Fantastic experience: I love the friendly faces at the front counter. They make it much easier to come in and work out. Especially Sarah, she always has a friendly greeting and a huge smile. As well, she works her ass off to make that place shine. Also, I want to give out a huge shout out too Ashley, since coming back from matleaf, that places never look better. From getting the equipment fixed and making sure the place is clean. Thank you for all your hard work. Both of you. You two are much appreciated.

Negative experience: an employee here, Carrie, if very unfriendly. i have had a few very unpleasant interactions with her. i hope she knows she works in customer service and that is not the way that customer service is done.

Negative experience: First time in my life I wanted to go to gym. So I went there, the female employee at the register was really annoyed, because I was just looking around. What’s up with the attitude? Why is she so mad at me just because I stand in the hall? Made me rethink going to gym.

Negative experience: wow just wow!!! All summer and now fall! Its +20 outside in October +35 in PF so i called front desk and was told fans are broken and they don't turn the AC on in the fall or winter... Biggest joke of a gym. Wasn't like this when it first opened. I've complained all summer about temp indoors. This is a health & safety issue. People are quitting just because of this issue! WHERE is head office? Regina is thee worst of all the gyms!

Negative experience: The workers don’t seem like they know what they’re doing. I tried to make a membership here and they kept messing up my information. After telling me to download their planet fitness app so I could sign in, both workers messed up the information and the app didn’t work “invalid sign in”. This process took over a half hour to complete and at the end, the app still didn’t work. The next day I come back, in my mind I know this isn’t the gym for me so I try to cancel my membership. The workers tell me they don’t know how to and to wait until Monday when a manager comes in. My question is, do the workers receive proper training in these gyms? Why don’t they know what they’re doing? I don’t think I’ll be going to a planet fitness again after this experience lmfao. It probably was a huge miscommunication error between me and the two workers, but regardless I won’t be going back to a this gym.

Negative experience: Terrible services, they did not refund my money just because of lack of communication that happening in their system and keep blaming other staff who did not do their job. Had awful experience using their facilities. It’s better to spend a bit more in other fitness services and enjoy your time there.

Negative experience: If you aren't open 24 hours then membership prices shouldn't be the same as the 24/7 planet fitness! This is ridiculous! How does this schedule work with everyone's schedule!!???

Negative experience: it’s so bad! Lock was picked in the locker room and cash was stolen. Reported it to the General Manager , but he did nothing changes about security and management!Inaction only serves to encourage criminal behaviour !

Negative experience: The stench in that gym will curl your toes. The only water machine has been down for the 3 months I went to this location, 3/4 of the equipment there is cardio and the other machines/dumbbells are always over crowded.

Negative experience: It's very dirty inside Nobody removes shoes from outside , and staff don't control them Just make a rule : Don't change your shoes - don't come inside Always busy, only 50% of all machines work Toilets always "out of service " (men)

Positive experience: I did a drop in guest, 5 am. Pretty quick process, not many people at 5 am. The equipment was relatively clean, some.of the treadmills needed service, running was an issue with some that would stick. After trying a few i found some that were ok. I think it's a heavily used place so kind of expected, but maintenance is definitely required. I gave it 4 stars only because the drinks I purchased were 2x regular price in any other store. Lots of equipment, clean and staff was helpful. This is going to be my new gym when I'm in the city working for sure. Their membership prices are also good, wish we had one in our community. Try them out and feel great!

Negative experience: I don't know why they hire people that clearly don’t know how to speak to people to work at the customer service desk. I cancelled my membership with them over a year ago and found out I was still getting charged. I went in to cancel again today and was talking to a gentleman and explaining that I had cancelled over a year ago. I explicitly stated I wasn't mad at them because it is not their fault and didn't care about the money and just wanted to know what might have happened. When a much older lady jumps in and starts talking to me on how “I am an adult and it is my responsibility to check my bank records”. First of all, no one asked, and secondly most people aren’t checking their daily bank transactions. I went it to the gym to cancel and trusted their representative who told me it was cancelled since that is his job. Clearly they need to rethink who they are hiring to work “customer service”.

Positive experience: I loved the feel of no intimidation, so many diffetent body types and personalities. I wasn't embarrassed to go and use the weights, even though I have no muscles lol. Second, the price is incredible, you cannot go wrong with a membership here.

Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience at Planet Fitness recently. I lost my gold ring while working out, and when I approached the staff for help, I was met with rudeness and indifference. A staff member named Saiman( not sure about name , he is white guy with a beard) was particularly unhelpful and behaved very rudely, making the situation even more stressful. Fortunately, the manager, Sayid, stepped in today and provided excellent assistance. He was understanding and proactive in helping me find my ring, which I truly appreciated. While Sayid's professionalism and kindness were commendable, the overall negative experience with Saiman left a bad impression. I hope Planet Fitness addresses this issue with their staff, as customer service is crucial, especially in situations like this.

Positive experience: I love my black card membership for all the perks. I begin my time at Planet Fitness with red light therapy/vibrational trainer and then a tanning session. I use the exercise equipment and then finish it off with a hydrobed massage. It really is my self care time. The only thing I would change is that I wish it was open later on weekends. Great monthly membership pricing.

Fantastic experience: It's been a year since i've joined PF and it's a good opportunity for me to commend on what I've learnt. There are varieties of equipments and good parking spaces. Staffs are so friendly and accomodating.There are enough lockers that you can put on your belongings. Kudos to the management and the whole team.I highly recommend PF for the new fitness enthusiasts as well as for those who want to have a new fitness center experience.

Negative experience: Gym is very busy all time , hard to find equipment and water dispenser i am seeing from 2-3 months broken , they have just one unit of water dispenser and not working properly people have to wait like 30-40 minutes just to fill one bottle of water, overall very pure service.

Positive experience: Just signed up as a member this month after joining as a guest previously. PF has a good selection of equipment, so isn’t difficult to structure a good workout that combines strength and cardio training. There are some gaps though. Some machines have constant lineups (smith machines, row machine, leg press), while others are rarely used. Why not adjust the equipment to reduce lineups? Repairs often take months to complete: I.e. stair master (2 of 3 machines out of service with constant line-ups), water fountain broken for months. Positives are that the PF app works well to assist in selecting a less busy time to visit and avoid waiting. Generally, a good workout experience.

Negative experience: Clean those locker rooms, they smell and look dirty. Also just because someone gets up to stretch doesn’t mean you can have the machine. Like so rude to take it when it’s still being used. People need to be taught proper gym etiquette. Perhaps maybe signs or emails should be sent to members. So ignorant members can learn and not stay that way.

Positive experience: I’ve been working out at planet fitness for a few months now and mostly enjoying it, twice though i have had an unpleasant interaction with the staff when bringing my friend in. Twice her account has been owing and both times they have waited to inform her until we are both through the check in and in the change room, and the first time the employee pulled her down from the treadmill in the middle of our work out. I just feel it’s a bit unpleasant to have a staff member pull you away in front of everyone in the change room and then on the treadmill in the middle of a work out, rather then having the staff be on top of noticing accounts owing money prior to even entering the change room. I understand it happens and things are overlooked at check in, but twice it’s been uncomfortable and this second time we didn’t even work out we just left because we didn’t even feel welcome.

Fantastic experience: I like how spacious it is. Keeps me from feeling nervous about invading someone's space. I like how there are multiple machines of the same type available. I like how certain areas are portioned off (360, express, stretching). I like how the employees didn't make it such a big deal when I signed up (if they do this it makes me nervous and I feel a lot of pressure) and how simple it was to sign up online. The price is extremely fair. I also enjoy how simple it is to bring a guest as a black card member. I only mention positives about this gym when it comes up in conversations.

Negative experience: the moment I stepped in this gym, I treated with bad vibes, feel like I'm unwanted in this gym at the front desk from Simon, he did not want to let me enter the gym without photo ID, which I normally not carrying with me to gym or shopping purposes, once this issue for him ,we sort it out and I completed my session, I have my black membership and asked access to tanning, but he declined it because I do not have any goggles, or I can buy it from him, he stated "its the law, look it up!" I never had anyone told me this before, anywhere else in North America! as I'm traveling the 2 neighbour countries daily. I'm disappointed of the way I was treated here and concerning that I would not be welcomed here again, if I'm passing by I will not planning to stop here, btw the floors are dirty and there are lots of dust and dust cats with hairs around the machines, restrooms are filthy, water fountain filter is not meeting my expectations plus 500ml bottle takes a long time to fill. the worst Management I experienced so far when it comes to PF

Negative experience: The planet fitness east regina need to change the employee, the person name SIMON, behaving so rude and showing attitude to the customers, the way he is behaving is not acceptable at all, we go to gym to get relax and workout, not to get worst customer services, its my request to management to take strict action so that someone else cant face same problem or loosing customers, even he mentioned that he will cancel the membership , he had lot of power in his hand, Like really asking him to turn the massage machines he threatning to the customers. Negative experience: The gym is inexpensive, and has most of the things you'll need for a decent workout. Still, it is fairly dirty overall, machinery is old and needs to be replaced, hours aren't very good (though they used to be), and there isn't enough strength training equipment. It takes a lot of time for equipment to actually get fixed, and more smith machines/folding benches are needed. Having equipment like a pendulum squat or a hack squat machine would be nice as well. The gym is incredibly busy all the time, so it's hard to get what you need in the order you need it - this isn't necessarily the gym's fault, but better hours could help solve some of the congestion. Every few months a survey is emailed to me asking whether I'd recommend this gym to a friend. The one time I filled out the survey (indicating these same problems), management responded with a somewhat condescending email that made excuses for these shortcomings instead of trying to find ways to address them.

Negative experience: I have been a member at Planet Fitness for 6.5 Years and I go 6 times a week. I have watched this gym go from a great affordable place to workout to a rundown facility in need of desperate repair. For starters I want to say that the staff has been nothing but nice to me when I enter the facility and in terms of dealing with payment. I see some negative comments about Simon I have never had an issue with Simon and he always greets me when I come in. As for the other staff they are all friendly and do a great job. In terms of cleanliness of the facility it is in need of a deep clean. For starters take a look at the roof and main vents they are caked in dirt. Anything staff can’t reach on foot has not been cleaned just look around next time your there. The men’s bathroom vent has never been cleaned in 6.5 years I’ve watched it accumulated dirt over that time. The sinks and toilets are average for a gym and the showers are alright. The handles to turn on the shower are so loose however trying to get it to stay warm is a hassle. Anything that can be cleaned on foot without a ladder is fairly clean I will say that. Staff cleans regularly just not anything that needs a ladder. The water bottle refilling station fills so slow the filter must be clogged. I wonder how often that is cleaned? Overall, 2.5/5 for cleanliness. Equipment is all original nothing has been replaced and it shows. Treadmills are beat to sin look at the belts on most of them just worn down to nothing. Also, a majority of them are uneven so it really hinders running. Not to mention good 10 of them are always down. There has been 2 Stairmasters down for over a year at the minimum. All the other cardio equipment is worn as well just need new equipment. Free-weight area is fine could use more folding benches and new benches but the weights are fine. Weight machines are worn I don’t even use them anymore because of how warn they are. The equipment overall is a 2.5/5 This gym has gone extremely downhill since new ownership took over and its time for a change. I understand it’s a cheap gym but that’s no excuse for the current state of this Plant Fitness. For anyone looking at a gym if you can afford more go elsewhere. If this is all you can afford like most of us then just prepare to be disappointed with the facility as a whole.

Positive experience: Update: I forgot to mention that the hours for this gym are absolutely ridiculous. Closed at 7pm on weekends?! I may start looking into other gyms. Started my membership beginning of January. I really liked it at first but have noticed some things that are a bummer. My first issue was with the tanning beds. I gave him the time I wanted in the bed (5 minutes). I had felt I was in there for quite sometime and had looked at the time and it was at 8 minutes! I got burnt pretty bad the following few days. I have stopped tanning because I was noticing my skin being an uneven colour. The 30 minute hit is great but I notice people randomly coming in and using a certain machine and you then leaving which is not the point of that area, little annoying. They have 4 stair masters that have always had 2 out of order and now it’s 3! So they have only one working stair master, that is ridiculous. Other than that, it’s been ok. You get what you pay for I guess.

Negative experience: Worst Planet location I’ve been to by far. Worked out for months in Crocs then was suddenly no longer allowed to. Paper towel dispensers to wipe down equipment are constantly empty. Change rooms are always dirty/ bathroom facilities out of order. Mediocre equipment. Staff are unfriendly at best and often times rude. Better to spend your money at a real gym.

Negative experience: I have been going here for years and it's fell off a cliff. Everything is run down. I understand it's cheap for a reason, but: Currently: Men's Locker Room -All 4 men's bathrooms are non functional (picture attached). -1 of 3 men's motion sensored sinks functions but barely drains - the vents by the men's showers are caked so full of dust and grime I would bet there is mold and no ventilation. - You are lucky to get hot water if more than 1 shower is in use or has been going in the last 15 minutes. Gym Equipment: - 1 of 4 stair machines has been properly functioning for the last 2-3 years. They claim 2 are currently working but its just a matter of time before someone break their ankle because their foot fell through the 4 cracked steps on one of the "working machines". An employee told me they are "looking into it" aka doing nothing I am sure. - there is more than 10 treadmills out of order at a given time. - I will add in most cases they do fix the weight machines in a timely manner (couple weeks). I understand things stop working and that's normal course for a gym, this review is more about the lack of initiative to fix machines/facility and maintain equipment in a timely manner. It's getting so bad they have ran out of out of order signs.. Most machinery has maintenance instruction that is quite frequent, if I had to bet this has not been followed since the gym has opened.

Negative experience: The worst customer service I have ever dealt with. And it seems to be on the Regina location as I have talked directly with other branches and their head office and they even questioned things that were happening. Will be telling everyone I know to not step foot in this place.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to planet fitness for over 3 years. I’m an early morning gym member. I know it’s been hard to staff the early morning shift with anyone who has energy but the weekend early morning crew is the best. Sarah and Morgan make the gym a great place to be. They remember your name, they are completely engaged with the members, and they make you glad you dragged your butt out of bed to come to the gym. I wish you could clone them and have them working every day on the opening shift. Sarah and Morgan should be training the rest of the staff on how to treat the members.

Negative experience: Walked in the gym wanting to sign my fiancé up. He’s here visiting but still wants to keep up his gym routine. I inquire at the gym because where’s the best place to get clarification Obviously at the gym. The guy in the front says the prices are online . Uhmm somebody comes to you needing clarification you don’t even hear them out you just say go online. What kind of customer service is that! I watched the guy deal with others too. For example a next person came in and he went through the plans with a paper but we got go online! Now my fiancé is new to Canada he doesn’t have a cell number or data because he’s staying for a short time! The guy asked for a phone number so I started answering with mine because again my fiancé doesn’t have one! Dude going to stop me saying no it’s his number . No shxt Sherlock if he had a number why would I have given mine after I already explained that he’s new??!! The sign up process was so off putting, I legit just wanted to leave dude’s attitude trash legit trash . At one point I was just wondering if he’s a ‘raycyst Ahole or just a straight up Ahole’. I only stayed because I know my fiancé needed a gym but I should have checked other places instead. Since that awful front desk guy my fiancé says his work out has been fine that’s why I won’t give them 1 star . If my fiancé ever visits again im not bringing him to this place.

Negative experience: Signed my daughter up for a membership. The staff were not helpful nor friendly. I had questions and they were dismissive in answering them the manager a fellow with a large beard was a jerk. I asked for a card of whoever was the top manager or owner of the gym. Said they didn’t have one. So far not a good experience. For a place that advertises no judgement the staff, 3 of them I interacted with not friendly.

Negative experience: Staff is very rude aggressive demeaning and non welcoming. I have had a terrible experience since I have signed up having them mess up my sign up procedure, contract, and payments which then resulted in them blaming and overcharging me for these mistakes. Resulting from these treatments I have not wanted to attend or speak to the staff feeling insulted and uncomfortable from their treatment. The manager is very rude and seems unfit to deal with customers respectfully, and the employees lack training. I and others that I have tried to bring to the gym have had signed permission forms (with parents signatures)and then later been told they don’t exist multiple times denying us entry until we come with a adult creating a frustrating process ultimately preventing us from working out.

Negative experience: If I could I would give management and the facility a - 3 stars. This experience is absolutely excruciating. I spoke with a “fill in manager” over the phone about cancelling my membership as I’ve had to move to a new country The man I spoke to name was Simon. He was extremely unhelpful, and quick to be dismissive of my plea to cancel my membership and informed me that I cannot cancel my membership over the phone, or by email or fax. He gave me 3 outrageous options— 1) appear in person or membership cannot be canceled. ( IVE MOVED TO TEXAS) 2) send a mail “request” to cancel my membership( I’ve moved to Texas) 3)send a family member into the fitness centre to cancel with a hand written note from myself…my mother who is my only family located in Regina has MS and cannot physically make her way into the facility. I expressed that I would greatly like to cancel this membership as work relocated me to Texas— I was informed before signing this contract that there was a no obligation cancellation policy. This is NOT FACTUAL INFORMATION. They now demand that the only option I have is for me to pay for express mail that will include a hand written note that says I choose to cancel my membership and send it to the Regina location.—- Even though I’ve made the suggestive plea that I fax or email a scanned written letter to them… this was not an respectable option in the eyes of the gym. If I choose to send my cancelation note by mail to the club house in Regina —This will take 2 weeks for them to receive, and charge me another months worth of fees. ZERO EXCEPTIONS were made in regards to my extenuating circumstances. Not only was management beyond unhelpful, he was rude and quick to tell me that nothing else can be done. ZERO customer service. Basically told me I’m out of options. The fact that I now have to book a flight back Regina to cancel my gym membership is preposterous. I am pregnant and so unpleased with how this whole gym membership cancellation has gone. IF YOU MOVE ON THE DROP OF A HAT MAKE SURE YOU CANCEL YOUR GYM MEMBERSHIP IN PERSON BEFORE YOU MOVE. This gyms policy is absolutely outrageous, I will NEVER return to planet fitness this is a huge headache. I’m VERY disappointed that the gym could not help come to a more logical conclusion of canceling this gym membership.

Positive experience: It's cheap for a reason, but still I would expect more for the amount of members PF has. I've been coming here for years now on and off for various reasons. I'm trying to get back into things and when I've gone right after work and a couple of hours after, its still quite busy. The gym needs more of the single type machines, as they always have someone on them, and there just isn't enough room to just stretch away from others. I know you can check how busy it is at peak times but the reality is, you go when it works for you- with work and your schedule. I would hope PF can take that into account and become a 24/7 gym and open a second location. This would allow people to have more access and be able to use the machines they come for. There are plenty of ellipticals and treadmills, but I come for the single machines and based on how busy those machines always are, it seems like many do too. Today, I left frustrated as I wasn't able to get several machines to do my planned workout and there wasn't enough space to stretch because of how packed it was just before 7 pm. I'm also noticing a lot of the machines are getting squeaky and run down. Honestly considering biting the bullet and seeking out a gym in the North end.

Negative experience: Getting pretty frustrated making the effort to get there on time when the staff can't show up properly. It opens at 5. Staff shouldn't be showing up at 5 to open. This has been a regular occurance for months.

Negative experience: Busy place, equipment is getting run down since my last visit in september 2022. A few of the weight machines are only singles, so you have to wait to use them. I am visiting from Saskatoon, I worked out 3 days at this location, not once was I welcomed by the staff or acknowledged when I left. The Saskatoon locations are way friendlier than this place.

Positive experience: If you want to use wi-fi do NOT sign up here. Unusable 90% if the time. Notify staff and they will tell you it will be fixed. 3 years into this now. Rest of gym is fine. Update. As of February 2024, it appears the wi-fi has been fixed!

Negative experience: I really liked the facilities and the staff. The biggest issue though was when it came to cancelling a membership. I spoke with someone regarding cancelling the membership and they told me I had to come in and cancel it in person. I was cancelling the membership because the gym was too far away from my house that would make sense to drive there daily. I cancelled the membership before the end of the month and was told there would be no other charges. The next day I was charged an annual fee and kept being told 'too bad'. Edit: Changed from a 2 star to a 1 star due to their response.

Negative experience: A money grab business. They'll sell you a lock for 10 dollars and cut it at the end of the night if you forget it. They can remember to do that but won't clean their showers or lockers for a week or more. There have been band aids and clumps of hair on the walls in the ladies showers and the lockers have had empty tic tac containers and shoe tracks for weeks. The machines also need to be serviced and a few are in subpar working conditions. The lay down tanning beds will burn you in different areas after each use as well. For the amount of people that are members of this gym it's pretty awful. The front staff have been awesome but I have yet to see a personal trainer in there since April. Thumbs down and hunting for a new gym once my annual is up.

Positive experience: I joined planet fitness due to having a surgery that I was only aloud to lift less than 4kg. It was a safe alternative due to the machines as free weights could cause issues. It's a good begginer gym no doubt, good to join with your spouse due to the black membership allowing you to bring a guest. Due to their business model though they have very few free weights (dumbbells barbells). They only have smith machines which again are good for beginner lifters. All in all a great place they listened to my concerns about the shoe area and fixed that which was nice to see. If they got more free weights and squat cages this would be an excellent place to go.

Negative experience: Decent gym, but the machines people want to use are always full and have line ups, while the rest of the gym is full of equipment nobody touches. It’s frustrating the hours are continually getting cut as a huge part of wanting to go here was the convenience of a 24/7 gym. What gym closes at 9pm on a Friday and 7pm on a Saturday? The only benefit of the black card is being able to bring a guest considering half the other “amenities” are broken or there’s a wicked wait list. There’s so many things they could do to make the gym better if they listened to their members but that’ll never happen. Not worth paying more than 10$ a month.

Negative experience: Everything was great until I need to get transferred . So May 4th, I asked the staff to get me transferred and I was instructed to wait for their manager as they do not know how to do it. So, I waited an hour. I came back and talked to their manager, Simon . I explained that I want to be transferred. I was the impression that he can do it . I watched him grabbed and restarted the ipad and maybe tried to connect to their Wi-Fi. After 30 minutes of waiting, he told me that he could not do it. He said that I have to go to my new gym in Saskatoon and to get transferred and do it online. It was frustrating that I was instructed by Saskatoon location to do the same thing. I asked for a reference somewhere in the Planet Website and I was astonished that the manager could not provide the reference.

Negative experience: I really wish they would go back to pre-pandemic hours. This place used to stay open till 2 am. Other PF’s in other cities are open 24 hours.. and we get till 7 pm on the weekend. Seriously considering switching gyms solely because the hours are extremely inconvenient. Negative experience: Very upsetting when a male staff member comes in while i was showering and my Gf and another lady was changin! Call and spoke to the " Manager" And was very rude telling me i didnt read signs!! I was in there before anyone else !!! And also this is the second time it has happened. No signs to say male in there nothing didnt even say he was coming in just walked in !!!

I was told that my account is going to collections after trying to cancel my account and letting the problem get worse. If they told me when signing up that my account could possibly go to collections and ruin my credit, I would not have signed up. As they said, "life happens." Wow!

Negative experience: Worst gym I been to so far, cheap quality equipment and weights don't go up high at all to ever get any results, ok gym for beginners but lots of judgmental sighns and posters all over the gym that make you feel uncomfortable, the only attractive thing is the price point but you get what you pay for

Fantastic experience: #1: The equipment is excellent, and it offers a variety of workout regimes that can work for people of different levels of experience.#2: The staff are very professional and friendly#3: The facility is very clean#4: It is inexpensive but still offers the same options as more expensive fitness facilities#5 Everyone welcome.

Positive experience: Price per month is the best in the city... for the number of machines and equipment they have ... the massage chairs, hydro beds (when they're working), UV treatment, and tanning beds are included! Only down side is people where their outside shoes in making the floors for staff to maintain harder .... and the entrance is always wet and dirty for months at a time - usually businesses even small ones get mats vacuumed, shampooed or changed out to keep it clean .... and lockers werent cleaned out for over a week ... but i think from this last visit they're finally starting to slowly improve that since they've been losing a lot customers lately ... so give them a chance! Try it out!! Plus with the black card you can bring someone with you every time for free!!

Positive experience: It's cheap and great for beginners, the tanning and massage chairs are a pretty sweet bonus for 25 bucks a month. Remember, you get what you pay for. Overall good value for the fees.
