Fantastic experience: I have been using this facility for more than a year now. I always go in the morning and the two staff from this period are the best! Super friendly and always cleaning and organizing the gym! The place is great, but I'd like it to have maybe a mirror in the stretching room and more spaces with mats. It would help a lot when the weight lifting area is full, which happens a lot because it's a small branch. If you can choose a time to go and have some time to wait, it's a good location. Otherwise, I suggest a bigger one, so you'll have options on busy hours. The machines are also constantly in maintenance, which would require you to have exercises for replacement as there are only one machine for each exercise basically. I usually change the day for that routine or use some replacement exercise.

Positive experience: The gym is okay but they have limited machines like leg extension and curl. Just 2 machines and many more like these which can affect workout time. I don't find black cards useful if they have no dedicated area except the massage and tanning area.
Negative experience: Some white lady at the front asked to SEE my tanning goggles, and because I didn’t want to search through my bag with my water bottle and work products, she refused my service. That’s unnecessarily unacceptable and I can understand why this location specifically has very low views. Get your shit together

Negative experience: Signed up online and went on Tuesday to get my membership card. Kiosk machine was broken so I couldn’t get my card but I was ok with it because a staff buzzed me in. Was told to come back in 3 days when the kiosk machine would be fixed. I visited today (Friday) at around 6 pm and the kiosk machine was still broken so I still couldn't get a card. I pressed the buzzer and waited for 20+ minutes but there was NO STAFF IN SIGHT. I could hear the phone ringing for several minutes after each time I press the buzzer. Someone even came up to the front to help me look for a staff but couldn’t find anyone. Another person on their way out told me no one was there. I even phoned the place 3 times and no one picked up. Awful experience.

Positive experience: Overall the gym is not bad. Clean with basic equipment that gets the job done. However my main is concern is that there is no water fountain. Yes, you read that right - no water fountain. For a gym to deny a basic human essential such as water is unfathomable to me. I will write a letter to the Ministry of Consumer and Business Services to bring this to their attention. From what I read in other reviews, the absence of water fountains is at all their gyms, not just this one.

Negative experience: This club is is often unstaffed during hours it should be staffed. Taken at 6:49 pm on a Thursday. This has happened to me 3-4 times now. Disappointing I cannot use the amenities provided with my black card during hours that are supposed to be staffed.
Fantastic experience: Patrick is absolutely amazing! Patrick was able to deliver on all my requests with precision, efficiency and with professionalism. I can see how dedicated Patrick is to his duties and responsibilities here at Fit4Less, therefore he really does deserve this commendation. Fantastic experience: Cleanest fit4less location I have been to in the GTA! All staff are friendly and knowledgable. This location has showers (not all do) & is conveniently located in the north York centre so you know there’s plenty of good eats to refuel after your workout. Manager (Patrick) is great, he has helped me with issues I have had with my account & is very personable. Always a pleasure to see the boys at the front desk, they always make me feel at home. Keep up the good work everybody! You’re all keeping this location run like a clock

Negative experience: There is a lady as she is a problem... Well, after 3 years, I canceled my member ship.. I already provided all the evidence to managers, and they are aware. She came and tried to intimidate me by saying something bad, and all managers are aware . My advice To this lady : everything is recorded in this gym . And for everything which we claim and say , we must have evidence!!! You can not manipulate every thing And intimidate us and push us to stop saying or complaining. I already have all the evidence, and we have camera footage. I spoke with both managers and I am ready for everything which is gonna happen. These pictures show how you work in this gym.. it's empty!!!!! How we can clean equipment after workout. You can proud yourself and tell your self how good you are. All staff are good except this lady. She deserved to be fired !!!! Before this lady came, everything was just perfect. Thank you, guys, my gym bros. Hope to see you. We are brothers and sisters in this gym fit4less . I found good friends in this gym, and I am grateful.

Negative experience: What is this kind of management? A boy working here at nights (today is Thursday) leaves here too soon, I am here since 9pm and nobody is here. I never could use the options that I may have with my black card. I never could do tanning. If nobody is here to answer, what is black card really? Worst management. I am gonna change the place. Worst experience within any fit4less I had in different cities.

Every night around 7to 10 pm nobody is here to unlock tanning and massage bed, when i got black card you guys told me time for black card is 7am to 10 pm but when ever i came here there were nobody here to unlock tanning, you have to refund me because I couldn’t use my black card i will cancel my member ship,

Positive experience: As a member of Fit for Less Gym with a Black Card membership, I’ve had generally positive experiences with the cleanliness and equipment quality. However, I feel compelled to express my disappointment regarding the lack of staff availability, particularly when it comes to accessing amenities such as the massage chair. On the morning of March 19, 2024, at 7 am, I eagerly anticipated utilizing the massage chair, only to find no staff present despite waiting for around half an hour. This inconvenience repeated itself today, March 21, 2024, at 6 pm, when once again, no staff member was available to assist. As a paying member with a premium membership, I expected better service, especially considering the extra perks associated with the Black Card membership. The absence of staff during peak hours not only diminishes the overall experience but also undermines the value proposition of the membership tier. While I appreciate the overall cleanliness and quality of equipment at Fit for Less Gym, the recurring issue of staff availability detracts from an otherwise satisfactory experience. I hope the management addresses this concern promptly to ensure all members receive the level of service they deserve, regardless of membership tier.

Negative experience: Parking ticket machine often doesn't work in the evening time so I had to pay for my parking fee cause securities also didn't even do anything for this. How come the manager of this location doesn't fix this issue for this long time. Also staff here, she was literally keep saying "I don't know, maybe you should talk to the security lady but I don't know where she is, I have nothing to do with this" She didn't even give any solution and just told me to come back tomorrow and let the security knows...??? what is that supposed to mean by that?. How am I gonna leave with out paying for the parking fee then? that is the question now! Staff here said she left a note so many times and the manager didn't do anything for this. Hopefully they will re inverse this fee and fix the problem asap.

Positive experience: This gym is always and clean and ready to welcome the guests. The location has most equipment along with sufficient space for crossfit workouts. Plus they are not too crowdy. Its easily accessible, located right above subway station. Only thing they lack is a water fountain. Rest the experience is great

Negative experience: Fie on Fit4Less’ manager, and staff members early, and often due to arrogance, and incompetence especially during amateur hour when awkward interactions make the experience very troublesome with regards to etiquette, and common courtesy. Make sure those weights are racked, and organized in advance! Don’t get lazy, and forget about it either eh.

Positive experience: You get what you pay for. No water fountains, and weights under 20lb don’t have the 2.5lbs in between (e.g. 12.5, 17.5). Place is pretty clean and has most machines you’d need including benches and barbells. Pretty packed even at 9:30pm Not a huge problem but there’s no room with a mirror wall (would be good for yoga or dance practice) so I’ll probably switch to a different gym eventually
Negative experience: Says it’s a 24/7 but you can’t even enter the building to get to the gym will most likely be terminating my membership due to this

Positive experience: I go to the downtown one normally. This one doesn't have a squat rack or stair master which was disappointing. They do however just have the gym as one open area instead of the black card only areas. Which is nice Overall, it's a cheap gym

Positive experience: I had been going to this location for months before canceling my membership and I can say that the gym is well maintained and although the space isnt that big and is limited, it has been used very effectively by having a lot of machines and equipment while not having any of them too cluttered up in a way that it would inconvenience anyone. The bathrooms are always clean and neat, and the staff are quite kind and polite. Especially when I called to cancel my membership, all my questions were answered and the entire process was explained to me in detail. However, the one problem that I encountered quite a few times was that I couldnt find a single staff member for a long time range (30-40 min) through out the whole place when the trash cans were full, sanitizer spray bottles or tissues were all used. I figured maybe they were busy with cleaning or restocking or other work so I went to the main desk to wait for them at the end of my workout and could hear them talking and laughing in the room behind which wasnt very professional of them. All in all, a great gym to workout at, at a convenient location right at Yonge street with easy access to TTC, and parking.

Negative experience: I had been a satisfied member of fit4less and had given them a 5-star review in the past. However, my recent experience has led me to change my review to 1 star. Let me explain in more detail. About a year ago, I registered for a new membership with fit4less but accidentally selected the wrong location. Recognizing my mistake, I decided to change my location to North York centre and paid the required fee for the transfer. Despite the initial hiccup, I continued my membership without any issues for almost a year. A few months back, I made the decision to upgrade my fitness routine and switch to GoodLife. Consequently, I reached out to a fit4less representative to cancel my membership properly. The representative assured me that my last day would be in mid-July, and I was charged accordingly. However, when mid-July arrived, I was shocked to find another charge on my card from fit4less. Confused and frustrated, I contacted fit4less customer service to inquire about the charge. To my dismay, I was informed that they had canceled the wrong membership, even though I had already paid the fee to transfer my membership to the correct location a year ago. This oversight by the representative resulted in additional charges that I should not have incurred. While I was disappointed with the situation, I decided to let it go, considering the affordable membership fees. I figured another $14 charge wouldn’t hurt too much. However, my frustrations escalated when I received a confirmation today that my last day with fit4less would be on August 4th, and I wouldn’t be charged after that. On the same day, I noticed a $59 charge for the annual fee. This baffled me because my membership was set to end in just four days, and it was evident that the representative’s mistake was the cause of the incorrect cancellation previously. It didn’t seem fair that I had to pay an annual fee for a membership that was about to expire. The situation left me feeling that fit4less mishandled my account, and their lack of attention to detail and responsiveness has left me disappointed and questioning their customer service. Overall, my recent experience with fit4less has been far from satisfactory, and I cannot help but reconsider my trust in their services.

Positive experience: If u lost your airpod pro recently by the bench near the cable pulls, I found it and left it at the staff desk behind the phone. Also, while I’m posting a review, could the air conditioning plz be turned up a little? It’s insanely hot and it gets worse during peak hours when the place is crowded.

The gym is never packed which I like, and the showers are clean and private which is nice too. I really wish they had a swimming pool but you can't have everything right!!

Fantastic experience: That’s my 7th gym I tried. the closest gym to my place. And I took my time before giving them 5stars. It’s true the gym is not extra spacious but I do enjoy going there : hot, pretty , beautiful, sexy girls smiling laughing with friends talking with everybody there and there so friendly and enjoying their work out faces not frowned the guys are cool too. Clean not extra clean but it is ok uhh I’ll say 6.5/10 staff 7/10 when you need informations area 8/10 machines are rarely broke so that’s good even if it’s kinda busy sometimes and you wait a little. I’m going there now lol so Yh more girls more motivation and they have that lol so 5stars for this one .

Positive experience: This place is great, my go-to gym. Location is a bit weird but thats not a knock on the gym. Size is nice, wish their dumbells went past 75 lbs though. Where they really shine is their staff. Always greeted with a smile, its very clean, and honestly the people at the gym are also really nice. Some guys could use a shower haha, but that is very minor in comparison to what you get for the price. If you are looking for a gym with an affordable price that has most of the amenities you need to get in shape, this is the place for you. Have yet to try the hydro massage but it looks pretty fun!

Negative experience: I stood outside the doors waiting for staff for over 30 minutes. I rang the buzzer outside repeatedly and also called their phone repeatedly and no answer. I even heard the phone ringing. I called other fit4less locations to confirm that it is staffed hours and staffed day and it is. I am still currently standing outside during staffed hours with NO STAFF to help me. This is ridiculous. I’d give 0 or even negative stars if possible. What type of staffed hours has no staff to assist people. I bussed over 30 minutes to this location to get a membership and tour of the location. Negative 5 stars. Ridiculous.
Negative experience: If I could give 0 I would. They literally never answer there phone on the weekends. No one was there during staff hours , and we have been trying to cancel my sister's membership for a week. They informed us the only way to cancel the memebership is in person. But how can you when no one is there in person?
Negative experience: Horrible place. 3 years ago came here to cancel my membership and they employee here cancel one of them leaving the other miserable accounts of other location actively without telling me.(yes they can also miserably register two active acc for u and charge u double). So now They’ve been charged me 3 years and I never ever used during it). Now I came here ask them to transfer my membership to this location freely because this not my problem in the first hand. They denied and insist me to pay a transfer fee. Horrible place, horrible staff and horrible services. (They told me they’ve already got my acc cancel today without even asking my phone number) Just wanna share my experience with everyone. Totally widen my horizons. Great business tho :)
Negative experience: I joined the membership online and went to the north york location tryna get my card, the kiosk at the door is broken, I called front desk multiple times and no one picked up, I tried to ask ppl to get inside and find the stuff for me and they told me no one was there, there’s no other phone number I could call and no other ways I can get in. Negative experience: These Fit 4 Less gyms can’t compete with Planet Fitness for the same price. Planet Fitness are better than Goodlife gyms and for $15 a month rather than $60. Fit 4 Less is a horrendous strategy for Goodlife to try and compete on the lower price market. Problem is if they made Fit 4 Less similar to Planet Fitness, members may leave Goodlife to join Planet Fitness. So they create Fit 4 Less which have dull lighting, half the equipping, no locker rooms nor drinking fountain with no staff after 4 pm. Notice there are no Fit 4 Less gyms located near Planet Fitness gyms as they wouldn’t survive. I looked at two of these Fit 4 Less gyms and couldn’t believe how bad they are. Depressing feel with dim yellow lighting in basements with no windows and about 1/3 the size of a normal gym. Shower in a closet and two closets to change clothes in. You won’t believe it unless you tour one of these gyms. Best options are Planet Fitness for $15 or LA Fitness for $40 a month which are phenomenal gyms better than any Goodlife gym I’ve seen. I’ve been a member of all these gyms except Fit 4 Less.

Positive experience: The gym facilities itself are great but to tell me they can not let you tan without goggles is against my choice of what I want to do and will be reporting this to headoffice. It's my body, my face and my choice. Without proof of legal documentation as to why, just because it's a policy doesn't give you the right to tell me what I can and can not do. What if someone had an issue with things on their face due to personal reasons?? Do better!

Fantastic experience: Such a wonderful workout experience at an amazing price. Staff is super friendly and manager Sebastian always on his game to keep the place clean and organized. Would recommend to anyone.

Negative experience: I could not find the location. I found the underground parking on the side street and followed the signs that led me to P4 and then there were no more signs. Just a huge parking lot with various exits to multiple buildings. No signs of building 5150. Please get property manager to install more signs that lead you to the correct parking area and entrance. It was the most ridiculous experience. The parking lot itself is like a maze connecting various buildings on both sides of the street. Poor signage. I gave up looking and went back home. My home gym was closed but due to the confusion and the audacity of being charged $5 just to enter the parking lot, I will never return to this location again!
Negative experience: Gym is very clean but due to its tiny size it’s almost always packed to the gills with people and you almost always have to wait for equipment. Also no gym can get more than a two star if it has ZERO squat racks. The one good thing I’ll say about this gym is I want to get out of here so badly I always finish my workouts 25% faster than when I go to the other two. I think they’re doing the best they can with the space they’ve got, but there’s only so much they can do. Again, zero squat racks.

Positive experience: Very big and new location. Almost empty not much ppl. But the parking and elevator is broken half the time. The parking fee waver machine is broken and says just unse the intercom at the door and tell them you are from fit 4 less. But then u keep pressing to talk to the security and no one answeres so you end up paying the fee. I am angry at this building i wish fit 4 less was some where else. And when the elevator is broken you gotta use the other one down which has more walking. Or just tallke the stairs
Positive experience: There is a lot going for fit4less. If you want a gym experience with no fuss, then this is for you. They have everything you would want for weights, csrdio, and machines. There are a few optional extras as well, but it is a scaled back unpretentious gym. The staff service is very good, and I have found all members to be very easy going. I've observed no drama, issues, disrespect, no hyper-egos, no gawking or posing. The fee structure is starting to be nickle-and-dime-like. Low base fee but with monthly addon options can can really add up. Read the fine print. And ... don't forget to bring your water bottle. There is no fountain at the gym. Some locations have free parking for 2 hours.
Negative experience: Except for one Chinese person, the whole staff is late. Never opens on time if this Chinese gentleman is not the one opening the gym. Shameful. I am leaving at 6.49AM and still no staff to show up here.
Positive experience: This gym sucks. It’s too busy. There is ALWAYS someone on that machine you pull down to do triceps and yet you can’t touch a machine for more than 5 minutes before someone’s asking how many sets you have left. So stupid. Also at night the mall doors become unavailable sometimes and you’re forced to walk around to the creepy back area of the mall to get in.

Fantastic experience: I was near North York center for some business, gotta spend an extra 2hrs in this area waiting; luckily I found this location, got in, gladly talked to the staff, whose name is Daniel(btw, such a nice guy), got my parking ticket validated, had a great workout, took the post-training snack, right on time for the next scheduled event. Definitely a great place to recommend
Negative experience: This branch needs to review its hiring process and hire more rersonsible and polite people to provide better costumer services. The guys who work there are most of the times sitting at the desk or in the back room and playing with their phones. Many times, the club was running out of the wiping papers or someone were buzzing outside, but the workers did not care. They are not good fit for the job at all.
Fantastic experience: Just moved to a nee place and this branch has the best staff . I really appreciate the way they treat, so respectfully. I really respect you guys .Just because of you people like me can come to gym as you provide a healthy atmosphere . And most importantly..I really like the character of the staff member from evening shift Idont know his name but , He is a white guy and is a little healthy that's what I remember. Dude if you r reading this, you r doing your job with whole heart it is not easy man but you r giving your 100% and you really look good just. As needed for the host position . Cheers♠️❤️
Negative experience: Don't bother giving them your banking information. They'll collect and collect even if you cancel your membership. I do not recommend this gym or any fit4less. You can only cancel in person at your location, not online. I cancelled months ago during the pandemic, my emails went unanswered and they've collected from my banking without permission. I don't even live in the area anymore.
Negative experience: The staffs who work in 5150 Yonge Fit4less are extremely rude and not helpful at all. When I ask a question, they behave like they do not wanna an answer but they feel they have to and I can see it in their faces. As an advantage of having a black card, I can buy beverages with %50 discount, right? But guess what, they do not sell it because their poss machine is not working. So what is the point of having a black card? And another story about the machines. I understand that due to pandemic rules, machines are not allowed to be used. But 3-4 machines in a row are not allowed to use because they are broken. It is not about pandemic or restrictions. I am planning to cancel my brother's, my roommate's and my memberships soon.
Negative experience: Im the one who support this business to open after the Pandamic. But actually I no way recommend this sport company because they never care about the members. They care only about their own pocket and how to deceive people to join their gym and then empty their pockets!
Negative experience: Like most gyms, signing up and permitting them access to your bank account is the easy part, cancelling your membership however is a total nightmare. I have been trying to cancel my membership since last year when I moved away from the area. At this time, you can only cancel your membership in person or over the phone. Well guess what - surprise surprise - they do Not answer their phone. Ever. I call several times a day, each day of the week. I now have to make the two-hour trip into the city Just to cancel a gym membership and have them stop debiting my bank account. Frustrating given that they were closed when I was still in the city and trying to cancel my membership that wasn't getting used due to the pandemic. Of course they don't respond to emails either. Have found this whole situation frustrating and disappointing. Zero Stars for Customer Service since it's quite literally non-existent. Potential New Members - Beware when you sign up and they smile and tell you there's little commitment and you can cancel any time...
Positive experience: It's Time To Be As Fit As A Fiddle. This Gym Offers Unlimited use of Hydro Massage Beds and Massage Chairs. Even though Only For Black Card Holder.!
Negative experience: In terms of professionalism and customer service, my personally rating is a 1 star. I remember when I signed up 2 years ago, the big guy at the front desk was pretty rude. Not exactly the best way to treat someone. Also, when I came back when gyms reopened, the same guy who disrespected me was not wearing a mask. Like seriously? Masks were mandatory indoors at the time.
Negative experience: Worst customer service I have ever had with a business in Canada! No online support! No contact us for change in membership! The only way to cancel the membership is going to club where the club is closed due to covid!! (THIS DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENCE!). They have deliberately made cancelation extremely difficult to continue charging members without them being able to cancel it!
Negative experience: While visiting this location I witnessed multiple members not wiping down machines/equipment nor were these same people wearing face masks when walking around the gym. What was even more disappointing was that the Fit4Less staff did not enforce any of they public safety policies that were posted at the gym entrance. When I brought my concerns up with a staff member, he said that they can't force ppl to follow these procedures, but they they would walk around and could potentially ban these ppl for not following the Covid rules. Beyond that conversation, staff did not monitor the floor but were mostly congregated in the office area with eachother. Message to the company: if your staff is not confident enough to enforce the signage posted at the entrance, then you are just providing a false sense of security to keep membership fees active and make a profit.
Negative experience: manager Holly did not followup with me regarding an reimbursement for an upcoming fee .... long story: I updated my banking information the day before the next membership fee since my previous banking account was hacked and locked and under investigation. Their system requires 3 business days to update, so i got hit with the 25 dollar fee. Tony at the frontdesk said to speak to Holly. Holly understood my position, said she will contact home office (no way for any member to contact home office, no contact info on fitforless website). She then said she would call me to let me know if they will reimburse me. I said if they cant, to just cancel my membership to avoid the fee. She said ok and took down my number. Week and half goes by after I see this fee not being reimbursed, so I go today. Holly was wiping stations and Tony, who recognized me, let me in. I then went to Holly and asked if there is an update. She didnt recognize me and instead said she is busy working. I said that I just need a quick update. And explained who I was but she said she doesnt remember me. Holly said for me to email her (huh?, theres not even a fitforless corporate email much less hers). I suggested Tony (who was on the conputer) to swap places. She said no. As i was leaving I slapped the wall in frustration and she said I need to leave or I will call security. I said to her that she is the bad guy in this but to please take the time, that is so precious to you, and which in the time youll use to call security, you could have helped me. Security came and I tood them I was already leaving and went my bmo bank just across from this fitforless. This is not about the money. its about me going through hell with identity theft and being promised by Holly to be contacted. Holly if you are reading this, you are a fake and insincere person.
Fantastic experience: Good place to workout! People manage themselves well. Most of them wear mask,take turns for equipment to use. Best gym with the good price,too. Just like its name' Fit4less i guess'
Negative experience: I have requested cancellation of my membership as per your policy and have not heard back from anyone since. I submitted the request on June 30 and still have not had any contact in the 1 month period that I was asked to wait. They have the audacity to refuse cancellations while the gyms were close and then swiftly charge me membership fees since re opening! No contact phone number or email, no responses through social media and no regard for customer service.
Positive experience: would have been 5 stars but was told that in the last 10min of your work out you are. not allowed to use the hydro message table or chairs and because of that I will not be back to this location again
Positive experience: Really nice gym, affordable, good amount of equipment, however there is only 3 change rooms and no water fountain. There is a booster juice, and a food court out on the second floor.

Positive experience: Good gym but I saw a care taker putting water from leftover water bottles into the bottles which were supposed to contain "sanitizer" for wiping down equipment....so yeah...make what you can of that. This was around 2-3am btw lol....

Fantastic experience: Good gym. Got the essential stuff that you need. People for the most part put weights back so the space is clean. They have 4 massage chairs and 2 hydro massagers. They also have tanning booths but I never used them so no comment on that. They also have good stretching section with matts. They have foam rollers, exercise ball, body balls and etc. Unfortunately they have no exercise steppers. Would be useful

Fantastic experience: I like the location, it’s not far away from where I live. Free parking! Which was my main concern when I was planning to join the gym. Fit4less is real proof that you don’t have to pay too much to stay fit! The location is always clean & the staff are welcoming and supportive. They have excellent measures regarding COVID-19 and the sanitization stations are always full and maintained. The building where the gym is located is always clean and has some shopping facilities.

Fantastic experience: Joined this location in late 2017 and have been very happy with the facility. Location is very convenient, very clean and has plenty of weights, machines and treadmills. Staff are very friendly and are always willing to provide help workout advice when asked. Highly recommend this location.

Fantastic experience: Extremely clean with all the employees making efforts to wipe everything down. Very good no frills gym with nobody bothering you and comfortable to go being close by the subway station.
Fantastic experience: I joined in May 2019. This is the most affordable gym membership and has a great staff. The consistent members are friendly and easy to converse with. It is always clean and the weights are returned to their designated areas. Going at 7 am is always empty!

Negative experience: Horrible service, no working computer the staff member working Sunday morning is completely useless and should be fired. Staff are never present when you buzz and the parking validation is broken which means you have to pay for parking yourself. $3/20 min. This is the worst location. Go to any other location for better service.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to this gym for the past year and it is by far the best fit 4 less gym I’ve gone to. Its well maintained, organized and clean. The staff are all very friendly and make it an inviting environment.
