Fantastic experience: Great gym and the friendliest staff.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member for a few years and I really like Ironworks. Everyone is friendly and willing to spot you if needed, and the staff is great too. I also really appreciate that it’s 24/7 because I am a shift worker and find myself going at weird times as my schedule allows it (lots of midnight lifts as I call them). Great gym. Great people. Strong recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Ironworks for well over 25 years. When I first starting going, I was overwhelmed by the equipment and "strength training language". I even tried to draw little pictures on a piece of paper telling me what the triceps and biceps and quads were and which piece of equipment went with what. I didn't need to do this after all, the staff and fellow gym goers were eager to help without being pushy. The gym never ever was intimidating and right from day one I felt comfortable and accepted. There is every age group and people are warm and accepting. The staff are zoned in to help each and everyone of the members and are consistently adding new things such as classes, nutrition and goal setting and encouragement. The staff are a main part of what makes the gym special. I consider the gym my home away from home and the members my family away from my family. Five star all the way!

Fantastic experience: I needed to get in better shape. I started eating clean and needed the motivation to keep active and social. Iron works has been an amazing place to help people reach their goals and are very knowledgeable. I would recommend this place to colleges, friends or family to workout in a judgement free zone with very knowledgeable staff to help you with fitness or nutrition needs.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member at Ironworks gym for over 10 years. It was my first gym I ever joined. My family and I appreciate the expert knowledge of all of the trainers. There is always someone nearby to help setup the machines properly and help us maintain safe form. There are many classes available from gentle stretch, muscle building cardio, spin and yoga all levels. The management is exceptional in every aspect. The cleanliness, quality of equipment, professional and friendly staff and zero judgement environment is first class across the board. Try Ironworks if you haven't yet. They will make you feel right at home whether a beginner or a pro. I will never go anywhere else.

Positive experience: Good equipment and a great owner who truly cares about his community. Ironworks did everything they could to legally stay open during COVID lockdowns. However there isn’t enough staff presence throughout this gym to remind members of proper gym etiquette.

Fantastic experience: A spacious community oriented facility with a large assortment of well maintained fitness equipment. The wellness centre is exceptionally clean and sanitary. Great friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff. The gym is accommodating to all people regardless of fitness levels and physical abilities. Would not go elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Ironworks is a very community focused health and wellness centre. They have worked so hard to ensure that people feel safe with multiple upgrades throughout the various waves of the pandemic. I'm so thankful they have created such a safe and community focused space for people to improve their mental and physical health/well-being. I have been attending for almost 4 years now and consider myself a lifer :) Thanks to the whole Ironworks team for their commitment to safety to keep our community healthy.

With great management, im not surprised to see the innovative measures taken to create a clean and safe environment that works. The system in place is both organized and convenient. A better mouse trap then some much larger chain fitness centers

It is very clean, safe and has a great atmosphere. I really like the classic weight section. They have an abundance of machines and free weights for any training goal you might have. If you are looking for a gym in town that's not over crowded and all about getting results head to Iron Works!

C-19 precautions and regulation are STRICT as this facility takes personal and communal health and safety very seriously. Ample parking, excellent accessibility for all ranges of mobility. I really like the atmosphere at Ironworks. Open 24/7. You require a key fob after hours. I definatly recommend this gym to young and old. 5 star rating.

Negative experience: Jordy refused to provide any reimbursement or full extension of my year membership during COVID, citing exactly: “Under the Consumer Protection Act and our contract policies members are not eligible for refund after the initial 10 days of the contract.” He only provided a “lock-in” membership fee, and 2 months credit (out of the many months I had left on my membership). All other gyms in Sarnia were offering automatic extensions of memberships until fully re-opening, OR full reimbursement out of the months left. I feel robbed, since I paid and received literally nothing for all those months. Top notch customer service I really did love this gym, but I can’t help but feel a heavy distaste about this place after this total lacklustre service and support after being a member for over 8 years. I understand small business’ were affected by COVID — just like all of us. *UPDATE*: Jordy, you may post my "options" in an update to your reply, so that any other customer may see as well. Thanks!
