to cancel membership this company is CRIMINAL try and call and they don’t even pick up the phone… tried to cancel my membership for 6 months not getting through to anyone and then they still take out 2 more payments. Never again will I sign up for a membership from these absolute crooks. (Edit: WHAT Fit4less? I messaged you and you ghosted me, this company is messed up first screwing me out of hundreds of dollars and now telling lies that you can help. Fantastic experience: I own a construction company and we travel to Moncton from time to time for work . We are only in town for a week or so when we come . I wanted to say that the gym was great , everything you need is there , and most of all in dealing with Mike , great guy to speak with and great customer service . Negative experience: Le service clientèle est une HORREUR. Maintenant deux mois que mon abonnement est terminé et ils continuent de me prélever aux deux semaines, et ont eu le culot de me renouveller l'abonnement. Quand je les appels ils me raccrochent au nez. Ils ne répondent pas aux emails. Impossible de parler à quelqu'un en français. Quand on me répond on me dit que le manager va me rappeler et ce dernier ne me rappel jamais !!! C'est un scandale et du vol !

Negative experience: Love the gym, but extreme miss because I thought I lost my card so I paid for a new one, and soon as I paid I found my card in my bag in front of the employee Zack. He wouldn’t issue me a refund, and told me that I could see the manager the next day. But he wouldn’t leave a note or anything with my name for the manager to understand the situation that I found my card right in front of the employee the second after I paid. Very rude employee and insensitive. Just wanted to go home since it was time for him to be off, and didn’t care about me at all. So unprofessional!!!!!

Positive experience: Good bi-weekly price, but the machines are always broken. It gets packed during the evening for a couple of hours. You get what you pay for. Their Black Card membership might be worth it if you're looking to use the amenities. You can bring a friend or share your membership card with them. Well located, so if your expectations are not to bougie, I'd say it's a pretty good deal for an In-Out workout.

Negative experience: Not maintained. Lots of machine are always on maintenance and not fixing them on time.
Negative experience: A no frills gym with great prices, but would be nice if they maintained the equipment. There always seems to be a lot of the machines, the cardio/treadmills in particular that are out of order for months at a time or that sound like they're on their last leg which don't get repaired in a timely manner. I know this is a economy membership, but at the very least, the equipment should be functional, which is why I'm rating it 2 stars instead of 4 or 5.
Negative experience: Worst gym ever equipment always broken some leg machines have been down over 4 months right now 2 peck deck down, 1 seated leg press ,1leg extention, 2 leg curls , 1 seated calves raises and more most are just cables why can't they just cut cables so machines would not be down so long .

Positive experience: This gym could be quite good if it had any working equipment. More than half of the treadmills have maintenance signs on them and the remaining half are barely clinging to life. It appears that their business model does not allow for quick repairs. EDIT: A week after posting my original 1-star review, most of the treadmills have been repaired. Although, several had been out of order for months prior.

Negative experience: Compared to other Fit4less, this place is dirty and not very well maintained. Some machines need updating and repairs. There’s also a homeless guy sleeping in the entrance in the very early morning.

Negative experience: Most of their equipment is broken. Most of the time, the gym is too busy to get to anything anyways. Gone to the bathroom many times to find groups of guys taking videos of each other with tripods. Many times i've gone in to see some jacked guy being followed around by some skinny guy with a cammera. Some greasy stuff going on there. They dont seem to care. I guess that's why it's called fit 4 less. Also, they jacked the price up in the last year up from 230$ a year to over 300$ a year. No thank you.
Negative experience: Been going for 2 years now. The last few months they havent been fixing any of their equipment. They have 15 treadmills, half of which are actually plugged in and of those maybe 3 work well. Incredibly busy at times

Negative experience: I started using this gym shortly after it opened as like many I wanted to save money while getting in a decent workout. It was great for the first while. Sure it didn't have equipment I would use at more traditional gyms but I always found a way to manage. I would have gave this gym 4 stars before problems began. The gym has been going downhill the last year unfortunately. A lot of equipment now is broken and has been so for several months. It's understandable these machines fail and time is needed but after a few months that grace period I would give is kind of gone. The leg extension machine has been broken almost 9 months!! On top of this the cost of membership has increased. In all honesty I wouldn't mind this if the equipment got fixed and they increased it to pay off whatever labor and part fees was needed to get the gym back up to par. Except this hasn't happened with my increase at all. It's a shame since this gym was great before these problems. I would go to a Goodlife fitness if it wasn't so expensive. Edit: Changing my 3 star to a 2 star. I am an original member and literally no equipment has been added. It takes longer then ever before to fix equipment with the leg extension being broken over a year now. The gym doesn't even look clean these days.
Negative experience: Can i go no star?? Trash gym . they make it so complicated and they try to trick you in putting more money. Not worth signing up. Went to sign up and it said to only pay12$ today , then at the end (after 15 minutes of finding a void check) i had to pay the full amount and then more so it 71$ .. excuse me ? Trash gym. Do not go here ! Go to any other gym than this piece of trash pf a gym. Pathetic . Oh and also a DAY pass is 20$ !!!!!! 20$ for one day .....
Negative experience: Glute kickback machine has been broken since June. I've asked multiple times for repairs and was told that there are no available people to come in and fix it. It has been broken for over 4 months, how unbelievable!!! I strongly do not recommend this gym.
Positive experience: I go because it's inexpensive. But there are pieces of equipment that have been broken since last year which I feel is unacceptable. It's pretty clean - no frills. You get what you pay for - not good, not bad.

You can see in the pictures some equipments out of service with not even a advise. leg extension, leg curl, deltoid raise and a bunch of treadmills.

Positive experience: Large location with lots of machines, free weights and cardio equipment. They also have hydro massage tables, tanning area and showers. Plenty of parking and Atlantic Superstore next door.

Negative experience: Just got the membership showed up to try and get my card kiosk apparently didn't even register that it was trying to scan so first impression of this place isn't starting out well at all I thankfully haven't had much for interactions with staff but their weight area is usually overcrowded and barely enough room to work out. Each time I've gone it's hard to find equipment I need to do my workout that doesn't have a line up with it.

Fantastic experience: Clean equipment. No trainers around to bug you. Seeing women workout in peace. Plenty if machine and benches. Friendly staff. I would recommend. Free parking. Prices are great too.
Negative experience: A Month of gym memberships is going to clost me about 300 here after missing one payment... plus idk why these guys will charge you NSF fees like there a financial institution or something. There is also no way to buy anything other then 2 weeks at a time to avoid NSF fees it seems like this crooked company relies on there NSF fees with is double a monthly fee.

I'm moved here in September and I've noticed staff late 5 times and 3 of those I left after waiting 45 minutes. I was in the military for 21 years and never late...hire reliable folks...I can't imagine life outside the military is that crazy especially in a gym where you serve as a bouncer basically..get paid to check id's...it ain't hard lol

Fantastic experience: Staff 10/10, cleanliness 10/10, equipment 8/10. All in all will recommend this gym for anyone novice or advanced lifter. Personally the only thing I can recommend is adding more squat racks instead of the smith machines. Love the staff they are always helpful and understanding. Gym is always kept clean and hygienic.
Positive experience: When machine breaks it takes for ever to fix. They have 2 leg extensions, both out of service for months! They made me get a second membership somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: Good gym, I only do treadmill and they have 5 functional for the moment (many blocked because of covid), Ive never gotten there to see that all 5 were taken. All in all satisfied
Positive experience: I can't complain. The gym is well run overall. I had one poor interaction with one of the front desk people which left a bad taste in my mouth but otherwise the remaining staff were nice. Gym is clean.
Negative experience: I have to say I had some bad experience dealing with this lady that I was told was the manager of two or three locations and I’ve seen her being rude with other customers calling them out in front of everyone else when you see on the wall “we do not judge anybody” or “ judgement free zone “ or something like that ! she’s certainly not following the Business model set out by her company.... if you are reading this comment I would suggest that you take the customer a side and talk with them privately, compassion goes a long way...

Negative experience: This corporation operates the way all gyms do today.Take ,take take.This gym has stolen over 400 dollars from me.It is almost impossible to put a stop -payment on your membership.I did ,Twice! They still find a way to take $25 dollars from me every month. It's a scam. Check with your bank if you leave this gym. Nobody can tell me why or who took my money. I'm a VETERAN ! and if they'll take from me they will take from you.
Negative experience: I'm not one to leave to reviews, but this needed to be said . This place has the rudest customer service I've ever seen.The people working there are not nice people, and give such an attitude when you ask questions. It isn't clean there either! I also can't fathom the fact the we have to wear a mask WHILE working out . I %100 get having to wear one walking around and cleaning the machines, but wearing one while you're running on the treadmill ? That's pathetic, the machines are all 6 feet apart... just cancelled my membership and got one at planet fitness Safe to say I wouldn't recommend this gym and thankfully at planet fitness I don't have to wear a mask WHILE running/doing exercises because it can cause serious health issues.

Negative experience: Literally a bunch of kid that don’t care, if you’re looking for a serious place don’t go here machines don’t work well plus rude staff and you have a time limit to do your workout definitely not fun and safe if you want to take your time and they don’t say that when you go there to apply for a membership!
Negative experience: Tried calling to cancel a membership. The person at the reception had no patience what so ever and was really rude when we asked for a french service. She said 'Well you could of said that sooner". This person isn't fit to be in customer service and needs to learn that there are people with disabilities in the community that are trying to be part of society. This person had no patience for a disable person and very judgemental.
Fantastic experience: A lot of equipment; well spaced for users to maintain a 6' distance during this period of COVID. The equipment is very well maintained. Everything is very clean. The Hydromassage bed is wonderful to use after an exercise program.

Negative experience: Filthy, broken equipment, overcrowded by immature, careless members. Members are allowed to sneak in all their friends without being reprimanded.
