Fantastic experience: Best price and friendly people. Love this place.

Negative experience: Just want to share with everyone regarding their cancellation policy - If you would like to cancel membership, its a 30 days notice period, in which you will be charged for 2 payments. if you cancel right after a payment (which in our case, we did) - you will lose 1 week of gym because you pre-pay bi-weekly. When i brought this to the attention of the owner, he said "We dont charge you for the first 2 weeks so you are attending the gym for free". Mind you the registration fee is $70. At this time, i knew i was not going to get a logical answer so i didnt argue. Plus you can also read other reviews to understand his behaviour towards customers. My recommendation is if you would like to cancel, do it a day before payment day, that way you will get 30 days. Also, make sure you have your FOB on you all the time even during staffed hours. I didnt at some point, their front door was locked and when i rang the bell, no one opened the door and i could see the owner walked from the reception area to back. Didnt even bother to open the door.

Fantastic experience: Great place, my friends brought me as a guest and I decided to switch gyms the next day. Gym has tons of weights and equipment, I've never had to wait for more than 5min for something to be free. The new muay thai and kickboxing programs they have are amazing cardio and a ton of fun. Cost is affordable and with amazing value. People are pretty chill too, great atmosphere.

Negative experience: avoid this place at all costs

Positive experience: Why are people working out in sandals and wife beaters really strange atmosphere, equipment old, gym is dirty. There is a studio but there’s no classes for members like GoodLife offers, they have martial arts you can pay for if that’s your thing. Membership prices are cheap, 24/7 hours private areas for women and the people seem friendly.

Negative experience: The contract system for joining the GYM is very weird. If u wish to cancel the membership in future they will ask u to pay 2 more payment for closing your account. Avoid this GYM. Go to Anywhere else.

Negative experience: Do not give this greedy man your money. I have been going to this gym for 3 years but unfortunately it seems as though the new ownership is set on destroying the gym community. I had brought a friend in for their first time to teach them the basics as they were comfortable learning from someone they know. He explained that I was not allowed to return with my friend to teach them how to workout. If they wanted to learn they'd have to use an in house personal trainer. Not everyone can afford a personal trainer or even want one. I was accused of stealing from his business. It seems a though he only cares about is the money. At the end of the day the gym should be a community where you can enjoy time with friends and work on bettering ourselves.

Fantastic experience: New owner is a super awesome guy. It’s not like these other gyms where everyone can do whatever they want and leave a mess. This is a real gym. The martial arts are lots of fun, educational and an incredible workout! The staff are very nice and helpful, and keep everything extremely clean. Upgraded equipment seems to be showing up a lot and lots of different kinds. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Negative experience: The place stinks, never cleaned and absolutely horrible customer services. The equipment is as old Canada, guaranteed you will hurt your self.. Basically a clear ripoff. Highly NOT recommended :)

Negative experience: The most recent owner of this gym is childishly rude, and hostile, and has no idea how to treat customers properly. His condescending and antagonistic attitude led to the cancellation of the only 2 classes that were included with gym membership. He also was belligerent with me when I asked why my $35 electronic key didn't automatically sign me in, and loudly argued with me on the main gym floor while I was trying to walk away. He then, very loudly, revoked my membership, banned me from the gym, and told me to leave and never come back. I am 63 years old, on a low income. I had 7 months left on my prepaid membership, which was physiotherapy for me, and he refused to refund any of the money, claiming that my complaint was harrassment. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. His comment below this complaint is complete nonsense.

Fantastic experience: A great gym to work out! Very clean, bright, reasonable price (much better than those chains) and has all the equipment and weights that I need for my routine. I find any issues with equipment are fixed right away and the staff are wonderful as well as the owners....very helpful and friendly. They also have personal trainers available for an additional cost. I have been working with Greg and he has been awesome! I highly recommend him as well as this gym!

Fantastic experience: Best place for workout in Guelph. Many MMA options too like Kickboxing and Aikido

Positive experience: Nice gym, some equipments are out of shape, overall great place to workout in peace.Clean and have plenty of santizers to clean equipment. Negative points are only 1 legs extension equipment, 1 seated leg curl equipment. Need better pac fly machine.

Negative experience: Labor day I left a 3 star review because the gym had no towels and it was only noon. Got an email apologizing and they were working on fixing it and getting more towels. Over a month later, it's a regular Sunday at 2pm. Zero towels to wipe down machines with. Disgusting. Either get more towels or put someone in to clean them. Not a fan of working out in other people's sweat. Can't even use paper towel because the bathrooms out.

Positive experience: New ownership, place needs a good going thru and cleaning. Many machines are in need of repair , padding worn out and falling off. Still a cheaper place to work out at but needs a good deep cleaning .

Negative experience: No hassle 24hr gym with a great selection of machines (better than World Gym). I love the environmentally friendly aspects- bar towels to wipe machines that are thrown into laundry basket when done, motion detecting lights, etc. Room for improvement: **Questionable cleanliness.. Do the showers ever get cleaned? it says on the website they clean 5x per day but I've been staring at the same two hairs on the womens shower stall walls for the past two weeks.. so I don't even want to think when was the last time the shower curtain was washed... Same for the mirrors in the Tae Kwon Do room, covered in smudges.. **Mirrors don't go down to the floor so it's hard to check your form at times **Handful of machines need some serious TLC, so many tears and rips

Fantastic experience: I have been a long time member and I am very impressed with the changes that are being made!! Gym is alot cleaner than it has been in the past and the new owners are very personable, easy to talk too, and great people!!!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this gym for at least 7 years and it's always been a family friendly oriented business. Over the last few years the gym has went through a few ups and downs. Recently it's been taken under new ownership (John & Christy). I was alittle worried at first but over the last 2/3 months l have seen the most improvement that I've seen in 7 years. Great gym, tons of improvement and still a family friendly gym. I'm glad to be apart of Everything Fitness.

Fantastic experience: Perfect place to workout at a very affordable price. Clean and well maintained. All the cardio machines work great.They have every type of machine needed for strength training.. huge collection of weights..offers a few group classes too. There is a seperate area with free weights to do squats, deadlifts, boxing..you think of it and they have it..not brand new equipment but everything works prefectly fine..best part is it is 2 mins drive from my home and is open 24x7 for members .. Few suggestions: It would be helpful if there are few full length mirrors to check the form. Also if possible please update leg curl and leg extension machine to a newer one so that it is easy to adjust to one’s length..

Fantastic experience: Everything Fitness is a great place for cardio and strength training exercises. The staff is friendly and helpful and the new owners are working very hard to repair and rearrange equipment for optimal workouts. Members routinely wipe down equipment before and after use. I would recommend this gym to my friends.

Negative experience: I had been going to everything fitness for over a year and a half under the old ownership. The new owners have implemented terrible policy and rules that have destroyed the gym environment the facility used to have. My main concerns are how the employees react to the slamming of weights, the deadlift platform, the unmaintained equipment, as well as the new horrendous guest policy. I have seen multiple staff ask people to stop slamming weights, this is absurd as it is a workout space where this should be expected. I've also seen multiple people been asked to not deadlift if not using the platform. The entire gym only has one singular platform for such an essential exercise. The equipment itself is also poorly maintained and never cleaned. Lastly is the new guest policy, previously under old ownership any member could bring a friend in as long as they signed the waiver. Now under new management the gym now charges quests to come in, this is not a good change. Many sign up for the awesome benefit of bringing in a friend, and it keeps people motivated. Not only does this kill the environment it kills the motivation of many gym goers.

Fantastic experience: Was a previous member in 2019, recently went in to renew and get back into shape. The front desk staff were very polite, and new owners were able to help with my issues, and answer any questions I had. Thoroughly happy with my experience, and looking forward to loosing this Dad-bod.

Negative experience: I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this gym and can only give it 1 star. The new owner's behavior was beyond unacceptable. Not only was he rude and hostile, but he also screamed at people while they were working out. His expectations for deadlifting were completely unrealistic, making the atmosphere uncomfortable and stressful. It's as if he had no understanding of how people actually work out. He seemed to expect that we should all be able to lift without making any noise whatsoever, which is simply unrealistic given the nature of weightlifting. His lack of understanding and empathy for the gym-goers made the whole experience unpleasant. His rude demeanor was evident in every interaction. Instead of fostering a positive and motivating environment, he created an atmosphere of tension and anxiety. It's clear that he has no concept of proper customer service and respect for his clients. This gym's new owner has completely ruined the gym-going experience for me and many others. His rude and hostile behavior, unrealistic expectations, and lack of understanding of how people work out make this gym a place I would strongly advise avoiding.

Fantastic experience: Amazing local gym with ‘everything’ you need. Not your run of the mill big box gym with the newest equipment or high end amenities but it does have a heart of gold, an array of specialty / unique equipment, a powerlifting room and more! A great place for anyone serious about achieving their goals in an environment that is motivating, gritty and priced fairly. 10/10 would recommend!

Negative experience: Ive been a member since 2019 and previously would have given this gym 5 stars. Unfortunately due to a very negative experience I had with the owner, I am leaving this review. The new owner seems to treat members very poorly. He approached me about a new rule (no deadlifting unless on a platform) and he was VERY angry and rude. This was unexpected and confusing as someone who competes in powerlifting- I understand the importance of respecting the gym and the equipment. I would never disrespect the space. Im sad to have to leave a gym that was once such a great atmosphere. (I cancelled my membership following this incident because after seeing other reviews I do not believe that this will be a one time thing)

Negative experience: The gym Everything Fitness was great before the new owner took over, but now it's a complete mess. The new owner is incredibly rude to paying members and has created a toxic atmosphere that makes it difficult to enjoy a workout. The equipment is often broken or poorly maintained, and the gym is frequently overcrowded. Overall, a 1-star experience that I would not recommend to anyone looking for a decent gym.

Fantastic experience: Been a member for 3+ years and with the new management of the gym I've never been happier. They have really improved the gym since taking over and really show they care. They fix equipment when its broken and really take any feedback from their members about how to improve things around the gym. The price for what you get is the best you can find around town! The only people that are going to be leaving bad reviews on this place are the high schoolers that know nothing about how to run a business so take their reivews with a grain of salt!

Negative experience: The gym is great. Good value, true 24 hours. Great selection of equipment. What makes this such a negative review is that I have been trying to cancel my membership (after about 3 years) and every month, they still take money, not only that but I put I stop payment on them through my bank, because they kept billing me (I’m not even in the same province anymore, haven’t been since feb 2020) they bill me this month for 75$ due to additional fees from not paying my account each month…. The one I’ve been trying to cancel for the last 6 months.

Positive experience: Update: increasing my review thanks to the wonderful service I got! After this problem arose, I spoke over email with an employee who went into detail about what slow times are in the gym, an empty space I could use, etc. to help me feel more comfortable at the gym. Since then I've been able to return to the gym feeling much more comfortable coming when less people are around! It's not the same as having the women's room, but very happy with the help I recieved here. Thank you Kayla! I had been going to everything fitness for a long time, since highschool. The employees have always been great, great facility, good gym overall. But I'm really really disappointed in the closing of the women's gym. It was one the the key selling points for me as I don't like crowds. As much as I've loved it, I'll be switching to a different gym. Thanks for the many years, but the women's gym was it for me.

Negative experience: Great Gym! it’s annoying getting kicked out for cleaning times without much warning. However it’s strange this doesn’t apply to everyone? Where a handful of people are allowed to stay and workout during the cleaning times.

Negative experience: Good gym with a great variety of equipment. I am leaving a poor review because I was charged unexpectedly without notice. I had put my account on hold, in good standing, before the pademic began... A short while ago I noticed a full charge on my account, for more than the usual payment. No notice. Cancelled my membership the next day. Best part was they said it was for a missed payment and charged me for the usual hold amount as well. If you're a member or are looking to become one, watch your bank account.

Negative experience: Prior to covid I had no complaints about this gym, however since covid began I have become a little frustrated. My best friend and I signed up just before covid hit. After the first lockdown was over we went in to cancel our membership as at the time she was working in a retirement home and I was working somewhere that majority of our customers were the elderly, and we didn't feel comfortable using the facility. We were told that we could only buy out of our contract (which was essentially the same cost as just following through with the contract) or put it on hold (pay about $5 a month until we return, then continue the year from there). We were a little disappointed that these were the only options despite the fact that other gyms were offering for customers to cancel, such as goodlife and movati, where my mother and boyfriend were members. We both felt as though while we were going through the options with the gym owner we were being guilted. He mentioned how many people were trying to cancel and how much that would cost him, and more than once mentioned that the gym might not even make it and we might get out of paying our remaining year through that. Although I can feel for him, it felt very unprofessional. We chose to put our memberships on hold until we saw how covid played out. For the next two months my friend was charged the full price, and I was charged full for one extra month. When she called to inquire she was told it was pretty standard for it to still come out after being put on hold, but this wasn't mentioned to us beforehand, and she felt as though the person she was talking to was being a little condescending. After looking at a recent bank statement I noticed I was once again being charged full price for at least the last two months, despited never having taken my account off hold. I called the gym and got no answer, and was unable to leave a message as they don't seem to have any sort of voicemail set up. So as of this moment I am still paying full price for no known reason. Having read some of the other negative reviews on google, and the gyms response to some of them, I noticed a tendency to be defensive. The customer service a gym provides be it in person, online, or over the phone can make or break the experience for its customers. It can bring in more customers or drive them away. This is an area I feel this gym may at times overlook, and in our case it has left us disappointed with our chosen gym.

Positive experience: For $10/month I can't complain. Wish they had more daytime classes.

Negative experience: I really enjoy this gym but they've been extremely unprofessional during the pandemic. Their booking system is a joke and allows members to book multiple times a day resulting in no open slots the majority of the time. But they've got no problem continuing to charge every member the monthly fee citing their "contract". The contract also states it's a 24/7 gym for everyone to use. They like to pick and choose parts of their contract and will ignore any questions or inquiries about it. Before the pandemic however it was a great place to go.

Fantastic experience: Great gym. has access to rings, truck tires, punching bags and a decent calisthenics section. Enough benches and power racks to never be waiting much if at all for compound lifts, which has been a problem at lots of chain places I've used in the past. Would recommend.

Fantastic experience: This is the best gym I have ever been to by far. It has such a welcoming environment and the staff is amazing. They also have an amazing Taekwondo program. The facility is always kept clean and in great order.

Fantastic experience: This place is more than a Gym, ITS FAMILY. Covid and its restrictions have put these guys against the wall with all that they've had to endure. Do not feed into the negative comments and look at it as a whole picture. PROFESSIONAL, KIND, CARING, and LOVING are a few words to describe the owners. This is their life and it shows every single day with their hard work and dedication. They go above and beyond at all hours of the day or night to resolve any issues that may arise. They motivate and inspire members to be exactly who they are and give so much in helping them transform their lives. I have been a member for 2.5 years and it feels like a life time. This gym saved me and I'm sure I can speak for others as well. It is HOME for many of us and you will not be disappointed. CLEAN is an understatement as they constantly maintain and upkeep to adhere to health board protocol. Multiple rooms with a variety of equipment. Never waiting as there is plenty to share. Everything you need and want plus an atmosphere you wont find anywhere else. There is no competition, only Mike and Gary (and their staff) cheering YOU on to help you be better than who you were yesterday at YOUR PACE. Lets not forget the monthly fees to be a member...it feels like we are getting it for free because the price is so dang good! I Love This Gym, The Owners, the other family members and Everything to do with the encouragement and support they provide. You will never know unless you try and see for yourself why so many cannot live without our EVERYTHING FITNESS FAMILY. Fantastic experience: I have been a member at this gym for over two years and have also worked professionally with the management team alongside my business. The staff are always pleasant and their knowledge of equipment and their use is great! Anytime I’ve had a concern or question it has always been resolved quickly. Everything Fitness is one of the few locally owned gyms remaining and the local support is huge! I love the equipment, the environment and especially the variety of rooms I can use for my training! I’d like to give a big kudos to this gym and it’s staff that are able to keep up with the COVID health and safety measures and for always supporting your members and their needs!

Fantastic experience: Best gym in Guelph! The staff and owners are so friendly and welcoming. The environment working out at Everything Fitness is very safe. The staff and owners are well on top of all the COVID protocols of making sure the gym is sanitized at least 4 to 5 times when they shutdown the gym for half an hour everytime and sanitize the entire gym. I feel very safe using Everything Fitness everyday even during COVID. Everyone working out always has their masks on and everyone is constantly cleaning the machines they use as they workout before and after they workout. Great and safe place to workout during COVID!

Fantastic experience: This is my happy place, I have completely changed my life with the assistance of the people there and their facility. This place has helped me mentally nd physically. I love the no frills approach and the 24/7 access, always clean always good equipment to meet my needs.

Fantastic experience: Haven't ever had a bad day at this place! Started in February 2019, last year of high school, on a whim. Had a spare second period, and decided to dedicate it to improving myself, and it was one of the best decisions I've made. Always had great things to say about the staff, the community is wonderful, and I've never felt like I was being judged, everyone was always supportive and wanted to see me succeed. Some machines are a little bit worn down, but overall, the care and dedication from this place has been something that has stuck with me.

Fantastic experience: Best gym in town. Great and very friendly staff and owners. This gym has all the gym equipment you need to have a really good workout. Been going to this gym for over 5 years and it’s just been great! Staff and owners are always willing to help out and solve any issues right away that you may have. Every since COVID and the pandemic began, this gym has kept sanitizing its top priority and closes down the gym for four to five times throughout the day and take half an hour each time and sanitize the entire gym. People who come to workout all wear masks and everyone working out keeps a safe distance as well and everyone sanitizes the machines before and after they use them, in order to keep following the gym’s sanitizing rules! Overall, great gym and great working out environment!

Fantastic experience: We first met Master Aguto over 6 years ago when my oldest son started Taekwondo with his fighting academy. Few years ago my youngest one joined the team. Last year I joined the gym. Our family has nothing but great things to say about this place and the owners. We have seen the business grow because of the hard work of Master Aguto and Mike. Fantastic experience: I have never in my life have seen a business care this much about it’s people. I’ve been an Everything Fitness member for four years now and they have shown nothing but compassion, care , and love for their members. The gym is always clean, they have friendly staff, they make sure that everyone feels comfortable and content whilst their workouts. Even with this pandemic they’re making sure that everyone is happy. Gary and Mike are such wonderful people , really glad I get to be part of their gym.

Fantastic experience: One of the few locally owned gyms left in our City of Guelph! COVID19 has put a huge strain on our local businesses and community and I am often amazed at how creative this team at Everything Fitness is in trying to accomodate the Members the best they can despite the difficult situation the governemnt has put them in. I've seen the efforts put into keeping this gym one of the safest and cleanest facilities in the city and it truly is! This is one of my favorite gyms to attend and I would like to pass on a HUGE kudos to the staff and owners for keeping this place going. I would rather pay my monthly fee while the facility is MANDATED to close, AGAIN, by the government than to lose this location to the big chains like GoodLife, Crunch Fitness, or Movati. The Staff and even Members are always so supportive of eachother and it truly is another family, a gym family! I have read some of the negative reviews and they really are one off situations especially in a time like this I strongly feel this team of people at Everything Fitness stand by their Members. We can all improve with feedback even those indivuduals that choose to leave negative reviews because they are out-of-pocket a Monthly Fee... Negative experience: The company's owner has decided to slander my business, and create lies on the internet publicly from this account. I was a member of 5 years to this gym, and have tried to email, call, message, and even go in to cancel my gym membership and it has not been completed still. They have mentioned my business in posts that have nothing to do with my business, and they have harassed me from their family members accounts. Gary also threatened me publicly from their account on the wall of my facebook. 1 star. Cops have been called and will be speaking to them soon. Stay away.

Negative experience: Convenient location is its most attractive quality for me. Members too often don't wipe machines after use (men are the worst at this!). A reminder should be taped on every machine and signs posted around. Equipment not fixed promptly especially in the 'women only' area. Some areas have seen very little cleaning and entrance area is shabby.

Negative experience: Outdated equipment with poorly trained staff. I cancelled my membership to join a gym closer to home, only to get an email the following day that I still had a contract for another three months and was responsible to pay after their employees made a mistake. Ridiculous "customer service" for a cheap, dingy fitness facility. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Great no frills gym, very affordable! It's a small gym but it never gets overwhelmingly busy, plus its 24 hours which is convenient. The saunas are really nice and they even have a women's only area as well as tanning which is all included in the price! This gym is best for someone not looking for anything fancy, they also have a variety of crossfit equipment so it's great if you're into crossfit/weightlifting.

Fantastic experience: Best gym in the city. It isn't fancy like more Goodlife but there is more equipment than you will need. I especially love their crossfit/powerlifting room.

Fantastic experience: Great no frills gym, very affordable! It's a small gym but it never gets overwhelmingly busy, plus its 24 hours which is convenient. The saunas are really nice and they even have a women's only area as well as tanning which is all included in the price! This gym is best for someone not looking for anything fancy, they also have a variety of crossfit equipment so it's great if you're into crossfit/weightlifting.

Positive experience: Best value out there for a gym membership. Clean, adequate facilities. They seem to be getting new equipment steadily this year which is nice also. Don't come for the frills or to show off - you'll be disappointed. It's not a Goodlife but it's 1/4 of the price! This is just a solid place to work out for very little investment or hassle. Free tanning in a new stand up is a really nice perk. Staff is generally friendly.

Positive experience: This is an awesome gym, don't get me wrong. However, my monthly membership price changed halfway through my 1 year contract, from $10 to $20. I feel that my contract should have been honoured, especially since I put down a $100 one-time fee which is now only $20 with the new membership. This gym was able to avoid honouring its contract by changing its name.
