Negative experience: During the winter months this gym is filthy, having to remove outdoor shoes is not enforced and the stairs are filthy and wet, not to mention when you take your shoes off you have to walk back in all the dirt when their is another door that we can use which is locked. Wouldn’t be so bad if it was cleaned regularly so at least we don’t have to walk in it but it’s not cleaned. When Jay ran this location it was always spotless even during the winter months.

Fantastic experience: GoodLife Belleville is a well kept, clean and welcoming atmosphere- Dakota in the morning is always a nice way to start the day. A friendly smile and a good morning- always! The women’s only section is always spotless as well as the change rooms- the lady who works in this area keeps it well stocked and clean! The equipment is in excellent condition. The sauna is my favourite way to end a workout! Always clean and toasty! The general manager Leigha was very helpful as well as her assistant manager upon registering. Very glad to have made the switch to GoodLife.

Positive experience: Recently switched to goodlife from planet fitness, I like the larger gym and there is more selection for machines. Ryan was very helpful getting my membership set up and showing me around the gym. He also provided alternate exercises for me due to an injury. I would like to have nicer tvs in the gym to watch sports while working out and maybe better air conditioning during the hottest summer days. Overall good gym with good employees.

Fantastic experience: Been coming to this location now for a few years. The staff are all easy to work with and talk to. Very helpful and knowledgeable. In particular these two (Max and Ryan) always bring a sense of welcome when u arrive! It’s not the best Goodlife’s out there but it’s for sure a quality location with many fun staff to keep ur mood uplifted

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member of GoodLife for several months now, and I can honestly say it’s been one of the best experiences I’ve had. From the moment you walk in, the environment is welcoming — the staff are friendly, upbeat, and truly seem to care about your goals. The facility itself is well-maintained. Equipment is in good condition, and there’s a solid variety of machines — free weights, resistance machines, cardio gear — enough so that even during busier times I’m rarely waiting around long to use what I need. Cleanliness is definitely a highlight. Common areas, change rooms, floors — the cleaning staff is clearly on top of their game. It makes the workouts more comfortable when you don’t have to worry about hygienic issues.

Positive experience: Nice gym but can’t understand why there are no towels when every other GoodLife has them

Fantastic experience: Recently started here at Goodlife this past year and I’ve never felt so welcome I decided to go out of my comfort zone and try the classes and it’s such a great add to your routine. Fantastic experience: I have never been someone who works out but I decided to give it a try this year and it’s been great! GoodLife is a great gym and my favourite part about it is there classes. My favourite classes are Ride and Zumba which is thought by Jacob. He always brings the energy and confidence I need to do the classes he makes working out fun. Anyone who attends his classes can tell that he loves his job and he puts that love into every class. I have never been excited to work out but with Jacob as the instructor and his great playlists how could you not be excited! I definitely would recommend both his Ride and Zumba classes!

Fantastic experience: I have been a member for almost 26 years as well as other gyms/training studios in the community. It’s always the staff that makes your experience the best. Everyone here is great, however Jacob has brought an energy to the club that’s next level! Take a ride or zumba class or even meet him at the front desk. Your day will be better for it! Fantastic experience: I have been a longtime member of Goodlife but a new Zumba goer. Jacob is an amazing instructor and we are so lucky to have him in Belleville. Fantastic experience: I recently joined GoodLife in Belleville because I LOVE group fitness. I have been so so pleased with Zumba - Jacob V is an amazing fitness instructor!! He is so energetic and he makes the classes sooo fun. I absolutely love how I feel during and after his classes. Jacob even welcomed me with open arms into the gym and helped me set me up for my first body pump class with Alana. Alana has been a fantastic and inspiring instructor while I explore strength training too! Negative experience: I feel very qualified to review this club as I’ve been a longstanding member since the day it opened. Over the last 25 years I’ve witnessed the slow and steady decline of this facility. From an aging, worn out fleet of equipment… much of it in its original outdated form, to “trainers” that are only interested in sales, and “management” that lacks basic competency, knowledge and integrity. It speaks volumes to the small labour pool available when someone such as their current GM is in the position she is in. If you are looking for a club that is affordable ($15/month), has brand new equipment, accessible parking that you don’t have to fight mall traffic to visit, and management that projects professionalism, then please go across the road. GoodLife will use high pressure sales tactics to upsell personal training. Have some respect for your money and do not waste it here. They get one star as zero stars is not an option.

Fantastic experience: Attended this location on a couple of different dates. Facility was clean, staff were friendly, and always available if I had a question. Has me seriously considering changing locations, to Belleville, from my other regular location.

Fantastic experience: Great gym, by far the cleanest gym I have been to and rarely busy. Fantastic service from the front desk as well as the workers. Very knowledgeable trainers and would recommend to anyone of age to go.

Negative experience: I hate writing reviews like this but I'm so frustrated with Goodlife. I bought a six-month personal training package with a trainer who is a level 4 and therefore cost much more than any other trainer. She was amazing and helped me so much that I had my mom also sign up with her. Unfortunately, she had to go on a leave for medical reasons and Goodlife was absolutely TERRIBLE at dealing with this situation. My mom and I both tried to get a refund for our sessions as we only wanted to work with this one trainer - and they didn't even have another trainer as qualified as her - and they would not bend whatsoever to help us figure out how to move forward. They only care about getting their money despite not being able to fulfill their end of that contract they constantly refer to. Going from a level 4 trainer who was able to help me with my back issues to someone else who does not have that same level of expertise was not an option for me. I understand that they have their contract to fall back on but all businesses can make an exception and work with their customers to ensure they are happy and satisfied if that is their priority which clearly it is not for Goodlife. Go to any other gym if you are looking for personal training.

Negative experience: Cancelled my membership in Decemeber 2023 and received cancellation email. They are still billing me bi-weekly, with "No information on their end that the service was cancelled." Looking forward to immediate resolution.

Positive experience: I remember when this club first opened and was state of the art. I hadn't been to it in quite a few years until recently when I needed to get a workout in while visiting family. I have to say this gym is not for the claustrophobic. The treadmills are virtually touching each other. Upstairs is also crowded. It's a good gym for people in the area but falls short of the standard that Goodlife has set with other clubs.

Fantastic experience: Belleville Goodlife is by far the best gym in the city. It’s up to par with some of the bigger locations in the GTA. Friendly staff, always clean, and machines needing maintenance are never out of order for more than 24 hours. Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: Hello for everyone who is reading this , i am marko and i wanna leave my honest feedback on this club and on good life overall, so i was a member there , I travel a-lot and i saw every famous gym in the world but to be honest I never saw a better environment and a more friendly gym , everyone here wants the best for you and wants you to improve and its so satisfying because all the members as well are so kind , i had some personal training sessions as well , BTW i am a pro bodybuilder and I thought i know what im doing 100% but i still took some sessions to improve more and it was the best decision of my life I learned a lot more they so good i was really surprised and the staff is the kindest and make you feel home and u will actually feel home , the club is always clean and satisfied to workout in , and the equipment they have is the advanced ones not like old school, amazing experience will recommend it for everyone without even thinking it’s worth every penny, and if you are reading this then you are probably looking to start working out , no matter what your goal is go there and workout and never feel shy to ask for help from a trainer or even a member and you can do everything u put your mind into ❤️ go and achieve your goal king/queen

Fantastic experience: I recently attended an RPM class led by Tracy, and it was a such a great experience! Tracy's energy and enthusiasm were contagious, creating an incredibly motivating atmosphere throughout the class. Her guidance and well-choreographed routine kept me engaged and challenged, making the workout both enjoyable and very effective. Tracy's class not only provided an intense cardio workout but also left me feeling inspired and eager to come back for more. I have always enjoyed the RPM classes at GoodLife. I can't wait to attend again and continue under Tracy's guidance. The gym is exceptionally clean, and the staff is always amazing and welcoming. Five stars all the way!

Fantastic experience: Honestly the most supportive and positive gym environment I have experienced! The staff are always warm, friendly and inviting. Goodlife Belleville has helped me through a lot both physically and mentally and it is a privilege to be apart of such an amazing organization! Negative experience: Very disappointing customer service experience… I already have membership in another gym but My friend who is already a member in Good life invited me to visit and have a look as he stated they have better equipment and space. On arrival I talked to Lisa who was at the front desk. As I enter Lisa had her computer screen open with their policy and stuff. My friend was there talking to her about me coming over for Free tour and workout. As he invited me he already talk to me about signing up on website and all, which I already did before going there. I went in and said hi and told her that I’m here for tour and free workout and I have already signed up through website. She didn’t even greet or reply to my hi and said come here both of you look at this pointing at computer screen saying you have to get appointment. I was confused. I don’t know anything about what’s going on. She said she cannot do it , they don’t have staff for it who can give me a tour. She told me to wait for good life to contact me and have an appointment for tour as they don’t do that at night. And she is not going to give me tour as she have to always be at front. It was 9:30 pm. I tried talking to her just to gain more information, but the way she was replying made me feel like she don’t even want to have conversation with me. I asked that I cannot come during day is there any way I can get the tour at night as my work gets done at 9. She said no we never have staff for tours at night so it has to be day time. I said it’s really hard for me to do it during day and I understand that she can’t give me tour. I suggested that my friend can show me around he had been a member almost a year I think. She said this not how it works and I have to get an appointment for tour to use Free one workout thing whatever it is . She also told me she can’t let me enter at that time because of safety reasons which didn’t make sense as I am no different then all other people already working out there. I’m providing my personal information before entering so her making that comment about safety didn’t make any sense. Made me feel other people will not be safe because of my presence there or I’m trying to break in. while I’m just standing there having a conversation. Throughout the whole conversation she wasn’t respectful toward us and I can tell she was annoyed for some reason. I totally understand the fact that there are rules for every business ,I said it’s fine and I left. I talked to other people about it, I get to know that it’s never like this. One of my work friend told me that they did take their friend their and it wasn’t even a problem and he showed them around. My friend who invited me was embarrassed about the situation and inviting me .As this was the first time something like this happened to him also as he didn’t expect her to treat us like that. I think Lisa need to be more polite and respectful toward all the customer and not racially profiling.

Negative experience: "My experience at the Belleville club has been nothing short of disappointing. As an existing member, I recommended the club to a friend who visited for a workout. Typically, gyms offer free day passes, a common practice worldwide. However, my friend's attempt to access the club by providing his phone number for registration was met with refusal by the front desk staff. The staff member explained the club's policy, which dictated that in order to use the free pass, individuals had to sit with a fitness trainer for a 30-minute tour. Understandably, the staff member couldn't provide the tour at that moment since she was the sole worker present. She further stated that anyone interested in the tour had to book an appointment or return when additional staff was available. This policy is confusing given the club's reputation for being a 24-hour facility. If the club cannot accommodate tours after 8 pm, this should be clearly communicated when issuing free passes to avoid embarrassment. I've visited various other gyms, including Planet Fitness, Fit for Less, LA Fitness, Gold's Gym, and many more, and I have never encountered such a reaction. Despite being a club member for six months, I've noticed several instances when the club was closed due to various issues. On these occasions, other gyms like Planet Fitness offered free passes upon registration. With over five years of experience in customer service, I understand the importance of adhering to policies. However, it's equally vital to provide a tour and allow access for a workout in a reasonable and accommodating manner. Unfortunately, I left the club today unsatisfied with the service and plan to escalate the matter to the head office, emphasizing the need for additional staff to serve members who prefer late-night visits more efficiently."
