Negative experience: Would’ve been nice if bathrooms were cleaner, it was properly advertised and had better staff, right not bathrooms are disgusting, it’s mostly men and the staff is extremely non Chalant. They are more worried about they’re relationships rather than their job.

Negative experience: The service is terrible. My son has fitness class here. There was a round table rest area at the entrance, and all the seats were empty. The parents wanted to sit there and wait for child, but were repeatedly told that it was not allowed. We have to be in hot cars and on the side of the road .This kind of service and customer experience is not worthy of the price charged by Goodlife. I'd rather not get a gym membership here. I asked the coach to change the class location. Bella is so professional and responsible. She helped my child get an entry card and solved our waiting problem. I give her a thumbs up.

Negative experience: As a 15 year member of goodlife and 5 year member of this location, extremely disappointed in the lack of maintenance with the equipment especially the elyptical machines which have been broken for the 5 years ive been coming here. Out of 8 machines 2 work. I can use other forms of cardio. But when im paying a premium membership i shudnt have to alter my workout due to negligence. I’ve mentioned this before in the past and nothing gets done. Secondly. This free kids club is the worst idea ever! Parents drop them off for free daycare and they run around and treat this place like its their own. Getting om the way of people trying to actually workout and making this gym overly packed for no reason only in the hopes of one day these kids become members. They should charge for summer daycare. They will weed out the traffic. As for staff. They are always friendly and welcoming and listen to any concerns however they say their hands are tied and i understand that. So complaining here is pointless as ive had a few issues over the years and goodlife simply does not care. Its a business to them. U dont like it go elsewhere. Unfortunately for me logistical speaking this works for me for now. But i will change gyms if this persists.

Negative experience: Honestly, they shouldn’t even be allowed to have this gym open and charge GoodLife membership rates. It’s extremely small, extremely old, and just poor overall. It’s insane to think some of the gyms that are open right now across the GTA and how amazing they are then look at this gym. Look at the GoodLife at Oakville place then look at this GoodLife you wouldn’t even think they’d be owned by the same company. I wouldn’t work out here unless it’s an emergency. The only think that can really save this gym is a full renovation and extension. It’s not big enough.

Negative experience: Came in with a free day pass hoping to try out the gym and potentially sign up with my military discount. Instead told no one was available to a tour and was asked to pay for a day pass—kind of defeats the purpose of a free pass. Not a great first impression

Negative experience: So not only is the gym crazy tiny and packed.. but now the AC is non-existent on the machine/free weights side and the smell is UNBEARABLE. Front desk staff is non-existent (or working out for their entire shift?) and even with them working out they still refuse to take a 5 second glance at the empty paper towel dispensers. Truly bottom of the barrel service here..... Definitely going to make the 15+ minute drive to another GoodLife that actually cares.

Negative experience: Quite possibly the smelliest gym I’ve ever been to. It’s not the gyms fault but at some point you need to hold people accountable for smelling up the whole entire gym. It’s an absolute stink factory in here. Also the free program for kids in the summer is brutal 5-6 kids around 1 machine. Playing around with stuff. I pay and come here to workout not to wait for kids to mess around with stuff. They should be monitored

Negative experience: I’ve been a member for some time now, and the quality of this gym has gone significantly downhill. The facility is consistently dirty and in desperate need of deep cleaning — especially in the change rooms and bathrooms. The female accessible washroom has been out of order for months, and I’ve heard multiple reports from male members about blood in their washrooms. Frankly, I don’t even want to imagine what the showers and saunas are like at this point. We chose this specific GoodLife location solely because it’s open 24/7 — but even that perk is losing its value, as night staff regularly leave early, leaving the gym completely unattended. That’s not just frustrating — it’s a safety issue. Machines are constantly broken, and there’s not enough variety to begin with. To make matters worse, cleaning supplies like spray bottles and paper towels are rarely available, so members can’t clean equipment before or after use — unacceptable in a shared space, especially post-pandemic. The recent introduction of summer “kids time” has turned the gym into a chaotic jungle gym. It’s loud, disruptive, and not what adult members pay $60+ per month for. We’re here to train, not step around unsupervised children running between machines. We don’t pay to attend a daycare. As a former gym maintenance supervisor for a high-end gym and spa, I know what proper standards of cleanliness, safety, and professionalism look like — and this location is far from meeting them. We’re now seriously considering switching to another gym that takes member experience and hygiene more seriously

Positive experience: It seems I may have misplaced my weightlifting belt at a machine after my previous workout. Upon returning yesterday, I noticed it was missing. The belt is an RDX lever belt. I would be very appreciative if the person who may have found it could return it to me. Furthermore, I am curious as to why someone might take an item that does not belong to them. I would also be grateful if I could review the security footage to identify who may have taken it and to be more cautious in the future.

Negative experience: Poorly managed. Front counter is sometimes overcrowded with 5 people. Washroom , shower area and sauna needs cleaning. Maintaining gym area is required. Management needs to have staff working not behind counter chating. Please do better.

Positive experience: Well I have been going to this gym for 13 yrs and although it is open 24 hrs it is closed a lot. Like last evening I got there at 11 pm and it was closed this was the 14 time for me in the last 3 years that it was closed

Fantastic experience: Been to half dozen GoodLife gyms, and if I had to pick one it would probably be this one. Great natural light and layout. All the equipment you need. Clean change room and sauna/shower area. Lots of dedicated parking access to this dedicated gym facility and good people.

Negative experience: Needs Improvement Location: The gym is relatively small but has a good layout with sufficient equipment. Ambience: The usual patrons are present during a lunch workout, but the atmosphere lacks the energy that can really pump you up. Facilities: The change rooms have seen better days and definitely need a renovation. The showers are well below my standard, and I wouldn't use them again. Overall: This gym is okay for an emergency workout, but it wouldn't be my choice for a home club.

Negative experience: By far the worst Good Life location in the country. Old , small and outdated, the space is in need of a reno. The ceilings are extremely low, your head hits the ceiling when using the step machine.

Negative experience: I’ve been to many gyms, but the Milton Ontario GoodLife is by far the most disappointing. The gym is consistently dirty, with equipment that’s often broken or not maintained, same thing with the change rooms. I’ve also witnessed the front desk staff obstructing a clearly marked exit by placing a kettle weight there, despite it being -10 degrees outside, sometimes colder. Some trainers hog equipment they’re not even using, leaving it cluttered with their coffee, clipboards, etc. When confronted about things like obstructing the doorway or not sharing equipment, some staff members are rude and condescending. Overall, I would not recommend this location.

Fantastic experience: Ive had personal trainer before, but none have matched the expertise and guidance of Daniel! He is incrediblely knowledgable, explains everything in detail and challenges me in the best way possible. In a month of training with him, ive improved significantly. His workouts are tailors to my needs, are effective and pushes me beyond my limits with proper form and techniques. Fantastic experience: I have been a member at this Goodlife for around a decade and have been there through numerous staff turnarounds. The team that is currently running this gym is hands down the best team I have become acquainted with so far! Their genuine friendliness and warming welcomes becomes a great start to anyones workout. I have noticed more frequent equipment cleaning by the staff, and management has become more assertive with what needs to be updated/repaired as this gym seems to be put last on corporate’s list of priorities. The team has managed to create a gym that feels comfortable, “home-y,” and is accepting to all. With the amount of care and effort the staff puts into this gym and its members, I would love to see this gym thrive with quicker repairs, and updates!

Fantastic experience: Review for Shawna, My Personal Trainer at GoodLife Fitness I recently trained with Shawna at GoodLife Fitness, and I couldn’t be more happier with the experience. Over four sessions, she introduced me to a personalized strength training program tailored to my goals, including muscle gain, fat loss, and managing my lower back pain. Shawna’s knowledge and professionalism were outstanding. She not only explained the exercises but also the science behind them, making everything easy to understand. She created a gym plan that was both effective and safe for my back, and since following her guidance, my back pain has completely disappeared. Negative experience: GoodLife Fitness in Milton is open 24 hours, which is fantastic for those with a busy schedule. The gym has a wide range of equipment, making it ideal for any fitness routine. However, the staff wasn’t particularly friendly, as they didn’t greet members when entering or leaving. Additionally, the men’s washrooms and sauna were not as clean as expected. Despite the service and cleanliness issues, the flexible hours and equipment variety are a big plus!

Negative experience: Not a fan of this gym at all. The machines are sometimes dirty, the lighting is not the greatest, it definitely feels outdated and like you’re working out in a damp basement. I do like the number of treadmills and cardio machines, but the parking is inadequate for the amount of people that go to this gym. Even though it’s supposed to be 24 hours, it’s not. I really hope that Milton upgrades their gym. Instead, I go to the women’s GL gym on Main and it’s absolutely wonderful.

Negative experience: Today is the second time we can’t access the gym, there was not staff and bunch of people was on their cars waiting for someone to arrive and open the gym. All of this without previous notice. Moreover, last week there was no one on that shift, and when we arrived the gym was unstaffed, we couldn't enter normally and there were no towels until the 6 am when someone arrived. This gym is not supposed to be 24hr gym?

Negative experience: I switched to this gym for several reasons, but the most important one was its 24-hour service. However, this morning, I arrived at my usual time, 4:45 a.m., ready to start my routine, only to find it closed. The only explanation was a note on the door stating that the gym now closes at 11 p.m. Beyond missing my workout and wasting my time, I was frustrated by the lack of communication regarding this change. Another issue: this gym is supposed to be a fragrance-free environment, yet I find it unnecessary for staff to wear such strong perfumes, especially so early in the morning. It contradicts the comfort and atmosphere the gym should provide. I hope these concerns are addressed to improve the overall experience for members.

Fantastic experience: Started going to the gym here after some time away and enrolled in the PT programme. Daniel has helped me gain confidence and has helped make the gym much more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend trying a few sessions with Daniel regardless if you're a newcomer to the gym or experienced. The wealth of knowledge gained is unmatched. Since starting training with Daniel I have been able to loose about 20 lbs. I'm really happy with the results so far. My physique has improved and thanks to Daniel my motivation stays high.

Negative experience: These guys do not honour their policy. When I signed up their website stated that I had a 10 refund window. I cancelled my subscription and requested a refund the same day. First rep told me he had processed the refund payment, I waited 2-3 weeks and nothing. Second rep told me the refund wasn't placed, so he processed it. Waited 1 month, nothing. Don't waste your time here.

Positive experience: The staff are kind and equipment is okay but the worst part is how dirty the equipment gets. Ive been to other GoodLife gyms and they usually have someone wiping equipment but I’ve never seen it here. Theres sweat stains and just dirt on a lot of the equipment, plus the location itself feels stuffy with almost no floor space or mirrors to really get the best from your workout.

Negative experience: Decent gym, way out dated,some machines don't even work properly the cables are junk. Definitely need to add some new equipment or better yet make this gym bigger. Free weights area is like a zoo,not enough space lack of benches. Staff for the most part are nice. Cardio section is out dated as well, bikes are uncomfortable and missing parts for your feet, treadmills are mainly all junk as well. Head office should definitely consider revamping this gym considering the money members pay. I also think it isn’t fair that towel service isnt for all members,why charge more? Basic subscription should get you a towel regardless. UPDATE: This gym is absolutely terrible, the men’s bathroom had a stall out of service for weeks, how does a huge corporation like this let stuff like this happen? Someone from corporate needs to wake up and invest some money into this place. The machines are all junk,some are broken for weeks if not months,and when they do get fixed they break again fast. Maybe upgrade the equipment? Hire a more competent team to up keep this gym? The lighting is terrible, the showers are gross,seriously goodlife get it together milton needs a big location like Mississauga and the other surrounding cities have.

Negative experience: I work late nights so I am forced to come to this location and workout after hours. Negative experience: I usually love this gym but had a really annoying experience recently - the manager Abdul Hamad clearly saw me leave the gym a few minutes before and I just happened to forget my waterbottle and keys with my goodlife tag attached so I told him. He proceeds to tell me he needs my phone number - fine. But he asks me this while he’s busy with 2 people. I then ask another worker who knows I’m a regular (Esha - she’s always been great) to let me in and she’s about to, but he stopped her and told her to not, despite her being free to let me in and him being busy with 2 people. I was clearly in a rush and some people entering started to notice my frustration, so one customer politely offered to open the door for me with his tag. I didn’t agree because I didn’t want the manager to continue his insane power trip. I waited 5 minutes for him to finally ask for my phone number and name. Ridiculous. All the other staff members are so sweet and it’s unfortunate Abdul Hamad is a manager. Any of the other staff members would do a far better job.

Negative experience: Went july 11 around 1:20 am. Guy at the front desk with green t-shirt, harly awake to understand anythng or to use computer how to activate the account. Barely can open eyes, what's the point of front desk if they are not awake and dont know how to look up into account from computer or dont have any knowledge for how to atleast stay awake during job hours .. and can provide wrong information to client about the account. That guy need a place to sleep not to work .

Positive experience: We need more group classes and the gym needs to be open on holidays as it was pre-COVID. Classes have been removed from the schedule with no notice so get to the gym and....no class...removed completely. Pre-COVID holiday classes were 90 minutes (usually step) and were some of the best classes to enjoy and were always full to capacity.

Negative experience: Firstly I would like to acknowledge the staff for being very friendly and doing the best with what they have to deal with. This gym needs a major update. I have been a member for 13 years and not a single new piece of equipment has entered the gym. When a piece of equipment is broken it takes months to be repaired. Sometimes it just gets removed from the floor and not replaced. Lots of the weight machines have ripped and peeling leather. In the changerooms the floors are lifting. Most recently we lost another massage chair, down to only one now. This gym is the same size it was in the 90s when milton was a population of less then 50 thousand. The gym needs to be updated and expanded. I don't understand how you can charge the same amount as other goodlife gyms that are ten times the size all freshly updated with up to date equipment. If you plan to work out between 5pm-7pm, it will take you twice as long. You will always have to wait for equipment.

Negative experience: Would appreciate if the staff enforced the cleaning of machines after use. The amount of people walking away after leaving their sweat on the machines is disturbing. I’ve also seen staff leave machines without wiping, as well as their girlfriend’s doing the same. They should lead by example.

Positive experience: It's an alright location. I understand that it's old but I hope that there's a bigger location opened soon since Georgetown and Milton are growing. Staff is kind and always smiling. No smell and it's mostly clean. It's open 24/7 which is nice. Less busier than the Georgetown location. No major complaints other than the tiny free weight section. Ladies be warned, they don't have many squat racks so maybe go to another location for your leg day. Since I have the ultimate pass it doesn't bother me, I usually only come on upper body days.

Negative experience: I’ve been to many Goodlifes’s in my day and this location must be the worst one. It’s a big stain on the underpants of the Goodlife corp. Nasty change rooms, minimal equipment and rude staff. Get it together or start fresh with a new building.

Positive experience: It’s large space but needs maintenance & renovation . Washrooms are old, machines show sign of rust. It’s doable if you have no other option. The bar code scanner malfunctions every time you put your phone in front. The support people are helpful.

Positive experience: Needs more squat racks as well as other equipment that gets used alot and sell off the equipment that gets used the least if at all. Dumbbell area needs to be bigger as we are all basically tripping over each other. I would love to work with management and help plan the lay out better FOR FREE.

Negative experience: They moved the machines closer to each other so you’re literally working out face to face with people. It’s so cramped - everyone keeps bumping into each other. Not enjoyable at all

Negative experience: Unfortunately I have also had a similar experience with one of the trainers . There are a few nice staff members but if I can give one tip to management , your trainers majority of them are not kind and could provide just simple basic respect to members to members that are not being trained , that’s all .
