Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough great things about this gym! Not only is the facility top notch, clean, well equipped, and welcoming, but it’s the people who truly make it a standout. Every time I walk through the doors, Blake’s bright smile and contagious positive energy instantly lift my mood. His upbeat attitude is so genuine, and it’s something I genuinely look forward to each time I come in. No matter how my day is going, Blake has a way of turning it around with just a few words. Milena is another absolute gem. She’s incredibly sweet, attentive, and always ensures the gym runs smoothly. Whether it’s keeping things spotless or making sure everything is in its place, she puts care into every detail and it shows. Her calm presence and attention to organization create such a comfortable and professional atmosphere. Thanks to Blake and Milena, this gym isn’t just a place to work out, it’s a place I feel great walking into every single time. They both go above and beyond, and I’m so grateful to be part of this amazing community.

Fantastic experience: very safe environment to work out in every day, people and staff are nice, i’m very forgetful so I end up leaving stuff like my water bottle or earphones and one of the managers named Milena always secures them for me. Love coming here everyday.

Fantastic experience: Love the staff here. They are always happy and helpful. Went into sign up my son for the teen fitness program. We we’re greeted by Blake who surprisingly to us remembered both of us by our first names even though it’s been over a year since we have been in. Blake has always been a huge pleasure to deal with. Friendly and Always HAPPY. The team here are all so great. Makes it so much more inviting to come and work out. Keep up the Great Work.

Fantastic experience: It’s a relatively small spot, so it can get busy and equipment options are limited compared to bigger clubs, but overall, if you want a clean, convenient gym with reliable staff and round‑the‑clock hours, this one’s a thumbs up which is perfect for me as a working single mom :)

He clearly and thoroughly explained the relevant rules and services available, and did so with such professionalism and friendliness. His communication was clear, detailed, and extremely helpful. He truly went above and beyond, and I really appreciated his support. We need more Blake's working in the customer service industry.

The staff here are all incredibly amazing and welcoming, making everyone feel right at home from day one. The gym has a friendly, neighborhood vibe that makes working out enjoyable and motivating. Negative experience: Worst GoodLife I’ve been too by far.

Fantastic experience: This is the gym you want to go to ! Going in solo and knowing no one ahead of time , Blake and Hannah made the transition as welcoming and positive as possible. Both very approachable and knowledgeable . On top of that , this location is super clean and inviting .

Fantastic experience: Excellent manager and staff. They are always positive, willing to help and are very encouraging. I wasn’t that comfortable starting at a gym, but they were so welcoming that now I am happy to train there whenever I can. Super clean, bright and a “feel good” atmosphere!

Fantastic experience: The Alliston Neighborhood Goodlife Fitness Club is by far the gym of choice for those living in the New Tecumseth area. The staff are all extremely helpful, friendly, professional an clearly take pride in their work. This club has a small community feel to it with the size and quality of a top of the line fitness center. Spacious and clean with more than enough well maintained equipment to meet the needs of any member, whether you're new or experienced. This club has it all. Whatever they're paying Milena, they need to double it. She's very knowledgeable, friendly, and makes everyone feel welcome. You can tell that she genuinely cares about the members. When you have irreplaceable employees on your roster like Milena, Blake, and Robbie, you do whatever it takes to hang onto them!

Fantastic experience: The staff at this location are very welcoming, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I like this location. It’s open 24/7, lots of free parking, not as busy as Toronto locations, there is a McDonalds walking distance away, a grocery store across the street. This location is one of the cleanest I’ve seen.

Negative experience: Convenient but too small for the volume of people that go there. Most people also focus on working their jaw out by sharing their life stories instead of doing exercises. Good gym if you have 4 hours to wait around for equipment

Positive experience: After a full year of going to this gym I felt I needed to give a full and honest review.... First off, the staff is amazing! Don't think I've ever seen someone work as hard as Blake does in any gym I've been to over the years! Now the gym has been open for a while. Maybe back then it was big enough but Alliston is growing at a quick pace and the gym isnt. It's just way too small for the amount of members and all the new members that are signing up once the the home developments keep opening up. One of each machine just doest cut it for the amount of people. Antoher thing I have to recommend is raising the age of kids that can sign up. They're just not interested in working out and muck up the machines taking social media selfies, texting, and talking in the phone. I personally experienced a girl using the Smith machine that did one set in 35 mins. I had no choice but to step up and say something. I waited as patiently as I could by doing other exercises but man, thats unacceptable. I'm sure it happens everywhere, but when the gym is on the smaller side and equipment is limited as it is, it makes working out out tough. That's besides the fact that teenage boys bounce pilate balls around like basketballs...Zero gym etiquette. Unfortunately I ended my membership after a year. Decided to expand my home gym and have what I need to reach my goals. Might have spent a pretty penny doing it BUT it works out better for me in the long run. Maybe down the road if they expand and put in more equipment etc, I'll go check it out again. Until then, my home gym is where I'll be. It's unfortunate because I did meet a few amazing people there....

Negative experience: star review is based on my experience when the gym is empty, a decent place to workout when it isnt peak hours equipment is mediocre. male staff is lazy and unprofessional (with the exception of blake) and the management was shoddy heard they're being replaced so glad to hear that. hope this place gets cleaned up and upgraded because the membership for this club is a joke for what you pay for. would much rather travel to a further gym than come to a gym thats setup like a walk-in closet where majority of the equipment is outdated and stays unused.

Fantastic experience: So although All the staff is amazing I especially appreciate Tim's kind loving nature. I am a busy self employed mom of 2 and I really struggle to put myself first. I have gained the weight many of us did being home during covid so I was hesitant to get back at it. But Tim went above and beyond to encourage me. He signed me up for the best deal he could get me .. but that's not all. I did the typical 3 week no show and he noticed!!! I got a sweet message on my phone with him offering to reintroduce me to the gym and work with me... and the new systems they have. That went along ways to making me feel comfortable to come and actually excited to!! Thank you Tim for being so professional and helpful and accommodating. Goodlife Alliston has the friendliest staff who care about your success on your health journey.

Fantastic experience: This is by far the cleanest Goodlife I have worked out in. The staff does an excellent job keeping the facilities sterile. The staff is excellent. Shout out to Blake, this young man is a Rockstar when it comes to member requests, cleaning, and overall professionalism. It is a smaller club, but what it lacks in size, it makes up for in positive energy and cleanliness.

Fantastic experience: Great club, great staff and good crowd. Mornings are the best, gets busy in the evening but understandable. Has all the equipment you need, but would love for it to expand if the space ever becomes available. Add some of the other amenities like sauna or steam rooms. Otherwise the space is used very well

Fantastic experience: For the last week and a half a partner and I had the pleasure of using this GoodLife facility. we’ve travelled from Kenora Ontario ( 21 hrs, 2000 km away ) stopping at all the GoodLife along the way. After spending the week at this GoodLife we both have to say it’s by far the cleanest facility that we’ve been to in a very long time! The staff do a phenomenal job of keeping this place clean, tidy and well organized at all times. They also has the friendliest stuff out of any GoodLife we have been to! Keep up the amazing work you guys do, thanks for the great week of using your facility!! Ps, Corporate office should take note of this GoodLife and model, every GoodLife after this one. Bravo keep up the amazing work you guys do to keep this place clean and tidy! We definitely will be back in the future. Thanks so much.

Positive experience: Just like any other gym except some workers are really nice but I have a really big problem with how if your under 18 you have to pay the same price as someone over 18 but only get limited hours compared to above 18 There should be a student discount or 24 hour watch for the students

Negative experience: Not worthy of the Goodlife brand. This place is so small, it makes Fit4Less look like a boutique gym. The gym area was somewhat clean, but the bathroom, showers and change rooms were not. There was an ant hill right in the change room, WITH ANTS!!! The change rooms (all 2of them) are individual change rooms. One had no lights, the other had a lock so finicky that you are taughtan elaborate hip hop hand shake just to get it open. Oh... and should i mention that this club offers showers, but NOT towel service?? How does that work when you are from out-of-town? Gave 2 stars only because i'm loyal to the brand.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member for a few years now and I love this Goodlife location. I have been a member at a few gyms in my life and by far this one is the best !! The layout is ideal, the members keep the gym organized at all times. The Staff is the Friendliest staff and the Manager Julia makes herself visible to talk to. The staff will always greet you by name and always with a smile. Actually a few days ago one of the staff , named Maria, encountered a non member that wanted to get a day pass at our gym, and due to Covid regional restrictions and rules, Maria could not let them have access to the gym. Maria handled the situation in a polite calm manner even though that person was raising their voice and backlashed at Maria. Good for Maria to protect our gym. Speaking of Covid, its extremely calming to see the staff are continuously going around and disinfecting all the machines and equipment when not in use. At the 5:00 booking they use the reservation list to check you name off. I have also witnessed them double check the address of a member to confirm thwy were local. Koodos to the staff. Keep Up The Great Work and Protecting Our Gym !!

Negative experience: Staff seem to be annoyed when asked any questions about anything. The new foor makes you wait 30 mins so if you forget something in your car you better forget about going back to it. Not enough variety of equipment.

Negative experience: I agree with a previous review about having to go to the Alliston gym at times when the personal trainers are not there. I’m not sure of their names, but the female trainer with the long brown hair and the male trainer with the blonde hair are extremely rude! Name calling and harassment are some examples of their unacceptable behaviour towards paying customers. I ask that management do something about their conduct. Going forward, management may also want to consider hiring trainers with stronger customer service skills. It doesn’t matter how new or how much of the equipment there is in the gym if the atmosphere is rotten!

Negative experience: My husband called to cancel his membership during COVID-19 mess so that when they open back up, payments do not start coming back out of his account automatically again. Was told he could not cancel right now (of course) and that he had to wait until they open their facilities and either call in or speak to someone at the facility directly - as if catching someone who works for goodlife at the facility isn't difficult. Way to go goodlife! Try to squeeze a few more payments out of people during such a difficult time! You should be supporting your community right now. If you're paying someone to answer phones, they should be able to access accounts when a client wants to cancel.

Positive experience: It's a smaller club so there is definitely a lack of equipment compared to bigger clubs. For example they only have 3 kettle bells. 25Lbs,15Lbs, and 10lbs that's pretty bad. They don't have a resistance mat or even a sled. But if you haven't been to the bigger better club's then overall it's okay. It has everything you need to reach your goals.

Doing calf raises on smith machine gets tough as the lock rolls back. Overall good gym!! lack of equipment stops me from giving it a 5. Also, can't say anything about customer service 'coz I never had to deal with any. I go at 4 in the morning. so, it has been a year since I posted my review. A lot of things have changed. Lots of new equipment. Wide variety of kettlebells, lifting pads and two new machines - glute and hack squat machine.

Negative experience: Don’t go to this gym expecting to deadlift. I had one plate on either side warming up. I would lift, come down controlled and let the weight sit then lift again. I was told the floor in this gym is not made to support this lift and that I can not deadlift. Seriously!? 2019 and I can’t deadlift at a GoodLife. What a joke.

Negative experience: Lost my card, can't enter this location as every time I go to get a new card, there's no one at the front to even let me in. Tried calling them as well as was told to come in. Been getting the run around yet they have no problem taking my money from me but never around to service their customer. Reaching out to head office to file formal compliant and getting my money back. This is beyond ridiculous. How many times does a customer have to go in to this location only to find either they are closed never answer their phones,, tell me to come in person but no one is ever in the front door to let me in, YET have no problem stealing my money from me. I have contacted at the email address below but nothing has been resolved!!!!

Negative experience: if i could give less then one star i would, this place is a complete fraud. over charged my account, and when they had a 30 days free offer i still got charged and they were not willing to refund me. and when i spoke with Diana, she was rude and it was like she didn't care for the costumer. do not go here !!!!!

Negative experience: Good for a quick workout gym is very clean but alot of useless equipment. Very limited especially for leg machines. I wish they were investing money into gym equipment instead of tanning beds, it's supposed to be a place you go to get healthy.

Positive experience: Friendly staff. Clean. Organized. Small gym. Lots of useless equipment and duplicates/triplets of equipment in small gym; with few key pieces of equipment missing. Hack squat, standing calf raise, iso high row, shrug machine, kettlebells to name a few. Not greatest customer service. A lot of members myself included when asking for new equipment or get rid of useless ones get told same response. ...NO! The manager said to speak with owner or head office lol.

Fantastic experience: This gym is always so clean and the members are well mannered and put equipemnt away after using them. For a neighbourhood gym that doesnt have 30 staffers working this is way cleaner then most goodlife with 247 staff.

There were no staff there, but a lady who works there till 2:00 opened the door and said, we only work till 2:00. i said its my first time and she said you have to come tomorrow. Didnt even let me in for that day to work out. aug 25 at 2:40 pm. they need to work on getting that fixed

Positive experience: Open 24 hrs (staffed and unstaffed). Gym is clean, well equipped, has lockers, showers and change rooms available, free wifi, friendly staff, virtual classrooms. Like most gyms it is crowded in the evenings and some patrons use more than one machine at a time, long waiting periods. Many don't know gym etiquette, get upset when you ask to jump in, don't put their stuff away which makes it an unpleasant experience.
