Positive experience: This is a nice gym with a lot of equipment and cardio to choose from! The women's section could've been bigger with more equipment but it's kept clean. Front desk is always nice and professional. The only thing I would say is to keep up with machines that are broken on a regular basis. Other than that it's a nice gym.

Positive experience: I got my first ever gym membership at this gym in 2016 and got a membership again this summer after returning to Brampton. This is one of the locations that still has a really diverse staff of friendly individuals and I really appreciate that. I want to send a special shout out to the personal trainer Adi who gave me a great first session that made me motivated to come back when I was at a really low point, and is always A pleasure to run into when I stop by this location. I give four stars and not five because I am not a fan with how packed it is nearly all the time and because of the pool water quality being on the less chlorinated side, which I don’t prefer. Otherwise, the machines are all usually in good working order and they offer amazing classes. I think it’s a great place for people to go whether they want to work out for a little bit or spend a few hours there. Definitely definitely worth checking out.

Fantastic experience: You want to train with Adi, ask after him, a trainer with experience, having client interest at heart, able to meet you where you are, very committed in working with you and for you. This trainer is very encouraging, he does not only sees you as a job to get done, but as an individual desiring to meet a goal and as such he will set the trend and fight through with you. Fantastic experience: Best goodlife in Brampton. The only place that doesn't smell like defecation. The staff are nice as well. Chest day goes crazy
Negative experience: Terrible staff havent been to a goodlife for 4 years and had a free daypass to come in with, didnt get the employees name but he wouldn’t let me come in with the free pass. Then i opted to sign up for a membership and kept getting an error on the computer they provided me to use. Employee couldn’t offer a solution or allow me to use the gym with day pass. Ended up leaving the employee couldnt even register a new member properly. Other locations confirmed if you haven't been to goodlife for a year you can come in with a free guest pass.

Negative experience: Been a member and going for over few years, horrible employees didnt get his name but did not allow a guest workout even with a guest pass for someone who hasnt been in a goodlife for years (conformed from other location it works if havent used in a year..) system when tryed making pass showed error had no answer to the error cant explain why its happening or give a solution it ended with us leaving.. JOKE OF A GYM

Negative experience: The equipment is always broken, the staff barely or hardly greet you. They have sticks up their behinds,. The management needs to be fired and bring in customer service oriented staff. They need to reduce the number personal trainers they have on the floor.

Negative experience: This is the worst gym I have ever been to. 1. Weights are always missing (are people stealing them?) 2. I’ve seen men jump into the pool with their sweaty gym clothes on. Others don’t shower before entering the pool. Management needs to be on top of that. Put a sign on the door that they can read before entering the pool, please. It’s very unhygienic. 3. It feels super humid and smelly so they need to circulate more air around this gym. 4. Women’s section is so small and there is no space. 5. Women’s section has ONE proper bench so it’s always taken. There used to be two! 6. Resistance on some machines in both sections are so old and should be replaced. 7. Employees should be proactive when new clients join GoodLife. Teach them gym etiquette, add SIGNS with RULES around the gym. A lot of people don’t wipe down equipment after it’s used, they put the weights in the wrong place, basic hygiene is being forgotten!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this gym for a year now and the truth is the staff is always very friendly. there are quite a few machines with similar functions even though like any place there are hours which get very crowded. but in general it is pleasant if you go at little crowded times.

Positive experience: This gym was so much better pre-pandemic. There’s only so much blame you can put on the workers, because lots of the members that go here completely lack any etiquette whatsoever. Weights not re racked properly, people hogging equipment, etc. Many machines are constantly broken and take weeks, if not months to get fixed. Paper towels/ spray bottles are also constantly empty. I also notice that the staff never clean up the mess left by other members until maybe 30 minutes before they close. If you come during the morning or early afternoon, you’ll definitely have a much better experience. If you go during the evening, it’s practically the same thing as any other gym in this city. Considering how many staff are usually there at any given time, this facility should be in a lot better condition. This location especially has undoubtedly sold more memberships in the last couple years than they have before, but I haven’t seen them invest that money into necessary additions. This gym used to be great but a combination of mismanagement and the rude members that don’t clean up after themselves has made it like every other gym in Brampton. Also, about once every couple months pipes in the ceiling will burst and leave all the equipment underneath unusable. And please, never pay for the personal training here. The amount of times I’ll see trainers on the phone just looking at their clients do basic exercises is absolutely ridiculous considering how much money they charge.

Positive experience: My trainer Adi is amazing. Very personable and takes my personal fitness goals seriously. This was my first time using a personal training service and he made me feel extremely comfortable. Adi is very knowledgeable and I couldn’t be happier. I would encourage anyone who is looking to start their journey to begin with him. Staff in the front are nice and always smiling upon entry. In regards to the actual gym, the machines are always broken, and very poor ventilation. You can barely breathe while working out. For the price GoodLife members pay you would expect better conditions of equipment and proper air circulation.

Negative experience: please work on the integrity of the gym anywhere you go they say it’s closed even the gym closed at 11 PM , I go to swimming pool at 10:15 PM. He told me please don’t go inside. I want to check the swimming pool right now. I said you can check it later on at least give me 15 minutes. He said no if the gym timing is still 11, why are you close the pool at 10 PM? That’s the worst thing earlier. I was with Fitness. It was never happened I just quit it because of the time issue but here also I am facing the problem which is not even acceptable, secondly, when you go into the bathroom, there is no soap no conditioner. You should fill it on time.

Negative experience: This goodlife location doesn't prioritize client's health. Once they sell you the sessions, they no longer care about you...its all about client's pockets. I paid full amount for my sessions, and when given 24 hour notice, PT wouldn't even reschedule any sessions. Availability was poor. Overall, the people in the team are nice except the Management team...specifically supervisor Chris. He is rude and ignores to solver any issues. Work out but PLEASE, DO NOT pay for the sessions. It's fraud and just not worth it.

Fantastic experience: I started my fitness journey on the first week of May on a different gym even though i was able to lose weight i wanted more guidance on what to do next. I applied for a member ship at bramlea goodlife fitness and took a 2 week personal training program. I highly recommend Prashant as a personal trainer. Even though i only had 6 sessions with him i learned alot, he showed me my flaws and help me correct my form to better target the intended muscle for the exercise i was doing. Prashant helped me clarify what i needed to achieve my goal instead of me searching in the internet and get more confused. I highly recommend anyone whos starting there fitness journey to get a personal training program at goodlife.

Negative experience: They need to step their game up here. The gym is a mess and the amount of machines down for maintenance is significant enough to discourage me from going to this particular gym. Change rooms really need to be cleaned more frequently as well.

Negative experience: Most of the gym equipment is malodorous, and there is a lack of proper ventilation in the gym, resulting in a suffocating atmosphere. Additionally, the absence of fresh air circulation is concerning, especially considering the gym's location in the basement. Despite these issues, it appears that the administration is unable to regulate the temperature effectively. Furthermore, there seem to be some management-related concerns that need to be addressed.

Negative experience: I registered for a three day pass. I received a call from the representative and advised the representative that I was in the parking lot. She said to come in and failed to notify me that I needed a piece of ID. Once I arrived I received the confirmation email. The representative refused to accept my digital piece of ID stating it is law to provide a physical piece of ID. Once I advised the representative that this was a misinformation and requested to speak to their superior, a male came and stated it is policy. I had a picture of a valid physical ID and was denied entry. This is unacceptable customer service, I drove 30 mins to have my time wasted. The representative then began to be combative when I was voicing my concerns.

Negative experience: Blonde girl at the front too busy chatting and flirting with the other workers when approached. Staff at the front always acts like it’s a burden to stop chatting to say hello to a paying member. It’s called customer service, if you can’t bother do give a simple “hello”, find another job. Women’s section absolutely disgusting. Never cleaned or wiped down. Washrooms have toilet paper all over the floors, sinks not wiped down. Sanitizer, tissue paper and paper towels are always out and a worker is never here to check to refill, especially in changeroom area. Machines that are out of service are always broken for so long. Bottle of sanitizer practically empty at 10am, attachments everywhere, leg press machine been out of order for 3-4 weeks now. Women’s section is there for a reason, because women are not comfortable working out in co-ed section yet you don’t ever have the proper machines or have them fixed to have them available for women. Tells you they don’t really care about making the experience for women. Giving me a number/or email to call/ contact for more “details” is not the resolution. Have your staff do their jobs which includes cleaning and stocking up supplies instead of being paid to stand there and talk about their personal lives while flipping their hair. Do better GoodLife.

Negative experience: Extremely disappointed with GoodlifeFitness I cancelled my membership in Dec 2023 but still facing charges. Multiple calls to customer service have been met with hostility & blame, demanding proof of cancellation. It's frustrating to see such unethical practices. They make it difficult intentionally to stop the membership so that they can charge you for a few extra months.

Fantastic experience: I’m always impressed by this location. Upon arriving I’m always greeted warmly by Armeen at the front desk who’s exceptional at what she does. Always ensuring the members feel welcomed, always has the answers to any of my questions regarding my membership, and overall she’s just amazing. Its staff like her who give the members of the gym the best possible experience. I’ve had greeters at other gyms before not really care about that welcoming feeling and it shows. Fantastic experience: Best gym in the entire Milky Way Galaxy HANDS DOWN. My life was BLESSED the day HARDEEP signed us up. If you want to sign up, GO TO HARDEEP for the most honest and greatest service! Also, the front desk is what sets this gym apart, and makes it better than the rest. The crew is LITTYY and will go down in history as the greatest class of staff in the GL Hall of Fame! This gym is def the place to be if you want to get deezed and meet your fitness goals, while meeting the best people and receiving A1 hospitality from the staff. Fantastic experience: Have been going to this gym for over a decade now and is truly one of the best. The atmosphere, the culture and staff are phenomenal - they welcome all gym-goers, from beginner to advance. I dealt with one employee named Poorna, he was amazing to deal with. Negative experience: It is always a disappointment going to this location. Firstly the staff on weekends are useless, they are just gossiping, fooling around or busy on their phones. There is no ventilation in this place, people can even faint if there is more humidity. No sanitizers, no paper towels, no soap and staff doesn't even bother to refill them. Once the machine is broken, it takes weeks to fix it. Now rather than pasting a scripted reply, hire a better staff that actually cares about the job.
Negative experience: Want to be completely ignored by front staff? Come to goodlife BCC. They’re always on their phones and talking to each other despite the members in sight. Paper towels are empty, washrooms are filthy, no soap by the sinks after 7pm, sanitizers are barely full, weights are all over the area and trash is overflowing. Some afternoons half the gym is sharing one bottle of sanitizer for the machines. Some creepy guy who works here is always mindlessly pacing around the facility for hours staring at everyone working out when he should be restocking and helping members. I deeply regret making this my home gym. Most unpleasant staff. You could literally scan in and the staff will continue talking to each other without looking at you. Always gathered in groups with their backs facing the members. Even if I did need help I wouldn’t ask anyone at BCC. I’d rather call customer service or go to another gym. Evening staff: if you need more hours, please submit an application to Taco Bell in the food court, they also stand around and do nothing their entire shift. These guys have constant plumbing issues. They had a huge flood in 2023 and the change rooms smell moldy and rancid. Some days the water is shut off after 8pm and the gym is open till 10pm/11pm. Insane. If you want a more welcoming experience go to GoodLife at Woodhill. They are always welcoming and helped me get on to a better monthly plan to suit my needs. Clearly the manager keeps them in check. I’ve been going there for 3+ years almost 6 times a week and have never had a bad experience. I only go to the BCC location because it’s across the street from me and is easier to get to during the winter months.

Negative experience: I was chased down by an employee who told me i needed to go back and put the weights back. This was at that area where there are free weights you could put onto the machines. I get that putting back the weights is the expectation, but that WHOLE AREA has weights all over the place and left on machines after being used. I have never seen a staff member ask someone to put the weights back themself. It was a little embarrassing to be called out in front of everyone like that as if I dont have proper etiquette or something. I ALWAYS wipe down machines before and after and re-rack dumbbells. That area that I didn't put the weights back literally has weights left on every machine and in different places. If you're gonna call one person out then you have to call everyone out but only I was called to go back and replace them. I obliged, didn't argue with her or anything when she asked but I was like really? I literally got to the machine with three 45's left on each side but when I removed two and left one, she chased me down and tapped on me (i was wearing headphones) to go back and rerack it. I feel like it was more work to get to me rather than putting the 2 weights back yourself (which i literally did not leave there, and she and another staff member was in the middle of cleaning up that area during closing.) just sharing this experience i think about everytime i go to this location.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to this gym last year and never been this consistent. Friendly staff with possitive attitude. They don't mind giving free tips and advices when asked a question. They alway smile and wave at you. Not as busy as other locations in GTA which is great. The only issue is the cellular signal are not so great depending on where you are in the gym that also can be improved by installing a booster.

Fantastic experience: In my opinion, one of the best gyms in Brampton. It’s got lots of cardio machines, free weights, dumbbells up to 120lbs, multiple squat racks, and deadlift platforms. They offer cycling and aerobic classes, a change room with a sauna, a swimming pool, towel service, and more. The cleaning staff does pretty good job at keeping the gym floor and change rooms tidy. I typically train in the morning, around 7-9 am, and rarely have issues with equipment availability, it's not overly crowded, even during the New Year’s resolution season. With multiple units and a good range of equipment, there's always something available, which is a definite plus for me. While the price for a gym membership is on the higher side, I find the value justifies it, and as a bonus, I have access to multiple gyms across the city. Even though the McLaughlin location is larger with more equipment, this gym is my home club, as it’s just five minutes from where I live. Sometimes I’ll visit the McLaughlin one for a change. Some other features I appreciate include free Wi-Fi, massage chairs in front of a large screen TV for cooling down after workouts. For beginners, there's the added benefit of free access to the GoodLife app, which includes instructional workouts with videos on technique, as well as options for at-home workouts when you can't make it to the gym. The staff are friendly and the environment is great.

Fantastic experience: Hello all, This GoodLife Fitness is an all in one fitness center. An awesome place to sweat yourself out with many interesting add ons like swimming pool, group fitness studio, Sauna bath, experienced personal trainer and fitness advisor with unlimited instruments etc. I have been in many fitness places before but none can match up to this. The most important thing about this workout club is the fitness advisors, they are just outstanding, so genuine, active and friendly. Negative experience: Went here for about a month, then the friend I signed up with went in to cancel his membership, and I asked him to cancel mine as well since we signed up together. The same lady who signed us up didn't the cancelation and told my friend she would cancel mine. A month later I saw the charge come again on my card for another $80 so I called. Turns out I was never canceled, and even tho I requested to be canceled right away I was told I would still be charges an additional month at $80. The facility was nice and clean and the staff were friendly. Just be careful when you sign up to these big corporate gyms, their policies aren't usually explained up front.

Negative experience: Came in with one of my family members as she signed up online for the membership, i myself have been going too this gym for a few years and so had the other person. When we came in we had Parmeet sit as down and talk through everything, as well as personal training, we were running late for a class we had booked because she wouldn’t stop asking questions to myself who had already been a member for years. this isn’t about me why am i myself being questioned. than one my family member decided to not sign up at the very end she was rude and mad that we didn’t choose personal training there. and just stayed with our regular memberships that are already $45 bi weekly. Not so sure how you can be in management and get upset when someone doesn’t want to spend more money. Very rude & very upset with this experience.

Negative experience: I have been a member of GoodLife for many years. I’ve been all over Canada visiting a large number of GoodLife gym in many different cities across the country. I have to say that this gym is well layout,, but it truly is the dirtiest gym I have ever been in. The washrooms are extremely dirty towels all over the floor, paper towels all over the place, people just don’t care in this gym. no one cleans the equipment before or after use, machines are always broken down and take forever to have them fixed! People sitting around on their phones taking up the machines are are operating well. The workers and trainers there for the most part don’t even clean the equipment. Truly disgusting. I’ve personally owned my own gym and would never allow this to continue!!

Negative experience: Not nearly enough flat benches or squat racks for public use. Almost as many squat racks in the private area (which is almost always empty, only employees go workout in there) as the public area. Almost impossible to get a squat rack or flat bench anytime outside of 6am

Negative experience: I've been coming to this location for years. Over the last year, the maintenance here has been very little or next to none. Machines are constantly breaking, mostly to the incompetence of members slamming things and dropping weights, and are not being repaired. Red tape is wrapped around it, and it is forgotten about. Currently out of 6 stair climbers, 3 are out of commission. This creates congestion of members trying to all use the same equipment, while other options are taped up. Does anyone even come in to repair anything here? Constant leaks from the ceiling, and air conditioning is non-existent at times. It's unfortunate because the club is great on a staff and fellow member basis otherwise.

This super fan is placed at same spot from last few weeks with some problem in it as it doesnt work according to staff but always plugged in socket. (Dky) …. Staff is good at service but facility is so hot in d morning to lift good weights and perform HIIT.

Negative experience: Worst customer service ever. They don’t even know how to cancel the membership and I have to wait 45 minutes to get it cancel and the issue is still not resolved. The guy at the front desk JAZZ is the most foolish person , I have ever seen in my life. People working getting paid to do nothing because they don’t even know how to operate a system.

Negative experience: This Goodlife fitness branch is like an unmanaged apartment building. Most members leave their weights right where they finish their sets. They drag benches all over the club just to sit on it. While other members waiting for benches. It's a zoo there.
