Fantastic experience: Its a great gym with lots of facilities. The environment is friendly and encouraging. I got a very helpful initial session from Tyson which helped me gain confidence. Any clarification or request was taken care by the Jazz promptly.

Negative experience: The person at the reception in the morning is unfriendly, he doesn't have the towels ready, when you ask for a towel he asks you what you want it for. What an uncomfortable situation, I have been training at this franchise for two years, I came to this gym for a week and I already want to quit because of this.

Fantastic experience: After an absence of 4 years, I have rejoined the club and was welcomed with a warm reception by the front desk staff, Tim (General Manager) and Steve (Fitness Manager). At 70 years of age, I was looking to build muscle mass and to become more flexible. After 5 personal training sessions (Steve and Steve), I checked all the boxes / learned a lot. They provided me with a blueprint of what I need to do going forward. All in all, it was a very positive experience and I look forward to becoming a more active member; especially when the golf season ends. Jim S.

Fantastic experience: We have a new class and it is an excellent workout.Half yoga and half pilates,making it a yoga lates.Sounds like a delicious cup of coffee but it is an excellent workout.
Negative experience: U are literally not allowed to say these guys don't stop following you and they don't respect your space. This is not a healthy place to go to.

Fantastic experience: Hands down. One of the best goodlife facilities I've been to. I travel. Go to as many goodlife fitness as I can. Top notch. Lockers were impressive. Staff . Courteous. My goodlife bag was torn and falling apart and Brandon without hesitation gave me a spanking new bag. Glad I joined. Continued success Burlington.

Positive experience: I love everything about the gym, from the atmosphere to the staff! I just wish it went back to 24/7 as it’s kinda sucks having to travel between this and the Appleby location, which I find is missing a lot of equipment that this location has.

Positive experience: I have been a member for over a year. Great gym.The staff are very helpful and always welcoming. However, I have noticed a change in the quality of cleanliness in the past few months. Benches in ladies changeroom are rarely cleaned and tables by front desk really need a good cleaning as well. Nice to see machines are well maintained.

Fantastic experience: Good gym with everything you need. Very large floor space as well. Similar (albeit larger) to Windsor-Tecumseh Mall GL gym in that main floor is upstairs and attached/in a mall. I went on a Friday night and got through my workout timely. Staff was kind at the front desk and change rooms were clean.

Fantastic experience: Breathe of fresh air at this Goodlife location. Usually I go to the Goodlifes in Hamilton but after 1 bad experience with a staff member and a terrible atmosphere at the gym itself, I completely stepped back. With working in Burlington I figured I would give this location a chance to restart my fitness journey. I couldn't be happier that I did, the location is clean, staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and the general atmosphere is so inviting and friendly. Everyone knows one another and are friendly having conversations. Whereas at the Hamilton location all you get is stares and death glares while working out not making it inviting or a place you want to workout. Excited to make this a part of my daily routine again.

Negative experience: I’m not somebody who likes to leave reviews anywhere but I felt like this one was needed. I go to the gym very often, and have been to several different GoodLife locations while being with them and have never experienced a problem until after my first month having a membership. I had no problem with the registration fee and sign up price for the first month, This happened to me and my friend who both signed up at this location we had a worker from the tour, then days later a different person who we signed up with both tell us $80 for a monthly membership didn’t mention anything about any other prices or payments. Then our payments came out for the next month which both me and my friend were pissed to see that we were charged a lot more then we agreed for our memberships we were both charged $97 both of us aren’t working right now so we each had $80-$90 in our accounts for the $80 monthly payment for our memberships but then both ended up negative in our accounts and getting $45 NSF fees from the bank. Even if we were both rich it wouldn’t matter the difference in what happened with how much extra we were charged and not told about any hidden other prices or fees for the membership. My close friend was at a different GoodLife location and was able to get great help from them then were disappointed to hear what had happened at this Burlington location, and ended up getting in touch with HR and my friend was refunded from there mistake. And was able to get help reducing the price of his membership to the basic membership instead of the middle membership. I on the other hand went into the Guelph Line Burlington Mall GoodLife Location to get help like what my friend got from a different location. I talked to a nice guy employee who I’ve seen before about the problem I was having with the payment, the price I was charged, the NSF fee I got because of not being told about any taxes or any other extra expenses to the payment. I had left money and was waiting for the payment if I was told the proper price from the beginning and my friend as well this wouldn’t have happened to either of us!!! Proceeded to talk to the guy he had shown me I had paid for November 23rd-December 23rd I have been aware of how much money I’ve had and what has been in my account and taken out and have a printed statement of my recent activity from my bank and was able to get good help and assistance from a very nice worker at the bank. The guy worker at GoodLife then brought Heather the girl manager who straight from the start didn’t care for a second was not interested in helping or hearing the issue at all, kept trying to say I owed another $120 after the guy before her had shown me I had paid for my membership and I’ve been to several location the days prior to this and no issues signing in anywhere nothing mentioned by any workers at any other locations. She was extremely rude from the start. Was disgusting how bad her customer service was, I’m somebody who’s been wanting to work at a gym and has been working on getting my personal trainer certificate and I think it was terrible to see someone acting like that as a manger. I had some much adrenaline going trying to stay calm while dealing with this terrible customer service. I thought GoodLifes website had mentioned how great their customer service is and how great they are with their members but that was the worst experience I’ve had with any worker anywhere. She kept saying my friend had nothing to do with me even though it was both of us who could’ve had this all avoided if any of the workers told the potential people signing up the proper prices from the beginning. I ended up leaving with a number to call to complain. And left with no help. If you got anything from reading this please just go to any other GoodLife location or any other gym you’ll get a much better deal somewhere else and will be able to bring guests and not have issues with day or week passes for friends.

Fantastic experience: i was looking for a new gym cuz my old gym was crawling with kids who pick their noses and my old gym was gross the staff never cleaned. I joined Goodlife and wow such a difference!! The gym was clean bathrooms change room all clean. It’s never “too busy” longest i’ve waited for a machine was like 5 minutes and the staff actually say hello and goodbye even if i accidentally ignore them. There’s many massage chairs and i love how they’re placed in a not awkward area and lastly the woman’s room is AMAZING. I walked in there expecting nothing but i can do almost my whole work out in there and it’s super quiet. Overall i’m really picky with gyms but this one’s great

Positive experience: Been going here for over a year. It says 24 hours on the signage but in fact is not. Just showed up at 6:20am on a Saturday and it was closed, very frustrating. The staff here are quite friendly and pleasant.

Negative experience: I will start off by saying I have been with this gym since 2015 and most of the staff have been lovely and I have made this gym home. With that being said there is one staff member that goes out of her way to bully both staff and members. Her name is Kate and she has a serious attitude problem that has absolutely no business working in customer service at all. Over the years I have noticed her behaviour and several other staff and customers complain about her attitude. Instead of dealing with it GoodLife has allowed her to be a front desk manager. Kate crossed a line when she decided to call out my pregnant wife who was very lightheaded and told her to not eat her snack near the gym floor knowing very well she is pregnant and at times struggles to walk. My wife now has put her membership on hold due to doctors orders of no lifting but to be supervised at all times due to medical complications. As a result she now comes with me to tag along as I workout For medical reasons she stays by my side and the grand majority of staff have been lovely and accommodating except of course Kate who feels the urge to put a pregnant lady that has done no harm to anyone keeps to herself on the floor. Yet when a more serious issue arises nothing is done. I have several accounts of people complaining about Kate and nothing is done and when a serious issue arises nothing is done but focusing on making my pregnant wife feel unwelcome at her own gym seems to take priority. Instead of politely talking to us she went through other staff to tell them to tell us not to allow my wife in even though we have a valid medical reason to accompany myself during a workout. Shame on you for your behaviour do better.

Positive experience: Yesterday was the second time I've shown up around 8 pm to find this "24 hr" gym closed. After looking it up, it's only open for 24 hrs 3 days of the week. Both times there were other confused clients outside the door wondering why they can't get in. The 24 hrs claim is misleading. Get rid of it and just post your actual hours CLEARLY on the exterior door by the food court. If I was aware of this I would have signed up with another gym as I tend to work out later in the evening. This interferes with trying to establish a routine.

Positive experience: One of the best GoodLife’s I’ve ever been to outside of some newer facilities in Hamilton. Almost everybody part has multiple machines, even multiple versions of the same exercises. Tons of free weights, bumpers for deadlifts and other types of OLY exercises. Tons of space, change rooms are huge, never too busy. 4/5 only because I believe they could use more dual cables for flies since most people take the ones in the main area for that reason which makes it hard for others to use only one.

Negative experience: Really nice space. It’s pretty laughable with some do their equipment choices. You have ONE adjustable free motion cable machine. Probably don’t need TWO ghd’s. It’s filthy and organized. Towels all over the bathroom. Disproportionate weights on all the benches and racks. I spent more time searching for plates than I did working out.

Fantastic experience: I joined GoodLife about 2 months ago. The staff at the Burlington location are great to deal with. Very friendly, always helpful, fun and accommodating. My only constructive feedback is there should be more spin and hot yoga classes later in the day to accommodate people who work and/or commute. More 630 or 700 classes would be so helpful.

Negative experience: This gym is honestly such a disappointment. I was hoping to go attend just for the summer. It was extremely overpriced and honestly not the best gym I’ve gone to. More than half the time, the weights in the women’s section are in the wrong spots and they never have any of the accessories for some of the exercises like most gyms do. If you’re a student, I recommend going somewhere else.

Negative experience: Great place to work out and great facilities but workers can be unprofessional. Workers always crowding the front desk. People yelling across the foyer. Saw one lady that was working there wearing a patient costume once with their buttocks out which is very disrespectful and is mockery to people that have been admitted into the hospital or know someone who is. I was thinking of buying personal training here because of the facilities but opted not to because of this. Other than this, the gym has great and clean equipment.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Goodlife Fitness Guelph Line Burlington for about 15 year. The fitness classes are great and there’s a good variety of them. It’s open 24 hr X 4 days and 7-8 pm on weekends. Absolutely nothing to complain about.

Fantastic experience: I have been to a lot of gyms and I have to saw that the Burlington location is pretty solid if you are looking to workout after a busy workday. The gym has plenty of equipment for every type of workout. Never really had to wait for someone to complete their set unless it’s the squat rack. One thing I would mention that could be improved is the air conditioning which is blasting. It’s is very chilly inside. Also if you are not looking to join any classes, there are definitely better alternatives you should look at prior to joining GoodLife.

Positive experience: Good gym. Large and decent location. Not super busy in the summer which is great. I dislike the AC always being on. It's like 17 degrees Celsius. Not healthy when cold air is blowing on all equipment while trying to get in a good workout.

Positive experience: Clean gym. Good selection of cardio and weights. Pretty easy to find the equipment I need even when busy. Most staff at the front are friendly. I get greeted by the same people every time and not greeted by a different bunch of people at other times. Too busy chatting amongst themselves. The hours could be better. 8 pm close on weekends is not cool. I work weekends as I’m sure a lot of people do now. For what I pay as a long time member it’s very reasonable. When I look at the pricing now though I would likely shop around.

Fantastic experience: Whenever I am in Burlington, I make it a point to visit this location. There is plenty of equipment for the high number of people that come through here. Out of all the goodlifes that I visit this definitely has the most active personal trainers. The location of this is key in a very slow strip plaza.
Negative experience: I can't believe when website and hours at Google say they open at 5 and the gym didn't open until 5:30am. I missed my workout this morning because I have to catch the train. Around 10 cars where at the parking lot right at 5 am. What a wast of time and a bad customer service. Everyone here was disappointed

Negative experience: Service was great during onboarding, with the exception over billing and not being able to fix accounting issues. Then it was absolutely horrid when needing to cancel. Manager and personal trainer weren't able to answer basic accounting questions about cancellation and buyout fees and then they disappeared and ignored me. I had to go to another location to close and cancel my account, and it took about 5 minutes, including all questions answered. Would never go back or recommend based on their billing errors alone. Gym itself was alright, relatively clean. Definately not a Movati where the gym and service are amazing.

Positive experience: This isn’t my home club. I visit here occasionally when I am in town and usually am ok with it but it lacks cleanliness. The bathrooms look like they hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. The showers had so much garbage on the floor and clumps of hair on multiple walls. Took almost 10 min to get hot water out of the shower. I wouldn’t pay for this to be my primary club.

Negative experience: A recent renewal error on their website and GoodLife’s refusal to share any accountability for the mistake has led us to cancel our memberships after over a decade. They managed so well through the pandemic, I’m saddened to know that their organizational integrity and customer service has declined so much in that time. The good news is, we’re excited to be checking out all the newer fitness centers in the area.

Negative experience: Ghetto the max. I’ve been a member for 7+ years. This evening I went in to take the freeze off my membership and fully cancel as I have found a gym that more suits my needs. The low class girl at front desk seem bothered when I asked to use the ladies room while she processed my file. Not allowing me entry I politely asked again.. At this point she mumbled requesting my vaccination papers, there is a and place to follow suit with rules and regulations and this simply was not one of those times. Good life please retrain your staff. Front desk is the face of your gym, and trust when I say that krista is not who you want to represent. I would never recommend or suggest this gym to anyone solely based on my experience and your employees etiquette, members pay your salary.

Fantastic experience: I've been to 5 different Goodlife locations across Toronto, Hamilton, and Burlington and the Burlington Centre location is by far the best. It's huge, so even when it's busy it doesn't feel like it, it's got a ton of machines too. I honestly thing the only thing the gym is missing is a pool... but it might be hard to put that on top of a mall. The staff are also phenomenal! I paid for a few sessions with Leo and he was a huge help and a fantastic guy, would totally call him a friend. I sadly can't afford more sessions for now, but when I can, I'll 100% be booking them at this gym with Leo.

Fantastic experience: I think it’s one of if not the biggest GoodLife Fitness in Canada. If you’re reading this comment, please look no further. This gym particular has all the equipment you need and more, you can literally workout every part of your body with their machines. Staff are always super friendly and helpful. Workers and people follow good covid protocols, the place is always squeaky clean. Personally I feel very comfortable working out here, I’ve lost a lot of fat and gained even more muscles since I’ve came here. Builds confidence. Highly recommended!

Positive experience: Very big gym. Great selection of weights. Hammer strength and Free weights. Better than other gyms I go to. Most weight lifters are respectful . A clean and friendly environment. 5 stars with addition of a plate loaded Shoulder press machine (hammer strength). Thanks . Or the plate loaded hammer press… Best Trainer - Michael - I dropped 30 lbs. with Michaels tips and techniques. Put in the work and I can guarantee results. Don’t hesitate, it’s worth every $

Positive experience: Rated against other goodlifes as someone who travels for work in the GTA. Pros: Equipment variety and number. Formatting/equipment location. Not entirely open concept, there is some privacy. VERY good member etiquette for a goodlife of this size...minus...one thing. Cons: I have to mention that my credit card got stolen at this goodlife. I shower quickly (60 seconds or less at a goodlife, just to rinse off sweat and shower properly at home) and in that time, someone ripped off my lock, took my credit card from my wallet, put my lock back together and left the area. Granted, I just had some real bad luck and the employees that helped me with this issue were very good about it. I can't fail to mention this because security concerns knocks this goodlife down from 5* for me. Equipment quality is just okay.
Fantastic experience: I have experienced the best customer service at Goodlife Burlington Centre. I was having a real problem signing up on the website for a Corporate membership. I tried every avenue possible until reaching out to the assistant general manager, Krista. Krista was amazing! She solved my problem from start to finish -- from contacting the Corporate liaison, to giving me her phone number to stay in touch, to offering me access to the club until the problem was solved. She was absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond to help me with the issue. I would definitely recommend this club to anyone looking to begin a fitness journey. The staff and trainers have been nothing but supportive, encouraging and helpful. Krista & Jennifer W. (trainer) are absolutely wonderful and they have made me feel so welcome to the Club. Thank you again!

Fantastic experience: So I wanted to make a review for a Personal Trainer I met because she deserves a big shout out. My boyfriend and I came in for a starter session which was offered to us at no charge when we signed up. I met Lexi and my partner went off with his trainer. She did the standard paperwork which is targeting what I want out of the gym, but right away I noticed she wrote down EVERYTHING I was saying because she knew it was important to me. She seemed to also know I wanted a lot out of this first meeting. She gave me everything I asked for and more. She must have showed me 15 or more exercises to try, a bunch of stretches, taught me about activator movements, tested my flexibility, answered every question I had about form and movements, gave me a schedule to follow, and a ton more. She even gave me tips for reps and sets and the same for my partner despite him having other goals so we could continue to workout together as much as we wanted to. Fast forward to today, I've done 2 workouts with her guidelines as have my partner, our muscles are GASSED we felt the best we ever have in the workout and are pumped about this new schedule. When the time comes that I can afford a PT its going to be Lexi, and if you're looking for one go to her. She genuinely cares and is fantastic!
Fantastic experience: Awesome staff members especially during post-covid re-opening! Always out cleaning, answering questions and keeping members as informed as they possibly can. Shout out to the trainers who've adapted to safe training procedures and continue to share the knowledge in club and online (online classes and training!) Always a pleasure coming in to workout, great energy and sweet workout equipment. Keep it up!

Fantastic experience: I am so impressed with the GoodLife Gym in the Burlington Centre. Although the gym has always maintained high standards regarding hygiene, general maintenance and professionalism, they have surpassed my expectations for the Covid 19 protocol. The numbers are kept low enough to ensure proper spacing and both members and the staff are continually meticulously cleaning the equipment. All of the GoodLife gyms should take their cue from the Burlington Centre facility! Thank you!
Fantastic experience: Lots of parking lots of space inside the gym huge selection of equipment and there is a turf zone to do sled work on. The staff are really nice and friendly too.
