Fantastic experience: Compared to other gyms in Saskatoon, I truly enjoy coming to this one. The equipment is top-notch, the facility is always clean, and most importantly, the front desk staff are incredibly friendly and supportive. Positive experience: 3 stars mainly because of the poor customer service, even though the gym itself is clean and well-maintained. I was a member at Motion Fitness in Brighton for almost 3 years and had a discounted membership. Since I was moving, I asked multiple times — including directly speaking with the club manager — if I could transfer my membership to someone else. Each time, I was told yes. I even had them check my profile in person to confirm the transfer was allowed. But when it came time to actually transfer the membership, I was suddenly told no. The woman I spoke with on the phone was rude, even after I explained I had already spoken to her about it previously in person. Instead of offering any help, she pushed me to just cancel it. I agreed to cancel but asked if my final payment could be put on hold until I was able to find work — she said yes — but they still went ahead and charged my account. That ended up causing overdraft fees totaling almost $450. The communication between staff is honestly terrible. While the gym is clean and well-organized, I wouldn’t recommend the Brighton Motion Fitness to anyone simply because of the way customer service is handled. That said, I’d give the Blairmore location 5 stars — the staff there actually try to help and care about their members. It’s unfortunate that kind of service doesn’t carry over to Brighton.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Motion Fitness for a while now. I love all the facilities it offers for the price I paid. The classes are in my top favourite, all the instructors are well trained and do a good job. I can get daily dose of workout just by taking one of those classes. The big space, all sort of equipments, steam room, hot sauna, massage chairs all together provide a complete package. A daily dose of fitness under one room. The staff is friendly and supportive at all the time. I would recommend this gym to anyone who wish to start their fitness journey.

Positive experience: As a former personal trainer, front desk staff etc at multiple gyms over the years this gym is okay. It’s not the cleanest (under machines, stairs, etc) and my biggest complaint is it’s WAY TOO HOT. The windows in the gym are huge which let in so much heat, it’s the warmest gym I’ve ever been in. They need to crank the ac.

Negative experience: Its like zoo in that gym over crowded no Room to move around never mind doing any exercises They got kids under age wondering around instead of them doing something els they sit on machines and text very terrible I head to cancel my gym 2 month latter otherwise it’s good place to work out clean friendly stuff its just overcrowded

Negative experience: The gym is consistently overcrowded and uncomfortably warm. I often feel as though I’m going to pass out during my workouts, and it’s difficult to complete my cardio sessions properly. This makes it challenging to get the most out of my time at the gym. I kindly request that the air conditioning be addressed. Additionally, after I raised my concern with the front desk, I was met with an unhelpful response, as they seemed to dismiss my complaint. To make matters worse, there was no toilet paper in the washroom during my visit. I would appreciate it if these issues were resolved promptly.

Positive experience: Staff and equipment area are good and cleaned. Otherwise, the showers are very often smelling like urine and not cleaned. I used a shower room and after 24h when I came back the same piece of paper was there. Please review this area cleaning schedule.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Mortion fitness for more than 7 years, I started to go to Brighton Mortion after opening the new location. It is a nice gym. Also a clean and well maintained gym and the staff are very friendly too. I would like to recommend the Morton fitness in Brighton is the best gym to have a membership.

Negative experience: My god they suck at maintaining this place, I let them know about all the dead bulbs in the tanning rooms countless times over several months and nothing happens.

Negative experience: If I could rate less than one star I would. After harassment and stalking from one of their members earlier this year, In May I attempted to cancel my membership. after ALOT of hassle involving the managers, police, numerous staff members, they agreed to cancel my membership but i’d have to pay it out until my contract was up in June, I said whatever and agreed to pay until my 1 year contract was up beginning of June and then it was to be cancelled. They then continued to charge me for 4 more months, after contacting them in september they denied ever cancelling my membership, said they would cancel now but they would provide no refund. (They renewed my year contract and increased price without me agreeing). Knowing how motion fitness works, I went ahead and put a stop payment on my account incase they continue to try and charge me and sure enough last week I received an email stating my recent payment was declined and that they will try again. I’m so tired of having to deal with this gym when this was supposed to be completely done in June, when my year contract was finished. Before getting a membership with Motion I had heard numerous stories of them continuing to charge people after cancellation but decided to take the risk and I am definitely regretting that now, it should not be this difficult to cancel a membership.

Fantastic experience: 5 Carla is so knowledgeable and great to work with. I have back and knee issues and prior to my training sessions, I was unable to walk up stairs without holding onto railing. Now after training with Carla, I’m running up stairs, my body is stronger & less sore! Well worth the money spent on training sessions and very worth the 5 review! LM

Negative experience: The front desk girl on weekend nights at brighton gym is always busy facetiming on her phone. Friday night (nov 22) she has been on facetime for 2+ hours. In the past, I have had to call her thrice before she listened, since she had airpods on and was talking loudly in her native language (Guessing punjabi) on the video phone. Shouldn’t take a job if you have no interest doing it properly. Update: Nothing has been done to resolve the issue as of Saturday night, same girl on the front desk, on the phone since she started the shift. It’s funny that a couple of people wished her goodnight as they were walking out and she didn’t even hear or respond as she is on a phone call with her earphones on. I have never seen this kind of staff in stonebridge or blairmore locations.

Fantastic experience: Motion Fitness at Brighton is a great facility with many amenities, but the greatest one is the childcare. I’ve been using it for about two years and both my kids love it. They are always well taken care of which gives me a peace of mind to enjoy my work out. I couldn’t recommend it enough!

Fantastic experience: Motion Fitness childcare at the Brighton location is AMAZING!! Our kids love going to see Miss Ivy & the girls and it allows me to still get workouts in with little kids. Definitely the reason we go to this gym
