Negative experience: CE GYM DEVRAIT ÊTRE 25ANS+ Le gym est propre, le staff est acceuillant mais il y un ÉNORME problème avec les jeunes. C'est DÉSAGRÉABLE de s'entraîner dans ce gym après l'heure du dîner et ce jusqu'à la fermeture. BEAUCOUP trop d'adolescents et de jeunes "adultes" qui monopolise la place à 100%. Ils sont PLUSIEURS à s'entraîner ENSEMBLES, sur des machines, aux câbles, ils prennent 3 bancs pour se jaser ou bien faire du cellulaire. Sans compter ceux qui passe leur temps à se regarder dans le mirroir "flexer" ou bien ils se replacent leur ptits toupette.

Notre salle est ouverte à une clientèle variée, et nous croyons que tous les membres ont droit à un accès équitable aux installations. Cela dit, il est essentiel que chacun respecte les autres usagers et n’occupe pas inutilement les espaces ou les équipements. Negative experience: It's alright, often busy, staff is chill, had instance where the gym was shown open online, showed up to some people working out and was told no, the gym is closed, noticed it was some people who weren't staff working out which was really shitty to see some members getting preferential treatment when I pay the same thing. Hopefully the rumours of a new gym opening where the IGA used to be are true. Will switch in a heart beat if it's the case.

Negative experience: The absolute worst management. After completing a full year at this gym, I was assured I could cancel any renewed contract with proof of my upcoming move. Once I moved, they flat out refused to honour their word. For the past six months, they’ve harassed me for payments on a membership I can’t even use and are now threatening collections. Predatory and unethical. Stay far away.

Negative experience: I have been going to this gym for years minus a few where I didn't live in the area. I am giving it a poor review because I have noticed it degrading significantly. They haven't added any new equipment to the gym since last I had signed up (3 years ago), it gets extremely busy, the plates are falling apart, the gym is dirty (women's bathrooms always look and smell dirty), often out of soap and/or paper, there has been some broken equipment consistently since I have been back. After having trained in a varsity gym for a few years, it has been extremely disappointing to be back in a commercial gym that seems to not care about cleanliness and quality. The plates are never stored correctly, everything is all over the place, there is a set of boxes that are so old and damaged it is dangerous to do box jumps on them, the turf for sled pushes is so flattened there is barely any resistance etc. It's unfortunate because the Nautilus Plus' I went to in Quebec City and Montreal are so much better than this Aylmer location, it's quite disappointing to say the least. Hopefully things can get better but any time I've mentioned the cleanliness, I'm met with inaction so I'm not too hopeful.

Negative experience: Dear management, maybe next time don’t put you’re open lol just arrived at your alymer location to find three dudes working out telling me through the window that the gym is closed… huge turn off as it’s says the gym is open on your website. I was looking to get a good pump in before the Canada festives … management definitely need to step up there game in this gym. Alymer has a lot of potential for a bigger gym without the flakey hours … fyi

Positive experience: Overall, it’s a great gym with a super friendly staff that makes you feel welcome. However, their weekend and summer hours are a bit odd and inconvenient. Also, their leg extension machines sucks, one of them feels like you’re sitting on wood, which is really uncomfortable (even got a bruise from it), and the other one often won’t go past 220 lbs. To get it to work properly, you usually have to reset the air pressure multiple times, which can take 5–10 minutes.

Negative experience: Men’s shower is dirty and had mold. I’ve reported this to the front desk on many occasions, nothing has been done to fix the issue. I will not be renewing my membership.

Negative experience: Ça fait 6 mois que je m’entraine à ce gym et je reconnais les boules de poussière prises sous les pieds des machines. Les poignés sont toutes rouillées et 3/4 de poids sont en train de tomber en morceaux. 2 étoiles… les employés sont gentils….

Positive experience: Great gym, has everything one may need to workout.and the staff is nice. I've been with them for a few years but almost didn't renew this year due to the summer opening hours. On weekends, they close at 5pm instead of the regular 6pm. Yes, they save 2 hours of one staff salary and hydro per week but this gym is quite a bit more expensive than others so for people who work, that one hour was the difference between working out or not on weekends.

Positive experience: I've been a member for nearly two years, and overall, I'm quite content with my experience. The gym offers a fantastic array of equipment, products, and services, and I particularly value the attentive staff. The Boomerang plan is a standout feature for me, along with the app's functionality for tracking points and gym traffic. It does get a little crowded for my liking... for this reason and few others, I deducted a star.

Negative experience: Steve, le gérant de la succursale d'Aylmer, est très gentil et a beaucoup essayé de m'aider dans ma situation, un grand merci à lui! Le siège social sont extrêmement difficiles a dealer avec, sont excessivement têtus et obstinés et n'ont pas de façons pour parler avec les gens. Sylvie, du service à la clientèle, n'a aucune politesse, elle est très bête, et m'a litéralement dit lors de mon dernier appel qu'elle avait d'autre chose a faire et qu'elle avait du travail à faire donc qu'elle devrait mettre fin à l'appel. Je n'étais aucunememt impressionnée par son attitude, je me sentais comme si je n'étais pas importante et que je ne valais pas la peine d'être écoutée. Si elle, Sylvie (du SERVICE À LA CLIENTÈLE), parle comme ça avec les clients, imaginez le reste du staff du siège social. Nul besoin de dire que je ne recommande plus les gyms Nautilus Plus et me donne 0 envie de continuer à encourager québécois. Tous les points positifs que je voyais à ce gym ont été effacés par le manque de façons de Sylvie et le manque de compréhension du siège social. Pire expérience.

Negative experience: I could give 0 star if possible. I went for a quick tour today and the receptionist asked me to remove my sneakers and walk around in my white socks on their dirty floor I asked why and he mentioned for hygienic reasons . But everyone else was entering and working out with their sneakers on (btw no snow or rain outside and i hand clean my sneakers occasionally). I passed on his request and asked if they have disposable shoes covers. I was suprised they had bunch of them but he chose to ask me to walk in socks. What a hospitality I never felt racism existed until today. It was 12/30/2023 around noon. I am still crying because again its the 1st time i am profiled At the end we all bleed the same and will die and rot.

Negative experience: Extremely bad experiences at this place. Wanna purchased the membership and came to the counter 10mins before the counter was supposed to be closed. The staff Alicia was not there until 8mins later. And when she came back, she just simply told me she could not do anything and had to kick me out of the gym. I tried to explain to her that I lived far and could possibly purchased the membership today due to reimbursement deadline. But her friends started yelling at me with swear words and she screamed at me in parallel. Very rude, unprofessional, and unfriendly experiences

Positive experience: I like the gym but I'm confused as to why people are allowed to film tiktok and instagram videos with a tripod in there. It violates the code but the staff allow it. One of the reasons I feel uncomfortable there sometimes.

Positive experience: Amazing customer service, its a pretty standard gym, if you’re looking to put on some muscle I’d definitely recommend this place. There were some plates laying around, dumbbells that weren’t racked but in all a pretty good place I had a blast here definitely coming back I’m very satisfied

Negative experience: I’m very confused why still they have outdated equipment. The gyms I was with always had machines with pins because it requires less running around and doesn’t run out unless you max it out. You end up running around like a lost chicken trying to find a plate and it’s ridiculous. When they finally change the machines then this gym will be really good.

Positive experience: I like this gym a lot because i go everyday - making my suibcriuption almost free thanks to the boomerang membership ($1.50 back for each visit). There's enough equipment that i can always complete my workout no matter how busy it is, the card being on your phone is a huge plus. The only issue i experience is that sometimes you'll get a different answer based on which staff you ask your questions too. But i get it, some are teenagers and others actually have a stake in the business. Jimmy is great, always welcomes me by name.

Negative experience: Worst gym in town, there’s never enough plates of any weight it’s always too crowded you can’t even have a good workout, all the machines are plate loaded no pins and there’s no plates to use them

Negative experience: I would definitely not recommend this gym. Management in this place is a real joke. Total lack of professionalism. For the amount of money they are charging their members, they will re-invest the strict minimum in the gym. Equipment is old and outdated. Most of their machines (leg curls, leg extensions, seated chest press, etc.) requires plates compared to other machines in other gyms where you adjust the weights with a pin. You will find yourself running around the gym to find plates you need which they have a very limited amount of. Don't bother, find yourself another gym.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to this gym several times a week for two years now. I love it. The staff are friendly, the price is in line with all other gyms, they have a big selection of equipment, and a nice atmosphere. The temperature is always perfect, in the middle of the heatwave or in bitter cold outside it's still the same. The biggest thing is that the staff are friendly though. Once I missed a week of going to the gym and they called me to check up and make sure I was alright. I really appreciated this :) It's a great place to work out.

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym, service is reliable, passes to enter the gym are on your phone instead of a tiny little tag that gets lost easily. Equipment is pretty modern and moderately new. Staff is amazing and very nice. Gym is also very clean.

Positive experience: It’s convenient to where I live. However the gym is really run down compared to other gyms. The dumbbells are falling apart, some of the seats have rips in them, and one of the pulley machines had one of the rails falling off last time I used it. Also, there are only 4 spots to do free weights. If you go during a busy time, it’s very hard get a spot.

Positive experience: It is convenient to where I live. There is definitely some room for improvement. They have a good selection of weights. Everytime I go I never really have an issue with finding places to exercise or waiting for something I want to use. The cleanliness for me is what is stopping me from giving this location a 5 star rating

Fantastic experience: I have been with this gym for several years now. Staff are very friendly and professional. Members are also creating nice ambiance. Equipment are taken care of well. Quality of personal trainers and instructors are also good. I have been in other gyms, but this is still one of my favorites.

Fantastic experience: I love going to this gym. It has a good variety of equipment in a clean, spacious, and respectful environment. The basic membership is reasonably priced and you can use the Boomerang reward program to reduce your membership fee and/or purchase products. Staff are welcoming, friendly and very knowledgeable. A great environment to work out in regardless of your age.

Positive experience: Cute and friendly. Not that much équipement but it doable.
Positive experience: They have a good amount of machines and a sauna in the changing rooms. It's a medium-sized gym. The staff are polite and nice. It's really clean. They also give good activities. My biggest issues stems with the membership options and flexibility, and the price. Their not in my budget, and while the program offers money in return, I wish they offered a flat rate with nothing special. Their also not flexible with what you've paid: I can not transfer sessions I have fully paid to someone else, something some gyms in Montreal allowed. The gym did not work for me for what they offered in the pricing range and flexibility, being stuck on a 1 year contract is not great, but it might work for others.
Fantastic experience: Went there twice so far as a guest with my friend. Very nice spot, clean and friendly staff. Well-lit and plenty of parking. Not too busy and you can find almost all machines and equipment you need for a good workout.

Fantastic experience: J'y suis membre depuis environ deux mois et je n'ai que des commentaires positifs à formuler sur le plan de l'organisation des lieux, la propreté, l'accueil. J'ai laissé le gym que je fréquentais depuis une quinzaine d'années et je n'ai qu'un regret c'est de ne pas avoir «bougé» plus tôt.
Fantastic experience: Super sympathique comme endroit. Toujours quelqu'un pour t'acceuillir avec un sourire. L'endroit est bien divisée et l'ambiance est superbe. Il y a plusieurs cours de groupe intéressant avec des plages horaire très variées. Aller s'entraîner est encore plus motivant quand on sens qu'il y a des gens compétents et ouvert a nois donner leur expertise pour nous permettre d'atteindre nos objectifs️♂️️♀️. Females feel free to wear any bra you like though! Way better options at this price point, don't lock yourself into a year contract at this gym.
Negative experience: Discrimination at its best.... I had a horrible expierence there. I finally feel comfortable in my own skin, and Ive been told by three workers that my tank top straps were 'too thin' and that I would need to wear a shirt that covered myself skin up more... Meanwhile the girls on the treadmills are wearing two pieces and sportsbras with leggings and booty shorts :( I hate it, like I finally feel proud of my own body and self, and I got rude workers at this gym commenting that what im wearing is inappropriate? Why does it offend anyone if my tanktop is just under an inch thick on the straps, I guess you have two less clients... Plus I represent Team Canada for Gymnastics, I will defiently will not be putting a good word in for your Gym, Goodbye Nautilus... *Aylmer and Hull Locations*
Fantastic experience: Great gym, not to big, has all the equipment you need and it's always kept in good shape. They have personal training and nutrition consultations. I've personally had two trainers there and they've both been great. It's a little bit more expensive than some other gyms but if you take the boomerang membership you get money back for going so (supposing you actually go) it can come out about the same or less than other gyms.

Fantastic experience: This location is really recent and it shows. The place is well maintained and I've never seen a single machine that was broken or otherwise unavailable. The staff is very friendly and the locker room is clean and spacious (although strangely cold).
