Fantastic experience: I had a great time at Innisfil BJJ. I just walked in off of the street and Coach Gil took the time to talk to me about everything and set me up for a 1 on 1 personal lesson. One thing that stood out was how clean everything was. Cleanliness is so important in a BJJ school and I've been all over north america in different BJJ schools, Innisfil BJJ was top notch during my visit. I would absolutely recommend it to any newcomers to the sport as well as us old timers who are looking for a friendly roll. Whenever i'm back in Innisfil, I'll be knocking on their door.

Fantastic experience: My family started with Innisfil BJJ during COVID doing private family lessons, myself my husband our daughter (19) and our grandson....it was always done safely with all required protocols. It saved my family's sanity and gave us some much needed exercise and social interaction as was permitted. We looked very forward to our weekly sessions. Coach PK is so welcoming, fun and knowledgeable. After COVID protocols ended our daughter continued and under coach PKs guidance he brought her out of the shell she had around her upping her self confidence. We would still be there if we hadn't moved away .... We've not found another studio to train at that we enjoyed but when we are in the area we make sure to stop in and say hello and play on the Mats with coach and the others at IBJJ. Fantastic experience: I attended the Valentine’s Day class with my husband. It was a lot of fun and PK and his wife did a great job of helping to make everyone feel comfortable. It was my first experience with BJJ and I was surprised we had a lot of laughs, connection and I even learned some self defence techniques. I was a little nervous about training at a new club, but coach PK and his students made me feel welcomed from the first hello! Starting Brazilian Jujitsu, has allowed me to gain tons more confidence in things not just with leadership but through anxiety challenges as well. There's no pressure and with it just being my girlfriend, him and I he was able to focus on us perfecting the basics before moving into the class setting. Even then he managed to move around the room quick enough to make sure everybody was doing it correctly. If you're looking for a great exercise or a new hobby I'd definitely recommend giving this a shot. Did I also mention PK is an amazing coach.
