Positive experience: I use this place for the cardio machines and the squash/racquetball courts. It is quite good. State of the art. The change room is super clean and well designed. Definitely worth considering.

Negative experience: Main washroom for men have no urinals. only stalls. it's a disgusting mess. men need urinals. I can just imagine the cleaning staff what they think.

Positive experience: the rinks are okay

Negative experience: Considering the price of the facility you'd expect less neurotic policies. If you forget your card they will chase you inside the fitness center and track you down asking where your card is and telling you to check in. If you need any special requests or anything that needs to go through upper management, expect a 1-6 week wait. By the way your special request will likely be rejected. They do not like to adjust or make changes. City of Vaughan is nice but super restrictive and this community center really proves that. Make things more accessible.

Fantastic experience: Garnet Williams community centre is amazing! They recently completed renovations inside and it’s beautiful. They are currently redoing their parking lot. The facilities are very clean. I feel like the parking could be improved on the side closest to the gym. Lots of empty space where there could be more spots. Inside the gym there is a little locker at the front that is free to use, you can put your phone, keys, or wallet there (anything small) to lock up and secure while you work out. This is amazing because you don’t need to bring a lock with you and it’s right there in the front. I highly recommend you check out that mini locker as it’s so convenient.

Negative experience: After three years or more, renovations are still not done. A comment really on our municipal government than on the centre.

Fantastic experience: Just checkout this newly renovated community fitness centre. It is amazingly beautiful. All the equipments are state of the art. Right from the front desk, staff are friendly. If you live in Thornhill and still searching for a gym, this is the place to go. Just ask for Shane, a personal trainer. He’s a great guy. He’s very knowledgeable, professional, and knows how to treat people right. It doesn’t matter if you’re just starting out to work out, this is the place for you. And don’t forget to ask for Shane! He’ll make you feel at home.

Negative experience: I was very excited about the pool renovations at the Community Centre. However, it didn't meet my expectations. The pool has been designed with a resort-like appearance, which seems like a waste of space to me. I was expecting 5-6 lanes and a depth of at least 9 feet to help my kids improve their swimming skills. They have only 2 shower area and no change room in female pool change room. This place doesn't seem suitable for serious swimmers; it appears to be intended more for leisurely swims like those at resorts.

Fantastic experience: Indoor pool just opened today after a year long renovation. Clean, neat, modern and designed well. Enjoyable experience. They have only two lanes at the moment for lane swimming ... Maybe they still have to unpack the new pool equipment? Buy your pass online to enter for lane swimming. They said they'll have a life guard on duty to sign u in.

Fantastic experience: We went to see the new gym. We are looking to join the gym. We will be joining. Good selection of machines, racquet ball and squash courts are good, gym is in great condition and the pool should be open soon

Fantastic experience: Gym has everything you need. Changerooms are really clean and functional. Finally fixed the sauna! The renovation did a good job on the entrance area. Great seating to do school work. Looking forward to using the pool once it is completed. Wish it had a snack bar.

Negative experience: I've been to this summer camp in 2019. Out of all the summer camps I've been to, this is the worst summer camp! The staff are nothing but under the age of only 13! Their rules are super duper unfair, they're super strict and yell all the time and take advantage of people paying them! They emailed my dad saying that they were gonna have a big ball hockey day and said that I needed a helmet. My dad bought the helmet for $50 and the ball hockey game was barely even 30 minutes. If you don't want your bank account beat up by the end of summer, DON'T GO TO THIS CAMP!

Fantastic experience: Love this place. I try to go when there’re less people in the gym. So I wouldn’t recommend the gym out of selfish reasons.But outside of that great place.

Negative experience: The teenage unprofessional councillors forced my child to sit on the bench for almost half of the day as punishment, and later pointed at my son in front of all children and said everyone gets frizzy other than you! When I escalated to their supervisor, they took theirs councillors' back, obviously, so I went to a higher position person. Unfortunately, she wasn't a right individual! She knew how to offend and intimate me by one stepping back while I was showing my frustration by moving my hands and complaining about the situation why my kid should half hard time instead of fun. she, with a fake smile wanted to show me that she can call security if I go further!

Positive experience: The location is currently under renovation. However, upon entry, it's not obvious that you're entering a construction zone, and I applaud that.

Negative experience: I used to go the swimming classes here a few years ago and it was bad. the swimming coaches were very rude and didn’t care if you were scared, although I only went from level 1-4 the level 1&2 coaches were very nice and friendly. whenever you weren’t doing something properly the coaches would get mad at you instead of trying to help you fix it and I would be very upset all the time, the reason I didn’t quit earlier is because my parents didn’t let me but I cried until they let me quit. wouldn’t recommend anyone bring their kids here at all.

Fantastic experience: This is an amazing community center. It has a skating rink, a swimming pool, ping pong table, basketball court, a whole gym, and more here! The skating rink is mostly the reason to why I go here a lot, because it's cheap (3$), and very big. They also have a skating rink outside the building at the back that's open 24/7. During summer you can roller skate there. At the back of the building there is also a huge park.

Fantastic experience: This place is great! The Aquafit classes are extremely good, the gym is busy, but contains all the necessary equipment and trainers to be valuable to customers. There are two choices of swimming changing rooms, members use the superior ones with cubicle showers, better toilets, hairdryers and more space, but even if you just want to visit once, there are still decent changing rooms available - just less facilities. There is a variety of classes from 'easy yoga' to high intensity and spinning - really, something for everyone. Well worth a visit.

Fantastic experience: I was at the garden Williams center for an outdoor concert in the park and it rained and they moved it indoors which was very nice and they have seating for everyone and they really tried their best to accommodate people which is a great effort on behalf of the garden William center.

Positive experience: I haven't spoken to much staff but the one I did talk to was very accommodating and kind to us. The outdoor rink is great but a lot of young adults and kids play hockey aggressively and it makes it difficult for new skaters to have a good time and a bigger area to skate. When it's a lot less busy and less hockey players, its great! The indoor rink is pretty pleasant as well!

Negative experience: Almost every single camp counselor has starbucks items in their hands, and an Iphone in the other. Extremely sassy attitudes, and they don't care about the children and know that even if they don't do anything but be rude, they'll still be paid their regular minimum wage salary. Others can scream, are too competitive and will try their best to find something that you are doing wrong. I hate it, I hate it, I hate it.

Negative experience: The only good thing about this centre is the deck supervisor Taylor D. She is attentive to the needs of each patron and Is also a super aquatic instructor. Ask For her for your aqua fit and Instructing needs . Your children will definitely learn with her . She is the one person you want to teach your children . If your lucky , you may get her for aquatic summer camp too !
