Grand Fitness

Negative experience: My adult children use Grand Fitness when they’re home visiting and have never had a problem and like dealing with Mike. Tammy is now the person to deal with and is not good at communicating but great at taking your money without providing services. My daughter tried to use the gym during Christmas for the 3weeks that she was here; Tammy took 3 payments from her totalling $185.00 (2 payments of $70 each for monthly membership and a $4500 charge for something else. My daughter was only able to get in a few times over a 3 week span because she wasn’t provided access by Tammy. Tammy has been contacted on a few occasions to ask for a refund. Tammy told me that she was refunding my daughter at the beginning of June 2025 and there’s still nothing. Do yourself a favour and go to a reputable gym. I really wish Mike would step in and right this wrong. My kids have always said what a good person Mike is I don’t know why Tammy feels the need to cheat and steal from people; great community spirit. I guess it doesn’t pay to support local businesses. SHAME ON YOU TAMMY AND GRAND FITNESS!!!

Fantastic experience: Great gym.awesoome equipment. Fairly priced and easily accessible. The owners went out of their way to make sure I was able to get in for my workouts while here on Holidays. Highly recommended

Negative experience: I wouldn't bother. I Recently moved into the area and decided to get back into shape. I found their website and was excited there was a 'local' gym, not a 'big box' style gym. I left them a message via their website contact page. Nothing. OK, we all get busy, so I went there in person. The gym was open but the door was locked, I think there is some sort of 'scan in' system. OK I can understand that. There was 2 different phone numbers to call printed on the door. I called them both, they both went to voicemail, I left a clear and concise message on each machine. About a week has gone by since. Nothing. Dead air! I have just set up a home gym and I'm more than happy with that. I certainly wont be making any more attempts to join that place.

Positive experience: Great equipment, the people were great, only thing was the price of the day pass

Negative experience: don't link canceling memberships would writher steal your money for months on end

Negative experience: Terrible customer service. Male owner states one thing on the phone and then when you call to sign up his wife tells you something totally different. Wasn’t even able to go into the gym to see the facilities. Had to stand outside on the phone while arguing with owners about getting set up. And he said/she said with owner wife/husband combo. Wild. And way overpriced. Avoid

On top of all that they also have a nutrition bar where you can get smoothies, wraps, salads and more highly recommended stopping in for your FREE trail :)

The atmosphere in this gym is so great - the staff are all friendly and helpful and the owner is someone who obviously cares about the interests of the members. I joined recently and already have noticed an increase in my energy and strength - and the aesthetic benefits are beginning to show as well. Even if you're new to fitness or getting back into it after a long time, you will find this gym a great place to set yourself on the right track. Oh yes...and the smoothies are amazing! I'm so glad I checked it out.
