Negative experience: The gym is over priced. Not worth it. And when I asked for a trial pass they wouldnt even let me. Cheap and greedy. LA fitness is way better. Staff is supportive and easy going.

Negative experience: I have been to that gym 5 times now pushing. Not ever going back. Vibes are off. If you are not A+ shape, they make sure make you feel out of place. I was planning to take PT , one of there trainer. Glad I didn’t waste my money as I have observed this trainer in midst of training with one of her client and barely paying attention, instead chatting here and there with everyone else. I can see that client was so uncomfortable, I bet she must be stuck. Also, I already know I will get lots of backlash on this review. I really hope management can improve after reading this. In the meantime please don’t waste your money and energy. It was so unpleasant to go and train there.

Negative experience: I was member at sky fitness for a few months and this gym is way over priced. Also while I was there I notice this gym is full of horn dogs. Absolute creeps! Ladies if you’re signing up BEWARE! There’s a lot of predators!

Fantastic experience: Great gym for free weights, clean and has many machines. The only cons are: parking has become difficult to find, and you will be ticketed if parking in the wrong spot. It can be a busy gym, but that’s true for all places. In short: if you want free weights, squat racks and come at the right time, then it’s a great gym.

Fantastic experience: Sky is amazing! For anyone who is nervous or apprehensive about going to the gym- don’t let that stop you! All the members are so friendly and welcoming. They really make you feel comfortable and like ‘part of the group’. Plus the gym itself is beautiful and super clean. Tons of machines, free weights, squat racks, mirrors, a boxing room, a turf area and a bunch more stuff that a non gym person like myself has no idea about . The change-rooms are immaculate, along with the gym facilities themselves. They also have a good selection of protein drinks and snacks and a branded clothing line available for purchase, as well as a full service barber shop attached.

Fantastic experience: A great place to get motivated without being judged. They are always adding new equipment and serious about getting fit. Ask for Julian, he is a great trainer and you can train with him without paying for a gym membership there. Two for the price of one if you ask me.

Negative experience: Becareful of some of the trainers who work there. Even though they dont officially work for Sky Fitness,Sky lets them work there. Trainers taking money and not training the client. Big red flag when trainers cancel on you all the time.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this gym! The staff/ owners is/ are incredibly kind & caring. They have wonderful trainers there as well & all the members are extremely friendly. The facility itself has top notch equipment and so many squat racks which is a huge bonus & all the machines are in great condition. The gym is also extremely clean. 10/10

Fantastic experience: One of my favourite gyms in Mississauga. The equipment is great everybody that goes you’re super respectful. Staff are super friendly and accommodating. The machines are top notch and there’s so many options it does get quite busy between 430 and 8 PM but everybody’s pretty accommodating to work in between sets. They have multiple stations and the turf and the rack areas are perfect. My only feedback would be to do a better job with the change room to ensure it’s cleaner

Positive experience: Good gym. I’m more of a strength-oriented lifter though. For me having to wait for a squat rack or lifting platform kills my entire workout so the fact they have ~11 means I never have to wait for one. I also purposefully go in times when it is less crowded, so I haven’t ever had to wait for other equipment either. My only problems with this gym are that firstly the shower curtains are transparent because of how bright the lights are inside the showers. Makes no sense. Secondly the lockers are not well maintained and thus usually falling apart. Thirdly the area with the heavier dumbbells has these deep trenches in the floor which is incredibly dangerous if you’re not watching your step. The one close to the 100s is especially deep and I can see someone spraining their ankle easily. For me it’s 4 stars. I’m focused on my heavy lifting, do my workout and get out. But I can see why plenty of folks would have reason to give a lower number of stars to this place.

Fantastic experience: I joined Sky Fitness for a week while I traveled from the US. I cannot recommend it enough. The front desk staff were so kind and helpful. The gym has everything you could possibly need, and more. The entire facility is extremely clean and well maintained. The members are excellent as well. Everyone was friendly and respectful. I even had someone come over and give me a fist bump for my work. While I’m a seasoned gym-going at home, going to a new place is a bit terrifying but it was easy, here, to feel at ease and have an enjoyable workout. I would also strongly encourage any newcomer to the gym to go… check it out… you won’t be disappointed. Also, the weekly membership rate was very competitive to other places, I’m so glad I picked here, though!! Thank you!!

Negative experience: Honestly it's a good gym if you just wanna go get a workout and leave. Sketch marketing scheme getting hot girls on for free and showing them off as meat to get members. They talk a lot about "community" but this community only exists for you if you're a hot girl or a wannabe fitness influencer lol

Positive experience: Pretty good gym but pure juice heads...some will even snap on you because of there out of control test levels. Glad they're open during the lockdown...

Negative experience: Sky Fitness? More like Sky Finesse... They keep the gym looking nice enough to charge ridiculous membership prices. Equipment and number of people is just about the same as any other gym except here it's likely you'll have to park across the street. You could go to LA Fitness across the street for the same equipment plus have access to swimming and a basketball court.

Negative experience: Sky Fitness has an impressive selection of equipment, is fairly well maintained and the new owners seem keen on renovating and improving in this regard. Unfortunately the extra power cages cant make up for the overcrowding. We were constantly waiting for equipment when training any time from 5 to 9PM. Sky Fitness has also reduced the operating hours to close at 11PM; the gym was previously 24/7 under the Planet Workout brand. At Planet Workout I paid $30 a month total for both myself and girlfriend. It is now up to $80 monthly per member for what is essentially Planet Workout painted blue. It's also just difficult to get a workout in without finding yourself a background extra recorded for someone's fitness journey. Staff show no interest in enforcing any amount of camera etiquette, presumably they embrace it as part of the culture there. The gym isn't for us anymore.

Positive experience: Nicest gym around for this price point(if you are paying 50/month). At the LA across the street you have to sign a year long contract, pay a sign on and pay a termination fee if you end membership before the first year ends. Here u pay the same monthly, get a really clean gym, nice lighting, and people actually put their weights back. Good luck finding weights at the LA adjacent to sky. Only downside is sky gets incredibly busy in the evenings and you have to park behind the building and walk to the front. Would be nice if you could enter through the back, especially during winter. The increased 80$ rate is a little excessive imo for the amenities provided, considering there is no sauna and other amenities other gyms provide at a lower rate.

Negative experience: Sad state of affairs with this Gym as getting fined for opening in lockdown risking people's health and safety and now continue charging without consent or giving a heads up to their clients before reopening if they wish to come back .cheap tactics to steal people's money in the name of small business.Gym Manager Ashleigh is a waste of time to accept the mistake to rectify.

Negative experience: They can even do something as simple as keeping their members updated if they are open. Google even shows it being open. It take 1 min to post on fb or their own web site. No update since Nov 28 2020.

Negative experience: Tried cancelling due to the price hike from covid, but whenever I try to call on any given day; no one picks up the phone.. it just goes to some automated message with elevator music & then it says that no one is able to pick up the phone... I’ve called multiple days & at multiple times, so I can ask questions about the membership since I live kinda far from the location... Guess I’ll be wasting my time driving down there to deal with my membership since everyone there is incapable of answering a phone!

Negative experience: Great gym equipment and atmosphere, gym would be 5 stars but they raised their membership price from 25 a month, to 50 a month, and now $80 a month. Ridiculous…

Negative experience: They signed me up for 1 year membership and now won't let me in because theirs a new "covid membership" I see over 100 people at once train in their during lockdown and even with membership won't let me in. Absolutely garbage gym with minimal equipment...

Fantastic experience: Sky Fitness is a fantastic gym, with even better staff and community. The 1 Star reviews complaining about Covid, are a result of their ignorance to the legality of Sky Fitness currently being open - and should have no impact on your perception of Sky.

Negative experience: For some reason this gym only accepts new female members. Very shady i heard stories including myself and other males being denied a membership because of being at capacity but also have females friends signing up without a problem.

Negative experience: DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT give these guys your financial information! I left this gym 2 years ago and gave them formal notice of my membership cancellation, however I still continue to be charged! My membership wasn't even under this new business name, I have no contract or anything in writing expressing Sky Fitness being able to direct withdrawal from my account. Which means they have stolen previous contracts under Planet Workout and continue to charge these people with cancelled memberships. Numerous emails have been sent and promised that it has been resolved when the same thing happens every other month. It is like they are trying to sneak payments in, they will wait a month or sometimes two and then charge me again. This is completely ridiculous and a direct example of their great business tactics. Stay away from this shady business!

Positive experience: Great gym to work out and in be motivated. Great new equipment, lots of squat racks. Gym is clean and doesnt smell. However their prices doubled, parking might be an issue during peak hours and it does tend to get a bit busy. They also only have 1 leg extension so on leg days, there is some waiting involved to use some equipment. Overall though, recommended for people that like to work out.

Fantastic experience: Love this gym!! They have a variety of equipment which allows for all athletes to train comfortably. I’m mostly happy about the many available squat racks and deadlift platforms. Staff are all so nice and welcoming, members are all respectful, and most importantly, the entire facility is SO clean. I love that each member can have their own spray bottle and towel as opposed to having to track one down and waste paper towel.

Negative experience: Leaving this gym due to the spike in price. I had been going to this gym for about 3yrs prior to the name and ownership change, at a consistent price being paid. Now they had upped it by more than double, and at that rate I cannot return to this gym at that price. Even with leaving, they do not try to keep a loyal customer around by offering something better. I understand they had completely renovated the entire gym, and need to recoup that capital put into it, but I would find trying to offer a better rate for loyal customers to keep them around, instead of directly tying it to a majority influencer gym. Shame to see where the gym went, but even worse to see me and many other original customers leave due to these changes

Fantastic experience: I just joined this gym in August and it is absolutely beautiful!! The equipment is new, clean and well maintained. The size of the gym is deceiving from the outside as once you walk in, it is huge! They have a large variety of equipment- something for everyone and the layout is perfect. They currently are offering yoga and pilates classes and they are fantastic!! The instructors are excellent!! The general manager Ashleigh is awesome. She is very friendly, professional and helpful. This is one of the nicest gyms that I have been to and worth every penny!!! Thank you Skyfitness:)

Fantastic experience: This is an amazing gym! Brand new equipment and very friendly staff. There isn’t a line up due to COVID like other gyms and the washrooms are very clean. Plenty of equipment and a functional training area(turf area)for all the members. I hate hate hate waiting in the gym for deadlift platforms& squat racks so this gym is perfect to me too. (4 squat racks + 4 deadlift platforms) I don’t think chalk powder is allowed in the gym so please be aware of that.
