Positive experience: Female swimming day must clarify that two years old child can join his mama !! Up to 5 yrs old !! Must fix this issue !

Fantastic experience: I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to Janessa, the supervisor at my daughter's summer camp program, who truly made the experience unforgettable. From the very beginning, Janessa and my daughter, Nessa, became inseparable friends, creating a bond that brought Nessa so much joy and comfort throughout her time at camp. Janessa’s genuine care and attentiveness stood out every day. She went above and beyond to ensure that Nessa's life-threatening allergies were carefully managed, even making accommodations where possible to keep her safe. Janessa’s proactive communication reassured me that my daughter was in good hands, allowing me to feel confident that Nessa’s needs were always a priority. Janessa’s warmth, dedication, and natural gift for working with children make her an invaluable asset to the community centre and camp program. She not only brought out the best in Nessa but also left a lasting impression on her summer experience that we will cherish. Positive experience: Our daughter took swimming lessons here, it was great However, the swimming pool is a bit too small and crowded for public swimming

Fantastic experience: Great swimming place and swim class spot, near plaza and hospital.

Positive experience: The gym is maintained well, everything is clean and the staff is helpful. Few weight equipments are old, so the adjustments are hard as it's rusty at the adjusting areas. The wet wipes are always available to clean the equipment. I observed that most of them are also cleaning their used equipment immediately after use. As of me, this place is better than most of the gyms in Brampton.

Fantastic experience: Amazing pool and gym

Negative experience: Garage system, terrible management and utter nonsense of a facility. The only thing going for these guys is the pool. I've come in to cancel my account 4 times. Not once. 4 TIMES. I've been charged the last 3 months even though it should have been cancelled. Upon cancelling your membership and closing your account at other facilities you get an email or a letter of acknowledgement that your account has been closed. Here at wellness, THERE IS NO PROOF. You get nothing. Not an email, text, printout, scroll, essay... nothing. How can someone even verify if their account is cancelled? Oh, that's right they cant. Don't waste your time, energy or money on this terrible failure of a facility.

Negative experience: Very small pool. Sessions are poor and Instructors are not trained enough...even on the last day of the training we were not provided any feedback - just handed over the card by someone else.

Fantastic experience: I take my kid for swimming classes here, the instructors are very calm and putting in lots of efforts for my kid who is Kind of afraid to step in pool.

Positive experience: Best changeroom and showers of all the City of Brampton fitness centers. The city front desk staff at other rec centers are usually catty but you actually have to encounter them here because theyre right by the fitness front desk. Unwelcoming and glaring. They put me in a bad mood every time i go. Even the gym desk staff here doesnt greet or acknowledge you here 90% of the time, it's weird.

Fantastic experience: The gym here is open and big, the pool is crowded but sizeably big, the facility also offers rooms for get together and organizing small functions, depending upon the size requirements at a very affordable price (20$ an hour for up to 30 people capacity, Or two rooms combined, with 30 people capacity each for 40$ an hour. The parking is plenty and location is easy to find, right next to the Brampton Civic Hospital. You can also book the Professor’s Lake Recreation center from here.

Negative experience: 7 kids are crammed in one lane for swimming lessons, instructors barely give 5 mins to one kid and keep chatting with other staff, rip off

Fantastic experience: Community centre is spacious enough for Paint Parties, we had a group of 15 and seating arrangements were made in advance as requested. Pricing is reasonable and needs to pay for music separately.

Fantastic experience: everything is so clean and people are very friendly

Positive experience: Nice place. Good equipment. Doesn't smell like sweat. The only downfall is when you show up at 5pm, the place is packed. People at the machines huddle together to talk and look at videos. Makes it extremely hard for those that want to come in, workout and get home. Perhaps staff can look into this.

Positive experience: Comparatively small community center with small swimming pool compared to Cassie Campbell and Gore Meadows. There is a party hall for birthday or other celebrations. A nice gym. Plenty of parking spots. The center is adjacent to the civic center.

Positive experience: It was very nice. I went there for a bridal shower. They rented out one of their rooms. The staff helped us with whatever we needed. The only thing it could have used was a kitchen, but we worked with it and they were super kind.

Negative experience: No hot tube available during public swims. Shower area is common between males and females. Susan Fennel facilities are much better!

Positive experience: Great rec location, updated swimming area. One star less cuz the vending machines are faulty.

Fantastic experience: The amazing wellness centre contains a pool, & gym. The area of the swimming pool is huge so can accommodate a lot of folks. The gym is also equipped with every machine you can think of. A must try as annual membership for swimming and skating is CA$ 99.99/-.

Fantastic experience: Clean, lots of available machines, a great track for walking, running or jogging, all in a new facility. The customer service was excellent from the person who helped me when I asked for a tour. Also, free parking even though it might seem a bit confusing with all the hospital parking around. I will definitely be going here more often!

Negative experience: This place is disgusting. Most people don't wipe machines down after use, very little signage stating that this is a requirement. Staff are rude and typically just standing around, on their phones. Talked to a staff member about people not wiping down machines and they looked at me like I was growing a third eye and said that there is nothing they are able to do. Many people just use the gym as a social gathering place, just sitting on machines talking to each other or on their phones, making it hard to get on machines. Staff do nothing to curb this behavior. This place is a health & safety disaster waiting to happen.

Fantastic experience: I used to enjoy taking my boys 4or 5 years old to activities both adults, now i enjoy getting senior discount.

Positive experience: Love this place. since I was 12 years old, I've had countless memories. I have been wanting to join the gym side but I mostly go for the pool, hot tub and sauna. The only issue I have is that with an adult fee for swimming ( $2.89 ) , you don't get to use the sauna or hot tub. You would have to pay 9 dollars just to use those other facilities which I find shouldn't be the case. Other places around Brampton don't charge for the sauna or hot tub . Other than that. Great place.

Negative experience: They are very unprofessional with the kids in swimming classes , supervisors are very rude with kids , they doesn’t know how to deal with kids in a gentle way. They hold their little arms too strong And always with bad attitude.

Positive experience: This is only a review for the swimming pool. Pool is a good design but I found it too shallow for swimming. Only the portion in the middle of the lanes, marked blue and white, was deep enough. For about 20’ at each end it is marked red and white and was too shallow. My feet hit the bottom as I tried to swim. I noticed people who were swimming on their back had no problem. The weight room looks awesome

Negative experience: Very bad experience in swimming area. My daughter was registered for splash 2 but it was too crowded there and instructed were not looking after my daughter and they didn’t Taught her anything. They should hire more staff and register less people.

Fantastic experience: I have registered for the adult swimming lessons here. The instructors are very good. The pool is well maintained (temperature controlled too), and the shower, change rooms, lockers are decent as well. All other staff members are very helpful and cooperative.

Negative experience: The pool water is dirty. My kid got eye infection after her first class. Unbelievable that after just minimal exposure to the water in a half hour class with a lot of waiting between turns, she got a severe eye infection. This has never happened to us before and we frequent water parks. Maybe this is why there were so many spots available at this location even weeks after registration opened.

Fantastic experience: We rented the party rooms for our kids Communion. The room was set up as requested and on time. During the function the staff were always available and very quick with any requests we had. More chairs and garbage bags. Overall great experience.

Negative experience: The place and staff is messed up beyond imagination. All they do is chit chat amongst themselves near the reception. 4 days back while doing a sprint run on treadmill i bent my feet and hurt both of my legs real bad. None of the staff noticed it or helped, all they were doing were TALKING TO EACH OTHER. Thanks City of Brampton by paying the freeloaders, who continue to do nothing.

Fantastic experience: We did book community room for my husband’s bday party. It was really nice room. Receptionist was welcoming

Positive experience: Warm pool, nice ramp access, perfect for elderly or mobility challenged. Hot tub too to sit and relax or do short walking in. Only issue is how shallow the pool is. For some, like myself, the hands while swimming can scrape the floor. Long limbed and taller people be aware.

Fantastic experience: Good place for holding a function for 30-45 people. I believe enough space available in hall1 and 2.

Negative experience: My daughter has competed in various sports events during the last 4-5 years, have won medals in the cross-country and other sports and ranked top 10 in peel region. Recently she was enrolled in this wellness center along with her coach for a LIGHT training session for the winter. We are being targeted and harassed in the wellness center by a fitness co-ordinator/programmer. He has issued warning to the coach not to train her in the wellness center and is constantly being targeted. Again, we are not obstructing or posing any problems to anyone in the wellness center. Also we are paying for 2 memberships, this is very upsetting and demotivating. No action has been taken by the wellness staff even after sending a formal email.
