Negative experience: This location is way too small. They tried to squeeze in too much equipment, sacrificing walking space, and even breathing space. People are forced to work out very close to each other. The locker room has a neat concept with a bench type area directly in front of the lockers but it forces you to reach further which is a bit awkward. Showers and washroom area is not clean and stinks.
Negative experience: It would be great if people wiped their machines off here and it didn't smell like B.O. actually I have never smelled so much B.O from a group of people whom seem to do nothing but stand by or sit on machines and never andnor barley use them... love it

Negative experience: I recently joined your gym in Woodbridge, Canada, and I want to raise a concern regarding the cancellation policy. When I joined, no one explained that cancellations require at least 7 business days’ notice. As a result, I canceled my membership one day late and was charged for an additional full month. Even at the time of cancellation, your staff did not inform me that I would still be charged for December. When I spoke to the manager, I was told that verbal communication doesn’t count and that I should have read the agreement I signed. Here are my concerns: 1. Why aren’t customers given a hard copy of the agreement when they sign it? 2. Why isn’t the agreement displayed on a larger screen for better visibility? 3. Why aren’t important rules, like the 7-day cancellation policy, clearly explained to customers at the time of joining or cancellation? I would like to understand why these policies were not properly communicated. While I understand the importance of reading agreements, it is also your responsibility to ensure that customers are aware of critical rules. Please provide clarity on this issue.

Negative experience: Tdy nov4,2024 Monday-200$ plus shoes garbaged by planet Fitness employees,i skipped weeknd and been on monday for gym as im new to PF i wasnt known about this thing, i left my Nike air max plus in the locker with lock on they broke my lock and dumped my shoes, they didnt even gave me warning paper or kept it for a week. When i ask to the (Manager Alina) at first she didnt came out when employe ask her that smbdy wnt to tlk, he said her twice then she came out, when i explained her insted of apologizing she showed me very big attitude and comunicate with me very rude way. I've lost something expensive and she behaved with me like this, Its seriously ridiclous now im thinking about should i go there again or no, thanks for this kind of behaviour and service. Please watch after your manager talking behaviour.

Negative experience: I have been going to this gym since 2019 and it was decent, but the past two years this location has gone extremely downhill. It's crowded at ALL times, not enough machines, smells horrible, and the members hog machines in a busy gym. Not enough improvements and updates to their machines.

Fantastic experience: Very good, locker room clean, employees nice. A lot of equipment and nice and respectful membeshipped people. There is one employee that really stand out and is really nice, I don’t know her name but she has black hair maybe Latina or Indian and wears grey uggs. Keep up the good work.

Negative experience: Planet fitness hwy 27 management is rude, inconsiderate and dismissive. I was charged a late fee for my membership and the manager KJ refused to reimburse the $25 dollars late charge after he confirmed that acct details were incorrect. He said if he gave me a refund he would have to give 15 other people a refund who also complained about the same thing for the month. He even confirmed I would not have received any form of communication of a payment error due to the fact that sms marketing text and email was not turned on. He is rude, disrespectful and said he will not credit or issue a refund for something that is the negligence of the customer. He also said the “system” is more accurate than what I believe to have entered and confirmed upon signing up. I have called into this location many times before regarding credit card charges and no one on his team could inform me of the reasoning my credit card is being charged instead of my debit, they just confirmed it was annual fee and monthly subscription payment. Is it not a red flag if a client calls in inquiring about a credit card charge, should employees at the desk providing customer service not know the charge should be on the debit account not credit card? But according to the manager KJ the customer should know this as a member regardless if they are new, and it is not his employees job to let people know of an account error when they call in to inquire about a credit card charge. He did not take accountability for his poor management style with his employees who are responsible for providing customer service and account information accurately to clients that call in or show up in person. Do not sign up with planet fitness, especially this location in Woodbridge they have poor customer service and the gym is not the cleanest either. It isn’t about the reimbursement of the $25 credit anymore it’s the lack of customer service that I have a problem with and how he chose to handle the situation. I will be going above and beyond because you should not be robbing people like this and telling them it is only their fault. Take accountability as well and provide customer service.

Negative experience: There is one staff at reception named (Rupam). Me and my sister went over there just now to have the workout. I accept that we have the membership on someone’s other name but we are added as the guest in that membership. I just want to say that his behaviour to us is not good. He behaves like a attitudy man. He does not know how to talk with girls. Like he is the staff over there, his responsibilities is to guide the people in a mannered way. But he behaves like he is the owner of the gym. I really dont like the behaviour of that man(Rupum).

Negative experience: i talked to the workers and found out their membership deal was no longer going on, I started walking away and I am currently disabled so it’s really hard for me to walk normally and i looked in my rear and saw them laughing at me. Horrible place and horrible staff

Negative experience: I Have never seen this kind of gym in my life We cannot bring gym bags to gym how can we keep our stuff without bags.. we can’t do gym without shoes we cant click our photos inside the changing room when we are signing up for gym membership you guys didn’t tell us this things Do one thing make a different room so that people can click their photos I have experience all other gyms they dont have such a policy change your policy
Negative experience: The staff is so rude specially the person name Rajesh or Rakesh, he doesn’t want to help and just says okay okay okay does nothing at all. If the person from staff does want to help you at all then why is he working? Are you really in judgemental space here don’t know why this person is hired to work at planet fitness? NO customer service at all I tired 3 times putting all the details again and he was talking about us and passing his rude comments If your app doesn’t work what can customer do I wasted 30 mins just for app as it was not working and he can’t do anything or does not want to do anything are they not any ways to do anything?? I wish the manager could see the recording from cctv cameras. Just show’s attitude all the time I request that this needs to be addressed and the staff member needs to verbally apologise to my friend which caused her mental anguish and frustration because of this.

Negative experience: Worst planet fitness in terms of equipment failure and repair after. Triceps pass machine is broken for almost 2 months, none of the staff members pay attention on repair. Most of the equipments are either broken or not working

Negative experience: I would have given this place a 5 star review prior to tonight. I've been going here for a year now and up u til it's been fantastic, the personal trainers and 99% of staff are wonderful however tonight I encounter a group of 4? Teenagers who were participating in horseplay and obnoxious behaviour. They were screaming and chasing each other while playing on equipment. All of them did not need to be going into the wellness pod at the same time and they tried to take my session. So I informed the employees that they were being loud and disrespectful to other patrons and the employee stated " they have memberships" so I replied ' membership or not, respect is necessary '. The gym is not a playground. This behaviour is inappropriate and how equipment breaks. Absolutely unhappy with he coworkers disregard and rude response. This was August 27 2024 at 11:16 pm.

Fantastic experience: I train in this gym and this guy is a very warm person who helps everyone and treats the members well with a good attitude and a smile, he is none other than Rupamgood manager But There are other managers in this club who are very rude and selfish, unfortunately

Positive experience: M regular at this location since 2021. Since day one i had black Card membership but i had no extra time to use that area . Last week i asked staff members to show me around Black Card area but all three staff members were looking at each other and told me to go in there and come back if I encounter any problem. I was trying to use massage chair and hydro massage but I can’t turn in on . When i came back to reception all three were gone . This isn’t professionalism. Three stars i am leaving for night staff . For morning they deserve zero .

Negative experience: I have been here for more than a year and staffs do not know the importance of customer experience, please coach Niroshan/Nishanthan (Not sure of the name) on how to talk to customers. I cancelled my membership after 2 years because of poor customer handling and being rude. Its not about money always, it’s customer experiences that works long term. Details of what happened - I had a guest with me and the guest was not allowed to even sit in the lounge, and Niroshan literally came all the way to send us out when I had a black membership. Please take necessary action, we pay for the service and not for tolerating any rude behaviour.

Negative experience: They have a rule about no gym bags allowed in the workout area. I was carrying a small tote and was told to put it in a locker,however I noticed that others had heavier bags and nap sacks in the training area and the rule simply did not apply to them...interesting.

Negative experience: This is a very judgmental gym I have ever been. I am a mother and I have to a full day of raising my children including toddler twins.I also am recovering from a serious foot injury. When I decided to take my fitness journey serious again I joined this gym because it emphasis a "Jugment free zone" but since I started all I felt was Jugment the manager KJ and some other staff will watch me continuesly. They would approach me to harrasse me, discriminate me, judge me and bully me. The way I workout bothers them so they try to make my time there more than one occasion feel very uncomfortable I don't ,bother people. All I wanted was to get healthier keep active and do something for ME that helped relieve the tiring day and now they want to take that away because this facility took my membership because they are full of judment. A lady who also had a foot injury came up to me and told me how inspired she was by seeing me workout. I shared my foot injury journey inspired her to stay focus on healing her injuries.i feel bullied and ganged on. If you dear to do something different here just know you will be judged and they will bully you if they want you out. they only do not judge one kind of topic I looked on their Instagram and on My birthday they did a whole video document of how planetfitness is a Jugment free zone and you can come as you are well no false advertisement that slogan should be taken off your brand.

Positive experience: One of the female workers are lazy to help out. It’s my first time enrolling there today with my mother and the employee said to do it on the app ourselves as the computers are slow and not “working”; however, when I inquired yesterday in person, the other female worker was willing to enroll for us but we decided to do it tomorrow. Anyways, we had trouble enrolling as we’re not that efficient with technology and the questions. And we asked help from that female worker and she told another worker to do it for us (god bless him, he was helpful). So that female worker LIED about the computers being slow.

Cleanliness, while generally acceptable, occasionally falls short of expectations. Despite these drawbacks, the recent price increase may deter some. However, for those willing to overlook these issues, the gym still offers a decent overall experience.

Negative experience: I have been coming here for 2 years, and the recent staff changes (idk if they’re New hires or they’ve just been recently given more shifts) have been Absurd. The staff grills you when you walk in, heckles you while you’re working out, and is overall Rude. I had a staff member ask me if i could move out of a machine so he could give a new member a Tour?? He then asked if he could “work in sets” with me, and i said he coukd just have the machine. A different staff member stops me on a machine i had occupied for 5-10 minutes (which is what i Normally need for a machine while accounting rest time), no one had approached me saying they wanted the machine or how many sets i had left, but an employee came to me asking me that i “needed to be mindful” of other patrons and asked me to move. She didn’t even say it Nicely or Politely, she said it as if i’d been doing something wrong by occupying a machine for a long time when no one else had indicated they wanted the machine. I have been coming to this gym every single day for 2 years, and have Never had any issues with patrons or employees, ever. The employees used to be incredible.This past month and half it’s been constant disrespectful and unprofessional behaviour.

Fantastic experience: One of my best gym experiences everytime super clean, staff is really nice and friendly especially the manager. Negative experience: Too much Indian plus when they use the machine and don’t Sanitize after. They need staff to teach the people how to clean after them self.
Negative experience: It’s a pretty mediocre place to begin with the gym is usually very crowded most of the time. And if you want to cancel their membership, they will give you the runaround. Beware and tread carefully. I did not have a good experience with them at all.

Positive experience: Well kept equipments, regularly cleaned, but the only issue to say is that it's usually a bit crowded in the evenings from 5-9.

Negative experience: Worst service, no safety to vehicles, no safety in locker rooms, no cameras in parking lot, yesterday some broke into my car and stole my wallet and when i asked for the footage next day they said go to walmart and ask them, we dont have cameras in the parking lot. Dont come to this gym specially in the night.
We truly regret to hear this! While we do not have jurisdiction over the parking lots at any of our club locations, we certainly are saddened to hear someone would break into your vehicle. We recommend for you to reach out to the owner of the plaza, and file a police report if you have not done so already. We hope that any personal belongings of yours are safely returned.

Negative experience: My experience at Planet Fitness has been quite disappointing, especially since the new management has taken over. The atmosphere in the gym has changed for the worse, mainly due to the new "AGM" who seems to abuse her powers and treat members disrespectfully. It's disheartening to witness such behaviour from someone in a position of authority. One incident that particularly bothered me was when the new "AGM" was being rude and yelled at a long-time member of the gym, known as "Uncle" by the community. "Uncle" has been a loyal and active member of Planet Fitness for over five years. Throughout his time here, he has consistently demonstrated kindness, respect, and willingness to help others. Members of the gym, have always looked up to "Uncle" for advice and support. He has been a source of motivation and inspiration for many. To see him being treated so rudely and unjustly by the new management is truly disheartening. It not only creates an uncomfortable environment for "Uncle," but it also affects the overall gym atmosphere, making it less enjoyable for all members. I believe that the management team should be leading by example and promoting a positive and supportive environment for everyone. Instead, the new "AGM" seems to be doing the opposite, and this behavior is certainly not in line with the values that Planet Fitness claims to uphold. Every member deserves to be treated with respect and fairness, regardless of who they are or how long they have been a part of the gym. I truly hope that the management situation improves soon so that the gym can regain the positive and welcoming atmosphere it once had. Until then, my experience at Planet Fitness remains far from satisfactory.
Negative experience: I have been a loyal customer to this gym for many years and have had absolutely no problems until now. A sudden change in management has caused many members to be disturbed and the entire culture of the gym has shifted. In the past this was considered a judgement free zone however, recently the new AGM has become a tyrant. I have never seen more abuse of power from any management member in this gym. Just three days ago I was shocked to see the AGM screaming at customers and making every customer feel very uncomfortable. She specifically targeted a middle aged man for absolutely no reason at all, this member who was known by the community as Uncle was highly respected and many members sought out his advice for working out. He was kicked out and accused of bullying, despite the fact that the Uncle was known to be very respectful and seen as a role model of the planet fitness community. Overall I am quite disappointed and I hope the higher management will take action against this AGM for the future well-being of this gym.
Negative experience: Good day to all, I am not sure how to start, feeling so depressed and insulted, whatever happened to me at this gym. I am a mechanical engineer and currently working as a production manager, working out at this gym almost since the time this branch had been opened. I am 47 years old, did professional body building back home, and started working out since 1995. At planet fitness, so many staff members had been changed since the time I was working out there. I do my workout very seriously. Thsts why most of the gym members follow me and ask me about my experiences when it comes to diet plan and workout schedules. 2 weeks ago, an unplanned incident happened, which really hurt me a lot, causing depression to me. I tried my best to resolve the matter, but nothing was coming out of it. Being part of the job, front desk staff communicate with every gym member who punch in at the front desk before workout. A woman named Bae, which most of the time was at the front desk when I started my workout, caused this issue. It was a hello communications same as with other staff members at the desk. Recently, she became AGM. Last Thursday, when we entered, we had the following conversation, I said ," Congratulations, Bae, you became AGM. She replied, "Thank you." I asked her, "So how about our treat bcoz u are AGM NOW?" Again, she replied, "What about my treat ?" I said, "I need more sweet and fat to gain more muscle mass, but you don't need fat." I was thinking of chocolates and other North Indian sweets. I moved as I was in a rush to start my workout. But Bae didn't like the word FAT, which I told her, which she was thinking in a wrong way. She came to me and started yelling. I was surprised why she was yelling at me. I tried to explain to her that I only wished her good luck to be promoted as AGM. Didn't mean to say you anything bad intentionally. Number of times, I told her. Sorry for the misunderstanding, but she could not swallow the word fat. I started my workout, but she told about this to every single staff member and to her friends present at the gym. I am the man who comes to the gym only for a workout, not for any girlfriend. I have my elder son almost of Bae's age at home. I have no idea why she misunderstood me for the compliment of being AGM. So many gym members called me "Uncle." i never felt offended. I am a middle-aged man. Just focus on my workout. And I am very serious when it comes to my workout. Bae was holding her grudge,and on Monday night, she sent an email saying that my membership had been canceled. I was shocked by her behavior and doing misuse of her position. There is not a single person in the gym during evening time who has any issue with me, except 1 month ago when there was too humid at the gym and I noticed that my full sleeve t-shirt was inside outside. And I took off my T-shirt to fix it. I always wore full sleeve T-shirts at the gym, but I never did any show off because of my muscles. Now, the bottom line is why Bae canceled my membership without having any discussion with me and David( GM) around the table. There is no any official member's signature on the cancelation document. That was not the first time we (me and Bae) communicate, then why she was stretching this matter so much. Or may she was trying to get revenge by misuse of her position. I know, I was having just a basic membership at the planet fitness, but in these 5 years, I met so many good friends who had the same goal when it comes to working out. Also, I developed emotions and so many menories with planet fitness. Finally, I requested David on July 18, 2023, to resolve it, but there was no result. I didn't say her anything bad intentionally, then I don't understand why I have to suffer ? I never did or said anything bad for anyone in the gym, but it seems like Bae doesn't know how to manage things and handle pressure at work. That's why she started yelling at me. My humble request to the owner and senior members is to resolve this issue peacefully and let me be the faithful member of Planet Fitness again. Thank you Vikas

Fantastic experience: It’s not often you come across individuals that are absolutely amazing at what they do. I would really like to send a shout out to David who is based out of the Vaughan HWY 7 location. I’ve been trying for several weeks to get a few questions answered with little to no assistance from other employees. I was so lucky to get a hold of David this morning who was able to make my customer service experience one of the best. I was able to get all of my questions answered and even have a little bit of a laugh, If you’re looking to join the gym and looking for a place where the customer service is absolutely phenomenal, you need to go see David at planet fitness.

Negative experience: I am a black card member at this location and today one of the new staff was super rude. I did mention to her that she is very rude. We were not aware of the day use pass and no one explained us. My cousin who is under 19 is visiting for a week and was going to the gym with us. And was stopped today. Instead of explaining us how the things are suppose to be she was straight up rude. The manager at this location is very nice. And takes complain very seriously. So it would be nice if he looks into training new staff member some courtesy. No one wants to feel disrespected or defamed. This was at 8:15pm on Thursday 6th July.

Negative experience: Very rude staff!!!! Pls careful when dealing with this specific staff his name rakan and he is very racist and rude. I have been going to this gym with a friend using black card for a year and today he stopped us asking my friend to register so my friend was having a hard time since he didn't have a good internet. He kept us waiting for 15 min just to register. We have been coming to this gym and no one have asked my friend to register or download the app. I asked him to show me where is written that this is a requirement and he failed to show me! Other people from his ethnic background went in and he did not even look at the screen. I also asked to speak to his manager and he said she is not there and there is no one else I can speak to. I asked why other employees never asked us to register and he said they might have missed us because of amount of people who come in and this is not true. We just came the busiest time which is at 9pm June 07, 2023.

Negative experience: Cleaning issues alot... front desk is always chatting to each other not responding to members issues properly. They just pre tend to work here for hours only but doesn't work actually.. we informed so many times about the cleaning issues in leg press equipment they dont even bother. They just come to gym to flirt Their massage chair is a non workable chair at all i dont know why is locating there and the owner is not even concerned about it & most important cleaning issues.

Fantastic experience: Been with the planet fitness for a year now and i have very good experience with the staff. They are very friendly and of helping nature. Because of my work I usually use the facility between 12 am to 4am, when it is least crowded and night shift staff is good. They clean the gym while managing the desk , so sometimes we have wait but as soon as they see us they hurry back to help.

Fantastic experience: Honestly telling, i joined this gym 3 months ago. Everyone is so kind very polite staff Bhupinder the staff member help me so many times during my massage. He is always there. Apart from this another persons I don’t know the name everyone each staff member is giving his or her efforts for the memberships. Very clean gym equipment everything is very fine. Negative experience: Membership scam: You can only cancel in person or by paid registered mail and evidence that someone received and accepted your cancelation letter. If it's 'not received ' or you can't go in in person, it just keeps charging until whenever you can go in. I live in another province now, and my husband had a car accident on vacation. He couldn't go in person and called in, was told it's no problem, and someone would call him to cancel his membership. Months later, we realized they had still been charging every month. When we called regarding the charges, they then changed the story and insisted someone fly to the exact city where we signed up and cancel at that particular location or mail in a physical letter and make sure someone signs for it. Pardon me?! A $600 plane ticket or $100 secured letter?? What is this, a Visa account with TD or an application later to a university?? I'm confused. Over $300 in membership charges after you supposedly canceled it, and they still had the nerve to expect us to pay more to cancel. You're better off blocking them from your card, reporting them to your account or card holder, or changing your card number. Such a con.

Positive experience: Only good for regular membership, not upgraded. Most of the time Hydro massage chair is under maintenance.

Fantastic experience: Hey everyone i saw some wrong reviews that night shift people don’t clean properly & they don’t behave good at this gym. I use to workout around 12 to 2. It’s not true i am coming at this gym since aug 2022. People working at the night shift are the best workersat this gym. Specially bai, nicole & bhupinder they always welcome members with smile.
