Fantastic experience: This is my favorite clean outdoor lane spot highly recommended . I grew up here doing swimming lessons in the 90s. They also have 2 slide and a deep end sun tanning area drinks and in the winter a hockey arena. Great part of the community

Positive experience: Great place for 50 m lane swims and outdoors is a bonus. Downside is there is a few raunchy people in the slower lanes that don't even swim too much and just say nasty things to other swimmers. Come on folks...you actually live Waterloo...don't do the KITCHENER !!

Fantastic experience: I liked it. It is a bit cold water, but the personal is friendly, slides work and not to much people. I hope you will always follow the limits of the visitors. It works for our family .

Fantastic experience: Helped me during a schizophrenic episode in a compassionate way on September 10th. Also a season pass here is cheap like only a hundred dollars and can be covered by fee assist if you are on ODSP or Ontario Works or low income. Just go to 100 Regina Street aka City Hall and ask for the Leisure Access Program.

Negative experience: Had a horrible experience today. The Life guard who was the manager gave both my kids a swim test and said they both failed even though they both passed swimming lessons at the ymca. And both can swim. He was rude about it and would not give them another chance.

Negative experience: The pool is outdoor, though of decent length ... Swimming lessons are of short insufficient duration ... Long waiting period makes facilities inaccessible during the season

Fantastic experience: Water is crystal clear. Wasn’t too crowded on a week day for public swimming. Brought my own little chair and spent a very relaxing afternoon. Lifeguards tend to their posts diligently. $6.75 drop in without a pass was totally worth it.

Positive experience: I didn't go into the Community Centre, but they have nice grounds for trail walking and an oudoor playground for kids. Dog friendly.

Fantastic experience: I like pools. The staff are excellent. It isn't too expensive. The pool is clean and well organized. The water slides and unconventional deep end make for a large shallow end that's quite nice for lanes. All around it's pretty brilliant. Oh yeah, the staff are great.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful facility. Reasonable entrance fee that appears to be well used in cleaning and upkeep. We used the pool. It was spectacular. 4 slides... Baby slide, children's slide and 2 adult slides, one open and one closed. I taught my grand-twins to swim there. They were thrilled.

Fantastic experience: Very good atmosphere! Friendly staff, swim pool really nice and temperature around 26/27C. Pos pandemic we need to register, but it is still a good place to go with your family.

Positive experience: Lots of room to spread out. Water is refreahing on a warm day. Would like to see more uniform enforcement of the arms reach policy for yellow wrist band. A few parents not even in the pool with their children wearing yellow wrist bands.

Fantastic experience: Be warned that there are a lot of customers who don't pre-register and subsequently make the entry process slower. I recommend bringing headphones for when these customers then start loudly complaining about their decisions. Also recommend pre-registration for this reason. Staff are great and place is safe.

Negative experience: Horrible experience at Moses Springer. From being yelled at by the lady out in front when we arrived, to having a life guard tower over us the entire time we were in the pool the experience was altogether horrible. We were warned that one adult can't watch 3 kids even when the kids were not in the pool at all. Other highlights include having to clear the pool deck 5 minutes after the swim is over (try that with two small kids) and not being allowed to change at all. They need to look at the Harry Class pool in Kitchener for some tips on how to run a swimming pool efficiently during a pandemic. Will not be back here.

Negative experience: By far the worst management I’ve ever experienced. Had to call 3 days in a row just to try and get help registering and I still haven’t gotten someone who knows anything and can help… been told every time I call that I have to wait till a “full timer” is in. I don’t know how they only have a part time person working that doesn’t even know anything…. Needs to be a manager in or a more experienced employee!!!!!

It's cold in the arena so if you plan going to see your son, daughter, grand-daughter ,grandson, nephew, niece make sure you take a warm blanket or dress warm. The concession is closed permanently as far as I know, been going there for over 3 years during the winter and summer, ice hockey, inline hockey .

Big deck, lots of spots for the towel, raised deck to eat and place for parties and picnics. 2 huge umbrellas for the super sunny days, 2 great water slides open 1 hour after opening to 1hour before close. Small lines, great people, lots of lifeguards. 6.30$ for an adult to swim is like 1$ an hour for a huge pool. Great community center, great staff. Lockers are 25 cents and it returns your quarter when you put the key back. 1 star missing because the pool is not heated. It is cold at the start of the day even on the hottest of days. Warmest between 4-6 pm. With a center this size and a pool this popular the city should find the small amount of money it costs to install a heater. It would be sooo much more popular then. I swim at lots of heated outdoor pools in Toronto and they are free to the public.
