Fantastic experience: Great gym and great people

Negative experience: Prices are confusing, misleading and I could never get a straight answer to what the price was. Don’t trust what the website says as it’s not accurate at all.

Negative experience: I just called to see if they have any promotions at the moment. Turned into a condescending conversation. Told me to go to planet fitness. After that I would never visit. Some people just should not be in jobs where you have to interact with people.

Positive experience: Decent gym, decent equipment

Negative experience: I was going to go to this facility but the staff is quite mean.

Fantastic experience: Best Gym ️‍♀️ in town clean and the equipment is well maintain, and great service and I like the fact that it is twenty four hour gym.

Fantastic experience: I joined Body and Soul just under 3 years ago and it has truly become my second home. The staff is always friendly and the facility is always clean and organized. They make great smoothies and have been upgrading their equipment monthly, as well as tanning for after my workouts has been great, and the atmosphere is always encouraging. Thank you for all your great services and continuously making me feel welcome.

Negative experience: Avoid this place. They make you keep a credit card on file and can charge it whenever they feel. First experience: They had forgot to charge my monthly payment for several months and I didn't notice I wasn't being charged. Then with no notice or phone call explaining, they just back charged me all months missed at once when I wasn't prepared for that larger amount to come out of my account. Second experience: I was paying monthly for over a year as that was the contract signed, then out of no where they charged me for 3 months in membership cost all at once beginning of January. Again no head up or notice just broke the contract and charged an amount I wasn't anticipating. I asked why that happened and said they needed to offset new admin costs by charging all members 3 months worth at once. I asked why I wasn't informed of this change and said they emailed members and put notices in the change room. Which was a lie. I was there the day before and no notices in the gym anywhere, and nothing my email including my spam/junk mail. I didn't bother formally cancelling with them, as I didn't trust they would stop charging my credit card after I cancelled. Instead, I just cancelled my credit card with my bank to ensure they don't have their way with my card any more than they already have.

Positive experience: Very nice and clean gym .I had a bad experience with customer service but it was resolved and they were kind and understanding with me.

Fantastic experience: I've been at Body and Soul for the past 3 years. All new cardio equipment since I've joined and weight rooms are always tidy! Can't beat the 24hr access and smoothies

Fantastic experience: Great gym!! Open 24 hours with a fob. Every piece of equipment you think you need is there. It's clean. You are rarely ever waiting for equipment. Rob is awesome and his staff are friendly.

Fantastic experience: This is the only gym in Kelowna that would let me bring my daughter (11) to actually exercise with me. The owner charged me a very fair amount for her membership, which was less than mine. He said he believed that kids especially need the foundation built for a healthy lifestyle. I’m so appreciative that he allowed this. In addition to that, the equipment is great, very clean, and everyone is super friendly. The 24 hours is just an added bonus. Great gym!

Negative experience: Went for a drop in and on the website it says $12 but I was charged $18.80. The guy at the front desk was very rude and unprofessional. When I walked in there was no greeting and no acknowledgement when I approached the front desk. He asked what gym I went to previously and ignored my response. On my way out I got a shake with extra protein. When I asked for an extra scoop, he made a joke about my size and even suggested I wouldn’t be able to carry my smoothie. Facility was clean but very crowded. Super disappointed with the experience.

Negative experience: The owner of this gym treats people very poorly. He should not own a gym. Look elsewhere.

Negative experience: During the gym closure the owner debited my account and they were not authorized to do so. I spoke with Rob the owner and he told me to come down and he would get me a refund. When I got there he was rude and would not give me my money back. I would not trust this business with your banking information and I would not reccomend going to this facility.

Negative experience: Wow. What kind of gym is this. Lady at the front was rude. Asked me if I had a referral I said no I just want to find a gym I can go to. Asked me where I was coming from and who I knew at the gym ?? What kind of place is this. Felt unwanted and uncomfortable and did not feel Welcome. Told me to come back in a few weeks to talk to a manager. Place is a joke.

Negative experience: Terrible experience, went to do drop in the guy said "No problem", asked me where I trained I told him..then he said sorry we don't do drop in now. Super arrogant, (I have no idea what changed in the 5 minutes, except he didn't like my answer.)Terrible buisness model, super snobby!! unprofessional. There are lots of gyms in kelowna will definitely go somewhere else... this was ridiculous.!!! Do NOT recommend.!!!! Save your self time and energy and go to Another gym in kelowna.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member for 8 years, tried the YMCA because it was closer to my home, The Y was overcrowded, fight to find equipment. Body and Soul is a well run business.

Fantastic experience: As a woman going to a gym, there's great equipment, personal training, weight loss coaching, an infrared sauna & even afterwards there's protein shakes. Any new mom's out there, this is a great place to help you get back into shape. A very professional atmosphere, but lots of eye candy!

Fantastic experience: great facility and vast variety of available equipment. i purchased membership solely for the 24 hour access and generally attended between 11pm-2am, rarely was there more than a handful of respectable other patrons, but i frequently saw a gentlemen come in briefly to sanitize and clean all equipment (during covid) and reorganize stray free weights etc. there was one minor blemish throughout my tenure as a member and was resolved in such a way that shows how much the staff do care about their patrons and facility.

Fantastic experience: Awesome gym, I happily drive twice as far and pass 5 other gyms on the way to this one. staff are always friendly and helpful, they have a sauna which is good for your cardio vascular health and important to me(Google Dr. Rhonda Patrick: Hormetic Stressors and watch the video). Other members take it seriously but are friendly and welcoming and always helped when I needed it! They have 2 bench presses which is really nice, lots of other gyms in Kelowna only have the one and it messes up your entire workout. Along with other really nice, niche and effective machines like the two way preacher curl, the glute bridge machine (saves you countless time from loading and unloading the bar) weighted ab machines that actually work, an obelic machine, T-Bar row but also a machine row.

Negative experience: Website says "Come Visit Us For a Free Trial!". Went in and asked about it and the man standing at reception told me that nothing is free in life except death and taxes. Kept rambling on and told me air was free too. Fine. I told him I'll just do a drop in and was charged $18. Website says $15....

Negative experience: I recently moved to Kelowna and was looking forward to joining a gym close to home. Upon arriving and asking for information (one question), and with the hopes of signing up right away, the gentleman working the front desk was incredibly rude and dismissive. I was taken aback and he gave me an impression that I didn’t belong there. Not a smile, not a “hello, welcome” nothing. I left without purchasing a membership. It was already a struggle for me to go to a gym as I desperately want to get healthy and in shape after dealing with a physical injury, only to be blindsided by someone representing a business in a humiliating manner to a potential customer. Sept 26th, 2:05 pm.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Body and Soul Fitness for quite some time now and I have nothing but great things to say. The gym itself is very clean, has a great atmosphere, and never gets too busy, especially being open 24/7. Rob and Maryann are always there to greet you and make you feel very welcome. Make sure to try out their smoothy bar, best in town!

Negative experience: Payed for 2 months and only lasted 4 days , owner did not offer any free week trial which would have been nice to offer since we only lasted 4 days . My daughter and I felt very uncomfortable working out there . Very small , congested not friendly . Girls with dogs sitting at the front desk every time with the owner and his dog . Did not feel like a gym I was used to , felt like a gossip Center .

Fantastic experience: This is a great gym to go to if you are a student from out of town or just visiting family for a week. The owner let my dad and I share a 10x pass when I was in town for a week. The gym is 24 hour and open on Christmas and Boxing day which was a huge bonus for us. The equipment is great and it wasn’t very busy at the time of day that I was going, so I never had to wait to use any of it. Overall, I highly recommend and will be back next time I am in town.

Fantastic experience: I picked this gym for the 24 hour pass, and I'm pleased with the decision 4 months later. The facilities are pretty high quality, and there's a fair number of cardio machines as well as any kind of free weight or machine I was looking for, as well as a few that I didn't know existed and was pleased to use! I'm mostly in after hours, but the staff has been great for the times that I went during the day.

Rob is a class act, and his establishment reflects this in every aspect. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, and the facility is known for its cleanliness. You will always be greeted with a smile and hello, and the shake bar is fantastic!

Fantastic experience: Rob makes a point of getting to know each and every client. This has been my gym of choice since 2013, and I have no plans of switching anytime soon.

Positive experience: Tried it out one day. Went around lunch time, hardly anybody there which was nice, equipment is old and not much of it. The men's change room was tiny and the shower were terrible. It is open for 24hrs with a key fob but for $50/month and I believe $48 for a corporate price, I don't think it's worth it.
