Negative experience: The manger is super annoying he goes up to for anything you do wrong and gets mad over little thing and if he goes up to you and says something wrong instead of apologizing he finds anther reason

Negative experience: Omg the service was unbelievably terrible the workers were as slow as a turtle it is ridiculous

Negative experience: The workers are so rude, not the ones at the front desk but the daycare workers. When im watching my kids and there happens to be a teenager or something just trying to have fun while still being a kid, they are always kicked off because they were have a threat of being “to rowdy” with the little kids. when they do go on the playgrounds they are always nice to the kids already playing on the structure and play games with eachother. But then the workers come and kick them off, like calm tf down they are just trying to have fun. The age should be changed to 16 maximum and if they dont want them playing on the playground with the little kids then just tell them they can go on when the younger kids are off

Negative experience: Some workers are extremely rude and racist. They act like they are above all. Trust me it is not worth it. Go somewhere else.

Positive experience: Absolutely love this place, BUT staff need to put up the biggest signs behind the toilets saying, "PLEASE FLUSH THE TOILET AFTER USE," because the washrooms ALWAYS smell like rank pee!

Positive experience: It is a very well, affordable place. But the pool is normally under repair and when it’s not there are problems with tiles, I have been in the pool when tiles have fallen off. Second the workout area is good but not great there are many machines that are needing of maintenance or repair. As an overall I do enjoy coming here but there are some things that may need work. Everyone that works here is fabulous except the one manager.

Fantastic experience: I want to acknowledge Sonia/Sonya (sp?) and Paige. Sonia is a manager and Paige is a swim instructor at the NW Y. Sonia, thank you for your phenomenal service and attention. It is very much appreciated! Paige, amazing job with swim lessons. Paige is patient, kind and knowledgeable!

Negative experience: Literally the worst experience ever The website is hard to navigate and has nothing regarding prices. We took my 15month old son to go swim and a family pass was cheaper so we were going to do that and they said it was 30$ Yes, 30$ We decided whatever it’s a one off anyways(visiting family from Ontario) Well the. They ask for ID, and won’t let us in because my sister didn’t have it on her, what??? ID to go swimming?? I showed her my ID and she says “oh you’re not from here” what do you mean, because I’m from out of province I came here all the time growing up and I’m so shocked by this experience we decide to leave and go spend our money elsewhere. Highly disappointed and don’t recommend Absolutely disgusting behaviour from the employee in the end

Positive experience: Great staff, clean gym. Lost a star because of everyone under 18 using the weights and workout equipment. Kids don't belong in the gym. Can't workout between 3:30pm and 7:00pm due to all the kids messing around on the equipment.

Fantastic experience: The staff our very friendly, especially Haley, who now works their part time, you can tell she really cares about the people that walk through the ymca on rochdale. The gym has everthing you need nice bright atomosphere, which puts me in a good mood to workout, the members that go there are generally there for good health, and are not afraid to ask advice if need be.

Positive experience: One of the best customer service in Regina. Less 1 star is only for the very early closing times and tight schedules.

Negative experience: Pool So small when I went to see to get a card they said kids 12 years old or older can go in the gym playground also small

Negative experience: I called in 2 hours earlier to book for a work out session for the 7 o clock shift and the person who was talking to me said you are all good to go. Later that day I called again to check if I’m booked in and they said no I was not booked in for that session and that it was full, so I couldn’t go for my workout and messed up my schedule, this is unexpectable

Positive experience: My daughter is going to daycare at the Y. She really enjoy going there, the staff are wonderful and seems like they really care about the kids. As part of the daycare my daughter got a membership to the YMCA.

Positive experience: It is a nice place to go if you have a family and use all of the amenities. I used it exclusively for a workout gym. It is too expensive to only use it as a gym and it is a really busy place. They need to set a minimum age to workout by yourself as often there is kids "working out" that are causing scenes and goofing around. As such, I switched to somewhere more reasonably priced.

Positive experience: Small but clean and well maintained gym. Staff is very friendly. The free child minding offered to members is great, and the kids have a play structure and a physical literacy area to play in. Only down side is that there is not a lot of equipment to choose from.

Negative experience: Booked a birthday party at the Rochdale location for an 8 yr old and it was an absolutely awful experience. Getting an email response from the “coordinator” took several weeks, multiple emails and trips to the facility. When we did get a reply, she didn’t even answer the questions we had. Then she told us it was in the system and we went to pay and no one had a clue what to do. No one knew when this “coordinator” actually worked or when we could meet her face to face. When we finally got it booked we thought it was all taken care of. Then 3 days before the party we were notified that the pool is closed for construction. And it has apparently been closed for some time. It seems like they deliberately waited to tell us knowing that we wouldn’t be able to book another facility. For the several hundred dollars it costs, you would expect better customer service. Unfortunately they seem to have no regard for customers, likely because they know other people will keep booking parties and don’t care if people are unhappy. The management of the party booking service is a complete joke and the person dealing with these bookings is utterly useless. I wish my son wasn’t so set on this place and that we had more time to cancel. They did offer us a refund, but of course at this point we can’t change the facility. I will not be using this facility going forward, even though I know they don’t care. If I could rate it zero stars, I would. I like to think this is a one time bad experience, but I’ve heard of similar situations from other people. Ok, I’m done venting now. What a joke the entire party booking system is, especially the “coordinator”.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I bought our family a pass as a Christmas gift to our daughter's. What a great move, no more "I'm bored" or "can we watch a movie". Now it's "can we go to the Y?" I enjoy the fact that we are making memories while keeping our family active. The staff is great at our location and we can't wait rouse our pass when we travel, especially during our Canadian winters.

Positive experience: Pretty good place to work out for the whole family! Pool is moderately sized with a nice temperature. Mostly clean change rooms.

Positive experience: This location has a swimming pool and is good for leisure or doing a few laps. Distance and competitive lap swimmers are better off at the Lawson or YMCA downtown where the water is cooler.
