Fantastic experience: An amazing Athletic centre. I was quite impressed as a coach. Didn't know that existed in Guelph. Although, I didn't get a chance to see the track. Beautiful campus they have there.

Positive experience: The Athletics Centre at on the University of Guelph campus has lots to offer! From an NRG all inclusive fitness pass which provides a weight lifting area, over 25+ different fitness classes all guided by an instructor, many sporting equipment option to sign out, and many more for only about $18 a month. I would suggest to almost every student at the university to choose this gym, although it has gotten very busy with the university’s influx of students over the past 3 years. It also offers approximately $50 off for students paying the university fees.

Fantastic experience: Best physiotherapists at the HPC! Good Pool is cool and great for long swims. Red Pool water is so warm, great for family swims.

Fantastic experience: Amazing facility. Great that they share space with groups in off school times rather than sitting empty.

Negative experience: A super nice facility, that offers a great amount of classes. However, its unfortunate they took away the "Alumni" gym pass. As if the university doesn't have enough income to allow to give past students a small discount. Not as if previous students haven't paid a HUGE amount in tuition and compulsory fees to support the athletic facilities and gym... disappointing for sure.

Negative experience: I've been going here for 3 years, I've rated the gym 5 stars in the past, but this year is different. I have had to leave and get a membership elsewhere because of the sheer number of people using it. Unless you have a ton of patience and free time, this gym is no longer worth it. It's no one's fault but university admissions, but be prepared to have a 45 min workout stretched into 2 hours

I really value the service and the team and coming to just practise humbly and quietly. I know I missed names but I hope everyone values having me there because I just want to focus and be free. Keep up the hard work and I hope everyone is successful with their futures. Don’t forget about me. Thank You all.

Fantastic experience: We are currently involved in a Futsal League at this facility and have enjoyed the experience and professionalism from staff on the weekends. COVID protocols are taken seriously and social distancing is put forward by the staff. The actual gym(s) are great quality for the league and we have enjoyed our experience so far.

Fantastic experience: Technically renamed to the Guelph Gryphons Athletics Centre. They have the old (WFMAC) attached to the newly built GGAC. Bright, spacious, and updated compared to what it use to bed. Love coming here to work out.

Positive experience: Massive weight room, pools, multiple courts (basket ball, volleyball, squash, etc.) and a rock climbing wall all attribute to the W.F. Mitchell Centre being a high class athletic centre. The facilities are kept spotless and staff is always super friendly. Only downfall, it can become super super busy, to the point where it’s uncomfortable. I recommend going on off times, such as early in the morning, or the weekends.

Positive experience: Nice and bright. Great place to workout. However, would be nice to have at least one more rack where standing OHP can be done properly for us tall guys. Most of the current racks have supports overhead limiting a full range standing press. And there's usually a lot of wait time for a more free-form rack to open up. Not a big deal, just would be nice.

Negative experience: I love the U, but this is an older facility and it shows it's age. During various swimming events it gets real busy...

Positive experience: Pretty good minus the crowds since the renovations. Hard to get a squat rack most days. Maintenance is better than last year machines are fixed quicker and aren't breaking down as much it seems. Lots of cardio equipment available all the time with the exception of the stair master.
