Fantastic experience: I have been a member since it opened at this location. Great gym with excellent equipment and great atmosphere. Anyone interested in joining a gym that has something for everyone should go check it out. Nicole does an amazing job of making everyone feel welcome. She will expertly provide you with what you need to know to get started.

Fantastic experience: My experience at A Foot Above Fitness has been nothing but amazing. Super friendly and welcoming staff, Zach and Nicole took the time to show me what machines do what and how to safely use them. Shout out to Nicole for running multiple times on the treadmill that goes at your speed to help me figure out how to use it. Nicole pushed me to reach new goals such as pushing the big tire over like she can ! Thank you so much team for making a safe gym that leaves me feeling like it’s a second home ❤️❤️

Fantastic experience: A foot above fitness is a great gym, strong cleanliness and lots of equipment. They also have classes if you are interested in combat sports such as bjj wrestling and lots of other stuff. The entire gym is spacious and everyone is very welcoming and kind.

Fantastic experience: Unreal gym! Open 24/7, super clean, turf, plenty of open space, turf zone, pretty much all the equipment you could want for most types of training, large changing rooms with showers and saunas! Unlike most gyms in Orleans it's not crazy buzy, so no queue for equipment. The gym also has a physio and a boxing section (for additional cost). Yes it's a little pricier than your typical gym but it's worth every penny! I've known Zach the owner since before the AFootAbove location was on Trim Road and he's always been accommodating and great to deal with! 5 stars!

Fantastic experience: As someone who struggles with anxiety as well as health issues that make exercise and going out difficult it was a big step for me to join a gym. I recently joined A Foot Above Fitness and it has been a wonderful experience. All the staff are kind. the trainers are not pushy just helpful and the owner Zach is such a wonderful person. Ive only felt positive in that gym never judged and it is the cleanest gym Ive ever been to. The staff are always tidying up and cleaning and you can tell as the place always smells clean even when packed with people exercising. They have wonderful extras as well like a martial arts fight academy and boxing both run by professionals. all their rates are incredibly reasonable. Their location is stellar and I highly recommend checking them out.

Negative experience: Emailed to cancel membership a month prior to the next payment and they took it out anyway. I explained I was a father of five and on assistance and couldn't afford it and in return the owner complained about having to pay a fee of 45 dollars due to me canceling my membership. Very disappointed. Managment clearly dosnt care about there members. I'd go to good life or fit 4 less and get a cheaper membership as well as better customer service

Fantastic experience: Great non-commercial gym that cares about good customer service and treating everyone right. They are trans-friendly and have trainers who will help make your goals become a reality. The price is right and their equipment is top-notch. They use every square foot of the floor plan mindfully and do not crowd the machines. They also have some machines which are dual-use like the hack squat/leg press. I also had a special request that was granted and the owner of the gym reached out to make sure I was comfortable and happy. Never in all my years of working out has anyone done that for me.

Fantastic experience: I used the equipment in the gym for the first time yesterday after switching from Goodlife, and the quality is amazing. They have a ton of awesome machines, including many new ones I've never seen before. The owner is a great guy who really looks out for his customers. He truly is the people's champ.

She gave me a tour and I was amazed how awesome it looked. Too bad I live out of town. A full size boxing ring? I've never seen that in a gym before. Well done A Foot Above Fitness! Fantastic experience: The first day I stepped foot in the gym, I realized YES this is for me! The owner is very welcoming and full of knowledge and experience. All my questions were answered in a professional manner. I now train 3 times a week and do not regret my choice. I walked in thinking i was not going to like it, thought i was going to quit BUT thats not the case. Everyone is friendly and my trainer is awesome! Thank you Zach for everything! I could not have done it without your support and push! You really do have a passion for fitness, health and helping people reach their goals. Well, I only went for a day until I realized that the owner was very mean to everyone. They're not welcoming to new comers. They charge way too much for what is available. Very toxic environment.

Not only is the owner-Zach qualified, certified and experienced , he has reached and surpassed his own goals and efforts on and off the competitive stage. I had the pleasure on more than one occasion to experience the energy and positive vibes as well as the cleanliness of the main training areas, change rooms and bathrooms. Zach has even volunteered His Private training facility to local community competitive powerlifting events, supplying an area for official weigh ins for sanctioned meets. Ive read some conflict of interest 1 star reviews here tonight from those who have never met Zach or have been in his facility leaving false reviews based on their difference of opinion or views outside of anything to do with His business operation or clients results. Ive reported all of these reviews as conflict of interest! Ill add he has never been found guilty of any accusations, ill intent or wrong doing to date. He is only interested in maintaining his lawful rights and the rights of His clients! Those who are feeling like they are not enough in this world and who are unhappy with their own lives and who want to be heard in attempts of bastardizing someones personal and professional reputaion so they can feel better about themselves should be ignored and reckognised as such. So in my days of visiting Local Gyms in Ottawa and surrounding areas like , Orleans, Kanata, Nepean, Vanier, downtown Ottawa, Barhaven and every other region in Ottawa Carleton District that is a Private Training Facility , offering Private in person Personal training , or 1 on 1 private personal training or fitness coaching for those wanting results with weight loss coaching, building muscle, conditioning , sports performance, metabolism reboot and of, course transformation challenges, A Foot Above Fitness is the Premiere Private Personal Training Facility in Orleans and Has the best Private Personal 1 on 1 Personal Trainers in Ottawa. You can call me biased if you want but keep in mind I actually have been in this business, had a conversation with the owner on several ocassions, spoke to amazing Personal Trainers & Coaches who have worked Here and on a personal and professional basis will say that every 1 start review Ive read here tonight is an attempt of maliciousness contempt. Fantastic experience: A very clean and well equipped gym. The owner and staff are very friendly. It has everything you need to train seriously yet is not too intimidating for the newbie or average fitness enthusiast. The trainers all seem to have very pleasant and respectful attitudes. If you live in Orleans this is the place to train. This is the type of place where humans thrive!!
