Negative experience: Rude disrespect female staff members ! The gym also smells bad. No new machines. I just went there because its close to where I live. This gym cased me so many issues. I told the manager she didn't try to solve anything she kept saying sorry sorry sorry sorry! I was changed 40$ for missed payments and another 80$ from my bank I told them im new in the country give me some time to no! I said change me on my other card now. They said no.. The females staff members working here like canada are pure misandry. Fit4less says contact them via on Facebook but after you out the effort and explain everything they read the message and ingore you. I am paying now the same in Planet fitness 1000 times cleaner better equipment nice staff way bigger. Without all the negative stuff from fit4less. This company will eventually go bankrupt of they dont make some changes so !

Positive experience: Loved it... The only complaint is that the machines are under maintenance forever.

Positive experience: Black area is really small, but usually its less crowded than other fit 4less. They have very few equipments.

Negative experience: I joined Fit4Less at Kennedy Rd. just a few months ago, and while I initially enjoyed the gym, my recent experience has been deeply disappointing. Due to some unexpected banking issues and a busy schedule, I missed a payment. I received an email notifying me that my account would be canceled, so I immediately called the location and spoke with the regional manager. She reassured me and asked when I could make the payment. I told her I could come in within the hour, and I did, paying the full amount. While I was there, I asked if I could pay for the remainder of the year to prevent future issues, but I was told that wasn’t possible and that management would need to assist me further. I also asked if I could still work out, and I was told yes. Since I usually work out at 6 am, I was advised that my sister could open the door for me at that time. I tried this a few times, but every time, the alarm went off, making me feel like a criminal just for trying to access the gym. I eventually had to adjust my workout schedule to match the hours when staff were present, which was very inconvenient. Today, I followed up again and was told my account had been canceled. To make matters worse, I was told I would need to create a new account and pay another annual fee. This is incredibly frustrating and disrespectful. I acted in good faith by making my payment immediately and was promised my account would be taken care of, but nothing was resolved. On top of these issues, I’ve noticed that the women’s bathroom facilities need more attention. The cleanliness and upkeep are lacking, which makes the overall gym experience even more frustrating. As a new member, this experience has been disheartening. Fit4Less has shown poor communication and an inability to handle even basic account updates. Instead of valuing my membership and efforts to resolve the issue, they’ve made me feel unwelcome and unappreciated.

Negative experience: I’ve been a member at this location for a long time. Recently moved to Kitchener and I’m amazed at how much more maintained the gyms there are. More machines, equipment and MUCH cleaner. I’m disgusted to come to this location when I visit Scarborough. There’s dirt and dust in places there shouldn’t be. Please do better.

Positive experience: Clean and organized than other locations.. just 1 cable crossover machine, one more would be helpful.. Black card workout area is smaller..

Negative experience: I've been a premium member at Fit4Less on Kennedy Road, paying the full membership amount plus monthly premiums, yet my experience has been frustrating due to unresolved access issues. My fob, which should provide 24/7 access, doesn't work properly, meaning I can only enter the gym when staff are present. On weekends, this becomes even more inconvenient—I've had to leave without working out on several occasions because I couldn't access the facility. While the staff has escalated the issue to the manager, no resolution has been provided. It's incredibly disappointing to pay for premium access and not receive the service promised. This is by far the worst experience I ever had with a gym and hence won't recommended anyone joining there instead it's best to opt la fitness or somewhere.

Positive experience: To Owner: Machines break but taking a while to get it fixed is another problem Please be on top of it as its a 24 hour gym and we cannot use the machines we want. It takes days or even weeks to get it looked at. The benches specially by the dumbbell area have new cushions but it is hard as a concrete and hurts the back. please do look into softer option for this. Paper towel are empty and cant use any to wipe down seats. Your AC is still blowing in the morning, vent on top of the flat barbell benches. Its too cold specially if you are doing a back row. Please look into this and your gym would function better. Thank you

Negative experience: Womens washroom is never cleaned or maintained. 2/3 of them are always clogged when I come. They need to put a garbage can by the washroom door. I have seen friends sneaking in their friends in the gym using the emergency exit. Paper towels usually empty around the gym. Some machines have been broken for months, machines are dusty. Overall gym isn't cleaned often or well maintained. There are other fit 4 less locations better than this. This is a nasty gym and I have rarely seen any staff members clean around here. A lot of smelly people come here without showering too. Nights usually packed here

Negative experience: Was at this location horrible purchased a day pass and it not print waste of your money

Fantastic experience: I was about to cancel their membership till I got to this location. The manager and her team really do a great job keeping this place clean. Washrooms clean, machines clean, floors clean. Some machines are broken but it’s ok.. they just need to put some signs on walls advising people to be clean and wear antiperspirants. Some people stink the whole place .

Fantastic experience: The gym is clean and well-maintained and the staff does an excellent job keeping the facilities hygenic, which really creates a comfortable environment for every workout.

Negative experience: Extremely mismanaged gym, no 1 - 800 number, no email to head office. All the staff working in this location, refuse any responsibility the manager has no idea what's going on. When I went to talk to the manager, she refused to listen, all she kept saying was she's sorry she's sorry she's sorry. After a couple of days my membership was cancelled, no one knows anything everyone keeps blaming the computer sustem no one even tried resolving my issue, after the manager efeb updated my system not only my issues wasnt resolved but things got even worse. I would never go this gym again I'd rather go somewhere far away with a neyyet customer service and a gym cares about their customwts. I believe a lot of staff working here racial profile customers.

Fantastic experience: I like this gym primarily because of its convenient location and proximity to my home. It's quiet, and I've never had issues with the equipment I use. However, some machines could use a bit of maintenance, and I'm sure they make enough money to cover these repairs. There's no excuse for a franchise gym like this to have broken equipment sitting around for more than a month. Also, It would also be nice if they had a staff member available 24 hours, although it's not a major issue as I'm aware that none of the gyms have this. Nonetheless, it would be a welcomed improvement to the franchise as a whole. Update: Since my first review the equipment that I had concerns about had been repaired. Also I have visited a few other locations and this one by far is better than the others, I cannot stress how much I appreciate the water refill station at this location as many of the other locations doesn't even have that. The entrance hall of this location looks cool, love the mirrors. Great for a quick selfie when leaving. I also love how all of the dumbbells are always in the proper locations. It goes to show that not only the staff cares about the upkeep but the the members do as well. And this is what makes a gym great. So 5 stars from me!

Fantastic experience: I checked out this gym a few months ago for comparison, and when I returned last week, it was noticeably cleaner and tidier. The staff were super friendly, and the equipment looked well taken care of. I even got to chat with Kim, the manager, who was really nice and answered all my questions about memberships. It was a great place to exercise.

Negative experience: I have been to other locations of fit 4 less . But today i wanted to upgrade my membership as this gym is near to my home . I went there and the lady at desk (Ariel ) was so rude . I had a query regarding plan so i asked her but she was not listening to me she was looking here and there . I mean there is no point of staff to be in gym if you are not helpful to customers . I had really bad experience today . We were 3 people and we cancelled our membership on the spot . Will prefer other locations where staff treat customers properly.

Positive experience: I love the location it’s not too far and what I loved the most was the showers. Individual showers that one can use and change in. But they’re only on when someone is working. Tell me why no one is working at 12 o’clock in the afternoon on a weekday. So no showers no massage chairs nothing.

Negative experience: Most of the staff are chill, but thieves are everywhere. I had my stuff stolen twice. After asking the CEO of this location for help, her response was that one day they might return your stuff back to the front desk... They also have cameras everywhere as “decoration.” Because when you ask them to check it. They will tell you to call the police. I guess their cameras are operated by the police department. What a joke.

Positive experience: Stuff not always at the front desk. The remote control of massage chair limited working. Most of people use the equipment for texting and stuff doesn’t care.

Negative experience: Gym is well organised, but I’ll say management is useless and lazy . They just charge fees from members but don’t want to spend a penny on repairs and maintenance. I’m coming to this location from almost 2 years and any equipment that gets broke or is out of service stays same for 4-6 weeks . Every Time we compromise and they just take us for granted . For staff 5stars for management 0 stars .

Negative experience: Most of the treadmills doesnt work. Gym is always over crowded. Washrooms are most of the time dirty, soaps and sanitizers are barely filled. Sometimes smells nasty. People enter without membership cards and no one takes care of it.

Positive experience: Pros - Loved it for most part. Clean. Free parking, WiFi, water, showers. Cons - As per F4L rule, some of the equipment was out of commission. Dint see decline bench press or stair master. but has a lot of equipment Unfortunately only the weight training area has mirrors, rest of the gym is just bare walls.

Negative experience: It's not clean people get into the gym free late at night when they are no staff is there and some people put they stuff anywhere in the gym

Negative experience: I’ve been coming to this gym for almost 6 months now. The lady who works in the reception/desk at this gym during the afternoons is very rude and she acts so weird that even if you ask for help she tells you to wait and she shows up if she chose to. She’s like this for a long time. Certainly the management needs to do something for that. Coz this behaviour is not a good sign of customer service or welcoming at all.

Negative experience: The lady host who works in the morning is disrespectful and not paying attention to questions,I asked about the new membership and she wont even answering properly and moving forward with cleaning the machines. I think the staff need to educate customer service if it is possible. The same lady staff was working when i moved here from bridelwood mall location, I asked about changing the location and she dont even know how to change the location in the system (this information provided by bridelwood fit4less staff) and she told me to go back to my old location to change. Guys iam telling this is the worst location interms of service, But working out is okay, slight busy in comparison.

Negative experience: The staff lady on November 6,2023 morning shift, is so rude and has no sense of costumer service. She’s not accommodating the customers’ inquiries and needs.

Negative experience: Worst customer service ever by the lady really rude person, no etiquette how to speak with their customers whosoever is in the club on October 31, 2023. Around 12:39 pm No getting my refund back its been more than 2 months and over the call they are saying we do not know what to do. Just the worst person with the worst club ever.

Positive experience: Gym is over all good but due to its location is super busy. I try to avoid going between 5-8pm because lot of people around and you have to wait a lot for equipment or machines. Good for beginners, only have 4 massage chair which remains busy most of the time. If you are local, will prefer you to not take premium membership. Other wise gym is clean and staff is helping.

Negative experience: Fit4Less is literally the cheapest gym Option. Gotta have that “you get what you pay for” mentality but it seems like this location also has this mentality too which is wrong! I have been enrolled here for over 5 years. This Fit4Less does not like to repair broken machinery, they have tooo many people subscribed to this location as it is always overcrowded (line ups for the machines, small variety of machines, smells terrible and heat is aggressive with no ventilation and the only fan that is there is turned off around 10 PM (not sure why).

Negative experience: Staff is never in the front. I waited more than half hour just to get access for massage chair but nobody came in the front gym was empty hardly 4-5 people Thursday morning. Staff shouldn't be that busy or they should give some sort of buzzer at front desk. Same thing happen multiple time.

Usually in evening the staff go the staff room near to reception area and lock the door And then users have to wait but the staff don’t show up I personally waited half hour so that I can use hydro massage Maybe the employee slept and after half hour he came out and only then I was able to use the hydro massage

Fantastic experience: Been going to this gym for years now. Honestly, if you just want a barebones place to work out with no distractions, no fluff, at a price that you really wouldn't mind leaving your account every month - this is the place to go. Occasionally some machines will go under repair for a couple of weeks at a time, but you are really getting your money's worth. Anybody who is focused on working out can find this gym very beneficial - it's a great example that staying fit doesn't have to be expensive.

Positive experience: Best times to go is around 1-5am, least crowded!

Negative experience: Extremely lazy staff, came here to activate a membership, after trying to scan a QR code for 15 minutes we figure we’d use there Intercom…..after pressing that for 9 times I finally decide to call the location, I could actually hear the phone ringing in the office. After someone answers she won’t even come out to front to assist she proceeds to tell me that it’s pretty self explanatory & that the scanner doesn’t work. Very poor customer service. I guess thats what you get at fit4less “less service” don’t ever come here

Fantastic experience: Neat and clean gym. Occupancy is 150 people. Lots of equipment including treadmills, step-up, and arc trainers. Separate workout area with card operated entry for black card holders.

Negative experience: It’s hard to workout here, because it’s in a basement there is no air circulation or windows, so the smell sometimes stays there’s and lingers. There are times I walk in and walk out. There’s no flow here, you have to walk past everyone, to the back change, everything is shared, no one’s at the front or never staff there. Other people might like it though.

Fantastic experience: I really like this fit 4 less. AC was on and there was a fan in each room. Dope! Thought it would be much smaller. Pleasantly surprised.

Negative experience: With Fit4Less you get what you pay for. If you don’t mind a gym that cuts corners, it has the basics for a good workout. It gets pretty crowded here on weekday evenings and there’s not enough equipment. Phone reception is poor as it’s in a basement. The general level cleanliness and tidiness sometimes leaves a lot to be desired. The main pro is that it is very cheap. But if you can afford it, I would go to GoodLife or elsewhere.

Positive experience: I found this location till now is the best among all Fit4less I have been too. Enough equipments, special area for black card holders, which was new to me. I visited 1 time there. Only thing the washroom was smelling bad n wasn’t clean, soap dispenser were broken and it was on the floor.

Negative experience: I am a black card member at FIt4Less . I have used several locations of fit4less . All locations are very near to each other in terms of equipments available and cleanliness except for this one . In terms of cleanliness the washrooms are dirty . They hardly clean up the machines and the hair that piles up around them . I will be really happy if they can get their acts together .

Negative experience: I tried to cancel my membership 4 months ago and they haven't done it, charges keep coming to an account I don't use and they have overdrawn me many times paying a lot of money for a service I don't use, worst of all, they don't have customer service or where to can file a formal complaint to recover damages

Positive experience: I went to this location for the first time last week to resolve an issue I was having with my card. I recieved such great customer service from a lady named Ariel. I was trying to resolve it with the Markham and Lawrence location (my original location) but the guy at the front desk would of rather me cancel my membership (after being left frustrated) than to actually have worked with me to resolve the issue. I called this location (Kennedy) thinking it was customer service and Ariel listened so attentively and then instantly went into solution mode. She helped me resolve the issue quickly. I hope she sees this review, Ariel if you do see this thank you so much for your help you went above and beyond the call of duty. I gave 4 stars because I believe Fit4less should have a customer service department or else we the customers are left to deal with staff who sometimes don't care enough to help customers out.

Negative experience: They keep the place Dirty and it's pathetic that they don't even clean the water fountain

Negative experience: Worst gym ever. If the gym is 24*7 then why dnt you have staff 24*7.. No shower excess after staff hours ...People work out after staff hours too , we need to take shower.. No wifi.. Worst gym in Canada.

Negative experience: ~~IN DEPTH REVIEW~~ The gym isn't terrible, but it has some serious flaws which is why after going here for 5 years, I will be switching gyms. Pros: - Affordable - Has most of the equipment a beginner needs (1-2 years of powerlifting/bodybuilding) Cons: - Machines are often broken: for example... ~the cable machine has been broken for months. When it wasn't broken the weights on each side were uneven ~Leg extension broke as I was using it (cable snapped) ~There's a 15 lb weight that weighs 10 lbs. IDK why it's still in the gym after 6 months. Literally one of the members drew a 10 on it. ~Pec fly machine chair just randomly fell while I was using it ~Leg curl machine randomly unlocks the part that holds your legs down ~Adduction Abduction machine was broken for months, its fixed now. ~One of the smith machines/squat cages moves diagonally (it shouldn't do that I could keep going about the broken equipment, but I think you get the point. - At night time/after staffed hours there's a group of 20 guy friends (not exaggerating, literally 20) that sneak in almost every night together. Most of them don't even come to workout but rather just run around the (already small) gym yelling. My friends who work here tell me that management knows about this but doesn't do anything about it. Pretty sure they are the reason things have been going missing from the gym. - The BO is unbearable. I've been to some pretty funky gyms but possibly because it is in a basement the smell is similar to the fermented armpits of a dying person. - Paper towel is often missing from the wiping stations after staff hours (although it seems like this has recently been resolved) - the gym space is tiny. In this tiny space about half of it is just cardio machines that barely get used. I'm a personal trainer so I go to a lot of gyms and this is the smallest gym I have ever seen. TLDR; (too long don't read) The gym isn't terrible, but it comes pretty close to it. P.S. the LA fitness down the street has lots of issues too, probably even worse. I'll be taking my business to Goodlife. If you can't afford it, just go to a different fit4less location or to a planet fitness.

Positive experience: This is a great gym to exercise with friends or family. There are plenty of machines and free weights. But it becomes very crowded during the weekdays especially during 3 pm - 7 pm. Go any time on the weekends if you like to avoid the crowds and after 8pm on weekdays.

Negative experience: No professionalism at all , no customer service…I stood outside their rotating entrance for half an hour but no staff came to provide access, no one is picking call and no one is responding to bell!

Negative experience: 1. No mirrors are available outside where all machines are. 2. Too many people especially in the evening, you will not get any machine empty. 3. Too much hot inside where the main weight is available. Sometimes it's hard to breathe inside. Too much, humidity, suffocation, and hot.

Positive experience: Membership is affordable. A few of the treadmills makes squeaky sounds. Needs servicing. What i dislike which is no fault of the gym is folks hygiene especially the back section where most of the excercise machines are. Folks sweats are intolerable and smelly. Need air refresher or something to easy the pressures of my noise. Sorry but I had to mention.

Positive experience: This fit4less is good I gave 4stars because it’s my first gym . The 1st I tried. It’s so clean but a little small so most of the time you can wait for machines. And Yh not so many girls anymore. It’s not balanced too many guys. But the location is good. People are friendly.
