Fantastic experience: Camps are really fun. My child gained more interesting experiences, learned teamwork, and built confidence. They are very proud of the colorful beads they received.

Fantastic experience: This is a great little community facility that offers a good amount of programming for children and adults. Anything from cooking classes to room rental to weekly basketball. My kids are homeschooled so we utilize their day time instruction and classes. The classes are affordable and are offered at convenient times for people with varying schedules. The staff at the front desk have been very friendly and helpful. The basketball coach is amazing and the kids love him. The facility itself is always clean and organized. They have a drop in schedule for various activities that can be found online. There are toys and activities in the lobby for kids to play with while waiting (or just to play with) such as oversized Lego blocks, a kitchen set, a little cabin/treehouse, a table set and some PVC pipe with magnets and balls to make a life size little marble drop maze type thing. There's also a little self-serve mini-library there. Washrooms are accessible. Comfortable seating offered if you're waiting for someone. There is a parking lot with free parking. Conveniently located on a main street and easy to get to.

Negative experience: The prejudicial staff of Ymca Red Deer have helped to increase homelessness in the city by over 300% in just 3 years. This organization needs to be shutdown, not donated to.

Negative experience: Contacted them spoke to reception about getting in contact with their housing program people. Guess their reception doesn't know how to pass along messages at all. Expecting that its selective message relaying just the ones that serves her n her friends purpose n ignore the rest. Oh well one star for service they answered the phone at least

Positive experience: Wednesday's drop in Strum and Drum with Dean Ray is hosted here. Beautiful building with friendly staff who check you into the building. It is kept clean and facility is brand new. Lots of parking but not the greatest to get in and out of parking lot. Depending on what direction you are heading, you might have to cut through a very busy middle school parking lot. I don't feel that was developed very well.

Fantastic experience: What a great, clean facility. Good programs and a great community gathering spot. Good gym and awesome bathrooms. Worth checking out... Just one thing... I never saw the village people there...very disappointed. I was ready to DANCE!

Fantastic experience: Awesome new facility come check it out they have lots of fun stuff to do Cooking classes with your kids as young as 6 You can rent board rooms or the whole gymnasium pop in the youth centre free wifi too

Negative experience: Tried to go there but looked online and saw that it closed at 430 pm. What ymca closes at 430!?! It should atleast stay open till 10 or later. Not impressed...

Fantastic experience: I had 2 grandchildren participate in the summer camps both different ages 9 and 5 . They enjoyed everything and loved the staff. Both cant wait to go again next summer.

Fantastic experience: CUTEST free play place in the world. I didn't go to the gym, I just played with my baby and the staff was so nice as well!
