Fantastic experience: Friendly staff and vibe. Fair prices. Solid equipment despite some being a bit outdated (e.g., rectangular bench seats). Never too busy. Everything you need for a good pump and 24/7 access is a bonus.

Fantastic experience: The Yard was my first Gym Experience, I was afraid at first but everyone was very polite an all the other goers were respectful too. Darcy was great at the front desk too.

Fantastic experience: Got a full weekend on Leg, Push, Pull. Great little spot, easy online sign up for drop ins. Super helpful staff over the phone to navigate the online drop ins - no in person sign up required. Highly recommend for a gym if you’re visiting town for a short period.

Positive experience: Gym is one of the best equipped I’ve been too I trialled this gym when deciding where to go. The bathroom and shower are is one of the worst, and when this is a vital part of your membership, it just doesn’t hold enough value. 80 a month for a normal membership is very high for 1 person! If they did it for couples I could see value, but when you can sign up to planet fitness for 30 in other towns and bring a guest anytime and little more for anytime fitness then the value is hard to compare. I also prefer their bathroom and shower facilities more than the yard. Lack of water fountain is also very unprofessional for a gym. Costs nothing compared to the machines, so were expected to use a kitchen sink to fill ‍♂️

Fantastic experience: This place has everything you need to get your sweat on, all the usual treadmills, free weights and several machines, as well as a big ole tire, a weighted sled, full set of kettlebells, and a heavy bag for adding some variety to your workouts. I like that there's no big crowds, and there are nice people who go there.

Positive experience: The yard is a clean gym with friendly staff and great ventilation! I'm only visiting here for 2 weeks, and when i came in i was greeted by the staff who showed me around and welcomed me. I highly recommend this gym!

Fantastic experience: I'm new to Campbell River, checked out a few of the gyms here and the Yard is by far the best. They have a huge variety of plate loaded equipment, free weights, cable machines and cardio machines. The staff so far have been very friendly and welcoming. It is a bright facility with lots of big windows and overhead doors I'm assuming they open in the summer. It is also kept very clean!
