Fantastic experience: Amazing!

Fantastic experience: Top of the line equipment, including Rogue plates, CrossFit rigs and squat racks. No real cable machines, but enough bands, dumbbells, kettlebells, and landmines to get a good pump even if you're not training for CrossFit. Bathroom was clean too.

Fantastic experience: Out of many drop ins all around the world this box is solid top-3. Their Crossfit class is well guided with a solid warming up and focus on safe and technically correct movements. The vibr in the box is very open and friendly, the equipment is well organised and plentiful and the place is clean. Signing up is easy and the staff was very helpful. Definitely recommend and will return when able.

Fantastic experience: I dropped in 3 days here while visiting Halifax for work. The coaches were really friendly and so were the regular members. Classes ran started and finished on time, and I had great workouts each time. I will definitely return the next time I'm in town. Parking is a little hard to find if the lot is full, so plan a few extra minutes for that.

Fantastic experience: So happy I tried this place out while travelling! Great staff, friendly members, and amazing workouts! One thing I really love about ironstone is the variety of classes they offer. The facility itself was also top knotch. I'll be popping in for classes every time I'm in halifax if I lived in the area I'd be a member no questions.

Negative experience: If you want to get yelled at on your first day for not knowing where the equipment is kept, you might like this gym. My credit card was cancelled due to fraud, and so I didn't bother filling out the cancel subscription form. There was an error, and they still got a payment of $175. When I contacted them to ask them to refund, Morgan refused. She was so condescending and rude to me. If you like being treated poorly and having your $$ stolen, you should definitely try this gym. Worst experience I've ever at at a gym and I'll never go back. Edit: This circumstance was exceptional. When I explained it, Morgan's response was basically, too bad for you. I'm not coming to your gym, so you have no reason to keep my money. That's greedy, unethical and disgusting. I'll continue to tell everyone I know about it. That to me is theft. You took my money without me getting anything in return. I'm a student. It's so disgraceful that you can't make an exception given the circumstances. In these times, it's especially gross of your business to not treat ppl like humans.

Coach Tiffany was very knowledgable, happy to be there and nice to talk with! The quality of teaching was better than expected. The workouts are fun and never repetitive, the support from the coaches is what keeps me coming back!

Positive experience: The gym is spacious and well-maintained, and the people are friendly. There's a small lot in front and lots of street parking. Unfortunately there's no where to lock up your stuff.
