Fantastic experience: All of the staff I have encountered here have been lovely. The gym itself is incredibly clean and well maintained, and has everything you need, and some duplicates, so you're not waiting around for long for someone else to finish up. They even have a women's section if you prefer some extra privacy/space. The membership pricing is very reasonable, and the two week free trial was a great bonus to see if I liked it before committing to this gym. Overall fantastic experience so far.

Positive experience: Clean! Equipment varied and in very good condition Lovely staff!

Negative experience: Very disappointed with some of the staff and management here. So far my experience has been unpleasant . I had signed up with my partner, we had asked for the 2 week trial as advertised out front. They gave him the trial and ended up charging me a total of $120 over 2 weeks. They never charged my partner.They also charged me for NSF fees even though this was their mistake and I wasn’t supposed to be charged in the first place. That’s a lot of money for anyone and when I addressed the issue I was met with hostility, no apologies given and the staff member up front smirking and giving attitude. They had told me they couldn't do anything…until I had threatened to go to the better business bureau. They offered me no compensation, no apologies and no ease to the stress they had caused. After lots of arguing back and forth, they gave me $60 back.. As a company whose success solely relies on customers to keep it up and running, you would think excellent customer service would be at the forefront. I was so excited to come to this gym as it’s close to home and a really nice space all together but the way they responded to the issue at hand over a mistake THEY made just ruined the whole experience for me and my partner. Do better and maybe have a chat with your staff to go over basic human decency.

Fantastic experience: I visited this club as I’m new to the area and was looking for somewhere to workout. The attendant was very pleasant. Gave us a tour of the gym and I signed up for a 2 weeks free trial. Very good first impression.

Fantastic experience: Open 24x7 is great. Lots of machines (cardio and weights). Has a good group of members too. Doesn't get too busy on Monday and Tuesday which is typically when gyms get most of their traffic. The cardio machine selection is good. There's four (I think) stair climbers, and a row of treadmills and ellipticals and a few bikes in the last row. They have huge floor standing fans which is great for airflow and much more effective than ceiling fans for cardio. In terms of weight machines, there's pretty much every machine type here (leg extension, calf raises, chest press, shoulders, arms etc etc). Way too many to list but if you need to work a specific body part, the machine is here :)

Fantastic experience: Fantastic Gym, you can see the owner's passion and intensity and it inspires a very encouraging environment. Highly recommend if you're serious about your fitness journey, this is not just a gym but a very supportive community.

Positive experience: Lots of great equipment. I love the ladies only area....wish there were kettlebells there though. My only real complaint is that there are some really loud grunters and can be a bit uncomfortable when it sounds like someone is giving birth echoes throughout the whole gym.

Fantastic experience: Nick and staff run the best gym anywhere as far as I'm concerned. It is clean, big and has everything anyone would want from the novice to the super gym rat. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The vibe is super friendly and helpful to anyone that needs a little encouragement to keep going. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely awesome faculty. Only thing greater than the machines and weights is the Staff. Staff is dedicated to keeping it clean, and running smoothly. But most importantly staff cares deeply about its members and helping them not only have an enjoyable experience but helping them achieve their personal goals. Members are there to get better and do not judge but rather encourage and help each other. It is more than a gym it is a community.

Fantastic experience: Incredible gym. I've only been a single time with a day pass but it is amazing. It is the perfect mixture of being welcoming but at the same time intense so you can get a great workout. There is all the equipment you could ask for and its very clean and maintained. I go to the Gym in london during the week but am hoping they entertain a 'weekend warrior' or "bar(bell) star' membership to allow access on Saturday and Sunday when I am home so I can lift at this awesome spot.

Fantastic experience: Well The Fit Effect was the best move I could have made. Being driven by a very mean person who actually pokes at me in the most negative way daily. I can say ....I am very blessed to have The Fit Effect in my Life now ... not even 30 seconds away from my house.....Let me tell you all.... it helps to take out my stress and the frustrations that make me want to hit the bag, and lift weights....being bullied is not how I wish to be motivated to workout.....so I put my mental, physical and emotional health in a safe place .....and the Effect that it has impact on me is to Get in where I Fit in.....and that is what everyone should have available to them. I Just love how the staff is very informative and the owner is always present.....I see the trainers working with their clients and pushing them Hard Core.....its something I will recommend for everyone.....time to exhale.....time for themselves and time for The Fit Effect!!

The whole team made me feel so welcome, the equipment was easy to use, intuitive, and sanitary, the change room and showers were so clean, and my coach, Dave, kept me motivated and encouraged to slug through. So glad I found The Fit Effect; super friendly staff and a GREAT new facility that has anything and everything you could ever want or need. And I mean that literally, they even have MAG grips. Fantastic experience: This gym is awesome! It has such a large space with several different areas that I never have to wait for a machine or bench. It is a TRUE 24/7 gym. Its always clean and sanitized and the members are super respectful of eachother. It has a ladies area , coffee lounge, massage bed, free weight area, and so many machines. The owner, Nick, is there almost every day and is always quick to give you support or tips while you are working out. It really is like a big large Fit Effect Family.

Fantastic experience: Best gym in the brantfrod/Paris area. Great quality machine, multiples of everything so you're never waiting. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. The new facility is massive and immaculately clean. I've tried most of the gyms in brantford, and none of them are even close to the fit effect

Fantastic experience: The Fit Effect Centre has awesome varity of quality equipments and machines that distinguish it from others. Feel the strength and intensity from everything inside. This fitness facility is very neat, clean, well managed and maintained at all the time. Added to that, staff is super friendly, welcoming and eager to help. Tanning and massage rooms are available in this centre. List of group classes are offered, such as Yoga, Aerobic, Zumba, HIIT, Dance is the upcoming credit, and the list is longer. The overall atmosphere of the Fit Effect is full of motivations and positive energies. It is obviously has been established and managed by people knew what it should has to be on the top as it is today. I am glad I found the Fit Effect Centre. BEAST MOOD!

Fantastic experience: The Fit Effect is beautiful, clean and set up like a real powerhouse. The staff are so friendly. The Washrooms are luxurious and clean. The trainers are professional and give amazing advice to maximize weight loss and toning.

Fantastic experience: As a teenager who has been very skinny my whole life, working out beside other much stronger people has always been intimidating. However, the Fit Effect has helped me to channel that intimidation into energy. Everyone there is welcoming and always ready to give advice, trainer or not. I highly advice that you sign up for the Fit Effect! Trust me; you won't regret it. FYI Sometimes rock is playing but, it usually is cardio pop. Update: The new facility on Hartley is 100% amazing. The gym has round the staff cleaning people, amazing customer service, and is the cleanest gym facility I have ever seen. Trust me you won't regret signing up!

Fantastic experience: I have tried other gyms in the past and never stayed longer than a couple months. I was made to feel like a membership ($$$) rather than a member. I joined for effect at the beginning of the year and didn't get the time in I wanted before COVID hit and everything shut down.. Needless to say my weight gain goals were crushed and when they opened back up again I was in worse shape than when I joined. Here's the difference.. Had this been another gym the staff and owner would not actively talk and give advice on how to improve. I spent time speaking with Nick about my goals and not one time did i feel silly or like I was being judged.. instead what I felt like was this was an owner of a business determined to make sure his members were getting the most out of their membership therefore would continue their membership in a place where they are made to feel comfortable and in an environment that they feel safe and secure and like the people that work there care about your results and your well-being. I personally have never ever recommended a gym to anyone before in my life but I will now. I will recommend the fit effect to anyone. no matter your age, no matter your level of exercise, no matter who you might be. This is not a gym that you go to and feel bad about yourself when you leave because of the other members or the staff, this is a gym that you go to to encourage yourself to be your best you. I have a long way to go and I'll be happy to meet all of my goals at this gym. Ive only tired one class but the experience was fantastic.
