Fantastic experience: Amazing

Positive experience: Change rooms are clean. Sometimes the cardio room is quite hot or the machines are taken up by young teens but other then that its a great facility

Negative experience: I’m a member. Observations Sunday Morning. 1) washrooms dirty. Most of the time. 2) Garbages full and smelly from day before. Not uncommon. 3) Elipticals in very poor condition. Not new. Been like this for months. 4) Upstairs strength training machines in bad shape. On going. 5) Same hole in wall at running track. C’mon. Let’s kick it into gear.

Fantastic experience: Been going to Southridge Y for 5 years now. Equipment is a little older but memberships are affordable and staff are amazing.

Positive experience: I've been going pretty often with my kids and the staff is amazing, very helpful and kind. They have new gym equipment but there are some machines that need re-upholstering; I've also attended some of their classes and they've been great! Pretty affordable as well, glad to be a member :)

Positive experience: The staff are incredible! The equipment is in short supply and the gyms are usually rented out to events. Holding a membership for a child under 13 is typically a waste of money at this location.

Positive experience: The southridge ymca is nice i like how there is a daily running way and how u can chose to run or walk but the rackets are horibble there beat up and old

Negative experience: The air conditioning has not been fixed for nearly two summers, and it seems like management doesn’t care. We also don’t have working blinds to stop the sun from coming in. If you enjoy working out in a sauna while breathing in other peoples sweat this is the place for you! They don’t have an age limit in the weight. Children under the age of 13 come up to the weight room to stand in groups and get in the way, while doing nothing. Which also creates a huge hazard, when someone’s lifting weights and they’re running around playing tag. I used to love it here, but I’m looking elsewhere as management has clearly stopped caring. You can pay the same price and go to better facilities in town. YMCA, I am not the only one who feels this way, and I pray you make a change for your companies sake. The staff are friendly and delightful, but they also let a lot slide.

Fantastic experience: I recommend kindergym on Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays at 10. Kids can run around and burn off energy while socializing and making new friends. Only $2 or free with membership.

Fantastic experience: The Medicine Hat Southridge YMCA is a great place for sports and fitness. There is a running track, weight room, exercise machines, a gym and fitness classes. The place is nice and clean and there is no extra charge for a lock.

Positive experience: Great gymnasium. The workout area is pretty small and often over crowded. Staff are usually pretty nice and keep the place tidy. Perfect if you want to play basketball or other gymnasium sports

Positive experience: This facility is very clean and well maintained. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. There fitness trainer is knowledgeable and qualified. It will be a 4 plus star when the expansion is complete.
