Negative experience: I’ve been a member of LA Fitness for quite some time and typically visit during the morning hours. Unfortunately, I’ve noticed that the washrooms and changing room facilities are consistently dirty during this time. There are also no napkins available in the washrooms, which adds to the inconvenience. This has been a recurring issue, and it seems no action is being taken to address it. Cleanliness is a basic expectation, especially in a gym, and I hope the management prioritizes improving these facilities soon.

Fantastic experience: Everything about the gym is good. The hygiene, cleanliness, staff but I'd suggest the management to look for some other organizations for the maintenance of the equipment. I've been trying to use the sauna for past 3 weeks and the "Scheduled for Service" is there for several days but it's still not fixed. The only progress I saw today was that the stones were not in the heater or whatever you call the unit. I wonder what's the point of providing a facility if the members can't use it. I didn't want to post a review but it has reached to the ppint where it's becoming absurd.

Fantastic experience: I enjoyed this gym! I usually go to the one at hwy 10 and Eglinton which gets pretty packed. Was working this week closer to this gym so thought I'd give it a shot. The thing I liked most about this gym was it was very light in terms of crowd. It made moving from one workout to another very smooth and easy. All equipment was where it should be, and it was all very clean. I enjoyed my time at this gym. It's odd to see some negative reviews, as I'm a guy who works out 4-5x a week, I know my gyms and this is a proper one. If you want to get in a good workout with ample equipment and friendly staff, this is your spot! If you're unserious about getting into shape and are more concerned about one broken machine, and equipment not getting put back (this is on MEMBERS not staff) then I'd suggest a boutique gym.

Negative experience: hair in showers for days, sometimes bandaids for days on the floor.. is anyone cleaning? mold on the tiles that comes off if anyone was to bother to clean it. Sauna constantly is under repair They need to step up their cleaning.. No one puts weights back overnight. First thing in the morning you're walking around looking for free weights around the gym.

Negative experience: I am extremely disappointed with the misleading sales practices at the LA Fitness location at 40 Annagem Blvd, Mississauga. I signed up for a 2-month gym membership and personal training based on clear discussions with the staff. Specifically, I spoke with Ardene, who assured me that my personal training would only last for two months, matching the duration of my gym membership. I was upfront about my plans to leave Canada in December and January for my wedding and made it crystal clear that I only wanted two months of training, with the option to extend based on my situation. To my shock, I later discovered that I had been signed up for a 6-month training contract without my knowledge, forcing me to pay $2,395 for a service I neither wanted nor would be able to use. This is nothing short of deceitful and dishonest. Ardene gave me completely incorrect information, and now I’m stuck in a financial commitment I never agreed to. Since September 20, 2024, I have been trying to reach Ardene, calling once or twice a day. Despite being told by the front desk staff that I would receive a call back, I have yet to hear from him. There is no clear way to escalate this issue — no customer service number or contact to raise my complaint to upper management. This lack of accountability is frustrating and speaks volumes about how little LA Fitness values its members. If you’re considering joining this gym, be extremely cautious and make sure you get everything in writing. This type of customer manipulation and unresponsiveness is unacceptable. LA Fitness needs to improve its transparency, honesty, and communication with clients. I do not recommend this gym to anyone looking for straightforward, trustworthy service.

Girls only area is awesome, my daughter likes it. Sauna and whirlpool are the gems and the unusual layout of the main gym is very attractive. Huge parking lot , cleaned well in winter. Negative experience: Really disappointed with this LA Fitness location. The equipment is poorly maintained, and it feels like they don’t care about keeping the place clean—the washrooms are a mess most of the time. The worst part is the management. The general manager is super unhelpful and rude. She clearly doesn't care about customer service. Tried talking to her about some issues, and she just brushed me off. Not coming back here again. Save your money and find a better gym.

Negative experience: I love the gym, love the people but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE change the person incharge of the music. PLEASE. It is so bad. Every single member I have spoken to agrees with me. Take this as a feedback from the whole gym. Including all the employees. Please change the music. Something from this century. It is absolutely obvious the person incharge is born in the 80's or earlier. Let someone else take the reigns please. When it changes I promise I will change my review to a 5 star!

Negative experience: The women's section is getting increasingly dirty each day. Mister David, who is begging for a review very rude first of all. Let us use the gym first so we can leave a review instead of asking for a review when a new guest comes in! Very unprofessional.

Negative experience: This was my first visit to this facility. Great location , friendly staff , variety of equipments but both users and cleaning staff need to care about the cleaning of the place. I had a personal fiber towel that was very clean and it became very dark of dust andunclean n stretching mat or wipping the equipments. Another thing that lots of paper towels around the place that both users and staff need to care about to leave them at the garbage bins. The sauna was at room temperature and the jacuzzi was not working. Recommendations may be to put signs encouraging people to wipe abd clean and leave paper towels at the garbage bins. Also may be to use clean sports sneakers for work out rather than the ones that have been used outside the gym. Keep it clean for everyone guys users and staff. Thanks for reading

Negative experience: I am extremely disappointed with my experience at LA Fitness. The gym is consistently dirty, and weights are never properly placed back on the racks. The washrooms smell terrible and are rarely cleaned. The management is extremely poor. Not had good experience with Mill. It takes an absurd two months to get any machines repaired. The overall management is so bad that it feels like they don't care about their members at all. I would not recommend this gym to anyone. It's been a very frustrating experience.

Fantastic experience: One of the best things about LA Fitness is the spacious workout areas. Even during busy hours, there's usually enough room to move around. Roshaun is friendly, helpful and supportive and made the process of starting a piece of cake.

Negative experience: Right from get go , wrong advice was given , the so called director , signs me up , he called me 24 * 7 literally harrowing me day in and day out , finally I said I’ll come take a look , after the initial session I agree to the terms he signs me up and then introduces me to a trainer and when the day comes to get trained , he gives stupid excuses and changes the trainer , and goes go to say that particular trainer is charging 20 dollars more and then adds me 20 dollars more per session , to my training plan . Very poor customer service , I had signed up for training session and unfortunately I have had a fractured leg , was unable to attend .the doctors advised that I will not be able to walk for three months leave alone continuing my training sessions, I contacted the gym put a hold on my training sessions and payment withdrawals , they REFUSE to do so , they are actually advising me to go against medical advice . And providing me with all kinds of biz are explanations saying it can be banked used later etc etc. come on I’m unsure if I can get back on my feet , what is the point in forcing me to pay for a service that I’ll perhaps not be able to take for a long time. Tried calling all the contact , they aren’t helpful at all , to my surprise local branch at Annagham Mississauga is asking me to call their head office and sort it out and they won’t be able to .

Positive experience: I used to love coming to this gym. Front desk staff girls are so nice, they’re the best past of the gym. Lately the upkeep is awful . Worked out in the women’s area yesterday and it was so dirty , hair all over the floor, no paper towel for cleaning , some old blood or snot on the mirrors . It’s been like that for days. Also you never know if there is going to be a good weight selection in the women’s area. Washrooms are usually a gamble. I come to this location because the brampton one’s are gross but this was is falling quickly .

Fantastic experience: Just joined today, will update my review if there are any issues with the gym itself. At a glance though it looked very clean and well kept, I love that there is a women's only section with lots of machines upstairs. David was very kind on the phone but unfortunately he wasn't there when we went in person, so we signed up with Josh who gave us a great tour and answered all our questions. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. Looking forward to beginning our fitness journey!

Negative experience: The only reason I liked this gym was because of the women’s section. If you need a sign not to buy a membership, this is it. I don’t usually leave bad reviews but what happened today pissed me off. I entered the change room and started changing my clothes to leave when a maintenance man leaves the sauna. I had no idea there was a man in the change room otherwise I wouldn’t have started changing. Then he leaves the room and the receptionist comes in and says a man is going to enter the change room to do maintenance on the sauna. First of all, you couldn’t have said that before? Keep in mind I wear hijab and take it off when I come to the gym because I workout in the women’s section. Second of all why was a man allowed in the WOMENS change room unaccompanied? That is so uncomfortable for so many women. She then puts up a sign saying there’s going to be a man and stands in the sauna area to let people know. I am very disappointed no one told me beforehand that there was going to be a man in the change room. I was very uncomfortable. I’m going to leave this gym as soon as I can.

Positive experience: I’ve visited various LA Fitness locations, but this one stands out as the perfect spot for a workout. The gym is spacious and impeccably clean, except for the showers, which could use more frequent maintenance. Despite this, everything else about the gym is top-notch. The only downside is the absence of a swimming pool, but overall, it’s a fantastic place to stay fit and healthy.

Negative experience: The private room is very dirty with dust everywhere: I think they need to hire more cleaning staff! Mirror is disgusting all you can see are finger prints.. you can’t even breath in this place.. machines always have dirty paper thrown on them and not disinfectant! When you ask the staff if they can get someone to clean they just look at you as if you’re speaking another language. The gym needs to get a theory cleaning.

Positive experience: I am member of this gym more than 5 years. But it's not clean like before showers not clean. Women's side shower handle are dirty walls are dirty. Wheel chair shower bench is had black mold on it. I saw cleaner just put cleaning salutations on the floor and then just throw some water on it. I don't know if management is checking. Hot tub water is never clean

Positive experience: Been coming here for a couple years. It's okay. Gym etiquette is falling though. Weights are being left everywhere and unorganized already by noon. Used paper towels left on the ground or on machines. Thinking of swaping to goodlife again soon.

Negative experience: Beware of being cheated. Personal training manager Marcus referred my daughter a 6 months program, but he made it to one year without telling her. After my daughter found out, she texted and called Marcus numerous times, but he never responded. We went in person at 4pm Wednesday, the receptionist said he is not in when he supposed to.

Fantastic experience: Great gym, with incredibly helpful staff to help with your gym needs. Especially David as he was super helpful when it came to certain memebrship deals and was able to figure out a free pass for me so I could get a trial of the gym amenities.

Negative experience: Im confused with all the clean gym reviews. Clearly no man has complained about the showers being absolutely disgusting with dark black mold all over the place. Its a health hazard. Vega blvd would never have this problem. Get someone over to clean the showers including walls daily. You guya are so focused on making sales ans getting new clients how about you worry about the ones you already have first.

Fantastic experience: The Annagem Branch is an amazing facility to be at. The space is always clean and tidy, spacious and has an abundance of equipment so I’m rarely ever kept waiting. My experience with the employees at Annagem has been nothing but comfortable. David has helped me specifically with my needs at the branch! Overall great place.

Fantastic experience: Awesome gym, have been training here regularly now from 4 months and I love it, especially now because I have been training with VISHAL DUHAN (one of the personal trainers) since December 8th. He is such an amazing trainer and a wonderful person, feels like I know this guy from years.I have never done squats in my life as I was too scared but Vishal has helped me to be able to lift 225 pounds on free bar. I would recommend This gym and trainer to everyone!! Lift and stay healthy ️

Negative experience: Cleaning is completely meaningless here! I feel like going to a barber shop. The floor is full of long nasty hairs which never gets cleaned. I even hate putting my water bottle on the floor. You can see the mats too. What I feel is just paying for using the equipment monthly, and nothing for cleaning.

Negative experience: I now rated it one star because for some reason they will not fix the hot tub water still cold and the jets don’t work properly I think that it’s time to change management Otherwise sauna is great except that members don’t listen to signs on sauna They are in there with full work on clothes running shoes and it says no outside clothes Hot tub was cold I never wanted to do ice bath I do hope that they fix it Sauna was and everything else was good

Fantastic experience: This one incident happened with me when i came with my friend who is the actual pass holder and he had one guest allowed, but one of our common friend was visiting us so i had to sign up for the extra guest pass. I met David there and he helped me get the VIP Guest pass in no time. Its been a year i am visiting LA fitness and trust me i have been to many gyms but the service and cleanliness is top notch here.
