Positive experience: I love the pools, but I think the gym is a little too much for me. At 70 I think the other activities might be a little too much also. And for almost $90.00/m, the pool is not worth the cost. "I do love the pools, and the water temperature is nice and warm."

Fantastic experience: Took my 2 toddlers to the splash pad which is such an amazing thing to be able to do in the winter and only cost $10! It was very clean and the shower and change stalls were very clean. Would highly recommend this YMCA!

Positive experience: We are very grateful to have this indoor walking track but often, especially after karate nights, it becomes a free forall with the kids running all over, screaming etc. Sometimes it's not safe as they pay no attention to the walkers and we have had a few near misses almost tripping.

Fantastic experience: YMCA North is a very nice place. I like the fact that there is minimal crowds when I have gone. The staff are polite and professional as well as helpful.

Positive experience: It's like an alright gym. I wish the hours were later like the one on Vaughan Harvey. Pretty small. You can get a good lift in here but good is about where it stops. If you're not worried about money then I'd say Goodlife is just better.

Negative experience: Very awkward experience. Co-ed change room-I'm not a fan. Nowhere to sit in the changeroom, and there are cameras in the changeroom. It's so weird. Then, the actual gym part is tiny. Like a small hotel gym. Then, because the way the locker rooms are so compartmentalized for "safety" or whatever, it ends up taking twice as long to get dressed and showered and all that. Reminds me of shopping during the pandemic with one-way isles. My least favorite gym ever. If it wasn't so close to my work, I would never go there again.

Positive experience: The staff was very friendly as you first go in. They are willing to answer all your questions and provide detailed information if needed. I have a family of 5 and the rates are really affordable. I would recommend this ymca for anyone that would like to have a verity of activities in there everyday life.

Negative experience: We became members primarily to register our kids for swimming. But they didn't have any spot which they didn't tell us during registration. They told us we need to wait to get into swimming class. We paid around $200 ($62 biweekly) and waited for a month but no call. So we canceled our membership and that money was wasted.

Fantastic experience: This place was so fun, it only cost $5, the play place is completely safe for all types of children, it is not over stimulating, and there are places where the water isn't always running for them to play also, there wasn't any sensory issues for my son whatsoever. Everything is very clean, and very welcoming

Fantastic experience: It is an excellent place to swim and also to take your Kids if you want to. Another Good option is to is indoor hike specifically for winter time or in case you want to avoid the sun rays. I highly recommend it.

Fantastic experience: The Indoor Splash Pad at YMCA North End is an absolute delight for families, especially during the colder months. My kids and I had a fantastic time there. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and offers a safe environment for children to play and have fun. The variety of interactive water features kept my kids entertained for hours, and the fact that it's indoors means we can enjoy it year-round. It's a wonderful place for families to beat the heat or simply have a great time together.

Fantastic experience: Been a YMCA member on and off for the past 40+ years. This was my first time at this Y and first time back to a Y in approximately 7 years. Checked this place out and was disappointed there are no exercise bikes. Always enjoy taking their spin classes. Will report on any other classes I take after I've taken them. Been going to the other Y in town for their spin classes. Staff were very pleasant and helpful with tour given and all questions answered.

Negative experience: Absolutely disgusted by the manager after I was alone with 10 children for my twin nieces birthday . I had switched jackets and not had a physical copy of my license..I had also called about bringing the children there and they never mentioned anything about having Id. I did have a copy of my license and passport on my phone , however the manager Silas and his coworker wouldn't accept that. They were very rude and cocky and cold hearted! Shame on you for turning away ten children ...the girls were heart broken....i had to call parents to come pick their children up and was completely embarrassed and disgusted with how they handled the situation. I don't think I will ever go there until they have a proper management...that's not someone who should be the face of the company. They should also mention you need a physical copy ..I'm sure things could have been handled differently after a 30min commute to come for our first time and have that happen.

Negative experience: Paid and they told me after that I had paid that they were closing in 30 minutes for a birthday party! A. They should have told me BEFORE or not charge me at all for only half an hour and B. Why are they closing for a bd party?? It wasn't full. My kids were pretty desappointed and obviously did not want to leave after playing for only half an hour.

Fantastic experience: We are lucky to live close to the Y. The indoor splash pad and playground is lots of fun and keeps kids of all ages entertained.

Negative experience: Don’t join this gym if you’re serious about lifting weights! They allow kids to run around and play on exercise equipment, kids throwing weighted balls around like they are in a playground, around people lifting weights. Kids jumping on benches trying to climb equipment not meant to climb. Staff don’t care to rectify the situation. Nobody monitoring the kids in weight room.

Fantastic experience: We took our kids (5 and 7) here for a morning at the splash pad and they had a total blast! The space is small which is perfect for keeping an eye on everyone and the area is lined with some chairs for sitting. It was about a 30 minute visit before the kids got cold and asked to be done. The gentlemen working the desk was SO friendly and made us feel very welcomed.

Fantastic experience: The YMCA (Vaughn Harvey/John Street) in Moncton is such a wonderful place to enter and when they opened the north end Y what a great addition. The north end is just fun!! I take my grandchildren to the kiddies indoor water/playpark, which is also attached to an outdoor play park and it is hard to get them to leave!! The main gym is wonderful, an amazing flooring and equipment for group classes. The weight/cardio area has all you would need. Then the change area is the best!! Clean and comfortable!! Well done!!! Upstairs is an amazing walking track, free to the public!!!! The pièce de résistance is taking the slide from upstairs to the main floor!!!!! Do it!!!!!!!!!!!
