Fantastic experience: A very complete offer from this downtown Y. Many open pool hours, very clean facilities, Plus members enjoy steam room, hot tub and sauna in the changing area and there is even a small selection of exercise equipment and free weights if you don’t want to leave the locker area. Staff are very accommodating and really listen to the members. I’ve had nothing but good experiences so far. Note that weekend hours have been improved! 9/10

Positive experience: It’s fine here but I am begging the YMCA to improve their website. It’s next to impossible to find the information I’m looking for and many times I have given up and decided not to go.

Positive experience: Closed Sundays Closed or reduced hours at least once a month for Holidays Paying for 14 days (2 weeks) fitness and only getting 11 or 12 days? is okay if it wasn't the same rate or higher than other fitness centers open 7 days a week plus open holidays I can see why some YMCA's are closing because a business must be open to be in business

Fantastic experience: Great facility & can be amazingly quiet at times in the workout area! I also play in a Men’s Recreation Basketball League that they host.

Fantastic experience: The staff are welcoming, the facilities are great and parking is available and free even though it’s close to the downtown core.

Negative experience: Its one of the main places I need to go to catch other busses when i get down town its always dirty i mean really dirty and it sends like the people coming in and out of the place are miserable buy that's just my opinion lol

Fantastic experience: Love the variety you get there. Hardwood gym floor for basketball, soccer, pickleball and I’m sure many other activities. Squash and racquet ball courts. Swimming pool and classes plus hot tub. Great variety in weight room, spin classes, lots of classes in the open studio room and I’m sure many other activates and programs. Also a great snack bar at the entrance. And physio there as well.

Positive experience: Bob Hayward has closed. If this gym downtown received the financial attention it deserves i feel it could become the Y we need it to be. Best location, ymca is an actually family and community gym that feels focused on all around fitness and lifestyle improvement. Great gym for students perusing basketball. Good life is the new standard. Crunch is the new golds/worlds where you go to lift and they offer better hours and newer equipment. Y has its place and it’s time for equip like bostwicks Y!

The latter has been closed and I did not receive my certificate. I had a final exam to obtain the certificate and I paid $1,600 and I did not obtain the certificate and my money was not refunded. Fantastic experience: I never had bad experience in this ymca branch. I learned how to swim with my step-father and my mom when I was young, it's one of my impactful moment in life. Now sometimes I go there just to swim or play squash, I never had problems there. You can workout too but you need to book for squash court, but most time they have free spaces.

Negative experience: Hate filled place that I was kicked out of because of individuals connected to the catholic church and to catholic central high school in London Ontario Canada it goes further than that but no need to explain here

Fantastic experience: I love that there is a small fitness room in the women's plus room at CBY; it is almost always in use. I love having a dry sauna, a steam room, and a hot-tub as well. I love that you are located down-town, serve a very diverse, inter-cultural community, and have members of all ages, of all abilities, and with various needs. CBY is a very open, welcoming, and inclusive community. One of my favourite programs is the free adult swim lessons on Tuesday evenings. I like that there is a wide variety of programs, including yoga, that fitness trainers are available for one-on-one training, and there are programs like Y-Thrive to give guidance when you need some ideas on what makes a good routine. My grandson really enjoyed the tree-house when he visited recently. I am extremely happy that I joined the Y, and in particular, Centre Branch Y.

Positive experience: This is a great gym, lots of equipment and two squash courts! The staff is very friendly but they should be open on Sundays and have a longer Saturday at-least till 5 or 6pm!
