Fantastic experience: I’ve done a lot of Road Tripping throughout Canada and the US. Drumheller’s Community Recreation Centre is by far one the best facilities for a town of that size in all the provinces and states I have visited. If visiting Drumheller don’t even consider going anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Well appointed facility. Modern equipment, wide selection, and varied options of cardio, free weights, and machines. There is TRX, running track, spin bikes pickleball, badminton, and basketball courts. The locker rooms and showers are clean and spacious. Day lockers are available--and they are full length. The staff are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I will make a concerted effect to make time to visit everytime I'm in Drumheller.

Fantastic experience: I am very much impressed by the gym; it's very clean with new, sturdy equipment, with a large variety of it. It seems very quiet on a daily basis. The running track, while small, is a great addition. The changerooms are spacious and properly designed and functional. I believe any gym goer will love this gym.

Positive experience: Great variety of things for a small city, when we first moved here we went here almost daily! Lots of events taking place, Library with friendly staff and lot of great events/resources, good food available, best community centre I've been too lots of kid friendly events

Negative experience: Mediocre gym with staff that is not very friendly. It feels like a corporate environment, not a gym. I’d recommend everybody’s gym over this

Fantastic experience: We were there today for a wedding and a photoshoot for said couple. Lots of room, large halls for events and so much more. I had never seen this place the last time we were here. Cool stuff all around about dinosaurs too. This facility is my recommendation for a wedding reception or even for a ceremony as well. Wont be disappointed here. Very modern.

Fantastic experience: Great place. If people in this community don’t start using this place (always empty) I don’t see it being around much longer. Be a shame if people don’t wise up and see what great facility they have in their community. The only improvement I would suggest is it would be nice if the pool was connected to the gym so you could soak in it without having to go through the cold in the winter. But hey… doesn’t matter anyways… can’t see the town putting much effort into it without equal effort from the community.

Fantastic experience: For the town it’s located in, This is a premier facility with premium top grade equipment, staff is friendly and super helpful, unbelievable basketball courts, hard to even think about the other place in town.

Positive experience: Great facility. New, generous professional layout. We had internet issues due to a regional outage but the facility did what it could. Also the projector screen didn't come down. Blame Covid, I guess.

Fantastic experience: We only took showers there for a really small price (2.25$). People were kind and helpful. They even have us a towel!! Everything was crystal clean!!!

Fantastic experience: Used the small meeting room for business meeting. Staff is super friendly and met all of our needs. This is an all around great facility and Drumheller is lucky to have it. Great view of the park and river valley right outside the meeting room window!

Positive experience: Facility is average, has everything needed to get a good workout in, however the hours are so pathetic. As the largest gym facility in town, they should at least have it open til 10pm every night- if not 11. Also for the amount that I pay to get in (which is a ridiculous almost $10 for drop in), they should be able to meet demand...

Fantastic experience: I am so thankful for Badlands Community Facility and for their staff! We chose this place for our wedding weekend and we had the best day ever! The venue accommodated what we needed. It was so convenient to have our ceremony outside and the reception right inside. The hall was exactly what we needed! We came in bringing all of our decor and decorated the place ourselves. The weekend rate was very helpful for us and the prices for rental was so affordable especially for DIY brides. I highly recommend this venue!

Positive experience: A friends son had his wedding at this venue. There is a great outdoor space behind and inside the banquet room is large and lends itself well to beautiful decorations. We were able to set our brunch buffet outside then banquet room leaving loads of space for guests. The facility was clean and bright.

Positive experience: Visited the library in the facility. It is so open and light, great staff and so much for you to borrow from books to dvds to periodicals to so much more or sit and work on a jigsaw puzzle or computer or color a page. There is something for everyone.

Fantastic experience: The Badlands Community Facility is a perfect place to bring your whole family for some fitness fun and activities. The knowledgeable staff is always available and fun. Lots of space for fitness or meetings, in one of there many rooms available. Absolutely love coming here.

Fantastic experience: Only rating the gym/workout area as I haven't seen or used the others. Very nice facility. Fairly new. The equipment is in good shape and varied. The upstairs part is nice with a track to run. The changerooms and bathrooms were clean. Nice park behind the facility to do a picnic or relax.
