Fantastic experience: Very Nice & Clean Gym, Vartan is a super nice dude.

Fantastic experience: This is a great planet fitness. They are somewhat small but never too busy. Their facilities are always very clean. They also have the recovery pod here; not available at every location. The parking can be difficult to get as the mall parking is often crowded and very tight.

Fantastic experience: Great service, very clean, the manager dose a wonderful job of helping and all the staff are welcoming and polite

Negative experience: Staff are incompetent

Negative experience: Worst place.. they deduct their fees multiple times in a month and pretend as if we are at fault. Would not even given 1 star. Never recommend

Negative experience: Wasn't satisfied with the customer service and decided to cancel my membership for a gym that provides customer service that works for me. I emailed the management and never got a response.

Negative experience: The assistant manager here need to know this is a free country and I'm allowed to take a call whenever I want. I domt usually use my phone atbd guy but occasionally I might get a phone all. I don't disturb people around me and I'm not sitting on a machine just chilling on my phone I never do that as I know how annoying it can be. What she meed to focus on us the dam cleansing of this place and the summer kids when they are here 5 per machine and paying customers cannot get to use the machines. She came here as a trainer and got promoted she need to chill. I have been here from day 1 many come amd go customer service is they key madam manager!!!! We have choices remember there is a gym at the mall.

Negative experience: I had a negative experience with Planet Fitness that left me feeling frustrated and discriminated against. It seems that, due to my race, my policy was unjustly cancelled by the company. The situation escalated when I got into a heated argument with an Indian employee at the gym. Our exchange of words quickly turned physical as we both pushed each other in the heat of the moment. However, despite both being involved in the altercation, I was the only one who was asked to leave the premises. This perceived unfair treatment only added to my feelings of anger and disbelief towards the gym and its policies. It is disappointing to see that such discrimination and unequal treatment still exist in our society today.

Fantastic experience: I hadn't stepped into a gym in over a decade. My bf is a gym guy and decided to pay for my membership at this location. I am extremely happy with the gym's services and equipment. The gym is never too crowded and there is always a machine available for you to use when working out.

Fantastic experience: I love my new gym! Staff are always friendly and helpful, and since it's open 24/7 except for the major holidays, I can go there whenever I am in the mood even if it's at 2am! I LOVE the amazing massage chairs since I have some pretty major injuries from a car accident a long time ago.. My only suggestion is that they AT LEAST add a privacy screen curtain to make those 2 areas more private because I don't like people gawking in at me when I am trying to relax and enjoy that nice massage!! All the tanning rooms and the relaxation pods are self-contained rooms. Why not give someone in the massage chairs the same privacy?

Negative experience: How long it takes to fix this , it’s been month now

Negative experience: Honestly the gym sucks. There are too many cardio machines that no one uses. At peak hours there are machine hogs. I used to go to Good Life and even in there peak hours, there was always equipment to use. Tonight, I went to the gym using my escooter. I brought my scooter before to the gym and had no issue. Tonight, the two workers told me that it was in their policy that it could not be inside. I said I can put it in the corner they said it has to be outside. Where in the heck are the bike locks if you people want us to keep it outside. So i left and came back home. I think I might be done with PF after this foolishness. I have an alarm on the scooter but how am I supposed to keep an eye on it if I can't see it and there is no where to lock it up. I'd like to read what the policy says about this

Negative experience: Horrible. Wore crocs once. Was with 3 people and they wore crocs aswell. Today I’m at another gym and finds out I’m banned but not my friends? They r so rude aswell. Dirty nobody wipes after them selves and it’s just so nasty there . The workers r also rude .

Negative experience: The worst gym plan EVER. I moved out of town they told me I had to come in and cancel or write a letter. I have explained I was pregnant and could not use and k am 2 hours away. That’s was a year ago and half ago and they are still charging me!!!!! 28 dollars a MONTH!!! I am again pregnant and still 2 hours away. I wrote a letter and still I am being charged. Insane!!! I would never suggest to use them at all. All I want is my account closed/ it would be nice to be refunded since I’ve been trying to cancel for over a year!

Negative experience: The gym is clean, no issues with the staff. The gym is always packed. They only have 4 smith machines. They have a lot of space where they can put more machines. Whenever you ask anyone how many sets they’re left with, they all have the same answer “just started” Very low lighting in the gym as well. I used to go PF on Highway 7 they had 7 smith machines and 4 racks for dumbbells, very good lighting

Negative experience: The dude really told me to go to my old gym location to have them switch my home membership location when in the past I never had to do that… they did it for me when I got here.. I guess the staff here now is lazier than the ones in the past.

Fantastic experience: Mariese you are amazing no matter how late or early I come to the gym you are always smiling ☺️ and willing to help customers. Planet Fitness need to recognize how much of an asset you are to their corporation. Businesses need employees like you to strive!

Negative experience: Someone cut my lock and opened my locker. I'm canceling my membership and moving to another location. It is difficult to control what people join the gym, but I suggest to put lockers on the main floor to solve this security issue. The only lockers are in the changing rooms where thieves can wait when it is empty to continue stealing someone else property.

Negative experience: Hello manager at planet fitness I decided to give you guys a 1 star because of your employee. I understand pf has a policy of no pictures to be taken in the facilities or videos e.t.c and phone conversations in the lobby..at the end of the day u can only enforce but some people will not follow and thats just the truth. now the complaint is about that BLACK LADY with her dried Up locs. She needs to learn customer service skills she is rude to some people who comes it to work out and have a good time at the gym .. however this BLACK LADY with her dried up locs from what I observed went up to 4 individuals while they were working out telling them they can't be on the phone. And if u are wondering how i knw that i was close to two of them , and he was not too happy about that, I mean u cannot just approach someone like that telling them that , the signs are around allow them to make there mistakes and correct it.. you don't knw the situation of the conversations, u can't just approach someone like that lady. The manager needs to speak to her about doing that because one day she won't be so LUCKY . Leave individuals alone they pay to be in that gym to work out, not pay to be provoke by someone who thinks she OWNS the gym and that gets minimum wage, and am sure she does not get extra pay to go around and approach individuals. It's not the MILITARY its the GYM . If individuals dont pay you wont have a job, she should focus more on cleaning the gym removing all the brown papers that lay around on the floor and ontop of the machines and the washroom that reaks! Again u get a 1 star .. thank you

Fantastic experience: Jane&Finch location: It is clean spaсious place that offers classes without extra cost. Plenty enough of elliptical trainers, stairs machines and treadmills. I enjoy classes with a knowledgeable trainer Vik that listen to your needs. Friendly environment.

Positive experience: I’m a black card member and I do prefer this location even knowing isn’t the closest to me but this location is spacious has good variety of equipment and well maintained is a friendly environment has an amazing staff specially during morning times (I always go early mornings)… The only reason I do not give 5* it’s because I do not liked their idea of covering almost all of the windows what makes it impossible to look outside and consequently makes the gym look darker, when I started going there wasn’t like that.

Negative experience: its been over 4 years i didnot go back to planet fitneess i call to i call to stop my membership someone told me i have to come in when i get there someone telling me i have to pay becouse i miss a payment i as why no one call to tell me i speak to te manager ask him the same thing he cant give me a answer now he telling me i have to pay no good

Fantastic experience: It’s now my fifth visit here and I love this location! As a Black Card member I am trying out the various PF locations in the city. This location is large, not overly crowded and has lots of equipment in good condition. On top of that, the staff are absolutely amazing! I dropped my ring while working out and one of the staff members literally moved equipped and got on the ground to help me find it. He found it! I’m forever grateful.

Negative experience: I was a member before. Recently, my office moved in the Yorkgate Mall, then I came back to Planet Fitness in the morning, 8.30 AM. The first day, the employee told me I had 3 day pass for free. I finished one day. The second day I came back, another employee told me if i wanted to use the second day pass, i had to pay $20/day. So, inconsistent. I was ok to pay the membership, but I told them to do me very quickly because i needed to go to my office. The girl did very very slowly, looked like she didnot want to serve me. I told her if i could do register later my workout, she could do all the registration then i would be back to sign only because i did not want to waste my time. However, she did it on purpose and did so slowly like a snail. She looks no energy, no customer service, gave attitude. She also said "I cannot do any better". In the end, I took back my ID and left angrily. I was really energic, but she made my mood terribly down. She looked like she suffering from working and looked lazy. If she had no energy, she should not work in fitness where people should be encouraged and motivated for a better life. Her name is Roz something. I want to make another complaint to the management team, does anybody know how to reach them, please let me know. I even wanted to give the minus start, 1 star is not worth it for them.

Fantastic experience: Kinda busy, but not to the point where it's uncomfortable or ur waiting forever for equipment. I can easily find something similar while I wait. Very clean too, which is always a plus, cuz some of these gyms are gross not this one tho!

Negative experience: People think they own the Gym for $29 a month and just hog the smith machines like complete a holes. And the staff wont do anything about it and will always try to blame or talk you out of it.

Fantastic experience: My all time favorite place for exercise it opens 24/7 when ever I feel like to do some exercise I just go there

Negative experience: Men’s bathroom has to be the worst gym bathroom I ever been in my life, staff do not clean up equipment nor care to even if you tell them, Over packed gym does not suit the location it is at, overall not even worth $25 a month for the black membership, I regret joining here

Positive experience: Most of the employees here are awesome, except that dude with the dreads and the glasses need to learn customer service skills. Upon saying hello or have a goodnight, he completely leaves you hanging and just stares at you. If your lucky he says something under his breath. I don't know what his problem is, but he needs to learn basic manners and how to speak to people if he's going to work the desk.

Negative experience: You always ask for feedback but dont even work on it. I mean crowd meter never shows right. Many are sitting idle on machine using cellphone and the staff is doing nothing about this. Not a single person on the front desk. At least re rack the weights, i checked the whole place and couldnt find the 20-30lbs.

Fantastic experience: This gym is one of the best locations near the North York area. This facility is huge and has every piece of equipment that a gym needs.

Fantastic experience: I’m hesitant to write this review because selfishly I don’t want new members joining! I’ve been a member here for nearly a year. Before this, I was a member at a luxury gym in Woodbridge where I paid $160 a month for 3 years! I was worried that I wouldn’t be happy at a no frills gym after being spoiled at the other gym but I am beyond satisfied. It has everything that I need to complete a full workout. The staff are friendly and Vartan the general manager is always busy doing something whether it’s cleaning, restocking, putting gym equipment back in the area in which belongs or helping others working the front desk. The gym is super clean. The front desk is always staffed. Change rooms and washrooms are also clean.

Positive experience: Granted this Planet fitness location was one of the busier ones I found in the Toronto area. The machines were a little on the tight side and there wasn't very much room in the stretching area to lay down a mat. Overall the equipment seemed fine and things were clean on the floor. However I'm knocking off one star based off the space mentioned above but another star definitely for the bathrooms. Overall they were decent at best but there was black mold growing in most of the showers and the shower heads looked like they haven't been replaced in a long time. So I was okay taking a shower there but definitely would try another one in the area when I'm passing back through Toronto again.

Positive experience: This is a really good place to work out in my own preference but experience is always the best teacher

Negative experience: This gym is one of the worst gyms I have been to. It is insanely crowded with high school kids and very difficult to get and machine or freeweight bench. The have only dumbbells up to 75lbs. The have no other freeweight. No bench press no shoulder pressno squat rack only Smith machines. It was clean and the upkeep of tge locker room s were good but you cannot get in a good weight lifting workout here.

Positive experience: Clean, big, and looks pretty attractive kinda gym. Though too pricey for me. Overall, I really love it still! Complete and different equipment and soo loved the stairmaster

Positive experience: In my opinion, this gym is nice and it's also clean, however, there are times where it gets very crowded, and it's so crowded that it lacks equipment like weights, because right now there are too many people enrolled in this gym and for this reason you can’t exercise easily.

Negative experience: I really like it but there is a big problem people go there and they stink a lot they shoud have some protocols for that kind of people it’s really disgusting that you are doing exercise, try to go clean to the gym cause hygiene goes first and suddenly you have to run away from People like this covering your nose, It’s rude some time the way you react when you smell that but the smell really gets people mad

Negative experience: Today they stole all the money from my wallet that I left inside my jacketI asked the people who were there and they say that this happens very frequently and that it is the same staff that comes in to clean one to complain but they say that there are no cameras

When I complained they said I had 3 different membership and it was my mistake. How can you make a mistake if I stated the name, DOB to cancel? Instead of helping or trying to find a solution as their long time customer, the person was literally trying to convince me it wasn’t their mistake but mine and I should just accept it!!! What a disappointment.

Positive experience: It's ok gym shower area is always wet on the floor though for some reason. The men here need to dry off properly. Gym is best to use after hours or very early morning as it can get packed

Negative experience: There is an employees she is an old black female that spends all her time talking with a short East Indian guy. She is very rude and when people ask her questions she doesn't respond politely. This happes in the morning around 7am. Every single day. She is a Very unfriendly person. These two _They are always staring at people and are constantly judging people in the gym . My girlfriend doesn't go to the end of the gym near the male washrooms because this short dark East Indian guy is always there staring at her and trying to ask her out. She feels so uncomfortable. We are looking for another gym. These two make the environment in the gym very uncomfortable. The manager is a good guy, but allows this staff member to do whatever she wants. Definitely not a good place for a work out @!!

Negative experience: Not easy to access due to road construction. Management have no understanding of human nature or cooperation with tgeir clients. They hide behing their abusive contracts.

Positive experience: Little crowded. Less machines for weight lifting. Lot of machines for cardio

Negative experience: Better gym than it's competitor on the other side called "Fit4Less" but still not that great. If you're a casual gym goer / bro looking for a cheap gym with no substances, this is the one for you. The space is big but it's filled with too many cardio equipment. They don't have enough duplicates when it comes to plate loaded or weight stacked machines. They don't have free bars to do Deadlifts or even a Flat Bench or even a proper Squat Rack. Sure you can substitute some of these movements in the smith machine but it comes down to variety and also space. Audience of people that go here ranges from old to young, experienced to not. You see the memes online / instagram? That's exactly what you get here. The staff is don't even look like they workout themselves so knowledge definitely isn't there. You can tell as they have snacks and pizza put out regularly for those to enjoy...more like stay fat so they can continue getting business off of. Overall poor experience here but they do clean regularly and the space is overall taken care of. Weights are still a mess as everyone and anyone just leaves things around but the staff can only police so much.

Negative experience: Disappointed and sad. Three things happened to me, yesterday they stole 340 dollars from me, I called to report it and they told me I had to go to the GYM, I canceled my university class and I went, so that in the end they didn't tell me anything, they didn't do anything. I go to the GYM, after work, I have my laptop and things that are important with me, I thought it was a safe place. I also had problems with the monthly payment and the employees did not solve it, I had to do it with my bank, they charged me a lot of money, (I let this go, I thought it was a human error). I had a lock for my locker but they took that too. In conclusion I feel sad and disappointed in the place, I just canceled my subscription

Negative experience: I would like talk about my experience used this gym. I was member of "Planet Fitness" in British Columbia, I was happy to find same gym in North York. But on my first day I was robbed, somebody steal my cash and " Costco" card from me wallet in my bag from locked loker. I asked reseptionist about help, but she told, I can't do nothing.She geve me email of manager this branch, but manager only ask question and expresses condoleneces. I'm wery interesting, administration of this gym will be do some thing, ore they think its,ok. Piople like me coming in this gym and don't have secure, it's, ok, for North York? and maybe next time somebody will truy to kill me to made robbery, I'm wery interesting, whech answer you give me? In this club rob clients, from locked lockers.

Fantastic experience: Very nice staff, clean facilities and affordable price

Negative experience: I am a Planet Fitness Black Card Member for many years and I go to different locations based on my convenience, noticed something different with this location, for using the Black Card Benefits they ask us to scan our membership card for each and every facility of black card members area, I had to scan my membership ship card three times to use, Massage Chair, Total Body Enhancement & Hydro Massage though I did them all at the same time one after the other. At other locations I was asked to scan my membership card only once to identify myself as a Black Card Member.

Positive experience: Came as a guest to try out the gym. Compared to any of the gyms I’ve signed up to (LA and GoodLife) Planet Fitness is one where I feel most comfortable. The environment is not intimidating at all, members actually clean up after themselves and it feels like a safe space for women to workout. Not as huge as the mainstream gyms, however they have all the right equipment for your gym needs. Only reason why I rated 4/5 is because I wish they had a squat rack and separate stretching area. Not really a big deal because there are plenty of areas you can stretch, and they also have a smith machine! Definitely plan on making Planet Fitness my permanent gym :)

Negative experience: We the members of this gym doesn’t like the setup of the equipments and it is not safe. We would like it to be set up how it was before the new manager or management came and changed it. The setup is horrible and too close to each other. The equipments as soon as when you walk in from the entrance. The machines are facing the entrance but we want it facing the mirrors. It helps with encouragement and not embarrassment. This is the worst setup I ever seen. I have been here since day one since they opened and we have already spoke to the manager and he had said speak to head office. Our concerns are not being met and we pay for our memberships and expect some type of change. The machines are too close to the treadmills, leaving us too close to each other.
