Negative experience: Charged almost $200 to sign up and was not presented different options. Gym membership is $73/month for what? Broken machines or treadmills that only work if you go slow and nowhere to stretch if there is a class happening. I reached out to them 2 weeks ago about membership options to see if I can get on something more affordable. Nicer gyms with better classes are similar in price. Only benefit is it is close to home. I would not recommend as they are not responsive and customer service is abysmal. Not impressed at all.

Fantastic experience: Terrific gym, great atmosphere, and very hard working staff. Feels like home over being a business. Friendly people train at Torch!

Negative experience: After they get you for the year long commitment (which DOES NOT actually end after 1 year) it will leave you sour towards this place. They will take your hard earned cash if you’re sick, moved countries or dead. Don’t dare miss a payment even after a year either or they will charge you an NFS fee on top of your banks NFS fee. Beachwalk has become a money hungry corporation. Staff was always nice though, and the place was always clean.

Positive experience: Clean, friendly gym. My only problem is when someone uses a machine for over 40 minutes, seriously move on!

Negative experience: Joined in November was told there was child watch 3 to 4 days a week. After the new year they no longer had child watch and wouldn't help me get out of a 1 year contract I only agreed on because of child care. Took 2 months to even hear from personal trainer for complimentary session. Wouldn't reccomend at all.
