Positive experience: I took the kids to the pool this afternoon. I was pleased with the different options based on age group. There were two pools for kids with warm water, bigger pool for older kids and adults with lane swimming, a dive board and a big slide, and a hot tub. It was quite busy and all of the kids were having fun and screaming, so not the best for people who get overstimulated, but I heard that it's not always that busy.

Negative experience: Terrible summer camps. Between CHP and Membic ( sp? ‍♂️ )… they’re equally terrible. Buyer beware.

Negative experience: Here is an honest 1 star review for all to see.. this is the customer service I get after registering my son for summer camp at Cole Harbour Place. The camp was not for him and I requested a refund as per their policy. I have yet to get my money refunded and I've been in there 3 times already in the last week alone. Very unprofessional and not a good environment to leave your kids. Try it and ask your kids how the day went.. but when you ask for your money back expect a long wait. Abbey is supposed to be in a position of power and I don't see how she is competent in her duties at that facility. The counter staff laughed in agreement as well. They did their job and I did mine.. for some reason she asked me my availability and then 2 minutes later I can't get it? Ridiculous Enjoy the photos of our emailed conversations. Cole harbour Rec center is way better for the kids and parents a like. If you see my review please skip this place. Edit done August 28, 2024: I just got my cheque today. 4 weeks after I asked for my money back. While leaving the building I noticed a bunch of unattended chemicals left by the public stairs. These chemicals are for industrial flooring and surfaces of concrete. They are just sitting by the stairs for kids or anyone to play with. Not a good spot to leave your kids in this building and clearly not a good place to spend money.

Negative experience: Worst customer service, they don’t even know how to talk to customer. Their Walmart dress says “Happy to help” but they look like they absolutely hate their job. Just worst

Fantastic experience: Many services offered in one building. PT Health, public library, skating rink, public pool, gym, community room is often used for local events such as craft sales and flea markets.

Fantastic experience: It is a great place for weekend activities such as hockey, ringette, the libary, and random events such as cat shows and job fairs. I usually come during the weekend and avoid the weekdays. During the week, it can be super busy with the local school students. I never had a problem with the local youth despite some of the other reviews. It would be nice if there were more bus routes around, though.

Negative experience: Not inclusive of disabilities. Awful experience on multiple occasions. Won't be back.

Fantastic experience: I come here all the time and the staff here are so nice, I love all of them so much! and on Tuesday I go to teen night and they have the funnest stuff to do there I love chp

Fantastic experience: Started taking aqua dance classes with Rita on tues and Thursday evenings…what an amazing vibe..great music and Rita is so fun and motivating!! Class goes by super fast!! Highly recommend!!!

Negative experience: I used to love CHP gym but now it's a severally overcrowded hangout spot for teenagers. I go to the gym after work when the high school students are also at the gym. Everyday I'm stuck waiting for machines/equipment while groups of kids are sitting on equipment looking at their phones, having long conversations, flexing in the mirror or playing on equipment. My workout yesterday (a typical day at CHP gym): -Asked a staff member who was off shift working out to put his weights away as he left 4 plates and an easy bar at one of the few good benches in the gym. When I asked him to put his weights away he was dismissive and rude and only put a couple items away and left the rest. I asked him again and tried to explain that other people may want to use the equipment and the plates on the floor are a tripping hazard and he just put his headphones back in and ignored me. -I asked a group of teenagers that had been standing next to a machine talking for several minutes if they were using that equipment. They said yes and continued to chat - I never got to use that machine. -While using one of the machines, a group of 6 kids were playing on the machine next to me and bumping into me several times and seemingly unaware each time. -I spent the last bit of my workout walking around unable to find any machines or equipment to use and had to cut my workout short because nothing was available.

Positive experience: Had one of the best time with my daughter we went skating (bring a helmut), great time there

Negative experience: If only I didn't have to blast my personal music to drown out the gyms god awful music.

Negative experience: Closes at 8 on Saturday. Extremely disappointing.

Fantastic experience: Cole Harbour Place is a nice community centre, offering a gym, pool, child minding, ice rink, library and more. They offer a variety of classes (aerobics, swim, dance, etc) and have event spaces to rent. There's plenty of parking and outdoor space, well positioned next to a high school and outdoor field. Nearby walking trails and outdoor tennis courts exist. Cole Harbour Place is on a main road which allows for easy commuting by foot, bicycle, or car.

Positive experience: I play hockey here regularly. They have a library, a great family pool, a gym and many programs. What more could you want in a community facility?

Fantastic experience: While the facility itself isn't perfect the staff are what really gives this place a perfect score. You won't find a more helpful and friendly group of people at other facilities (unless the ones from CHP are at the other facilities pitching in to help there, too!)

Positive experience: Great place to play squash. I rated 4 stars due to the lack of humidity control. It was awful. Also they need more cameras outdoors to catch when people scratch with their cars other parked cars. Drivers are horrible.

Fantastic experience: Excellent playground. Totally enclosed, with a couple nice tables and benches, means you can let your kid run wild while you relax. Looks new, and well maintained, so it's a strong choice. Would be a little different if there were people around, but it was alone when we went.

Fantastic experience: Love Cole Harbour Place and all their staff! They learn your name and your families and make you feel welcomed. The pool and the rinks are great and so are the fitness instructors.. it's literally a one stop shop, and my family and I use everything they offer.

Fantastic experience: Really good time! Took the kids to the pool for March Break. $3 a person, can't beat that and I know the kids will sleep peacefully tonight.
