Fantastic experience: Amazing space! Danielle was very helpful!!

Negative experience: Needs updated program and website. Noone to talk to. Needs cleaning. Window covers do not work for years now. There is no owner detectable.

Fantastic experience: I started my 7 day trial just to get a taste of this gym and it was amazing! i used to go to Unbc but live and lift just makes me feel so much more comfortable and relaxed. the environment was so welcoming and friendly and the employees were amazing. if i had any questions Danielle was on top of it and helped me with whatever i needed and was so understanding about everything, she was such an awesome help and made me feel so welcome right away!! overall would totally recommend going to live and life and being apart of their awesome community and team!

Fantastic experience: I love ladies live and lift! It was my first time ever going to an only women’s gym and the staff member who was at the front that day was so so sweet and helped me through the whole process, she was the sweetest ever. Now every time I come in, Danielle always greets me with a bright smile and even sometimes when I don’t know how to use the machines will show me how to use them! I feel so much more comfortable working out there because of her!

Fantastic experience: Great place for the ladies to get our workouts on! They have a variety of equipment in there, and the gym is kept clean and orderly. The 24-hour access is so nice to have. There's ample parking here, and the location is convenient. The staff are helpful and very friendly.

Fantastic experience: This is a very clean gym with a comfortable atmosphere. It’s nice going to a ladies only gym. I always feel welcomed and get great service, especially from Kylee; her knowledge and friendly demeanor is one of the many reasons I go to this gym.

Positive experience: I love this gym ..it is huge lots of space .lots of equipment..tanning, steam room, staff is friendly and helpful..my first time at a gym now for 6 months.very rewarding experience..ladies are very friendly towards each other..best of all 24 hours..safe environment!!!

Negative experience: Thought I was enjoying the experience until I was unable to keep attending and had zero support from the head staff. Completely deflatted me and I have a very low opinion of this gym.

Positive experience: Love how clean the gym is and I have tried recommending the gym to my friends but I'm honestly thinking of canceling my membership because of the garbage hours they are open. Not everyone has weekends off and I would enjoy using my membership on the weekends but I can't because they are only open until 5 or 6. I really think I might take my money to anytime fitness

Negative experience: If I could give a zero I would. The employers treat their employees like nothing and it's evident when you go there. They're not that nice to customers either, and the gym is super small. They screw you over with their membership rules and you'll end up losing all your money, and they just say there's no way to get it back. Just not a very nice place, would honestly recommend the uni gym or GoodLife, you'll get your money's worth and the atmosphere is a whole lot better with much more.

Fantastic experience: Love this gym. It's so clean , staff is always so friendly. They have great child minding staff, my daughter absolutely loves going there every day. We both get to look forward to a safe and fun environment. I couldn't say enough great things about this gym, staff is always happy and friendly to greet you when you walk in . This is the cleanest gym I've ever stepped foot into. The monthly fees are affordable and even though it's a smaller gym, you will always find a machine free to use :)

When I first started working out in 2014 I was very nervous because I didn't know how to use machines or what to do, but after a while I got the hang of it and the staff is more than willing to show you how to use a piece of equipment or if you need a spotter for anything.

When I first started working out in 2014 I was very nervous because I didn't know how to use machines or what to do, but after a while I got the hang of it and the staff is more than willing to show you how to use a piece of equipment or if you need a spotter for anything.

Negative experience: I signed up to the gym as a student for an 8 month period, knowing that i wouldn't be there in the summer. After my 8 month contract I was surprised to see i was still being billed. I was told over the phone that the contracts are immediately rolled into memberships and they "don't have any obligation to let you know" and to cancel you need to go in to the gym. I went in to cancel feeling bummed that i had paid for time i hadn't used at all but accepting it and then they informed me I would have to continue paying for another 30 days since the policy in their contract is they need a month's notice and it didn't matter that i wouldn't be using it, or hadn't used it for the past month - i still had to pay. It is shocking that i have to treat a cancellation at the gym like moving out of my apartment, it isn't like they need to clean out an apartment and replace me!! When I first went there it felt like the gym was really concerned with ensuring customers had a positive experience, but I guess they are just out to make money by ensuring customers pay an extra month after they want to quit. And to say that customers should buy and bring their own floormats because the gym wasn't going to replace any worn down ones is another example of the attitude there. Being from Toronto I was really expecting better customer service at a small town gym but i shouldn't have!!
