Fantastic experience: Kempe is truly a gem in Cold Lake. They put so much care and dedication into their kids programs. My daughter has gained such confidence in herself and is building self awareness consistently. The coaches here genuinely care about the sport and the wellbeing of the tiny athletes. It’s a community of wonderful human beings and I highly encourage anyone to check it out. Bernie and Debra have created something so special and needed.

Fantastic experience: The owner of this place is beyond generous and nice, I got evacuated from Manitoba For wildfires and he let me come and practice for free. In addition, the People are so skilful and good to train with. I can’t Say enough good things about this facility

Fantastic experience: I dropped in for the Sunday BJJ class while visiting family in Coldlake and was welcomed by everyone there. Class was lead by Bernie who is the owner and his instruction was very good. They have a great atmosphere and I felt safe rolling with everyone. I will definitely be back the next time I am in the area and highly recommend this academy to any wanting to start BJJ or looking for a place to train while visiting. Fantastic experience: A great local club offering a variety of self defense and fitness courses. Local owners pricing themselves on offering classes to youth to enhance their self esteem, self defense classes to evey age and other fitness classes and events, Kempe Fitness & Fighting is a great addition to the Cold Lake Community. The owners are highly experienced and passionate and the success of many of their students is a testament to their craft and dedication.

Fantastic experience: Can't say enough good things about this place. It's clean, well maintained, and the programming is well organized. My son has been going here for about 2 years, and it has taught him so much confidence and discipline. The teachers that run the classes are very skilled, patient, and passionate about teaching these art forms, their love for the sport(s) definitely shine through. Cold Lake is lucky to have access to such a quality studio, and I look forward to watching my sons continued development!

Fantastic experience: I was spending a month in cold lake for work. I signed up for the BJJ gi & No gi with a friend. We had a great time, all members were very nice to us. The instructors did an awesome job as well, they give quality training, the demos are very well detailed and they take the time to make sure that we apply the techniques properly. The gym is clean and well maintained. If you have doubts about signing up, dont wait any longer it is worth it they have a great team, I would return anytime. Thank you Kempe Fitness & Fighting.

Fantastic experience: I was looking for a new activity for my son to do and came across Kempe. When I went to sign him up for a BJJ Gi class their were no openings. When one opened a short time later, they informed me right away. They have been awesome and very welcoming. Highly recommend trying it out.

The owners truly care about the clients that step through that door, as well as the community they are in. The location itself is always kept clean and tidy, with easy access and free parking available.
