Fantastic experience: My kids had a blast at the champion gym hockey camp this summer. They both I learned a lot and had a great time! They appreciated the leadership from the coaches and the different drills they experienced. They definitely would go again!

Fantastic experience: Had our kids birthday party there tonight, after getting to go to one a couple months ago. And let me tell you, it is nothing short of amazing, the staff is fantastic. Its so much fun for the kids. The amount of things there is to do, there's never a dull moment! 10/10 recommend checking out for weekend birthday parties! Thank you again to champion gym!

Fantastic experience: My son absolutely adored this summer camp, all the activities, the coaches and the new friends! He learned so many cool martial arts moves that he couldn’t wait to show us, and shared so many stories and excitement about the excursions. In fact, at every pick up, he told me to go home and come back later. He never wanted to leave!

Fantastic experience: My son attended the U9–U13 hockey camp and had an amazing experience! At first, I thought a 6-hour day might feel long for him, but he came out saying it was so much fun and that he learned a lot. The coaches kept things engaging, and he came home excited to share what he worked on. It was a great mix of skill development and fun for the week, highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: This summer I registered my son for summer camp, the weeks were flexible and I was able to just book him in on the weeks I needed. Registration was seamless, the staff are super nice and my son had a great time this summer. The days were fun filled with activities, inside and outside the gym. The cost was also affordable. Thank you all for taking great care of Mason during his time with you. We appreciate all you guys do! I would recommend this gym to anybody!

Fantastic experience: Both of our boys attended the recent Champion Gym hockey camp and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! The coaches were amazing—so positive, encouraging, and knowledgeable. The kids were constantly moving, learning new skills, and having fun at the same time. We loved seeing how engaged they were throughout the camp. It was such a well-run program, and we’d definitely recommend Champion Gym to any hockey family. We’ll absolutely be back!

Fantastic experience: Was a little skeptical to be honest, didn’t know much about Champion Gym and wasn’t sure they were really known for hockey training, but was pleasantly surprised. Our son (12) did the week long day camp and really enjoyed it. The coaches were fantastic, the off ice training was good, and the classroom/mental training was great. He was a little higher skill level on ice than most of the players in his group but the coaches were able to push and develop each of them at their level. He wasn’t sure about going at first, but he says he’d go again next year. Thanks for a great week!

Fantastic experience: Best place to have a Birthday party. My daughter turned 7 and had 20 kids attend. Every kid had a complete blast and some have requested to have their own Birthday parties there. Staff was great, very helpful and friendly. Will definitely book again next year.

Fantastic experience: It is my go to training club everytime I visit GP. They have comprehensive training program and great training facility. Coaches are well rounded. I like the atmosphere and the family community that they promote. Highly recommended if you visiting and looking for a friendly training atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: Champion Gym PD day camp- I dropped 5 kids off at 7:30am and picked them up at 4:30pm, and they were all sweaty red faces and smiles. They had an AWESOME day. First of all, the service I received was above and beyond. I was struggling to get them all registered, and the lady at the front (i'm sorry I didn't get her name), texted back and forth with me and talked with me on the phone to get my kids registered, the day before!! The kids said that the day was busy, and they had good variety in activities throughout the day. I got home, and within 20 minutes my son was crashed on the couch. I think this is a great option for kids and parents on a PD day. I would for sure take them again. Thanks for everything Champion Gym.

Fantastic experience: Hosted a birthday party here this weekend, and while I am always extremely disorganized, the staff made it so easy and fun for everyone! Very welcoming and we didnt even stop for cupcakes and presents as everyone was having too much fun!

Fantastic experience: We booked the gym for a 11th birthday party and an amazing time was had by all! There is something for everyone and we cannot say enough how wonderful it was!!! The party was easy to book, and everything was a set up when we arrived. The staff were all very accommodating and super friendly!! There was a fridge for us to keep things cold, and they already had tables set up with tablecloths for us to put the cake and presents on. The kids played laser tag under the lights and got to enjoy the fog machine, there were a bunch of blowup toys for them to jump on and they had a great time playing tag with noodles. They also got to experience a little boxing, there was a climbing wall, and a variety of equipment they could use. There was so much available for them to have fun on that the two hours flew by!! Thank-you again to the staff at Champion Gym!! If you have not already, go check them out you will not be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: The Little Champions program really helped our son work on his social anxiety. Coach Grace and the rest of the staff were very accommodating during the 4 or 5 sessions it took for him to participate with the rest of the group. Very positive environment, definitely recommend this program for your little ones.

Fantastic experience: What started as an invite to a birthday party has become months of workouts and excitement for my 2 sons. I started them both in the little superhero classes which they look forward to every single day, and has progressed into attendance of the ninja warrior classes. My boys start every day asking “do we have a gym class today?”. I cannot say enough good things about this gym. The owners and staff are beyond kind, the instructors are incredible and make these kids feel strong and empowered. I’m thankful for that invite so that we could experience this positive culture within our community!

Fantastic experience: This was such a cool spot for our 6 years olds birthday him and his friends ran around having non stop fun the entire time! I would definitely suggest this location to anyone. Fantastic experience: My boy started boxing back in June and just loves it. Got invited to the advanced boxing classes in September and the one on one training is so great. Each coach is so good with him. Between both classes his there 5 days a week and he loves it. Great Facility, great coaches and staff.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love champion gym. Gives my children a outlet for their energy as well as teaches discipline respect and to have fun. It’s not all about winning. Both my children enjoy their time here, especially my special needs child. I was unsure how some of these classes would work with my child’s disability. However at champion gym, they modify these classes to each individual person. Our son enjoys his time there as well as learning skills like every other child in the class. Coach Mandy has been absolutely amazing with him and turned him into wanting to come weekly instead of shying away from difficult tasks. Our boys absolutely love these Saturday fun night & so do I as a parent because it gives me some time to get white time or catch up on things that need to be done ;) Thank you for providing such a great service for our children

Fantastic experience: Champion Gym has been a huge part of our lives for some time now and we couldn't be happier with them. The coaches have helped bring my son out of his shell, build up his confidence and helped him to believe in himself. You can tell how much the staff love what they do and how proud they are of their students. Not only does Champion Gym changes lives but they are extremely active in the community. We will forever be greatful for what they have done for our son!

Fantastic experience: My child has been in class for a few short months. Her confidence in daily life has increased tremendously from this class. The staff are very knowledgeable and welcoming. She is happy to be part of the team!

Negative experience: Unfortunately, our experience here does not line up with some of the reviews. My daughter was thrilled to be attending day camp at Champion. She had been looking forward to it for weeks. Unfortunately, she only ended up going for 3 days. The first day was fine. They played a game in the morning, and walked to a playground in the afternoon. Unfortunately, it soon became clear that this would be their activity every day. My child did almost no MMA, ninja warrior, no rock climbing, none of the things the gym promised in their description of camp. The supervision was sorely lacking, the one day I saw them at the park, all the counselors were sitting at a table chatting and no one had eyes on the kids at the playground. One day she did some boxing in the morning, otherwise they just played a game and went to the park. On day 2, they were walked to musko to play. I had warned the owner of the gym on Monday that my daughter struggles with behavioral and emotional regulation. We are working on a diagnosis, but it can be a lengthy wait. I was assured they could handle it, which turned out to not be true. My child had a small issue playing with others at musko, which their counselor (who is a teacher) escalated into a full meltdown. She encouraged other children to chase my child down, while she screamed to be left alone because she needed space. She told a concerned parent that my child brought this on herself. And when she cornered my child, who lashed out physically, she threatened to call the RCMP, on my 7 year old. This counselor then called me and proceeded to blame my child, without informing me of her own actions against her. This counselor/teacher had the nerve to tell me that parents were approaching with concerns about my child's behavior, how embarrassing it was, and called my child's behavior "ridiculous". My child was sent home for the day, with the counselor threatening that she wouldn't be allowed back, which the female owner overrode. The only reason I allowed my child back, was because that counselor was going to be away the remainder of the week. This day went so badly, that I had a concerned parent, who I did not previously know, track me down to let me know what she witnessed, because she was so concerned for my child and the way she was treated. Day 3 was a better day for my child mentally, and they said she did fine. Unfortunately, she was injured badly this day, and the staff did not inform me until I picked her up at the end of the day. Her ankle was badly sprained at Muskoseepi park, due to an accident that could have been prevented. The children were allowed to go play in the splash pad without proper attire or towels, and then encouraged to play on the playground. This led to a child slipping and landing on my child's ankle, resulting in a severe sprain. It was bad enough that they provided her with an ice pack and tried to wrap it in a tensor bandage, and yet they made her walk the 1.5km back to the gym rather than calling me. It was so swollen that we ended up spending hours in the ER that night to make sure it wasn't broken. The doctor said it was badly sprained, and worsened from walking so far on it afterwards. I am incredibly disappointed with Champion gym, their staff, and their day camp. We will not return, and I would not recommend that anyone, specially the parent of a child with behavioral or mental health issues, send their child there.

Fantastic experience: My experience could not possibly have been better than it had been at champion. So far three of my 5 children have attended classes here (we’ve tried out 6 different things). The coaches are firm but fun and fair. The owner goes WAY above and beyond for families and the atmosphere is one of everyone giving their best. I will say that they have realistic expectations of good behaviour of their students….good!!! I myself have had a child that acted out badly and needed to not attend for a while (they did not request this, it was my choice). The coaches get the very best out of students and the kids are excited to earn their teachers praise. As a side note it is also by FAR the best bang for your bucks that I’ve seen in GP.

Fantastic experience: Got my oldest boy here now 7yrs & my youngest going on 3yrs now and both in Jujitsu and they love this place. Coach Randy is awesome with my boys and all the other kids! The owner has a games night on Saturday’s from 6-8 and it’s crazy fun for all the kids.

Fantastic experience: Just joined Champions gym. I’ve done the boxing and kickboxing class with Alex. Great instructor! An awesome work out. Excited to try out the other classes.
