Fantastic experience: Jag was my trainer at Motion Fitness Lloydminster. He did an amazing job teaching me the importance of proper form, and setting realistic targets to see the best results. Fantastic experience: I hear that you have a new Rockstar as a trainer and his name is Jag. When Jag lived in Lloydminster AB he was my personal trainer at Motion Fitness and he was amazing. He helped me change my body in ways I didn’t think were possible for someone my age. He pushed me past where I thought I could go and where he knew I could go. He listens well when you have an injury or an off day and accommodates you but you are still benefiting from your session. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience for someone who looks as young as he does, but I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a new Personal Trainer or someone just looking for a change……you won’t regret your decision.

Fantastic experience: Visiting Okotoks and came in as a friend. Gym is spacious with lots of options for free weights, cable machines, cardio and open space. Change rooms were clean and staff extremely friendly.

Fantastic experience: I have been with the club almost since it opened. It is clean and well equipped. Everyone is friendly. The staff, Hussein, Ethel, Leo are amazing. They seem to know everyone’s name so it feels like a little community. Great place to work out vs the big box gyms.

Fantastic experience: I have two children that attend the Motion childcare and we have been there since 2021! We absolutely love the dedicated and amazing staff! My son has been going since he was 8 months and my daughter at 4 months. We pack all necessary items, diapers, snacks, milk, purées, etc. for the duration of our stay and the staff are always sure to give the best care for the kiddos! The facility is always clean! Highly recommend!

Positive experience: Love this casual place to work put. Not a bunch of body builders prancing around in boots shorts. After I joined I convinced 3 others to attend as well!

Fantastic experience: Very welcoming for a first timer. Genuinely very nice people, Change rooms were pretty empty. Nice massage chairs. The women's only room was nice and empty, with many machines. They have vending machines, that were decently cheap. Seems great overall, I highly recommend it.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love working out at Motion Fitness. I've been coming here for over 10 years. The staff are all amazing. Leo at the front desk makes an effort every day to say hi to everyone as they come in and make them feel welcome. I've been training with Jo-anne and have a multitude of injuries she needs to work around. She is very versed in helping those with ailments and works with whatever needs you have. This is a place that make you feels like you belong and are supported in your fitness journey!

Fantastic experience: I wish I could give this endless stars! But, Google will only let me give 5! Here is why! I really enjoy my workouts at Motion Fitness! For many reasons! But, I would like to highlight just one! Meantal Health! This is a reminder to focus on your Mental Health and do what you need to do for yourself! Try your best, even if it is hard to stay in routine and try to never give up on the things that matter to you! That being said, I did go out of my usual routine this week, I didn't go live the days I normally do, (I am an online content creator on Facebook and Instagram,) which was Tuesday and Friday (today), even tho I love doing live videos for everyone, and that's okay too, it is okay to go out of routine once in a while to focus on yourself and what you need! Sometimes you need to switch things up to make sure your focusing on yourself when life gives you curve balls. Even tho I didn't feel like a workout this morning, I still went, I managed to up my weight in all my exercises and got a personal best time for planking! Which by the way was 3 minutes and 40 seconds! I put all my physical and emotional strength into my workout and especially that plank! So even tho I didn't go live this week, I still did my workout to keep some of my routine as that's what I felt I needed to do for myself! Just an FYI I am okay! There has been some things this week that threw me for a loop and I just need to adjust to what's happening! I am typically a go with the flow, it is what it is kind of person, for thoes that know me know this, but, sometimes even those of us that don't normally struggle or are good at hiding it, we definatly have our moments, and that's totally okay! Even if your emotions sneak up on you like they have with me, it happens, and there is nothing wrong with that! I have never needed a workout as badly as I needed it today! Thank you Britt Ivan! You made sure that I let it all out into that workout and put what I had left physically and emotionally into that plank today! I of course put a similar review on my Facebook and Instagram! Fantastic experience: This is one of the best gyms iv been a member of. Very helpful staff, staff continually cleaning equipment all day. They have many aerobic type classes with instructors. There is a ladies only section.

Fantastic experience: Honestly a great gym, I’ve been going here for a while now and it’s definitely my main gym. Staff is super kind 24/7 everytime I go, and mainly of course, great layout and weights to work around with. Love it!

Positive experience: My son gifted me some personal training sessions with Britt. I had previous injuries involving lower back/neck so I experience alot of pain at times. It was a slow start but Britt patiently worked with me and taught me some exercises I've never seen before. Not only is Britt extremely knowledgeable but she is really fun and positive as well. I'm feeling stronger and have more energy these days. Thanks Britt!

Negative experience: I’ve tried to cancel my membership in September and due to their predatory practices, it’s now December and they are still charging me. This gym is a scam. Go anywhere else. Their change room leaks and has mold growing in and around the showers and sauna. Have filed with the BBB to get them too stoop stealing money from me

Negative experience: BUYER BEWARE, I would like to give this place 0 stars if I could. The cancellation policy they have is a scam. Every other gym gives you a chance to cancel whenever. HERE you have to GIVE A ONE MONTH NOTICE. I was not told this when signing up for the gym membership and they charge you even if you do not show up for the gym in that notice month. I talked to the "manager" for the gyms, Hussain, who told me he would give me a refund and he kicked me back to a lower level manager who was rude and was not wanting to listen to what I had to say. She told me that the membership was cancelled on Decemebr 31 but they still charged me for the January month on Jan 2, 2024. NEVER COMING BACK, All i can do is tell people to not go to this gym. Thanks for ruining my gym experience. Just going to buy my own weights thank you. Also for those that read the reviews, The 1 stars on this one are very True. BEWARE OF HIDDEN FEES. BSAICALLY THEY ARE CHARGING YOU FOR CANCELLING your membership and calling it a notice. It is technically a cancellation fee.

Regarding the cancellation fee, we'd like to clarify that the one-month notice requirement is not a fee per se, but rather a policy that is in place to ensure that the gym has adequate time to remove the member from its billing system and avoid any incorrect charges. We hope this clears up any confusion you may have had regarding the gym's cancellation policy. Please know that our Okotoks team did their best efforts to assist and help you with your membership cancellation. We understand that it may not be favorable for you, but the issue has been resolved and taken care of.
Fantastic experience: Great friendly clean gym. I’ve been working w the PT Brit who is amazing! I can’t say enough good things about her. She pushes me when I need it and takes it easy on me when I’m having a rough day. Her positivity is contagious and dare I say I am actually enjoying going to the gym because of her. She has great knowledge of the body and working with injuries.

Fantastic experience: Great gym! Friendly knowledgeable staff, fantastic daycare, fair priced and has everything you could want or need from a gym. Very open and not crowded! Classes are great, the steam room and tanning beds are just a bonus. I highly recommend this gym!

Fantastic experience: I love this gym! SUCH great value for the investment. I love the NO CONTRACT option, which still includes all the great features of the facility - namely the massage chairs, steam room and tanning beds! This gym offers classes of all kinds, has all the equipment you could ask for, knowledgeable, professional trainers on staff, is clean and the equipment is well maintained. I can't say enough about the wonderful people that work there, it's SUCH a welcoming, non-intimidating environment and workout experience!

Fantastic experience: I was a regular here 7 years ago and have just started back recently. My favorite is the Group Power class. There are many great instructors that I have had, but I want to give a special shout out to Shae. She has a gift for leading her classes. She is easy to follow, is encouraging and very good at teaching good form in a way that makes me feel supported. I love this class because it is a full workout in an hour in an environment that makes me want to push myself. I love that I don't have to think about my workouts, I just follow the brilliant and easy to follow correography with weights to bring steady improvement in strength, endurance and balance. Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to this gym for about 2 years now, and absolutely love it. Staff is super friendly and they stay on top of the maintenance and cleanliness.
