Negative experience: I lost my TapID and i tried getting another one. The guy said i am charging you $30 just to get another one even though they deduct payments B-weekly.

Negative experience: When people wake up out of there bed at 3am to workout I'm not going to the gym to stand 30min out side if my card scanner and the door didn't open. When you taking My money you just take it one right so this is bullshit because I'm so Mad.. if you let bad people in you going to bad attitude. Why we have to go through shit for someone else behavior?? If this is how it going then you need to start acting like next gym open at 7am then.

Negative experience: It was unpleasant from the moment I walked in. From non educated staff to the environment smelling poorly. It was not a good experience. I personally enjoy the gym later at night but considering this was my FIRST time stepping into this building after buying a pass online, went at a normal time.I can without a doubt say I WOULD NEVER go there in late evening. I will be cancelling my pass first thing tomorrow. You get what you pay for in this circumstance.

Negative experience: One of the worst gyms in Edmonton! The place is absolutely filthy, with no effort to maintain cleanliness or hygiene. The staff are incredibly rude and disrespectful, showing zero regard for customers. To make things worse, they’re deceitful in their dealings, making promises they don’t keep and hiding extra charges. If you value your time, money, and health, avoid this gym at all costs!

Negative experience: Some staff are arrogant. I went in and scanned through to pay for my gf for drop in cause I did that last time at front desk and the guy said it was okay. As soon as I came through a girl came quickly at me and my girlfriend and instead of letting me say I’m trying to pay there to do drop in she got mad and treated me not very well and was unkind and rude to tell me about the kiosk. When the kiosk was being used. I didn’t want to wait while people are getting stuck because the doors don’t work for scanning all the time but mine did. 2/3 row machines don’t even work and there is no place to fill up a water bottle either. You get excessive calcium deposits through that water. My water wasn’t clear at all. The staff also sat in the back room the whole time I was working out.

Fantastic experience: This gym is everything you need for a solid workout. I looked at LA fitness and Good4life, and the prices alone were outrageous. My wife and I switch off on who goes to the gym while the other stays with the kids, and the black membership is perfect for that, and it's only $28 per month. Has all the freeweights, benches, squat racks, and every other machine needed for a solid workout. I didn't see anything about classes offered there, but I don't see the point in a class if you already have a routine to follow.

Negative experience: Dirty gym, things aren’t cleaned regularly leading to build up of bacteria. I wasted my money going here. Portion of the gym is cut off and only accessible with a black card. No new equipment has been added to the non black card area for years. When machines are broken they take weeks to fix. Overall a very poor gym 1/10

Fantastic experience: I really enjoy this gym, the fact that it is priced very appropriately really brings out the stars, but what really shoots the stars is the 24/7 open time. Being able to gym whenever feasible in your schedule is crucial.

Don is always saying how he loves his job and that right there shows the atmosphere of the gym! Working out boosts my energy and when I feel good energy walking in, I know my day is going to be awesome! Thank you Don!!!

Positive experience: Every place is so crowded nowadays. It's hard to give a 5 star review when there's always a wait for equipment. But the place is clean and well run

Fantastic experience: Awesome gym. I thought they were going to remove some equipment to force the new membership option, instead they added more, and I think they even added an AC system for the functional area.

Negative experience: Just a heads up, they are adding a black card only workout area. And when I say adding, I mean they are blocking off a fifth of the gym that was previously open to everyone, including half the machines I use. Effectively a price increase... Also, yearly "cleaning fee" of 50 bucks so you don't cancel membership.

Fantastic experience: Great club, clean, cheapest in town, cheaper than a tanning membership at a tanning salon, and you get the gym as a bonus ;)

Positive experience: it was a but crowded with machines and people especially at the time I came and what I am usually used to at my normal gym. Otherwise it was good but definitely need AC or more fans as it was scorching/sweaty inside.

Negative experience: No issues with gym but one staff member. The best way to say is the girl with bit darker skin. I am not judging with skin colour or being racially biased but this is the best way to tell. She was nice at the beginning but then I don’t what triggered her about me she always give me weird looks and every time I cross her I give smile to her to avoid that weirdness but she never smiles back although she make it more awkward by giving weird look. I was here with someone on free workout day and upon asking she let the person with me in to join me but kept that weird look and attitude with me to show as if i’m doing something wrong. I don’t know sometimes I feel to cancel my membership because I want to workout without any uncomfortable feeling and looks from an associate. Except her every one is nice from the staff.

Negative experience: Perhaps take a minute & put in a bit of effort to actually respond to your customer feedback rather than relying on the condescending canned google responses. Pathetic & disrespectful.

Negative experience: The lady at the desk was rude and arrogant for no good reason. No manners at all, and she could wipe the snotty look off her face if she’s going to work in customer service. As I was leaving another lady joined her at the desk, and was acting very unprofessional. Swearing about who knows what. Unfortunate to see ladies act like that to, and in front of potential customers.

Negative experience: I paid for a blackcard subcription for 1 year at 1 Londonderry Mall NW, Edmonton, AB T5C 3C8. But l have never understood why, coz regular membership its the same! Please improve on your services!!!

Negative experience: Their staff member really arrogant, they should learn customer service I don’t know all of them but there is one who attend phone calls.

Negative experience: Im a member of your gym for the past 10 months, and I have truly enjoyed my time here. However, I was disappointed to receive an email last week stating that you were unable to process my membership fee. I check my account and i found that i stopped by mistake the auto payment. I promptly contacted the club to rectify the issue,I even visited the club on the same day and settled the outstanding amount. Unfortunately, I was informed that I would be charged an additional $25 due to the missed payment. I was surprised by this, especially since I corrected the error the same day it occurred. It seems unfair to penalize me for a simple human error. After being told that this was the gym policy, I have decided to cancel my membership. Additionally, I have informed 4 friends who are also members of the club, and they will be canceling their memberships.

Negative experience: I canceled my membership, and they continued to take money.

Stay away from Londonderry if you can as the staff don't care and it shows in the condition of the facility and rhe services offered. I've been a member since 2019 and Londonderry has consistently been the worst. Do better.

Negative experience: My husband and I have 2 memberships at fit4less, one black card and white card. They make the cards exactly the same and because of this we accidentally mixed them up. Due to this they didn’t let me into the gym. I’ll be cancelling both our memberships. Unfortunately we are out over $120 because of there sign up fees. I can’t believe that even with all the information I have to verify that we have both memberships it was this ridiculous. I’ll be going to a reputable gym from now on.

Positive experience: Hello, I have been a member of this sports club for more than 6 months. I was involved in a situation with one of the employees there, and I want to speak to the manager about what happened to me.

Fantastic experience: This is the wonderful pace to do my workout Price is worthy, wider collection of machines, cardio, but some of the machines should be improved by management instead of Black card. That’s my suggestion such a leg machines. But overall larger amount of people can me accommodate in one time every place, please add one more gym to Namao area

Negative experience: After the staff leave this place is anarchy. 5-6 guys entering with 2 memberships, zero people bringing gym shoes, tracking sleet, slush, salt and dirt all over the place. Bit of a joke for people who actually pay. You’d do yourself a service by reviewing security cam footage in the mornings, and cross referencing the people stealing from here with the people tapping their card to have 3 guys enter, and revoking the membership of that person. Its frustrating,

Fantastic experience: I came in on Wednesday and the staff was AMAZING and FRIENDLY! The gym was so CLEAN! My new favourite FIT4LESS in Edmonton!

Negative experience: Please!!! Add more dumbbells. Up to 100lbs would be great! Edit: Thank you for adding 100lbs dumbbells. Please add preacher curl machine.

Positive experience: Went back to fit4less after trying other gyms due to convenience and opening hours. As a shift worker it is a convenient place to workout. Feel safe and secure even at 2am. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Positive experience: First time being member, the rate is affordable but there are few things I think they should improve on. I switched from Planet Fitness SherwoodPark, for distance. This Fit4 Less location is good. Enough equipments, some broken machines need repair but no one notices and put sign. I had to get the front desk attention next day to put signs. No water station in the entire gym, sucks. Washroom is congested and lockers are not that big. No exhaust fans or ceiling fans to keep the air flow, pretty dry and warm all the time.

Fantastic experience: Recently joined this gym and have nothing but great things to say! The staff are pleasant and friendly. The equipment is always clean. A clean relaxing environment. I really love the massage chairs :)

Positive experience: For the bi-weekly fee, you can't go wrong and expect too much. It has enough free weights and cardio machines and decent equipment to use. It gets a little busy in the evening, but again, for the fee, that's understandable.

Positive experience: As some one new to the area but not new to a gym, I'd say this is an absolutely solid choice in the area. I've been to the big chains and the budget chains but this one is perfectly in between. The amenities to cost front is decent, there so many machines, you won't ever really run into an issue outside of peak hours. I noticed the atmosphere is rather dull but blasting your own music you can have a pretty great music and leave with a pretty great vibe.

Fantastic experience: All the equipment I need at a great monthly, can't ask for more.

Negative experience: Don’t bother with the black card if you work a normal 9-5 job, and even when the front is supposed to be staffed, they’re not… so you can’t use the massage chairs or tanning beds.

Positive experience: I have an issue when lockers are provided and a certain individual decides she has the right to put her gym bag on a treadmill keeping others from using it. Yes there are other treadmills available, thr point is if wr all decided to keep our shoes, gym bags on equipment we would look like a depot for clothes.

Fantastic experience: Nice people, good equipment! First time at this location. Definitely has a lot more equipment and space.

Positive experience: Get what you pay for. Been going here for 6 months. Staff don't seem too excited to be there but place is always clean and not too busy. Has all the equipment you could need and good variety. Some people need to calm themselves on the grunting and remember to wipe equipment. But that's hardly a criticism on the gym itself.

Negative experience: Not the best. One day I counted 12 machines out of order. Not always the cleanest. No water fill stations so you have to fill in the bathroom. When I first joined, the machine wouldn’t read my card, so I had to pay $21 to do a drop in workout. They said the next day it would be refunded but I still haven’t received the $21 back (been almost a month). Last straw for me was I showed up this morning and some type of alarm was going off and after I talked to another member, seemed to be going off for some time and no one was concerned or leaving??? Cancelling my membership tomorrow.

Positive experience: this place could really be busy some day but the mgr and the staffs are so nice!

Positive experience: Upon arriving and trying to get my card at the kiosk it wouldn't scan my phone. I tried everything. Finally it managed to scan after ten minutes of Messing with it. There never staff on site when you need them. I left my shoes in my car today went back to grab them and realized you can't scan yourself in twice. You have to wait half an hour to try again. I only had so much time to be there. So I wasted my day driving to the gym to workout because I couldn't even get in. At least one staff member for the entire gym after work hours and weekends would be helpful for situations like this. Or Allow your Paying members to come in and out as needed. Ridiculous. No water fountains. You also can't use the massage chairs during non staffed hours so there's a catch to that. It's really unecessarily difficult.

Fantastic experience: The manager, Lana, is so wonderful. Lana is so friendly and welcoming to everyone who enters the building. Lana makes personal connections with all of the guests and you can tell how hard of a worker she is. This gym is always spotless due to Lanas high work ethic and positive direction for her employees. Lana is personally the best manager i have ever seen, she goes above and beyond for her job and you can tell shes takes a lot of pride in her work, making this place so wonderful to be at and workout at. This lady deserves a raise!!!

Fantastic experience: I am incredibly thrilled with this gym. Every single one of the staff is so friendly and I love coming here. I am still pretty new but I don't feel like I don't belong or shouldn't be there.

Negative experience: Worst gym I ever went to 3-4 machines I wanted to use were broken. No water fountains, everything is cramped together and it was packed. Of course you get what you pay for but I was still suprised at how low quality.

Negative experience: Theft alert On oct 19 at 9:40 pm they broke my lock and stole all my stuff,walet,phone,car keys,everything,and they are shown on camera's, dnt sign at this gym,no enough staff,imagine anyone can buy guest pass,n come in the gym,break into ur locker and steal your stuff,and imagine the locker was cross from the management office,and infront of everyone,cz the lockers are infront the training Salle,and the management didnt call the cops in the same sec,till the manager came 3rd day to give the videos to the cops, so for them to save money by not having enough staff,it cost me thousands of $,stay away from this gym,worst experience ever in my life

Negative experience: I have been trying contact Lana or whoever to cancel membership. I have sent multiple emails with no reply. I'm ready to contact my bank to stop or block payments as we are paying continously for something we don't use.

Positive experience: Very convenient, 24hr service, clean location & Friendly helpful staff. Amazing prices. Start up fee is 50 dollars plus the first payment of 7.99. Then, 7.99 every 2 weeks. However, it takes FOEVER to repair broken equipment. There are 2 abduction machines, both have been down for 3 weeks.....

Fantastic experience: Been going here recently for the last couple weeks, so far i'm very happy with it people mostly seem polite and non-judgemental. Staff is friendly however please can you install some water fountains that is my only complaint.

Positive experience: It's a great gym I'm an introvert mostly so I just go there to work out I've received no judgement and the people seem kind when I don't have such an intense look on my face LoL..I can get pretty busy though other than that 4 stars.!!

Positive experience: I would encourage management to have a chat with their two most-elderly staff members about being quick to reprimand gym-goers. In one instance, I paused for about 5 seconds while walking about the gym and was chastised for walking without a mask, and yet, all around the gym are people breathing heavily during their workouts (conceivably carrying a higher risk of pathogen transmission). Again, I was paused for just a few seconds. and this is in contrast to the large volume (and majority) of patrons working out without a mask throughout the course of any given day. Makes for a very unpleasant experience and creates an unwelcome environment. I get it, you have a job, and the gym has rules, but maybe set a limit for yourself of 30-60 seconds, after-which you may consider approaching the person, and even then, don't just blurt out the rules, but rather, (softly) say something like "excuse me, I noticed you're not wearing your mask at the moment. I'm not sure if you're aware of it, but we actually have a rule right now where..." In another instance, shortly after entering, I was scolded for walking in with outdoor shoes. I understand that your frustration in trying to keep the gym clean, but it's rather insulting to be accused of something where you had your back turned / attention occupied by something else when I was actually taking the time to be considerate by drying off and removing as much snow, water, and rocks from my shoes on your fancy floor mats (an excellent purchase by the gym, by the way). These two staff members would benefit from some form of education wherein they learn the soft skills required to tactfully manage situations they perceive to be a problem involving gym members. Otherwise, this gym is great. Only recommendation is to consider investing in plate-loaded hip thrust machines. I think you'd find that if you had them, there would be lineups because so many people are looking for a solid way of isolating their glutes (the glute kickback machine invariably incorporates quads, and only works one leg at a time). I believe this would be a great investment for your location. I think this is a great gym, and I'm thankful we have a Fit4Less location on the Northside. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Negative experience: This review is for the Londonderry location in Edmonton. One of the employees (Tyler or Taylor) very rudely refused for me to enter the gym because I was not wearing a mask that day. I always do wear a mask however that day I did not have one on me. I asked politely if they provided masks and his response was very unprofessional and said we do not provide masks and it is your responsibility to provide your own. After a few days I have seen the same person providing a mask to a female. I asked other employees there and they also assured that they provide masks. The other staff are all professional and polite. The equipment are acceptable but not alot of options.

Negative experience: DO NOT buy the black card membership, which gives you 24 hours access. NONE of the Fit4Less locations are open 24 hours, so you are giving them money for NOTHING. All the other 24 hour clubs are actually open 24 hours. This is a complete rip off. I paid for 24 hour access (Black Card) and have never been able to stay longer than 10pm, which is when they close.

Positive experience: Pretty awesome place to work out. However I'd not recommend going between 7 to 9pm as there are youth there that may be ignorant. But put the head phones on and ignore that is what I did.

Positive experience: Morgan's comments are out of line. The gym is constantly being cleaned by a cleaning crew, and all the equipment is in great shape. Now, certain members do not clean equipment after use, but that's why it's important to clean your own equipment before and after use. The staff are all more than willing to help, but some are more experienced than others. Great gym for the price you pay.
