Fantastic experience: I want to make a shout out to an amazing staff member with the leg tatoos, sorry didn't catch your name, but he was working the desk July 21st at 3pm. The place was a zoo! The noise level was high with happy children and the impact gun as the pit was being reset. I came in with my Nero divergent client who upon coming in covered his ears. The staff was super accommodating and apologized for the noise and business. We weren't sure how long we would stay due to the high traffic. Within 15 minutes of arriving the noise of the impact quit. Slowly the gym quieted down as family's left. We were able to stay our whole session and have a great day. This staff member has been super helpful everytime I come in with a Nero divergent client. He is amazing! Thank you for your acceptance, accommodation and friendliness.

Fantastic experience: Needed an indoor activity for the kids and this was great. The kids play area was perfect for a toddler and kindergartner, and I think the climbing walls definitely peaked their interest. Very fun!

Fantastic experience: 1st visit was fantastic. Had my 2 young kids 4 & 5 and they loved it, harnesses were easy to fit and the safety system is super safe and user friendly. Staff was awesome and very friendly. Great value all around and great vibes in the place. Will be back 100%

Fantastic experience: Huge climbing centre for all ages. Big walls, Kilter board, bouldering walls, kids play zone. Coffee and snacks for kids and grown ups. We really appreciated the all ages approach, friendly staff, and huge space/variety. Strongly recommend!

Fantastic experience: This is such a great place to get the kids to let out their energy. Love the jungle gym set up, so there is more for them to do then just climb. And the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly.

Fantastic experience: We have had such a fun and welcoming experience every time we visit Cranbrook. The prices are super fair, we just get the half day pass (4 hours worth) which is perfect for families. The iced mocha is good, and you can bring your own water bottle. Hunter who works at the front gives super helpful tips for beginners and is super friendly and reassuring for those afraid of heights! Overall; Arq is safe, tidy and great for burning energy, for kids (and parents) when you're in town.

Fantastic experience: Great place for the family. Had their deck open, which gives a nice open-air feel to the place. They serve a great American, and the younger kids enjoyed the playground while my older and I did the walls. Very versatile place.

Negative experience: Used this place once and got ropped into a monthly subscription since it was only double the price for one visit. After months of not using the membership at all I finally made it in person to cancel but being March 3rd I'll be paying in April as well now. It is what it is but after months of not using a membership it'd be nice to not have to pay to not go for another month.

Fantastic experience: We just had my granddaughters third birthday here. I can not say enough about the staff and environment. The kids had a blast. The young man assigned to our party, Giddeon(sorry if I didn't spell this correctly), was amazing. He was so accommodating, happy, and energetic. Thank you for everything.

Fantastic experience: We were in Cranbrook for the day and Climb ARQ had something to keep our teenagers and our toddler entertained for two hours and great coffee to keep the adults happy. The staff were so friendly, welcoming and accommodating.

Fantastic experience: Just recently heard about this place, so we decided to check it out (im not a climber but I have a toddler who loves climbing) It was brilliant and super impressed. They have a coffee bar and snacks, a seating area, it was very clean and they also sell climbing gear. The person who helped us on the front desk was friendly, knowledgable and enthusiastic. Will defo be back when come to Cranbrook!

Positive experience: Amazing space to play but VERY grumpy staff. Rude to kids and unfriendly, especially the female. Disappointing customer service and staff. Management should consider hiring new staff. Everything else was great!

Fantastic experience: The Arq has been an awesome facility for myself and my family. The kids area keeps my girls playing hard for sometimes hours, depending on how many other kids come through the door. Good wholesome free-range fun for them. There are enough amenities there to make a visit that long comfortable. I slip in a few climbs on the auto belays and usually a quick session on the cardio machines. Makes my day feel accomplished. Kids are happy and Dads happy. Definitely recommend it! They've done a few upgrades and updates, so if you haven't been in a while the space is better than before.

Fantastic experience: We are visiting for the area for 2 weeks and needed a place to exhaust our 2 year old. This is the place! Huge kids climbing contraption, great for all ages (parents too! but snug corners) The rest of the place looks like it would be fun to climb on for older kids/ adults. Great staff and a coffee/ tea bar too! So happy we found this place!

Fantastic experience: Excellent place to exercise high energy children! They absolutely love it! And at the same time they develop other valuable skills, agility, strength, and self confidence. Well worth the price. About $30 for 2 kids to drop in and hang as long as they want. Comfy sitting area for lazy parents too. Drinks and snacks available. One of our favourite places! Go here!

Fantastic experience: An Outstanding Facility with Exceptional Staff!" Cranbrook is fortunate to have a gym of this caliber. The facility itself is fantastic, offering a spacious and well-designed setting that caters to both recreational climbers and those with a competitive edge. The atmosphere leans towards the competitive side, and the gym regularly updates its routes, keeping things fresh and exciting. My only suggestion for improvement would be the density of routes per rope. Given the gym's relatively compact size, it would be great to see 4-5 routes per rope, rather than just 2-3. That said, Arq has demonstrated a consistent commitment to improvement, so I’m confident they’ll continue to refine and enhance the climbing experience. Overall, I still wholeheartedly give this gym 5 stars for its outstanding service, fantastic staff, and dedication to growth. Highly recommended!
