Fantastic experience: I had to write in to say I have never seen a gym so spotless! It Jeff (the new manager) cleans the gym from top to bottom every morning. He is so friendly and approachable. You can honestly tell that he takes complete pride in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment. I am So very grateful for everything he does to keep the gym so clean and so organized.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of Uxbridge Anytime Fitness for many years now. After a long hiatus, I finally returned to the gym to find out a new owner had taken over. When I first walked in I was taken away by the transformation, shortly after I was greeted by Jeff, who was super inviting and friendly despite me forgetting my FOB. He cares about the cleanliness and quality of the gym and it clearly shows. I reccomend any old and new members looking for a nice new change of pace to come to Uxbridge Anytime to see for yourselves. Thanks Jeff, for sparking my interest back into the gym. Looking forward to seeing the new members and positive environment you bring to the community.

Negative experience: DO NOT GO HERE! They will not let you cancel your plan once you sign the papers, even if you are very clearly within the terms and conditions. Save yourself the hassle/stress and go elsewhere. There are way better gyms in Uxbridge who will not try to scam you.

Negative experience: Money grabbers, they want more than other locations. The main lady there tries to make it seem cheap when it not for how small the place is. Canceling was also a nightmare. Maybe sign up at a different location.

Fantastic experience: Anytime Fitness Uxbridge is great the staff is very friendly and the equipment is always clean. If you’re like me and you don’t like an overcrowded gym this is perfect for you because there’s a steady flow of members and no true “peak” time. Also it’s 24/7 everyday so as long as you have your membership fob you can exercise anytime you want. Overall it’s a great gym and I can’t recommend them enough.

Fantastic experience: I just joined and it’s been such a great decision! The 24/7 feature is amazing for me as a mom of two kids, I can go once they go to bed! It’s clean and has great equipment. Really happy that I joined. Lovely staff members as well.

Negative experience: Beware, you will not be able to cancel contracts here. Owners use grimy gym practices. Single mom here, unable to go to this gym bc I have no one to watch my son consistently anymore (I workout 4/week). They told me my only options were to pay the rest of the remaining term, find someone to take over contract, or put my son in daycare. Found someone to take contract and that they would be transferring membership to another gym in the city. Now the owner is telling me I misunderstood her and they “don’t do that”. Which is just a flat out lie. They won’t answer my emails or send me a copy of my contract after I asked them if they were legally allowed to deny verbal agreements per clause on said contract. Gym is also very small and not worth what they’re charging. Edit: After this review, owner emailed me my contract 3x at 3am after ignoring my emails last week and my request for my contract. The owners are not honest and they make verbal agreements that they will not commit to. Verbal agreements are actually legally enforceable in a court hence why they didn’t want to send the contract once I asked them if there was a written clause on said contract about verbal representations being void. To add, I’ve been asking to cancel since May 31. Contracts in Canada can be mutually terminated. I offered to pay the difference of the higher rate for the months I used, which would be $140 instead of the $300 I have been locked in to pay. It’s a grimy gym tactic we have all seen before, it’s just surprising for Uxbridge where I’ve encountered a lot of town hospitality. From the other reviews, I can tell I’m not the only person unhappy with this business and I doubt I’ll be the last so I’ll leave my review with some solid advice: not all money is good money.

Negative experience: Clean and small. Membership options are limited. I was bounced around by staff and in the process I realized I was being lied to about ownership/management. Time is money why waste your own and others time. Would not recommend. Small gym which was a selling point from the organizations POV, but reminiscent of membership fees and contracts of larger gyms. Fees are too high for what you get - $60.00 initiation fee and $65.00 per month for equipment and online classes.

Positive experience: Mostly clean and not crowded in the mornings. But evenings could be busier and might be a wait time for equipment. Customer service is good.

Negative experience: Very difficult to deal with these people. No mix up nobody answers the phone at your gym .... your really fast to respond to reviews it would be nice if emails were responded to fast or even at all. According to your other reviews I'm not the only one having this issue.

Negative experience: If you feel anytime fitness broke their contract terms and wrongfully renewed you, please reach out to me as you may be added as an additional plaintiff to my case up until the assigned court date free of charge and may be entitled to a refund as well as to file criminal fraud charges. I originally signed up in October 2019, these guys are not honest business people and it is entirely mismanaged, if they defrauded you, there are several ways to make a small claim against them of which I am actively pursuing. Do not believe the owner when they say changes can me made via email they are not being honest, they also lied to all their clients and said they would credit lost time once you come back but they immediately charged everyone on the first month of re-opening. I have many many different email logs with staff regarding this issue which I have shared. I was charged a renewal fee despite not even getting officially renewed I did not sign up for automatic renewal. I inquired why I was still being charged December 5th 2020 despite my signing a 12 month term in October 2019, I then request to cancel again on December 10th, 18th and December 20th via email and got nowhere until December 22nd. It has also come to my attention that you are holding individuals under 18 obligated to the contract, your policy states that if the parent or guarding no longer offers consent the membership may be cancelled. It is also against Ontario law to hold individuals accountable under the of 18 to a contract, so you have broken Ontario law and consumer protection laws. We will be attending court and receiving a full refund and potential criminal charges. I have reached out to the rest of the people you have defrauded and the total claim is only going to rise from here on out. Because you broke Ontario law, and consumer protection laws repeatedly, as well as your own company policy, you may be subjected to losing your business license under violation of local Ontario codes or ordinances. I found this in the sample contract which seems relevant to my situation. 10.5 Other ways you can cancel this Agreement in the Minimum Term You can also cancel your Membership in the following ways and without paying a Cancellation Fee: (d) When prior notice is NOT required You may cancel without giving us prior notice if: (v) we break an Essential Term and have not fixed this in a reasonable time of you asking us in writing; 20. GENERALLEGAL MATTERS 20.1 Unexpected events We are not responsible if Members cannot use our Club because of an event caused by a natural force (such as a fire or a flood) or a road or building closure or something similar beyond our reasonable control. If this continues for more than 30 days, then either you or we may cancel this Agreement immediately by written notice. No Fee will apply. I received no notice of missed payment, no notice of being taken to collections nothing. "Following is one of the reasons where a Member can rightfully cancel "(a)____or at any time the OPERATOR appears to be unable to reasonably complete the services within the period of time stated by the OPERATOR, (b) when the services are no longer available, or are no longer substantially available as provided in the Agreement, because of the OPERATOR's discontinuance of operation or substantial change” From the Ontario court of justice “Contracts give parties the opportunity to ask for the assistance of the courts if one party “breaches the contract” by not living up to its end of the bargain. This means, for example, that party A can sue party B if B does not fulfill its obligations under the contract.” So no, your contract does not defend you from defrauding people, it goes both ways, the terms of the contract were not met and I had every right to cancel whenever I wanted, even though I cancelled at the end of my 12 month term anyway. The judge will have to decide who did not keep their end of the bargain here and it certainly was not me.

Fantastic experience: Signed up here in June and started training with George. He is a very knowledgeable trainer and created a plan for me based on my needs. So far I’m down 15 lbs. He really helps me stay focused and on track! So glad that I’ve signed up here.

Fantastic experience: Hands down this is the best 24/7 gym! Friendly staff and very clean and maintained. A big bonus is getting access to all Anytime Fitness locations.

Negative experience: This gym ends up being more expensive than bodyfit in uxbridge and bodyfit is 24hr and way bigger. Anytime charges you maintainence fees and basically refuses to let you cancel and I have heard of people who kept getting charged even after they cancelled. They got very rude with me when we finally went in to cancel in person (since they wouldn't let us cancel remotely)

Fantastic experience: It’s so great to be a part of this gym! The facility is always kept really clean, as a matter of fact we get emails with proper shoe etiquette reminders which I really appreciate. The equipment works well, even though it’s a small gym it’s never super busy and there’s plenty of options where to work out. The staff is friendly and welcoming so is definitely recommend this gym! I’d love to see maybe a digital scale that we can use but other than that it’s a great investment!!

Fantastic experience: Been a member since this place opened. It has all I need and caters for all fitness levels. Staff are always very helpful and great to chat to. It's never to busy and the staff keep it clean. There is a good selection of free weights as well as machines. The staff and owners are very helpful and listen to their members. Great place to work out.
