Positive experience: I really like the gym, but I'm sick of the issues with the card lock system. There's nothing worse than showing up to workout, when you've paid for after hours access, and you can't get into the gym.

Fantastic experience: I was visiting Fernie, BC for the weekend. I had always only passed through Fernie and never stopped. Fernie is a small town of 7000 people with a significant visiting tourist base as well. Evolution Fitness was AMAZING. Not a massive corporate gym, but large enough to suit all needs Fitness! I had 2 visits. A Friday and Saturday morning at 10 am. Was not crowded or packed. ALL the equipment was good quality and everything in working order. Cardio area, weights/machines area, functional fitness area, yoga room, spin class room, climbing wall, etc...they have it all. I was really impressed at the attention to detail on cleanliness. The plates and accessories were meticulously in order, no mess or piles of bars, straps, or plates. Well done. I would definitely be a member here. Staff was also friendly. My only negative observation was they only open or staffed starting at 1000 am for drop in guests. They are 24/7 with keyboard access for regular members. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: One of the best gyms that i've been to. You can tell the owner takes great pride in thier business. The owner keeps the gym very, very clean.

Fantastic experience: This gym is a hidden gem! I spent 5 days in Fernie and was able to buy a 7 day pass for $30! What a deal! It’s very well maintained. Very warm staff. A great space and all the equipment you would need when on vacation. I will always come here when in Fernie! I highly recommend it.

Positive experience: Was a good gym could get crowded at time and some equipment was missing but other than that it was a clean well organised gym with reasonable pricing

Fantastic experience: Hi all, I have been traveling around the Kootenays all winter, and have been using facilities in every town I stop. I am very impressed by the operations, cleanliness, use of space, the equipment available, the classes and their instructors, and the cost of admission was spot on. $15/day or $30/ week, classes included. Great gym/people/town, thank you The only constructive criticism I could give, would be later hours of operation, and a little more attention to the showers. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thanks again ✌️

Positive experience: C'est un gym efficace, à l'ancienne, un peu daté, mais surtout très sombre. Il y a des cours et plusieurs types de pratiques au même endroit, malheureusement pour ma pratique du cardio ce n'est pas adéquat.

Fantastic experience: Mel was extremely helpful and made me feel very comfortable as a newcomer. I have not tried the gym as I am only interested in their tanning facility. She was very knowledgeable and allowed me the space to make the best decision on purchasing. I will be returning.

Fantastic experience: Awesome gym! So much space to work out in with many options depending what you need for your workout. There’s even a small climbing wall with a rope you can climb for strength/skill training. Highly recommend this gym in Fernie!!

Fantastic experience: I come to town only a few times a month so I got a punch pass and went in for my first workout today. Seemless process to get going and it works out to about $12 a drop in, taxes in with the 10 pack for $120 vs $15 for a drop in. Very complete setup with lots of cardio and machine options, large spaces for HIIT or whatever calisthenics you're doing and even a great looking climbing section. Wasn't super busy at 6:30 when I got back from work. There's two power racks and a landmine area for some heavy lifting. I can't comment on the showers or tanning beds because I had to run back to the hotel but I'll update when I'm back next.

Fantastic experience: What an incredible little gem of a gym that turned out to be the most pleasant surprises I've had in recent months. Fallon at the front desk welcomed me with open arms and treated me like family. She gave me an awesome tour of the gym which blew me away with how much it offered to be a gym situated in the middle of nowhere. It has pretty much everything you can think of and the drop in fee is ridiculously cheap, $13. I was expecting $25. I had so much fun rope climbing and got carried away with it lol.

Fantastic experience: Good little gym with all you really need. Spin studio, heavy dumbbells, lots of benches & machines, nice change rooms, a CrossFit area, nice staff, super clean. I bought a month’s membership for the week I’m here and it works out to an extremely reasonable daily/drop-in rate.

Fantastic experience: I really like that they have 1 week and 2 week passes. I work a two weeks on 2 weeks off shift so it’s perfect for me.

Fantastic experience: I love this gym! It's surprisingly big, well equipped and most of all affordable! There is plenty of room for your solo workouts either in the main room with all the machines (haven't tried that yet), fit-to-play room (love this one!) with all the toys for functional training, to a gallery with threadmills, steppers, bikes... to a room for spinning and yoga... You can also choose from several group workouts, my fave one right now is spinning fusion with Sydney.
